RAISE A HOME-MADE EXCEPTION

Hi All
I have written a RFC. I have a input as a char(25).
I would like to raise an exception with <error message> + <input>
for instance ERROR IN THE STRING <INPUT STRING>
How can I do ?
Thanks for your help

I expose few RFC as webservice and.... I should to provide exception. That's why I do it. Normally I never use Exception, but I should.
The SOAP RFC is very powerfull but I have to respect a best practice provided by the SAP team of my company.

  • JNLPClassloader raises class not found Exception

I have some class files which are part of a jar file. I made sure this jar is downloaded by JWS on client machine. When application is launched in stand alone mode then JNLPClassloader complains at runTime that particular class is missing.Although this class is already inside jar file.
Did any one faced similar situation when JNLPClassloader raises "Class Not found Exception" ? How this can be avoided?

yeah i made sure classes are put in proper folder. As i am using Eclipse,JDK1.6, jboss so when i launch application directly from Eclipse then it works fine.
But if i launch through JWS then it does not work. I am not able to understand why JWS can not detect classes inside Jar file downloaded on client machine ?

  • How does iMatch treat my own home-made recordings with high emotional value?

The question speaks for itself. I am cautious of using iMatch, because I am not sure what it will do with my precious home-made recordings (with performances of some of my deceased family members) of which there is no 'match'. Is it smart to make a back-up of these files first before sending them away in the cloud? Will it back up these files and make them available for all of my devices for my family when they log in under my name?

    Hi,
Match will not change your files. If they meet match requirement regarding file type, size and bit rate they will be uploaded as is. If they are aiif, WAV or lossless they will be transcoded to 256 Kbps.
You should maintain a separate back up of all your music - do not rely on match.
The music will be available to stream or download on other devices and computers whilst signed into your Apple ID but be wary of the authorization rules. http://www.apple.com/uk/support/itunes/authorization/

  • Unable to install Windows on an 2010 iMac with home-made Fusion Drive

    Hi there,
I've been very happy using mi iMac eversince I installed the SSD alongside the HDD.  Only recently I tried to install Windows 7 but it doesn't seem to work.  The installer runs, it seems as though Windows is installing but it doesn't ever seem to be able to boot.  I've tried countless times.  Everytime it boots to Windows it shows nothing but just a black screen with the cursor blinking at the top left corner.
Now, when I home-made the Fusion Drive the Mac OS was only 10.8.2 or older and I know that with 10.8.3 Apple has made improvements towards boot camp and especially the 3TB HDDs.  I wonder if this could have anything to do.
Anyway, please enlighten me as to what is it that I need to do to make it work.  I've been reading something about the position in which the Windows partition resides compared to GUID and EFI but honestly I have just the tiniest idea about all that.  Just for the record, the following is what shows in the Terminal after diskutil list command:
    diskutil list
    /dev/disk0
       #:                       TYPE NAME                    SIZE       IDENTIFIER
       0:      GUID_partition_scheme                        *256.1 GB   disk0
       1:                        EFI                         209.7 MB   disk0s1
       2:          Apple_CoreStorage                         255.7 GB   disk0s2
       3:                 Apple_Boot Boot OS X               134.2 MB   disk0s3
    /dev/disk1
       #:                       TYPE NAME                    SIZE       IDENTIFIER
       0:      GUID_partition_scheme                        *1.0 TB     disk1
       1:                        EFI                         209.7 MB   disk1s1
       2:          Apple_CoreStorage                         942.3 GB   disk1s2
       3:                 Apple_Boot Boot OS X               650.0 MB   disk1s3
       4:       Microsoft Basic Data                         57.0 GB    disk1s4
    /dev/disk2
       #:                       TYPE NAME                    SIZE       IDENTIFIER
       0:                  Apple_HFS Fusion Drive           *1.2 TB     disk2
    Hope you can help..!

Hello again, by reading a couple of posts I learnt the steps and so, using an external OS I repartitioned the two internal drives making sure the Windows partition wasn't part of the Fusion Drive.  I was very excited as I was sure it would work and went ahead and started the Win7 installation even before the MacOS was restored into the iMac.
No good news though.  The installer run as expected however, when the time came for the iMac to boot from the newly installed Windows7, all I saw was a blank screen and a blinking dash at the top left corner of the screen.
Lastly, this morning I woke up to see that my old system was fully restored from Time Machine external back up.  I also leart that using the Boot Camp Assistant I could remove the Windows partition that I created on Terminal from the external OS, which was surprising, I honestly thought that that partitioning arrangement would be off-limits for the Boot Camp Assistant.
Still, I haven't been succesfull installing Windows back to my Mac, can anybody help?

  • Flash profiling of memory after clearing cache of home-made rsl files

I have a question about the flash memory profiling tools.
Once I have completely loaded a swf file into my browser, complete with multiple home-made gigantic RSLs (not flex swzs), the memory footprint of my application is small; I have not instantiated any of the objects in the RSL files.  However, as stated earlier, the RSLs are very big files; full of embedded assets.
If I clear my browser cache, those gigantic RSL files are deleted.
Then, when I use my flash app to create objects from the RSL, flash profiler shows my memory footprint increase.  That makes sense; I just made some large objects.
But from where did flash load those objects?
    I deleted the RSL files.
The flash profiler showed I was using hardly any memory, suggesting that the class files were not loaded into memory already.
Are the files kept in a secondary file cache?  Is there a second memory cache?  Can I profile its size?

