I am not getting receiver id
This is my atom struture it's added receiver variable in atom1. i am using sap b1 9.1 patch level 3. The xform atom added before add in Sql atom
This is my packge design. xform atom1 and sql call atom2

Check the description of MessageId.

If new messages result from a message (the message is copied at multiple receivers), the new messages get new message IDs.

Re: my security software: I use Windows Firewall and Microsoft Security Essentials (also Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, if that helps).
I've now tried the above link's instructions for configuring Windows Firewall to allow Firefox access. It may have helped slightly with the error (which seems to be happening a bit less often); however, the primitive-looking-web-page problem is if anything worse, pages are INCREDIBLY slow to load, and the error remains frequent (can't tell if this possible respite is just temporary, or even mere wishful thinking on my part). In any case, though, my original problem hasn't been solved yet.

• SOAP Receiver Adapter problem (client certificate required)

My Scenario is similar to described in https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/3721. [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] I have two PI servers running on one machine. I am trying to post message HTTPS with Client authentication via SOAP adapter from one PI system to SOAP adapter of other PI server. I have done the following configuration.
PI Server AXD - (Client) - Receiver SOAP adapter
PI Server AXQ - (Server) - Sender SOAP Adapter.
Steps in AXD
1. I have created a certificate of AXD in the service_ssl view of key storage.
2. I have imported the AXQ public certificate in to AXD in the TrustedCAs of Key storage
Steps in AXQ
1. I have created a certificate of AXQ in the service_ssl view of key storage.
2. I have imported the AXD public certificate in to AXQ in the TrustedCAs of Key storage.
3. I have created a user in AXQ and assigned the certificate of AXD under usermangement in Security provider to this user.
4. I have added the AXD certificate under Client Authentication tab with require client certificate option checked in the SSL Provider.
5. I have assigned the user created in AXQ in the step above to the Sender Agreement.
Now when I post message from AXD with Configure Client Authentication checked (Here I have selected the certificate of AXD and view as service_ssl) I am getting the following error.
Exception caught by adapter framework: SOAP: response message contains an error XIServer/UNKNOWN/ADAPTER.JAVA_EXCEPTION - java.security.AccessControlException: client certificate required at com.sap.aii.af.mp.soap.ejb.XISOAPAdapterBean.process(XISOAPAdapterBean.java:884) at com.sap.aii.af.mp.module.ModuleLocalLocalObjectImpl0_3
Any pointer to solve this problem is highly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Hemant,
I have couple of questions. Why do we need to import certificate for SOAP WS-Security and from where I can get it?
As far as my scenario goes I am not using message level security.
Secondly what do you mean by TRUSTED/WebServiceSecurity? I don't see any such view inside the Key Storage. I can see a view named just WebServiceSecuity though.
Also I don't have a decentralized adapter installation rather I have two separate PI instances having their own central adapter engine.

• SOAP Receiver Adapter problem

Hi guys,
I have problem with ABAP Proxy->XI->SOAP scenario. I send data from R/3 via Proxy. I see in the monitor, that message has been processed successfully, however, the SOAP adapter does not send this message to the target. I tried to run a listener on on my local machine on port 80 and sent data from SAP. Again, in monitor successful, but no action in the listener - the message did not arrive. (the adapter was set up to send data to ma local PC). The scenario is async.
Any idea, what could be wrong?
In the receiver SOAP adapter - hoe to set up Target URL? http://<machine>:<port> or w/o port and it is automatically sent to port 80?
Thanx for answers!
Olain.

Hi guys, thanx for answers..
All the systems are in the local network, so no proxy is there. However, in the communication channel monitoring I get error: connection timed out , can be due to invalid adress.. However, If i try to reach the WS from the SOAPui tool, this web service works...
Any other idea?

hi,
When you have used the WSDL wizard in the Integration Directory and have clicked on "Propose URL" in the second screen, did you ever wonder, why the URL does not point to a sender SOAP adapter channel, it is the URL of the Integration Server instead?
When you want to use the inbound channel of the Integration Server, you have to use following URL for the web service client:
http://<server>:<ABAP-port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry&version=3.0&Sender.Service=<YourService>&Interface=<YourNamespace>%5E<YourInterface>
The namespace must be written with escaped characters. (%5E stands for "^")
Note: The WSDL wizard creates an address with the escape sequence & instead of &. Some SOAP clients (for example XPLSpy) do not automatically restore the character and you have to do this manually.
By default the SOAP call is treated as a synchronous call. If you want an asynchronous call, you have to add &QualityOfService=ExactlyOnce to the URL.
Additionally your web service client must provide the HTTP header parameter "SOAP action" = http://sap.com/xi/WebService/soap1.1
The Web Service Wizard of the Integration Repository creates a WSDL concerning this URL and this SOAP action automatically. Only for asynchronous calls you need to change the URL inside the WSDL file with an editor and add &QualityOfService=ExactlyOnce.
Advantage
When you send SOAP messages directly to the Integration Server, you reduce the message load on the adapter engine. This can improve the performance.
Restrictions
The SOAP inbound channel of the Integration Server does not support attachments. SOAP messages with content type "multipart" are rejected.
Hint
For testing purpose it is possible to add logon data directly to the URL. The parameters are the same as in the HTTP sender adapter: &sap-user=<username>&sap-password=<password>

