Rec JDBC - data not inserted to DB
Hi,
In Proxy to JDBC scenario, data is not inserted to DB (Sqlserver).
From proxy, xi could able to get data; in moni it is showing success flag. But data is not inserted to DB. Connectivity is there from XI to DB.
We are using SP to insert the data.
When checking in Message monitoring, it is showing as success but when checking in CC monitoring, the channel status is showing as Functioning. No other data is provided.
Please share your ideas where it went wrong.
Regards,
Anil.
Hi
Ur target structure should be like this for SP - Is it the same?
/people/siva.maranani/blog/2005/05/21/jdbc-stored-procedures
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2004/helpdata/en/d2/bab440c97f3716e10000000a155106/frameset.htm
Use asinput and type
Instead of SP u can directly use the INSERT action and table name which will also serve the same purpose.

Hi all ;
when tryiing to call a stored procedure from java session bean ,i am getting this error message:
[BEA][Oracle JDBC Driver][Oracle]ORA-20000: Records are not inserted into the stagging table
ORA-06512: at "APPS3_MTNAOL.MTN_INV_MANAGER", line 2529
ORA-06512: at line 1
but when i am calling the same stored procedure from sql developper for test ,with the same input data, it is working fine. what can be the issue?ORA-20000 is a user-defined Error in the database. Please check with whoever developed the code within your organization on what that means.
but when i am calling the same stored procedure from sql developper for test ,with the same input data, it is working fine. what can be the issue?Obviously, you are not able to recreate the error from 'sql developer'.

2lis_11_VAITM not inserting all data in ODS
Hello Gurus.
I'm using extractor 2lis_11_VAITM, when I test the extractor in RSA3, it is bringing me all registers of table VBAP, but when I load this extractor into an ODS in BW, It is not inserting all registers into the cube, some "return orders" are missing, how can i solved this problem ???? I'm using in ODS key Doc number and position.
THANKS IN ADVANCED.Hi Sudheer, ther is no selections during data load, and also ther isn't any routine(either in transfer or update rules). It's supposed that all registers have to be loaded to the ODS no ?? because i'm using key Doc number and positions, so I want all documents with all positions to be loaded, but this is not happening, there are missing the "'return orders'".
Any other idea of why this is happening ?? -
In new iPad 4g, when sim card is not inserted, I can not find the enable 4g tap in the setting-cellular data tap, can some one please tell me if this is normal and if so, then when it appears, thanks
If the SIM is out of your phone, find my phone needs a data connection, so could use wifi - IF in range of a wifi and one that it can join (ie. a known network or one that is wholly open so no login required). Your phone could also simple be turned off, so not findable, or it may have been restored (plugged into iTunes and restored as new) again, making it permanently unfindable. Honestly, for someone stealing an iPhone, this is likely the first thing they do - restore as new and it is theirs forever.
Find my iPhone is tied to the users iCloud account - the find function is part of the iCloud account's services and it communicates with the iCloud servers over a data connection - either wifi or 3G.
Have you set up your iCloud account on your replacement phone, and is it working properly on that phone? -

RKYou need to check your datasource name jdbc/AIADataSource
Check out your data-sources.xml to make sure you didn't mistype it. -
Is there any tool to check whether the proper data is inserting or not?
Hi,
We have different products A,B and C.
whenever user crates an account under these products some X,Y,Z table gets updated.
If user1 creates an account under A then X, Y, Z tables update with some data along with some ID
If user2 creates an account under A then X, Y, Z tables update with SAME DATA along with some other ID
Is there any tool to check whether the proper data is inserting (same data is inserting every time) or not?
p.s : if this thread is not related to this forum .. where can I post?
Thanks,
PraveenIs there any tool to check whether the proper data is inserting (same data is inserting every time) or not?You need to check the code to see that. Is the update or insert on the table has from different places? In that case it would be better to have them moved to a centralized place may be a package.
If you want to restrict the columns to specific values then you can use constraints. -
Hi all,
I did File to RFC scenario. My problem is when i send message the message is showen as processed successfully in SXMB_MONI. But RFC is not inserting my data in a specified table. I couldn't found where i am wrong.
my sender strucure is:
<MANDT>
<WORKDATE>
<EMPLOYEENUMBER>
<CATSHOURS>
R3 table name is ZTESTCATSDB
My RFC source code is :
FUNCTION Z_POST_TEST.
""Local Interface:
*" TABLES
*" CATSRECORDS_IN STRUCTURE ZTESTCATSDB OPTIONAL
*" RETURN STRUCTURE BAPIRET2 OPTIONAL
data wa_cats like ZTESTCATSDB.
data wa_catdb like ZTESTCATSDB.
data ztab like ZTESTCATSDB OCCURS 0 WITH HEADER LINE.
loop at catsrecords_in into wa_cats.
ztab-WORKDATE = wa_cats-workdate.
ztab-empnum = wa_cats-empnum.
ztab-catshours = wa_cats-catshours.
append ztab.
endloop.
insert ZTESTCATSDB from table ztab.
commit work.
ENDFUNCTION.
Plese tell me any one where i am wrong it is very urgent for me.
Thanks,
Satish.You should always check the system return code (sy-subrc) after any insert and update statement like this:
insert ...
if sy-subrc > 0.
message E...
else.
commit work.
endif.
Hope that helps,

