Rearrange Submenus

I'm working on a music DVD with 16 tracks or chapters. When I import the movie I get 3 submenus with tracks 1-6, 7-12 and 13-16. I would like to even it out and have 4 submenus with tracks 1-4, 5-8, 9-12 and 13-16.
I can add a submenu but it's not the same layout.
I'm working with "Reflection Black". The new submenu always ends up being "Extras" and not "Scenes xx-xx".
Any ideas?

Hi Joe Wasser
Welcome to apple / idvd discussions. Haven't tried 4 submenus at a time in reflection black myself but here's what the iDVD6 Help menu states:
Creating additional DVD menus
A menu can only hold 12 buttons, so if your DVD requires more than 12 buttons, you can create submenus to hold them.
You can use submenus to organize your DVD into sections. For example, if you want viewers to be able to view scenes, extras, additional movies, or slideshows, you can create submenus to hold buttons that link to them.
To add a submenu:
Click the Add button (shown above) and choose Add Submenu from the pop-up menu.
Click the placeholder text for the new button and type a label for the button.
Double-click the new button to open the new menu.
A Back button that returns to the previous menu is added automatically. You can edit this menu just as you can any other menu.
Editing in map view
You can make changes to any slideshow or video, or to multiple project elements, from the project map. For example, you can:
Double-click a slideshow icon to open the slideshow editor.
Double-click a movie icon to play the movie.
Click once to select an icon, then use menu commands to apply a change to it.
Drag to select more than one icon, then use menu commands to apply a change to all the selected items.
Hope the above is helpful but if not please post back.

  • How do I add mutiple horizontal submenus to one menu label.

    For Muse, how do I add mutiple horizontal submenus to one menu label. In other words, I have Interior,Graphic and Web as one menu. Under Interior I want a horizontal submenu with Kitchens, bathrooms, closets,etc. Then under Kitchens I may want Bars, Islands and pantries.. Windows 7.

    In plan view drag all of the pages you want in a submenu under the page you have set for the top level menu. So in your situation you would want kitchens, bathrooms, clostets etc under the interior page in plan view.

  • Datagrid rearranging columns?

    I'm having a problem. This code i have written will import
    the XML but it rearranges the fields when i do this:
    "for (var subKey:String in data[0])"
    All of the fields come through but the subKey order is not in
    the order of the actual XML. Is there any way to get the
    "$ColumnNames[$w]" var from php over to flex in the same order?
    I don't know if i just reinvented the wheel, but it was
    definitely a good learning experience.
    MXML is first then PHP is second. Some of the code is copied
    off other examples. I didn't see any copyrights but let me know if
    there are any problems. O and the error thing doesn't work on the
    PHP page.

    I am look for a solution to a similar problem.
    I've got this nice little .fla that displays a DataGrid component (Flash CS3 Professional) using a DataProvider created from XML loaded from URLRequest/URLLoader (.asp source, but could be PHP, etc.).
    It works great except for one little annoying item.  The order of the columns seems to be totally arbitrary.
    I was expecting the order of the column to be the same as they occur in the XML DATA element.
    Here is a sample DATA element (there are serveral such DATA elements in the XML:
    <DATA>
      <AreaID>TNV</AreaID>
      <AreaName>TN, VA</AreaName>
      <MaxDvrHT>4</MaxDvrHT>
      <BoardName>TN, VA</BoardName>
      <RegionName>SOUTHEAST</RegionName>
      <salesGroup>David</salesGroup>
    </DATA>
    Here is the function that builds DataGrid:
    function returnAJAXcallback(evtObj:Event):void{
    // executed by URLLoader event listener "complete"
    // load the XML returned from .asp into XML object
    var myXML:XML = XML(evtObj.target.data);
    // create a data provider from the XML
    var myDP = new DataProvider(myXML);
    // create a DataGrid
    var myDataGrid:DataGrid = new DataGrid;
    // set the data provider
    myDataGrid.dataProvider=myDP;
    myDataGrid.width = 900;
    myDataGrid.height = 500;
    // show DataGrid on stage
    addChild(myDataGrid);
    for each (var child:XML in myXML.DATA) {
      trace(child) ;  // list each DATA segment
    Here is the order that the columns appear in the DataGrid (left to right):
    AreaName
    RegionName
    salesGroup
    AreaID
    MaxDvrHT
    BoardName
    So, how in the world does Flash come up with this order?
    Why not default to the order in which the columns appear in the XML?
    Now, if some nice person knows the answer (I'm pretty new to Flash), what do I need to do (with as little code as possible) to get the columns ordered in a similar fashion to the order in which the XML data elements appear?
    Thanks to all.