• Receiver Agreement problem in XI

Hi,
The problem is that when the idoc calls adapter in XI, the following error message is thrown(Display XML Message Versions- window, SOAP Header):
com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.ConfigException: ConfigException in XI protocol handler. Failed to determine a receiver agreement for the given message. Root cause: com.sap.aii.af.service.cpa.impl.exception.CPALookupException: Couldn't retrieve outbound binding for the given P/S/A values: FP=;TP=;FS=our_sender;TS=our_receiver;AN=WorkCenterMasterData;ANS=our_namespace
I have checked that the Receiver Agreements are configured right, there should not be problem with that. So what could be the problem? We just updated our XI to SP19, could this affect to idoc processing?

Hi,
I have got a couple of times that Receiver agreement not found even though I have receiver agreement. Also I have done some dummy changes and tried out. Also I have stopped and started the receiver communication channel. But it have not worked. Then I have started and stopped the File Adapter but that doesnot worked. I have done all the cache refreshes but the issue is not resolved.
Then finally just restarted the machine and it worked fine. So there are some caches which is not refreshing when we do the cache refreshes. They are only refereshing when we reboot. Can you also try all these steps and if you dont get success then try to bounce the system and check.

• Receiving attachment problems in Mail.app

I'm having a problem with attachments being received by Mail.app (version 3.3 on 10.5.4). Basically, the messages show that attachments are associated with the message, but they have zero size. I'm connecting to an IMAP server over SSL (uw-imapd on Debian). If I use Thunderbird on the same iMac the attachments are there just fine. This seems to be related to people sending mail from AOL.
Any suggestions on where I should look for a solution to the problem?

The icons are there at the bottom of the message. On mouse over they say "Not yet Downloaded". If I control-click the icon and select "Quick look" I get:
"Mail was unable to save the attachment “CIMG7512.JPG” to disk. Please verify your downloads folder exists and is writable."
Control-click/open results in nothing.
Attachments from other messages work fine, so the download folder exists and is writable.
There are 3 attachments. Header on first is:

• JMS Receiver FCC Problem After Upgraded from SP19 to SP22 in XI3.0

Hello,
I am facing a problem in my Receiver JMS adapter in FCC just after the upgrading it from SP19 to SP22 in XI 3.0 by our basis consultant. Before that everything was working perfect in DEV.
I am getting the below mentioned error in CC monitoring.
> MP: Exception caught with cause com.sap.aii.messaging.adapter.trans.TransformException: Error converting Message: 'java.lang.Exception: Exception in XML Parser (format problem?):'java.lang.NullPointerException''; nested exception caused by: java.lang.Exception: Exception in XML Parser (format problem?):'java.lang.NullPointerException'
This problem is happening in other scenario too in our DEV system.
But at the same time since we have not applied any upgrade in QA therefore same scenario is working fine.
Regards,
Sarvesh

Ok Friends...
I got the solution from SAP.. there was a problem in the SP22 for XI 3.0 which I donloaded from Service Market Place. Now I have applied the correct SP22 to my system and now it is working fine...
I hope this may help you...

• RFC Receiver Adapter (Problem)

Hi All,
I have configured RFC Receiver Adapter : Here i have imported a Z FM for example
"" Z_API_DOCUMENT_CREATE_TEST "" having below import paramaters:
LF_DOCNUMBER TYPE BAPI_DOC_DRAW-DOCUMENTNUMBER
IV_PF_HTTP_DEST TYPE RFCDES-RFCDEST
IV_PF_FTP_DEST TYPE RFCDES-RFCDEST
LF_FILENAME TYPE BAPI_DOC_DRAW-DOCUMENTNUMBER
1) Now i use MM to fill in two parameters : LF_DOCNUMBER , LF_FILENAME
If my FIle is of kind : test55.pdf     --> LF_DOCNUMBER  = test55
LF_FILENAME       = test55.pdf
For this i have checked in Sender File Adapter "Adapter Specific Message Attributes"
So i write UDF to capture Filename and Filename with extension to fill above shown parameters.
Now i saw target xml after mapping in CC monitor of RWB is as below
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
- <ns0:Z_API_DOCUMENT_CREATE_TEST xmlns:ns0="urn:sap-com:document:sap:rfc:functions">
<IV_PF_FTP_DEST>SAPFTPA</IV_PF_FTP_DEST>
<IV_PF_HTTP_DEST>SAPHTTPA</IV_PF_HTTP_DEST>
<LF_DOCNUMBER>xierror</LF_DOCNUMBER>
<LF_FILENAME>xierror.doc</LF_FILENAME>
</ns0:Z_API_DOCUMENT_CREATE_TEST>
But LF_FILENAME is getting populated to my Z FM at runtime but LF_DOCNUMBER works fine filling up with value.
But when i run the FM using F8 it works , what could be the problem.
Any advice
regards
Srinivas

