Quiz Issues - Not highlighting selected answers when 'back' button pressed

Any help would be very much appreciated for this problem.
On Captivate 5.5. and have a few quizzes with anything from 18 questions to 37, the user enters their name and it moves onto the question page.
For example, the user answers question one and goes forward, then goes back one and the answer is no longer selected but the question is locked. When the user comes to review the quiz, it now says the question hasn't been answered when is has been and obviously doesn't get a mark.
Anyone else experienced this or have a clue how to fix it? My preferences are as follows:

Lilybri, I'm not sure if I explained myself well enough in my original post.
User answers question one - presses submit button. CP moves to next question, no problem.
User then answers question two, presses submit button.
User moves back to question two and the button they had selected is no longer selected and the question is locked (it should be locked obviously, but CP should show which answer the user selected).
When you review the quiz it claims 'you did not answer the question completely'. When you had selected something. Also in tests, it was found it knocked off two points from the user sometimes.
I've just tested one this morning and it seems to be it'll sometimes happen on first go, or you have to move forward and backwards a few times for it to start up this behaviour. Any help is appreciated.

Hi mohan,
try to store your search indices in a vector and put that vector in the session scope. at page first loading you get the first index from your vector and pass it in the request scope in your action class, due to the page you have to find a way to understand the passed index in request scope and translate it to the searched word location.really I have not a code sample, but it is just an idea.

Captivate 5 quiz review not showing correct answers when loaded to LMS

Hello All. I would really appreciate some help please. Despite the quiz review working correctly when published, i.e. both 'your answer' and 'the correct answer' captions appear in the review, on loading to LMS the review caption does not show the 'the correct answer is' , but instead 'you did not answer this question completely'.
Any ideas why this should be the case? I've attached screen shots of my quiz preferences for completenes.

Do the same modules evidence this behaviour when published and played outside the LMS, e.g. from a web server or on your hard drive?
If not, it's possible that some setting in the LMS is over-riding what happens at playback. You could try checking the box under LMS Customisation for Never Send Resume Data and see if that seems to make any difference. If the LMS is maintaining a record of some previous attempt at the same module then turning off Resume Data might show that up.

When I try to cut and paste my resume into an online job website the reume' will not highlight ( select All), any ideas?

The new iTunes has a somewhat different look from the previous version. You can get the old look back if you prefer it by doing View > Show Sidebar in iTunes. Or you can adapt to the new look.

Display data when Back button of Browser is pressed

Thanks for Reading my query.
I have an issue with display of data in Jsp page:
I have 2 JSP pages, wherein i entered data in page1 and clicked submit to see page2.Now i pressed back button of browser and im able to see data which i entered.I require the feilds in page1 to be cleared when back button is pressed in page2.Could any one please tell me how to handle this issue.
Please help me out.

you can use the HTML header set pragma - no-cache expires - 0 and cache-control - no cache property so whenever you will press back button of browser it will show the message page has been expired. You can find the proper syntax on any HTML site

How is when a button pressed a report will come to the same page !!!

I wonder that is it possible to bring a report to the page as a region but only when a button pressed in apex .When ı clicked the go button for example ı want to list a report in the same page.

Create your report in a region as normal.
Create a second region and in this region create an item eg p171_item.
In the same region create 2 buttons
Get Report and Reset (branching back to same page).
Create 2 page processes (PLSQL) on submit after computations

Tie the processes to the buttons.
On your report region put a condition

Now by pressing the buttons the report region is opened and closed.
Now hide P171_ITEM.

Quiz Questions provide no selectable answers in HTML5 Publish

I am having issues with quizzing, whereas HTML5 format doesn't allow the user to select answers in quiz slides…
I am publishing a Captivate 7 project to two separate LMS' for beta testing purposes.
When I publish the project as HTML5 only, the quiz question appears as well as possible answers, but the form field does not appear, therefore rendering the user completely incapable of selecting an answer.
Publishing the same project as swf and HTML5 renders perfect results. (Quiz slide, selectable answers, and form field all show up and work)
Any advice?

I solved my own problem.
I had inserted a background image into each of the question master slides.
When looking at either the master slide or timeline slide, the slide would lokk good. All text and slide objects, including answers, would show up on the slide as they should.
However, once published, the background image would cover the form fields used to select correct answers. This not only prevented the user from selecting an answer, but also caused major issues with audio and CC tracks after the quiz.

