Re creating Express Analyzer and Express Basic with BI Beans

I am trying to move an application from Express Family to Oracle OLAP 9i. I wanted to know how practically Express 4GL codes can be moved to OLAP DML and Express Analyzer/Express Basic be re-developed using BI Beans.
I am completely unaware of the method of doing it but have experience in Oracle DB 8i/9i for 4 yrs and OLAP activities for 1.5 yrs. So can understand the technical answering.
Kindly contribute to my query very very urgently.

Firstly, you can do some What-if type analysis with Discoverer. You can use a temporary table so that data stored by the user will only be available to the current session. I have used this technique successfully, but you don't get the power and flexibility of Express Analyzer.
You can look at using BI Beans with JDeveloper. It's quite straightforward but you will need a different skill set.
You could also have a look at Oracle BI Enterprise Edition (aka Siebel Analytics). Another option is to use Oracle Applications Express which is a fast and simple applications development environment.

Creating SSL certificate and configuring it with JBOSS 4.0.1

I have to post some data to a secured site from my application.
For this, I am creating connection to that site using URLConnection and to send data I create OutputStream using the connection.
But, while creating the stream it is showing SSLException and message is No trusted certificate found.
For this, I need to create SSL certificate (mostly using keytool command) and configure it with my application server which is JBOSS 4.0.1
Now, my problem is that I don't know the exact steps to create a certificate and configure it with JBOSS. Please provide the steps in detail.

I think you have this back to front. Unless this exception came from the server, in which case it is misconfigured, you don't have to create a certificate, you have to import the server's certificate, or that of one of its signers, into the client's truststore, and tell Java where the truststore is if it's in a non-standard location.

Create Multiple Signature and Date fields with a custom Toolbar Button

First off, thanks in advance! I am a scripting newbie and I am trudging my way through with very little experience with scripting of any kind. I am good at taking other's scripts and forming them into something I need, but I can't seem to find anything to do what I want.
Using Adobe Acrobat X, I am trying to create a toolbar button that I can press to create multiple signature and date fields with predetermined locations.
Below is the script I have that is working to create just a single signature box, but I can't seem to figure out the exact syntax to have that same button create multiple fields. In total it is 9 signature fields and 9 date fields need to be created. If you can just give me an example of what the button would look like with multiple scripts? I was assuming I would set up multiple variables and then in the cExec property of the toolbar button I could just call out all of those variables?

I do have one more question. What I want is when the signature field is clicked it fills out a specific date field. I beleive the script I want would be:

I found this on another thread that mentioned it could be placed in the Signed tab of the signature properties dialog. I am assuming it would be placed in my button script file as a setAction script for each signature, but I am not real sure exactly where or how?

Bug with workflow that creates a folder and sub folder with the same name.

I've found a possible bug in SharePoint 2010 workflows. I only have access to SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint Designer 2010 over my companies intranet, afaik I don't have access to to logs or anything server side so sorry for the any missing information.
I had some problems with a workflow in one list that needed to create some folders and subfolders in a second list. The production version did a lot more so I setup a test area with 1 list and a workflow that only does the folder creation part and have managed
to consistently replicate this problem.
The test list has two columns, [title] and [sub folder title]
The workflow starts by getting the values for [title] and [sub folder title] into variables.
It then creates a folder in the same list with the same name as [title], and then creates a sub folder under this with the name from [sub folder title]
So the resulting structure would be:
Test List:-
List item with fields [title] and [sub folder title]
[folder: title]:-
[folder: sub folder title]
If both folder names are different (e.g Folder1 and Folder2) then it works perfectly fine, if both folder names are the same (regardless of character case, e.g. samefolderName and sameFolderName) then the workflow fails.
As part of the test i made the first action of the workflow to log the message "Workflow Started" to the history list. When the workflow fail there's nothing logged in the history list other than the error: "The workflow could not update the
item, possibly because one or more columns for the item require a different type of information."
Creating a sub folder with the same name as it's parent works fine manually but for some reason a workflow can't seem to do it in one action.
As there's no history list entries before the error it looks like the workflow is just failing to start but if i do something like add an if statement to check if [title] and [sub folder title] are the same, and only create the subfolder when they are not
then it runs fine doing what it's set to.
The function of the workflow in our office was for convenience so were just working without it. Just wanted to post to see if anyone else has come across this/could try to replicate or explain this and see if it's a SharePoint bug or something specific
to our setup.

not sure about the specifics of your workflow, but if you're querying the list for the folders... keep in mind that a list lookup will only ever bring back ONE item... even if there are several items that meet the filter criteria... example: if i search
a list for an item assigned to "john doe", there may be 15 tasks that meet the criteria, and it'll only grab one... this is why SP Designer WARNS you when your list lookup may exhibit this behavior.