Hi,
The problem is with the Data types used for LF_DOCNUMBER.
Make this as Char or Numeric in FM and then try. If its of any packed values then conversion will create the problem
Thanks

• JDBC receiver - Update problem

Hi,
Scenario: JDBC - RFC - JDBC scenario.
1. JDBC to RFC part-
A select statement from the JDBC sender, is mapped to the RFC in the ECC system)
2. RFC response is then mapped to an Update query using a receiver JDBC adapter.
(Please note: Only the RFC is synchronous. JDBC adpter is configured to be aynchronous here.)
3. The scenario is working fine, with regard to XI (All chequered flags.)
Problem: The DB does not get updated.
The response we get from the DB has <update_count> of 0
4. The same query, (taken from XI's audit log) and executed in the DB executes fine.
5. We are using the same user id, to update the table through XI(in the communication channel) and while executing the query manually.
Hence a user permission problem, could be ruled out.
6. DB used is Oracle 8i.
Any hints on what the problem might be?
Thanks,
Smitha.

Hi,
>>>>3. The scenario is working fine, with regard to XI (All chequered flags.)
Problem: The DB does not get updated.
The response we get from the DB has <update_count> of 0
I guess the easiest way to identify this issue would be to check the DB log in this operation
(not adapter log on XI)
then you will know exactly what is getting executed by the adapter and why it fails

• Mail received date problem

Hi,
I am using JSMTP for sending mails. My problem is that the date/time which i see in email is behind the date when i sent the mail from application. Why there is such a date/time lag. Is the problem is of SMTP server or the mail server.
Regards,
R S

If there's really a delay, then this can have many reasons, and it might not at all be a problem with your application. A friend's office occasionally has single outgoing emails delayed by several hours, up to two days. The admins there guess it's some firewall issue (yeah, right, it's always the firewall)...
Try to find out if the problem at the sending or the receiving end, by sending mails to and from other servers. Try to log when a mail was sent - you can verify that the mail server was instructed by your program to send it and that the sending app is not to blame.

• SOAP RECEIVER SSL Problems

Dear Community,
I have configured a SOAP Receiver to an external web service (https://server:7002/service). I have use IE to get the certificate of the server and have imported it into the keystore of the j2ee (using VA). I have imported it to the all current views available. We have SAP PI 7.0 SP18. The problem is that the SSL handshaking is not performed correctly. I have placed a tcp gateway monitor tool to see the messages pass through. As soon as the first message is send to the above URL and a response is received, I get a XIAdapter/HTTP/ADAPTER.HTTP_EXCEPTION - HTTP 500 Internal Server Error. Also, in the default trace log I get a no private key found.... Do I need extra steps to configure SSL in the SOAP Receiver? The service does not required a Client authentication certificate and has a certificate with o CA root certificate (since this is only a test system and has issued its own certificate). Any ideas? Any help will be appreciated.
Regards,
S.Socratous

Hello,
Generally it's a connectivity behaviour. Check if you have setup the connection to
the receiver and also check the explanation regarding 500 Internal Server Errors:
*Description: The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
Possible Tips: Have a look into SAP Notes u2013 804124, 807000*
It may be also a problem with the SSL certificate. So, check if it's not expired;
The correct server certificate may be not present in the TrustedCA keystore view of NWA .
Please ensure you have done all the steps described in these url (this is for 7.11):
Security Configuration at Message Level
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi711/helpdata/en/48/d1c7e690d75430e100000
00a42189b/frameset.htm
You may have not imported the certificate chain in the correct order (Own -> Intermediate -> Root);
Last, if the end point of the SOAP Call(Server) is configured to accept
a client certificate(mandatory), then make sure that it is configured
correctly in the SOAP channel and it is also within validity period.
(This certificate is the one which is sent to Server for Client
authentication)
Hope that helps.
With regards,

• Received MMS problem on E71

Hi there
I've been using a Nokia E71 for the last 5months, it has the latest firmware updates, and recently I've come across with a problem, when anybody sends me an MMS, the picture I receive with the mms is always in small size (something like 128x240...<10kb) I can send mms fine, up to 200-300kb, and other people receive them in original size.
The problem is that when receiving MMS the phone seems to reduce them to small size, My MMS definitions are Large (also tried Original size). I've reinstalled MMS definitions from the Network carrier (TMN) and even re-seted the phone (using *#7370#) but it's the same.
Am I missing any thing here, any kind of configuration change I haven't remebered? Can you help me?
Thank you very much
