Readind Shop properties from ShopAdmin to a Flat File
Hi,
I want to read all the properties available in shopadmin application for a shop and export to a flat file for comparison.I want to read all the shops their properties in one go and pass the same to a flat file.Can anyone please help me and let me know how to do the same ?
regards,
Hi
Most R/3 Webshop info are found in theese tables: WWM*
But I got the feeling that you are looking for the more Shopadmin information.
Theese are maintained in on the server and can be displayed/modifed here:
http://<server>:<gate>/shopadmin/shopadmin/init.do
A lot of the information here are actually stored in XML files and therefore not that easy to gather....
Best regards

Extracting data from Oracle to a flat file
I'm looking for options to extract data a table or view at a time to a text file. Short of writing the SQL to do it, are there any other ideas? I'm dealing with large volumes of data, and would like a bulk copy routine.
Thanks in advance for your help.Is there any script which i can use for pulling data from tables to a flat file and then import that data to other DB'sFlat file is adequate only from VARCHAR2, NUMBER, & DATA datatypes.
Other datatypes present a challenge within text file.

How can I download from R/3 to flat file?
Hi
My requirement is to download Material and Supplier data from R/3 to flat file...
These are the fields I have to bring it from SAP R/3 but I don not want to DOWNLOAD FM. I want to Concatenate from Internal Table and put it on application server.
There are my following fields...
Material and Supplier
1. Selection criteria
- Based on plant
- Hubs and FSL/Hubs
- Hubs can pull both Repair and NewBuy vendor
- FSL/Hubs pull only Repair vendor
2. Material EORD-MATNR
3. Region Determined by 9* plants
4. Site
1. plant-(W) and plant-(C) for FSL/Hubs
2. plant-(S) for DCs
5. Supplier
1. Menlo/Repair for DC
2. Repair only for hub/fsl
6. Supplier-type PURCHASE or REPAIR
7. Leadtime - (The number of days between placing an order and receiving an order)
8. Order Horizon 2
9. Minimum OQ 3
10. Order cost 50
11. Supplier part number EORD-MATNR
Waiting for some help and (or) sample code for this...
Thanks in advance.Here is an example program showing how to write a tab-delimited file to the application server. All you need to do is get all your data into an internal table, then loop at it, concatenate all fields into a string and then transfer that string.

Extract data from Query to a Flat File - scheduling in the background
Hi All,
We need to extract data from a query to a flat file periodically, but each time 10 separate executions based on 10 profit centers, to get the separate files.
So, we have PC1, PC2, ... PC10 Profit centeres.
We have Query1, with profit center variable.
We have created 10 variants for Query1 so that we can execute for 10 profit centers.
Now, we have used RSCRM_BAPI to execute the Query1 and write to a flat file. Now we are having a problem in getting this feature used to execute the query automatically for 10 different varaints.
Thanks in advance,
_ ShashiShashi,
You can try using Information Broadcasting or Reporting Agent. You can schedule this in Information Broadcasting.

ThanksIt seems that you are trying to use the file as your staging areas. Hyperion LKM extracts essbase data into a DB staging area which can then be used by your file IKM to load it into file.
You need to use a RDBMS for your staging area. -

Load of hierarchies from R/3 via flat file: how to generate the flat file?
Hello,
I need to build a custom extractor for a hierarchy. The hierarchy exists in R/3, but there's no standard datasource to extract it. I know I can upload it via flat file, but I have a question related to this.
Does anyone know if there's a program (standard or custom by SAP) or function module in R/3 which allows me to generate that flat file, with the required format by BW?
I would appreciate very much any help about this topic
Thanks in advanceIn CO-PA there is a way to generate Hierarchy Extractors (see Note 422175 for more details). With a Custom Program you generate a specific DataSource.
Hope it helps

PatriciaHi Patricia,
if there is, I'd love to get hold of it.
I have only ever managed this by extracting the relevant data into Excel and then doing a long series of VLOOKUPS to establish parent and child ids.
I have a sample spreadsheet I can send you if you like.

Exporting metadata from Lightroom to a flat file.
I would like to export the metadata in a lightroom database to a flat file or Excel sheet. Is this possible? I'm using lightroom on a PC.
John,
Thanks for your reply and the references to the tools. I ran the sqlLite Database Browser to look at the LR database, and to be honest it was pretty much gibberish to me. There's over 50 tables in the database and some quick browsing through them revealed data that would seem to require a knowledge of the database structure to extract. I'm a photographer with very good knowledge of how to use software tools to do my job, but I'm not a programmer and really don't have the time or the desire to become one.
My point is any good database software should have the capability to generate at least a flat file of the information contained within. In LR's case, I (and it seems others based on feature requests) would like to see a capability of exporting a CSV or tab-delimited file of the information contained in the side panels (i.e., keywords, the metadata browser, and the metadata panel for starters) on an image-by-image basis. I could then use the output in any of several other tools to do what I need.
Thanks again for your helpful links. Maybe someone can come up with a "CSV generator" using one of those tools that could be shared among LR users. -
Extract of Data from Oracle in a Flat File with Column and Record seperator
I have a case where I have to extract whole data froma Oracle Table where the Columns should be seperated by |@|
and Records by ^*^.
The reason for this is My data has Space and New line in it. So My Program to recoganize each column and record I want them to be seperated by special chars.
Itried this but of no much help.
set echo off newpage 0 space 0 pagesize 0 feed off head off trimspool on;
spool on;
set colsep '|@|';
set recsepchar '^*^';
spool "T_COMPLAINT.dat";
select * from T_COMPLAINT where ROWNUM < '100' order by cptoid;
spool off;Having '@' and '*' characters in the data will not make any difference if you are using a combined column separator of '|@|' - provided any process you use subsequently can handle it.
However, the recsepchar parameter appears to be restricted to a single character which is repeated right across the page, so I don't think you could have a single iteration of '|*|' using this method:
SQL> set newpage 0 space 0 pagesize 0 feed off head off trimspool on
SQL> set recsep EACH
SQL> set recsepchar '*'
SQL> set colsep '|@|'
SQL> select * from testa;