  • When I sync my ipod to add new material, sometimes itunes will automatically rearrange the song order of my pre-existing albums by number of plays. Why does it do this? And is there a way to stop it?

    When I add an album to itunes and subsequently to my ipod, everything is arranged by track number of the album. Sometimes when I sync in order to add new material to my ipod, itunes for some reason automatically rearranges some of my pre-existing material by songs with the greatest number of plays to least (though sometimes it seems to be completely random). When I check itunes on my computer, everything still appears to be in order but the way it appears on the device often is in the previously mentioned disorder. Why does it do this? Is there any setting that I can adjust to make it stop because the only way I've found so far is to delete the rearranged material and re-import the cd and then re-sync. It might sound picky, but I prefer that my music be in order by track number as the artists themselves intended for various reasons the foremost being that I often listen to whole albums from start to finish and this glitch makes such problematic. I have found some settings in preferences that focus on how material is arranged but this seemed to be focused on the actual folders where the music is located on my hard drive and not the way it appears on the ipod. If anyone knows the reason it does this or has suggestions on fixing it, I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks.

    Did the original songs that do not appear on the car player play in the Music app on the iPod? Sometimes glitches happen and they do not. Also, If y ohave a 5G iPod/iOS 7, purchase songs  will show with an cloud icon by them if they are not downloaded if Shall All is turned on in Settings>iTunes and App Store

  • Having downloaded and installed the latest Maverick Ios I now have a problem with mail.All my mailboxes were in alphabetical order now they are arrange randomly under my mail account, sync does not rearrange them whilst the order in the ISP account is in

    I have downloaded Maverick 10.9 and installed , now my mailboxes in mail are randomly arranged as opossed to being in alphebetical order from A at the top to Z at the bottom how do you rearrenge the mailboxes in an alphbetical order.
    Sync with my provider Gmail does not rearrange them on my Imac

    Thanks for that .
    My actual problem I may not have made very clear - sorry.
    i.e.
    [email protected]
    AA insurance
    Xero
    apple
    building
    insurance
    etc.
    Shows the way the mailboxes are listed in the mail program under any particular provider, in my case I have three mail provider accounts with mail moved from the inbox to the appropraite mailbox eg [email protected] , Xero - where the incomeing mail is filed.
    My problem is to arrange these mailboxes/folders in an alphabetical order under the [email protected] account

  • Why do my bookmarks rearrange themselves every time I start Firefox 3.6?

    I recently installed Windows 7 on this computer and upgraded to Firefox 3.6. I used Fierfox Sync to import my old links, and right away I noticed that the order of my list of links changes every time I open Firefox. Thinking it had something to do with Firefox Sync, I uninstalled the addon, but the problem persists. It's not exactly crippling, but it's enough of an annoyance that I'm ready to switch to another browser. What's going on?
    Here are a few additional observations:
    * It doesn't appear that Firefox is trying to arrange the list by alphabetic or numeric order. Every time I open the program, the list appears in a completely different order.
    * It also doesn't appear that Firefox is trying to arrange them in order of "most visited" or "most recently visited". There's at least one site that I have visited only once or twice that keeps creeping up the list. While sites I visit several times a day seem to move around at random.
    * Links in folders (and folders within other folders) seem to be unaffected. Although the top-level folders do move around the list.
    * When I try to rearrange my list, the space between the first and second items on the Bookmarks Menu is untouchable. I cannot place links, folders or seperators there. But I can move the first and second items to other places on the list, and I can place items just above or just below them.
    * I also occasionally have trouble placing links in other spots on the list. When I drag them to a location and release them, they appear 2, 3 or 4 spots below where I expect them to appear. It feels like Firefox is trying to force them into a specific order, but it's not based on their names, addresses or frequency of use.
    * Items at the top of the list move around a lot more than items at the bottom. I have a few links that I keep at the bottom of my list "just in case" I need to visit an old business site. And they have been unaffected by this problem.
    * I have the same problem with my Bookmarks Toolbar list and my Bookmarks Menu List. Fortunately links haven't jumped from one list to another.

