Re-configure the WRT54G2 to work with the EnGenius 5611P repeater?

I looked around the messages, but could not find anything on this topic.
I need assistance with the CISCO WRT54G2 V1. I have an EnGenius EOC5611P (500mW) Repeater set up in my RV and it connects directly to the PC inside my RV using, a CAT 5 connection. I am now using a laptop and would like to connect to the EOC5611P using wireless. So, that brings me to my question, "Can I re-configure the WRT54G2 to connect the 5611?" (I would plug the router directly into the 5611). According to EnGenius support, it is possible, but the router would have to be re-configured, but they do not support this setup. I would purchase an EnGenius EAO 7530 which would work perfectly, but the price is $245.  Here is the link to the 5611 information http://www.engeniustech.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&catid=89utdoor-access-points-c...
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can offer.
Don

As far as the initial setup is concern you need to do the setup:
The router’s power adapter needs to be plugged to your router and into an available power outlet.
If using a wired connection, the first Ethernet cable needs to be plugged to the computer’s LAN port into any of the router’s blue numbered Ethernet ports.
The second Ethernet cable should be plugged to the modem’s Internet port and the other end into the router’s yellow Internet port.
Ensure that you have no firewall enabled that may prevent the router from being detected.
You can configure all the settings on your Router Manually as well.

  • HT201335 does the Ipod touch work with the airplay mirroring

Does the Ipod touch work with airplay mirroring?

No. Only iPhone 4S and iPad (2nd or 3rd Gen) as it requires more processing power. You can still use airplay with your device though.

  • Does the iPhone 4S work with the tom-tom car kit?

The tomtom car kit still works fine with my old iPhone 4. I can not get it to work with my iPhone 4S at all it does not recognize the car kit.

I also posted this problem on the tomtom fourums and got a fix from a user. In addtion to the iphone 4 adapter I used a peice of velcro on top of the existing adapter I had in place. Now it works with the iphone 4S. I guess the 4S is slightly thinner the the 4.

  • Does the connector in the Universal dock work with the iPhone?

My iPhone now has a thick rubber case making it too big for the iPhone dock.
I have a old iPod universal dock but am not clear if it work with the iPhone. The connector looks similar except that the ends are not quite flush. Will it work?
I don't want to damage a working device.

I've used the universal dock with my iPhone, but it isn't all that stable. You can also just connect the dock connector cable directly to the bottom of the phone; you don't have to use a dock.

  • Does the bluetooth function work with the scanner function on my Photosmart C5550?

I have a new Dell computer and an HP Photosmart C5550.  I use bluetooth to connect to the print. The printer function works correctly but the computer does not recognize the scanner function. Does the scanner function work with bluetooth?
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

Sorry. I hit post before I could elaborate. Not sure what I was thinking. The Bluetooth connection will only support printing. To use the scan feature you will need to connect the printer using a USB or network connection. Hope that explains it a bit better.

  • Does the Griffin iTrip work with the 6th generation iPod?

My car got broken into, and they took my nano and iTrip. I need to buy a new iPod, and I had everything set up in my cart and noticed that the iTrip info only goes up to the 5th generation nano. Does this product http://store.apple.com/us/product/H0691VC/A?mco=MTY3ODQ5OTY#overview work with the new iPod nano? I'm thinking since the iPod 6th generation nano is so new that it's possibly just an update issue.
Please let me know! I have my cart ready to go and want my iPod back as soon as possible.

No. You can only purchase a refurb online. But if you turn in the old iPod Apple will issue you a gift card. Because refurbs are already discounted, Apple does not provide additional discounts.

  • Does the evo3 case work with the iTrip?

Does the evo3 case (http://www.iskin.com/eVo3gallery/features.html) work with the iTrip. I would like to know this before I buy a $35 case.

are you talking about the itrip that connects to the dock at the bottom of the ipod? if so i have an evo3, and it does work, only the itrip falls out from the slightest knock, although you can try putting an elastic band around it to keep it in , the evo3 case is very good though.
    hope that helped

  • Does the Macbook retina work with the Wacom Cintiq tablets?

I have the original Wacom Cintiq 21". Will the MacBook Retina work with this?

Yes - I have a 2012 MacBook Air and it works with a dual-link dvi adaptor only otherwise you'll end up with a lower resolution.
Took a while to work out, but works very well. It's also expensive
The Hdmi only supports 1080 and not the full 2560 x 1080. The other cables are useless.
It also works on windows 8 using boot amp
    Hope this helps

  • Just upgraded from a PC to a iMAC, will the PC code work with the Mac to install PSE12 ?

I will be picking up my new iMAC tomorrow and would like to know if the serial number from my PC version of PSE 12 will work with the iMac ??  I am the original owner of PSE 12
and I'd hate waste more money on something that I don't have to do... and i really can't afford to buy the new version of PSE...
    Please let me know ASAP.....
    thanks,

It depends on the type of your purchase.  If you bought the boxed version then it must have come with medias for PCs as well as MACs.  If this is so then YES your serial number will work with either systems.
If, however, you bought a download version from Adobe website, or your boxed version did not come with both medias then the answer is NO.  the serial in this case won't work with MAC version.
Hope this clarifies the current situation as known to us here.
    Good luck.

  • Will the iphone 5 work with the 4G network in Belgium?

I am very happy with the iPhone 5, love it, but today the Belgian Operator made the 4G network available in some major cities,
but it seems Apple has to "enable" the 4G capabilities for the iPhones in Belgium...
I bought mine directly through the Apple store.  I wonder will it work with the 4G network here ? Anyone using it in 4G mode here in Belgium?
Also if someone at Apple reads this (I hope they do) Siri in Dutch would be super!!! I love Siri but now I have to talk very strange to make
Dutch names understandable for Siri :-)
    kind regards to all

"4G" is a marketing term, not a technical term.
The iPhone 5 can operate on any compatible HSPA+ network anywhere in the world. HSPA+ is defined by the ITU as "4G" and is marketed as such by many carriers. The only iPhones I'm aware of that display "4G" in the status bar are those originally intended for AT&T in the U.S.
LTE is also defined as "4G" and is marketed as such by pretty much every carrier that has an LTE network. When connected to an LTE network, "LTE" should appear in the status bar.
The frequencies used for LTE networks vary from region to region across the globe. In order to use an available LTE network, the phone you're using must have been sold to work in your region.
Apple doesn't have to "enable" anything for it to work. All you need is a phone that's compatible with your network, and a plan that allows for LTE data.
If you purchased the phone from another region, the U.S. for example, it will NOT work on the LTE netwok in your part of the world.

  • Will the Magic Mouse Work with the new iPad?

I know it can work with the wireless keyboard.... but will it work with the mighty mouse?

You could argue that the iPad doesn't have a use for an external keyboard either. Yet it supports one. And truth be told this is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, reasons having optional mouse support would be nice.
You see when typing on an external keyboard you have to reach up and over to tap the iPad. This gets tiring rather quickly. Ironically this is the very reason Steve Jobs argued that touchscreens don't work for notebook computers. A mouse would be more ergonomically sound in this situation. Also the method for selecting text with your finger kind of slow.
As for the lack of a mouse cursor.... as unsanctioned software tweaks have proven, one could easily be added while the mouse is connected.

  • Would the alarm clock works with the tablet is off / shutdown?

    Hi all
Some users (including me) will turn off / shutdown their device when they are asleep to conserve device battery life.
Would the alarm clock work if the tablet is off / shutdown? I do know some smartphone alarm clock would work when the smartphone is off and when it's ringing, it would just automatically turn on the device without user manually on it.
    Have a nice day!
