There are several methods. You could do a research for the term "vector halftone" on Google. There was an article on bittbox.com some time ago.
They mentioned some web based services and the plugin Scriptographer
Several solutions have also been discussed in this forum - search for posts by JET
And then there's the plugin Phantasm CS that can also convert your raster or vector art into vector halftone dots.

We are trying to get XML element (TAG) value from the XML pay load.
Example.
Getting XML String from a web service and then converting into XML payload.

How to insert element to a HashMap while iterating it ?

Hi all,
I have a HashMap having <key, value> as <file name, size of file>.
Before iterating HashMap is loaded with some <key, value> pairs.
While iterating it I'm trying to find all files matching particular key (Pattern created from file name) and insert to the same HashMap.
This ends with a "ConcurrentModificationException".
Is there an alternative way of doing this within one loop ?

Concurrent modification exception while iterating through list

Hi,
I have a list of objects. I use for each loop in java to iterate through that list of objects and display them.
The problem is that while iterating other thread can add or remove some objects from that list, and I get ConcurrentModificationException.
How can I handle this problem. How can I be sure that I am iteration through the updated list.

Synchonize on the list before iterating through it, and make sure that other code also synchronizes on the list before adding to it or removing from it. Using a list implementation that simply synchronizes all the methods (e.g. Vector) will not do that, you have to do it yourself.

What's the best way to add an element to a list during an iterating a list and have the item be in the current iteration?

Making the simple change

            iter.add(2);
            iter.previous();
          }Seems to do the trick. Looking at the previous API we see:
Returns the previous element in the list. This method may be called repeatedly to iterate through the list backwards, or intermixed with calls to next to go back and forth. ( Note that alternating calls to next and previous will return the same element repeatedly. )
add() placed the element BEFORE the next() element. Calling previous() retrieves the added element. A subsequent call to next() gets that same element as per the API doc.

Ignoring the DOCTYPE element while parsing the xml

I am using JAXB parser to read from and write into my xml file using java code. My xml file contains a DOCTYPE element pointing to a .dtd file which does not exist, due to which I get a FileNotFoundException when JAXB tries to read the xml file. Hence, after unmarshalling the xml file using jaxb, I use a SAXParser to get an XMLReader which removes this DOCTYPE element as given below -

Right now I am using both, the JAXB parser to read from and write into the xml file and SAXParser/SAXRader just to delete/add the DOCTYPE element. I want to avoid using two different parsers in my class and want to know if JAXB provides any mechanism to delete and then add this element while parsing the xml file.

Standard answer for this FAQ: set an EntityResolver on your parser that sends an empty string instead of the DTD. The API docs have an example that you could modify to do that.

If you really want two Vector elements to be stored in one array element you'll have to combine them in some way. String concatenation will do.
If you mean you'd like to copy all the Vector elements into the array, you'll have to do something like this:

We have ABAP system as backend system seperately and Single sign on is configured.
when we access the portal with domain name line http://hostname.domain/52000/irj/portal, we are able to access the adobe form which is develope on abap system without any issue.
but our issue started when we are trying to access portal only with hostname as http://hostname:52000/irj/portal
we are able to login to portal but when we are trying to open the adobe form we are getting error
No switch to HTTPS occurred, so it is not secure to send a password
Since you have configured SSL, I assume that this configuration is done with fully qualified hotsname. Hence the certificate is generated based on this hostname.
Now when you access your portal without typing fully qualified hostname, system is unable to locate a relevant certificate. Hence it lands up with a message "No switch to HTTPS occurred, so it is not secure to send a password"

results is a vector element in photoshop (vector smart object).
If I export in PDF (save as photoshop PDF) my results isn't a vector elements, the text and shape wrote in psd

There are a lot of features I would like to request, how about being able to rename a duplicate project. Anyway, thanks for the answer. I still can't send even a full project into compressor using the send to compressor button. I did find I can use the export using compressor settings, then using the advanced menu I get a send to compressor button that does actually send my project to compressor. I can then select an in and out point and render a small sellection from my timeline.

The problem doesn't seem to be related to the XI system. Have you done any configuration at receiver Webservice to convert the string data passed through XI into string array data? I think there is a mismatch in what XI sends and receiver expects.

Getting XML Elements

I am returning some XML elements(for example Figure elements) using Xpath in Javascript, which is assingned to one object in VB.net. There is no problem when i am getting(those elements) from CS5.5 Document but while i am getting from CS3 document it shows COM Object error. My code is as follows.

The code creates two paragraph styles namely Element_A_01 and Element_B_02. These two are created for the immediate child nodes of the Workbook node. Now it seems that you are trying to create pstyles for all the nodes in the XML, which in your case would still be these two as Element_A_01 has a child node that is also named Element_A_01 and the same is the case for Element_B_02.
If i get your point right then you need to create 4 pstyles if all the nodes have different names, but that is not working. For this you will have to recursively traverse each node that you get from the code xes[n].
The code be something like this