    MikeClark - removing Viewpoint Media Player did the trick for me too. Thank you.

  • Photos being duplicated and rearranged

    There are two issues I've been having with iWeb in regards to photos. The first is that whenever I make a slideshow it looks fine in iWeb, and it even works when I open up the index.html file in Safari, but it doesn't work when I actually upload my site to my host server.
    So, since I couldn't get the slideshow to work, I decided to just build a more stripped down photo gallery. All it is is a bunch of images on an otherwise blank page, nothing fancy. Again, it looks fine in iWeb and in Safari, but as soon as I upload it to my host server it ends up rearranging and duplicating images so that not all of my images are there, and some of them are in places they definitely shouldn't be.
    I'm using iWeb 08, and I use Fetch to upload my pages to a GeoCities website.
    This is my website:
    http://darkfan.com/PhotoGallery.html
    As you can see near the bottom, one photo is duplicated and two are missing and have been replaced with images I created for the "photo gallery" and "home" links.
    Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Many people have fixed this by connecting their phone, then disconnecting it and re-connecting it again. Odd I know, but they report it works.

  • I use an iMac (27" 3.4) and have problems with the Magic Mouse. It does not use contact, but opens useless and unrelated submenus with every click, even on the empty desktop. I can't shift, open or close pages. Has anyone out there the same problem?

    I use an iMac 27" (mid 2011). Until recently I had OSX 10.6.8 installed, but both, the HDD and SSD had to be replaced, and I lost all the memory.
    After the repair through Apple Care I had OSX 10.7.5. (Lion) installed, which developed a Magic Mouse problem.
    Unlike with most users, I have no problems with connection, but grapple with a different kind of erratic behaviour.
    All fancy stuff is turned off in the mouse preferences. When I try to move, open or close pages, unrelated submenus pop up and hinder the
    required task. No matter how often I click, these menus stay there, and they even come up when clicking on the bare desktop.
    It renders the mouse absolutely useless, as no work can be done with it.
    The first 'Magic Mouse' had depleted batteries every few days, despite switching it off after use.
    I was supplied a new Mouse, which does better battery-wise, but the problems are the same. I can't get a result by clicking on any link, due to
    the pop-up menus, so both 'Magic Mice' are totally useless.
    At present I am using the old USB mouse from my Mac Pro, and that works still o.k.
    The problem are not the mice, but the software. The first 2 weeks after installation of OSX 10.7.5 the Magic Mouse worked though.
    I have no idea as to what the reason may be.
    Has anyone in the community ever experienced that particular problem. Any hint would be welcomed.
    Thank you!

    Not using any mouse pad, I have a very smooth desktop. But I just tried to use a sheet of A4 printing paper, but no result, the problem persisted.
    Someone on this forum suggested, that USB3 may interfere with the magic mouse.
    I have 2 LaCie HDD's about 70 cm away from the mouse, I use them on Thunderbolt. But in operation or not - the result is the same, the mouse plays up! Just now I was clicking the desktop and the mouse created a new folder!!
    Thanks for the advice, Bee
    Cheers, Gerd

    SpryMenuBar.js
    This file handles the JavaScript for Spry Menu Bar.  You should have no need
    to edit this file.  Some highlights of the MenuBar object is that timers are
    used to keep submenus from showing up until the user has hovered over the parent
    menu item for some time, as well as a timer for when they leave a submenu to keep
    showing that submenu until the timer fires.