Rollovers stay highlight when back button is clicked

Hi All,
I am a novice Dreamweaver user so please forgive me if this
question is basic... I have looked everywhere for the answer. I am
designing my page and I have created rollover through Behaviors.
They work great, but the problem that I am running in to is that
when I hit the back button they are still highlighted and do not
unhighlight until I mouse off them again. I have read that this is
a IE problem, but I am testing with Firefox 3.0, Safari (newest)
and IE (newest) and I am getting the same problem with all. Is
there any way to fix this? I will post the code for one link.

How to clear parameters defined in selection screen on back button

Hi,
I have a report with parameters, few being input fields, and check boxes. After report is executed when user selects the back button, the selection screen is displayed again but with the old selection values. I want to clear them.
So in the Initialization even I added the code to clear all these parameters;
CLEAR: p_aaa, p_bbb, p_ccc.
I debugged and control passes through this code but still the fields are not cleared and they retain the old input values.
How to clear them ?

IMO, he only wants to clear the selection screen parameters on the click of 'BACK' button
in the list screen. If the OP clears the selection screen variables in AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT
even, the values assinged to the selection parameters in the INITIALIZATION and with the DEFAULT addition of the PARAMETERS and SELECTION-OPTIONS statements will also be overwritten even when the report is executed for the

Active Focal Point Not Shown in Software Using Back Button Focus

I use Back Button Focus (BBF) and set the focus point (using center spot).
In the software (DPP, ZoomBrowser or EOS Utility) the point I selected is not highlighted in the view window.
All points are shown, but none highlighted.
If I take the same shot using default focus method (shutter button AF), the point is highlighted .
Why is this?

I did just download and install the updates (DPP, EOS, Picture Style Editor and Zoom Browser).
Still no red focus point(s) shown with Back-button Focusing.
I searched on the web for this "symptom" and found, that I'm not alone.
It seems in Back-Button Focusing, the focus point won't be displayed unless you hold the back button down (* button in my case) while pressing the shutter button.
I tried holding the * button while taking a shot and yes the red box shows up.
This seems like defeating the usefulness of back button focusing. (???).
What do I know? I'm just a newbie.

How to go to previous page in windows phone 8 when back button is pressed

I have a home page or landing page in my windows phone c# based app where user enters login details and upon successful login user is redirected to page2 . Here the user will see a list box with few items . Upon selecting an item from this list box a new
page called "Threadx" opens.(where x is the each page that opens upon clicking the x item in the list box)
While user is on this Thread page "Threadx" he may receive the toast notifications and the thread gets updated with new replies or answers on that thread.
But When user clicks on back button the "ThreadX" page doesn't get closed and instead it goes to its previous state where it has less number of messages , and so on until the app gets closed.

you don't need to navigate explicitly. Just clear the back stack till your specific page and say goback. below is the code you can use.

Ho to back on selection screen using BACK button

I have a program which contains 3 screens:
1st -- selection screen.
2nd -- my screen, I called it 1002, When I press F8 button on I get on it. I am using cl_gui_alv_grid there with my own buttons. So when I press MY OWN the save button I get the 3d screen
3d -- my own screen with some labels (screen name 1001).
So when i press BACK button on the third screen I want to back on selection screen and skip second screen, but I can't, I think the problem is in the cl_gui_alv_grid because I use custom grid handler:

LEAVE TO SCREEN 0. " This makes the Program to go back from where it had started
or Create a Tcode for your program
CASE e_ucomm.

Disable page display when back button is pressed after logout

I dont want the old pages to appear once the back button is pressed after loggin g out. That is .... when logged in, if the user presses back button then his previous pages must be shown....but once the user logs out and then if he presses back button then some message like session has been closed....like message should be displayed.

If you expire a page then back button will not take it to the previous page.
expire is a HTTP-EQUIV meta tag in the header of the page. You can set the content to some time in the "past" when serving the page first time.
Expires

a request for a document whose time has "expired" will initiate a new network request for the document.
An illegal Expires date such as "0" is interpreted by the browser as "immediately." Dates must be in the RFC850 format, (GMT format):