    1. No. and the main footprint of a bitmap is probably is per-instance so the instance cost is probably what you're interested in.  Anything embedded is also a class and the first time you access the class the Class category should go up by a bit.
    2.  When your app requires an RSL, the SWF for the RSL is loaded into memory (in a buffer you can't see from the profiler), expanded and parsed (into even more memory that you can't see from the profiler).  Then as you access classes from the RSL, the profiler should show growth in the Class, Object and Function.  If you statically link just the code you need, the amount of memory to load the SWF and parse it will be smaller since it doesn't need space for classes you won't need, but after that it is the same.  The advantage of the RSL is that most folks end up using 200K or more from the RSLs so that's a download cost you pay the first time you run the app.  The Flex RSLs are pretty well deployed so your chances of having savings is pretty good.  Private RSLs for your app will do no good unless there is another app on the same domain that uses the RSLs.  See the modules presentation on my blog for more info
    3.  The profiler does not show System.totalMemory.  Even that number isn't the whole measure.  We're currently fans of PrivateBytes to measure total weight of the app.  But it depends on what problem you're trying to solve.

  • How do I copy a home made HD video file (MP4 codec) of 10 GB from an external hard disk to my Mac Book Pro? Thanks

How do I copy a home made HD video file (MP4 codec) of >10 GB from an external hard disk to my Mac Book Pro? Thanks

I will never know if the problem was one of transfer or format compatibility.  The movie would not copy from one external hard diask to another, both attached to my MAC. But when the movie (which was in mpg by the way) was downloaded directly (without any other intermediary) into my external disk from the computer (a PC) where the movie was originated, the file did copy. And when I attached that external hard disk to my MAC, i could see it  using the MPEC streamclip app.
    Thank you anyway!

  • How can I sync a .mov file of a home-made video?

How can I sync a .mov file of a home-made video?

Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

  • Using the In port.vi and Out port.vi in LabVIEW access my the Cards(Home made)

    Hi Everyone,
I have got the Cards (home made 8 bit and 16 bit ) plug in at slot ISA my PC (I am using the commands inport and outport (addressed with 318-31A Hex) in C language to access very good). This now,I want to use LabVIEW language to access data directly to Port at my the Cards. In LabVIEW, Can I access data to port using the In port.vi and Out port.vi located in the Advance?
My English is poor, you don't laugh when you read it.
    Thank you a lot.

Are you talking about physical memory access here? If so that is
something entirely different. The Intel x86 architecture uses a separate
IO address range which is entirely separate from memory space.
And at least up to the first Pentium models it was definitely never
possible to address more than 16 bits for IO address space.
This of course has gotten a little more complicated nowadays with many
PCI boards being actually mapped into memory address space instead of IO
address space. So eventhough a PCI board is more like an IO device it
often is accessed in the memory space.

I think the VIs to access physical memory addresses were different than
the ones to access IO addresses. And yes it is definitely not a good
idea to have an application poke into physical memory as it could
completely screw the system to the point where you couldn't start it
anymore. Also IO devices mapped into memory address space are almost
always typically plug and play devices, so their address is not really
fixed and you need to do quite some more work on OS level to enumerate
your hardware and find the resources used before trying to access it.
This is something not really suited to try to do in LabVIEW and
therefore should be at least implemented as DLL but in fact anything but
a device driver is a very bad kludge.

  • Home Made Ringtones & the 6650 Fold

I have a 6650 Nokia phone. I a currently trying to figure out all the features.
I was wondering if I could make my own ringtones and use them on this particular phone.
Now, I don't know how to make ringtones, meaning I don't know what program to use and where to get a program, and I don't know how to get home made ringtones to my phone, if it is at all possible to do.
Are there any tutorials that explain the possibility of making my own ringtones and using them on my 6650 Fold?
As you can see, I am clueless about this and need instructions or tutorials to help me. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.
    Bartholomew

Garaageband is a Mac program (part of the iLife programs which come with the Mac). The new version makes it easy to create a ringtone, and has a Send to iPhone option to make it easy to sync.
I think you can only use it with original music, not commercial music. Although I'm sure people are getting around that...

  • Not retrieving home made trusted certificates

    Hi,
The aim is to use a server ( Tomcat ) to authenticate web users thanks to their certificate.
I've imported with keytool trusted certificates made by OpenSsl when Iuse -list option I have for each certificate a 'trustedCertEntry' indication ( the CA certificate have been imported with -trustcacerts option ). It seems Ok.
So I run Tomcat with -Djavax.net.debug=all option. No certificate is
prompted. I tried the -genkey method, the key is seen at jvm starting but at handshake with the client I have a 'Could not find trusted certificate' fatal, description = certificate_unknown ( I understand that because client certificate and generated key don't match ).
I don't know where I'm wrong, maybe it's in Tomcat's configuration. I'd like to know what's prompted where everythiing runs well.
    Thanks in advance,
    Christophe

To add the home-made CaCertificate I used keytool without specifying the cacerts file from %JRE%\lid\security directory so keytool added it to %USER_PROFILE%\.keystore and Tomcat use this file to retrieve keys and not cacerts.
Adding explicitly the filename to cacerts it works !!!!

  • Can I share home made videos from iPhone or other devices to the MAC with iCloud. Some places say yes others no.

Is there a way to share videos (home made or from iPhone) with other devices through iCloud or Photostream? I have an iPhone 4 but "movies" made with the phone do not show in Photostream. I have iCloud downloaded to my PC and viseos in the upload folder but don't see where it shows on my iPhone or Mac notebook.

No, you will need to connect the phone to your PC with a USB cable to transfer video to your PC.

What settings is best for home made videos for PAL? I keep getting glitchy video after a while.. they play ok at first, but then they go messy for some reason?? keep playing the messed up video and it freezes the Ipod completly!!
Oh yeah.. the home video corrects itself when you play a purchased movie for a second, you go back and it's ok. some setting must be wrong here that's on these bought videos off Itunes.
    Thanks!