  • How to rearrange key figures for every row in a report

    Hi gurus,
    I need help in rearranging the key figures values( product sales for A, B, and C ) in the columns for each sales division row D1,D2,D3 displaying keyfigures in the order of descending sales volume for each division. The order of key figures has to change for each row.
    Is it possible through some user exits? Your help is appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    I am extremely sorry for my earlier post. I am not too sure about that. I heard that we can do RRI on Infoobject.
    Please look for other experts inputs. I apologise for that.

  • I am working on a file I created in Indesign CC 2014 and when I try to rearrange pages in the Pages menu or try to package the file, I get the spinning wheel for 20 mins. then it crashes. What should I do?

    Can anyone help? I started a 24 page document in Indesign CC 2014 and have been using the file off of a dropbox acct on my two machines (desktop and macbook pro). I need to rearrange some of the pages but when I try to drag and drop the pages in the Pages menu, I get the ominous spinning wheel...for about 20 mins at times. then It will just crash. The document doesn't have a tone of images. I've also tried to collect and package the file but get the same thing.
    What should I do?? Help!

    try the script at Adobe Community: InDesign 6 is crashing when attempting to open a particular document. All others are opening OK.
    I'd also try moving the pages to a new file, though I suspect that will crash too. Divide and conquer might work -- tray one of your operations on half the document at a time, then repeat by dividing any piece that fails, and so on, until you isolate a page, then use the same method to isolate an object (though it's possible you have a corrupt page).

  • TS3048 Is there a way to "calibrate" the magic mouse? I have rearranged settings for mouse, air-cleaned, tried different surfaces, however, it seems to be misinterpreting finger movements and randomly trying to open launchpad when enabled.

    Is there a way to "calibrate" the magic mouse? Batteries are good. I have rearranged settings for mouse, air-cleaned, tried different surfaces, however, it seems to be misinterpreting finger movements and randomly trying to open launchpad when enabled-flashing between the app I am in and launchpad. When right-click is enabled I have to go to the extreme upper left of mousepad to click or it is interpreted as right-click. Won't consistently "scroll". Suggestions?

  • Help! The new Pages. I can't copy an entire page or rearrange the pages. In the new formatt also when I insert a new page when using a template it doesn't give me the formatting and guides.  Can anyone help.

    I can't copy an entire page or rearrange the pages. I use this feature a lot, particularly at this time of year. Can't seen to rmove the header and footer markers either.
    Can anyone help or do I need to revert back to pages 09?
    If I do re-install 09 will I be able to open the files that where converted to the new version?
    I don't like this new one. Many of the graphics features have been removed.  Not impressed at all. Very frustrated.
    The business card templates and others behave strangly.  If I insert a page it's blank only. I don't get the guides.  I was in the middle of a design project and had to start again from scratch as it threw everything out of alignment  and I can't copy an entire page. When I use select all, group then copy when I pasted it on the new page it overlayed all the cards in the top two segments.  Frustrating !  I ended up  saving my first page under a different name that was the only way to copy the page then I had to work between three documents instead of one.
    I went in today to last years Christmas tag file and the same issues I can't copy a page. I can't rearrange the pages.
    Simple features like colour choice and transperency for shapes are gone. I want to use my colour choices not someone else.
    Sorry, I am ranting.
    For now all I need is to be able to copy and switch pages around in one document.
    Please Help! I am about to start pulling my hair out in frustration.

        Yes, I am using 09 with out issues.  Just have to remember to use "open with 09" or open pages 09 first then my document.
      I create some amazing cards and posters with 09 that when on a PC I would have to use both Word and Publisher to create.  Flipping back and forth.
      Apple if you're  listening please, give us back our layout options and even add a few more design options like beveled and 3D text.

  • How can I rearrange songs within an album in the main library?

    I have a book on tape that keeps loading out of order. I want to make each chapter a a separate album. Everything works but I can't get the tracks to load in order. Using a playlist would allow me to rearrange but then I can't divide it up into albums. Any suggestions?
    (Basically I need to make a permanent change to the order of songs in the main library without using a certain criteria like date,track,album, ect. Click and drag is not working either)

    Hi fuzzer,
    Have you used the Info (CTRL-I) function? You can edit all track info there, including track number. Sounds like it would do what you're looking for.