Dear Gurus,
When creatting credit and debit sales document with reference to a billing document it is not possible to modify value of the sales document, in order to create a partial document.
It only happens when the billing document refered has billing plan.
I need to create partial debit and credit memo from a billing document with billing plan.
Can anybody take a hand?

I presume you are asking , instead of creating credit and debit memos, why cant we change the sales order, Am I right ?
If I am right, then I like to say here, we have a provision in SAP of creating Invoice correction request.
Which would satisfy your quest I suppose. Invoice correction request of customers complaints, has sales document type is RK, and Document category is K.
"I need to create partial debit and credit memo from a billing document with billing plan" I say why not, you can do it with suggested Invoice correction request which is the combination of G2 & L2 in a single document.

JSF 2.0 and 'Target Unreachable' with nested bean properties

I know that JSF 1.x were not able to created objects for intermediate properties and that it was necessary to create 'y' in 'x.y.z' when 'x' was a managed bean and you wanted to create a new 'y' and set it's 'z'.
My question is: does JSF 2.0 somehow fix this? I'm coming from the Stripes world where this is all done automagically and it's a pretty addictive thing. I'm evaluating JSF and this is so far the first major drawback I see -- in case it can't be done.
If this isn't possible, what is the best practice for creating the object? @PostConstruct on the managed bean? if (y == null) ... in getY() ?

You could define an instance Y in the same scope as 'x' and then inject it into 'x' as a managed property. This is probably dead simple using annotations. It wouldn't be hard with the XML either, just verbose.
If you really want it to be magical, you could create an implementation of javax.el.ELResolver that creates intermediate properties when you need them. Perhaps one already exists; perhaps the Stripes code has one.

Problem in Creating .wsdl file and mapping.xml with ant

i am created my .wsdl file and mapping.xml file with wscompile tool but when i run this by ant tool it show a problem.
the command runs on command prompt but when run throught ant file it shows a following error :-
Execute failed: java.io.IOException: CreateProces: wscompile -define -mapping build\classes\META-INF\mapping.xml -d . -nd build\.................and so on
so if anybody have any idea then plz help me asap

If you mean create the Excel file and then email it to others, just create and save the file to your drive. Then attach the file to an email and send it.
If you mean having a file somewhere and several people being able to access and work on the file, that is not in the scope of Thunderbird or any other email client. You might get help with a solution from Microsoft support forum.

Creating a question and answer database with un incremental question table

i have a project which am suppose to create a database which will be Question and Answers.
the Question are not to be increasing in the database but only the answers.
exp:
Question Table:
Questions: have you slept well?. Do you have children?. and so on till 12 question.
Answer Table:
Answers : 1.yes, 2.no, 3.may be, 4.some how,
and this Answer should be updated in the database with numbers for instant yes should be 3, no should be 0, may be should be 2 and some how should be 1.

Hello, does anybody know, how to create simple PDF and sign it with X509Certificate from .NET managed application? It seems to me, that it is not possible with Acrobat Interapplication Communication API. Do I really need LiveCycle for this operation?

When you say "create", do you really mean "convert some other format to PDF" or did you want to start with a blank page and then do things like "draw string", "draw line", etc?

I've read that autoallocate parameter is worse than uniform size:
"Note - there is an autoallocate option for LMTs that can be used instead of uniform size X. This still slices the file up into uniform chunks (in this case always at 64K), and uses one bit per chunk. However, instead of equating one chunk with one extent, Oracle will consider past history and available gaps to decide what size extent to allocate. The extent will be one of a limited set of sizes - 64K, 1MB, 8MB, 64MB. For relatively small, simple systems where there isn't much information available about proper sizing requirements, this can be a minimum fuss mechanism to adopt; but in general I believe you should stick with uniform sizing.......But why is it so convenient to force every extent in the tablespace to be the same size ? (And at this point, you may appreciate my earlier comment about avoiding autoallocate LMTs, which allow for half a dozen sizes of extents). First, ease of monitoring space; secondly, convenience of data packing, and third, reliability of object rebuilds. "
Is it right? If yes, could anyone tell me with size could be correct? Does it depend on the size of the table, for example? Is there any formula to get the uniform size?
