Hi everyone i have a 30gb ipod video. I have an invisable shield on my ipod and the last case that i had, that had a plastic protector over the click wheel and screen, ruined my shield. They got stuck together. So right now i am looking for a case that is well made and does not have anythiing over the screen and click wheel. I was looking at vaja cases (kinda pricy for some of them) but it looks like none of them come with a belt clip or a armband. I really need something that is versitle... Thanks so much in advance...

I'm planning on getting a Video iPod soon as well as the invisible shield and was wondering if you ever found the "perfect case" to go with it. I read some of the threads and the vaja cases are beautiful but there is a note that says it shouldn't be used with protectors. And it seems like a lot of the cases will stick or ruin the invisible shield. But I'm hoping you did find the "perfect case".

I love the Smart Cover. It fits the way I work and I love the instant on/off and the always available screen protection. I wouldn't use my iPad without it.
I got a Cover Buddy for the back, because I wanted the back to be less slippery when I'm using the iPad in the classroom, teaching. I have a Built NY "hoody" slip on case with a hard internal shell that I use when I'm in the field and I can put the iPad with the Smart Cover and the Cover Buddy inside this . But for everyday use, the Smart Cover with the Cover Buddy is a terrific combination.

Hi - the new lightning connector on the iPhone 5 has an authentication chip so very few 3rd party manufacturers have come out with compatible devices - so I doubt that you will find a frame that works for both phones - however Apple has come out with 2 apapters - one is a cable and one is a direct 30 pin to lightning device - you would have to check out each frame to see if one of these might work - I looked at the Panasonic and it looks promising but I would check the return policy of anything that you buy in a case it doesn't work.

the Wifi storage options are interesting but it seems they only allow to read files from the device on the iPad but not transfer files to the storage device via WiFi.
I'm looking for a possibility to use the iPad for photography while traveling, without the access to a computer.
Shooting photo's in RAW format crates pretty big files that will fill up the iPad's memory pretty fast if you shoot a lot during a (let's say) month long trip.
my idea was to use load the photo's to the iPad so i could view them and sort out any bad ones. then copy them over to the storage device so i can continue using my CF cards for shooting. I have an image thank for copying the photo's directly to the HDD but it would be so sweet to be able to check them on the iPad before hand.
any suggestions?

I have it, bought it at walmart, and yes, it works just fine. Nice to have an extra 6 feet or so.
then again..yes, an extension cord or power strip will work quite well too.....and leave you an extra 20 dollars or so to play iwth.

Looking for a video camera that can record sports well and is also compatible with the mac. I've been using iMovie to edit videos for a highlight reel of my highschool soccer games that I coach.

I like Sony HD MiniDV (HDV) Handycam Camcorder - HDRFX1000, but I have also used several older Sony (DCR-TRV17 and DCR-TRV70) and Canon (VIXIA HV20, VIXIA HV30, and VIXIA HV40) tape-based Firewire-equipped camcorders with good results.
I prefer tape-based Firewire-equipped cameras because of their IEEE 1394 transfer speed, compatibility with iMovie HD, and ability to serve as the source recording directly into iMovie when desired. If none of these characteristics is important to you, other Mac-compatible camcorders with suitable zoom ranges and lens speeds for the light levels you encounter should also do nicely for recording at your games.
You do not say which iMovie version you are using, but you can find about known compatible camcorders by searching for the info in a search like this one.

Unfortunately, there are no lowpass filter modules compatible with the SC-2040. One option you may want to consider is an SCXI system with an SCXI-1140 (8-Channel Simultaneous-Sampling Differential Amplifier) cascaded with an SCXI-1142 (8-Channel Bessel Lowpass Filter). In general, USB connected keyboards are not supported. However, if you do a Google search, some users have successfully connected a USB keyboard. Sometimes a USB powered hub is needed because the keyboard takes too much power. Also, some of the keyboard special keys may not work.

actually it works the other way round - addons that hook into firefox have to adapt their compatibility to work with new versions, there's not much firefox can do about that...

Sounds like you have a pretty neat cordless phone that will sync with bluetooth! I may need to look into that!
I would have to suggest you contact the manufacturer of the cordless phone to see what devices can work.
My deductive reasoning would lead me to believe the iPhone 5 isn't compatable simply because you already have paired it with 2 other devices already that worked.

i have a ton of photo negatives that i would like to scan into iphoto, but everything i have seen is only compatible with a pc. doesn't apple have something available for this? if not, make one SOON!

Most would probably work. Scanner tend to support the TWAIN interface which Mac OS suppports. You would not get any of the software on the disc.

Alright I have a blackberry curve right now because Ive been waiting for 2.0 to come out.
Now that its here, I need a little bit more time to to gather up the funds to get the phone, but I need to get a bluetooth now for work.
I'd like get a bluetooth now that I can use on my blackberry temporarily and then use it on my iPhone instead of having to fork over money twice.
Now I really want to get the dock for the iphone and I think I have seen pictures of a dock for a phone AND bluetooth?
Am I correct that this exsists?
I've seen the apple bluetooths and they dont have a ring that goes around your ear like most and I'm worried that just sticking it in my ear is not solid enough.
Normal music earphone buds dont seem to fit comfortablly in my ear, so I'd rather having something hanging from my ear as opposed to stuffed in it.
So is there a bluetooth headset with an ear ring that will plug into an apple phone dock for charging?

Not that we've heard, though I'd imagine that one will be coming eventually.
If they are, and there is a universal hook that will clip on their ear piece, I would prefer to stick with the apple gear.

I originally wrote this post to see if anyone else had come up with a solution to Apple's inability to engineer the Iphone 6 product line to be compliant with Bluetooth 4.0 that has been around for ONLY 5 years. I happen to have be a licensed Insurance Agent for over 30 years. The largest insurance companies (who pay the claims) have not been able to draw conclusions about talking and driving as the number of incidents per million miles (determines the rates charged for coverage) have not been statistically different enough to go to state insurance commissioners to ask for rate increases due to talking and driving at the same time. The states that have enacted Hands Free Laws did so for 1 reason- if a person has 2 hands free to try to avoid an accident there is a higher probability that a driver will maintain control of their own vehicle vs. 1 hand. Can we stick to the subject- Do you think that APPLE should have made the IPhone 6 Compatible with Bluetooth Headsets and why haven't they done so yet?