Could not insert Data in to the table
hello friends
I have some pbm in inserting values in to sqlserver database table.I could not insert values to the
table having varchar datatype fields.partyType is a field name of varchar type.when i try to insert
"LCL" for that field it throws following exception.
java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]The name 'LCL'
is not permitted in this context. Only constants, expressions, or variables allowed here. Column
names are not permitted.
sometime it throws
java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Optional feature not
implemented
If i give only numeric values to those fields it accepts.ie table accepts only integer values for all the fields.I use prepared statement for inserting data.I am inserting data to 4 tables at a time.I use ODBC driver.can u tell me where would be the problem??</p>

ssniazi does nothing but ask for contact information or recommend Oracle products.
Based on this I consider it likely that this person is some sort of sales representative either directly or indirectly associated with Oracle.
I personally wouldn't provide any contact information to this person. Nor would I accept any advice until this person starts to actually provide some solutions or at least correctly reveals any financial interests that they might have.
In addition I believe ssniazi is in violation of the conduct code of this website because ssniazi is requesting information which will be used by a business entity without telling the users that it will be used in that way. And I expect that Oracle itself would frown on such activities.

JDBC Driver not found when connecting to Data Federator XI 3.0 SP3
Hello,
I am trying to connect Crystal 2008 to Data Federator however I am getting the Error
Failed to open connection.
Details: JDBC Driver not found.
The JDBC Drivers are installed and working for the Universe Designer, however I am unable to get it working for Crystal. I am using the following connection parameters on Crystal:
Connection URL: jdbc:datafederator://<<servername>>:3055/<<catalog>>
Database Classname: com.businessobjects.datafederator.jdbc.DataFederatorDriver
Any Advice on what I may have missed?The issue was solved, thanks to Patric Wan:
u201CFailed to open the connection. Details: JDBC driver not found.u201D
This means Data Federator JDBC driver was not added to:
C:\Program Files\Business Objects\common\<version>\java\CRConfig.xml
How to connect the Data Federator Server using JDBC?
1. Retrieve the following files from the machine where Data Federator is installed, from the directory [data-federator-installation-dir]/JdbcDriver/lib.
- thindriver.jar
- avalon-framework-4.1.5.jar
- jacorb.jar
- log4j-1.2.8.jar
- logkit-1.2.jar
2. Copy these files to a directory of your choice ([your-jdbc-driverdirectory]).
3. Add [your-jdbc-driver-directory]/thindriver.jar to CRConfig.xml <Add to Classpath tag, you can refer to original sample.CRConfig.xml should be at: C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Common\4.0\java\CRConfig.xml, or search your BOBJ products install to find this file>

File to RFC problem- data is not inserting into ztable in R3 system
Hi
i have done File to RFC scenario which picks data from flat file and inserts into ztable via RFC in R3. but while testing my scenario everything is successful in XI monitoring (Successful flag in MONI and RWB) and in auditlog message status is DLVD.
it seems to be everything successful in XI and RFC call also successful in R3 system.
but for some reason data is not inserting into table (RFC is used to insert data into ztable)
Is there any way to debug RFC call excecution in XI..?
RFC code is like this:
insert ZMM_AUTO_GR from INPUT_TABLE.
commit work.
END FUNCTION.
please advice what could be the reason not inserting into table.
Help would be appreciated.

You must indicate the "specified" attribute in order to inset or update any field that is not string type.
For example, I guess that your program do something like:
obj.date=%%date expression%%
but you must do also:
obj.date_specified=true
That is for any field like number, date, boolean, etc...that is not a string.
Hope it helps.
Kim.
