Redirection WL request to OHS

Hello Experts,
I configured Oracle HTTP server which has one instance of Weblogic server, I do have below requirement:
Any direct weblogic URL request should be redirected to HTTPS url request of Oracle HTTP server (SSL is enable in OHS and Weblogic)
Any HTTP request will be automatically converted into HTTPS request (Please suggest and server side configuration)
Thank you very much
Thanks and Regards,
Rajesh Biswas

forgot to mention, add any one of below in your httpd.conf
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
RewriteRule (.*) https://%{SERVER_NAME}%{REQUEST_URI}
OR
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} !^443$
RewriteRule ^/(.*) https://%{SERVER_NAME}/$1 [L,R]

• Czn't download Calendar from cableone?? The page isn't redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request

Cannot download Calendar from cableone.net???
The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

Does this happen on just one site or does it happen more often?
First I would delete the contents of the cache and delete all current cookies and try again. If clearing does not help, I would try safe mode.
Did you try to start Firefox in the Firefox Safe Mode? If it works when in safe mode, then this problem is probably caused by a broken add-on. If the safe mode does not help, that may be an indication that the server is sending some broken headers.

Thanks to cor-el for the suggestion given in the link. Sadly I have to report:
1) It is not a bookmark problem and it makes no difference whether I put
www.adobe.com or 192.150.18.117 in the address bar.
2) Cookies are allowed and there are no exceptions set
3) All cookies have been deleted
4) network.http.sendRefererHeader is already set to 2
That deals with the items in the linked document.
Additional information:
5) I can get into the adobe site from a clean "in memory" installation of PuppyLinux using Seamonkey using the same router and dhcp setup.
6) un-installing all Mozilla products - rebooting and re-installing makes no difference even when I remove the mozilla folder from docs&settings.
so as I said in previous post (as annonymous) not a lot makes sense.
Bear in mind that I have no problem running tracert in a command window

• Append Extra Slash for Application Request through OHS

Hello All,
I am writing to request your help on the following blocking issue :
In my attempt to configure End-End SSL between Browser->OHS Plugin->SSL Weblogic Managed Server ,
Weblogic is giving me an incorrect response while constructing the absolute redirect.
What i mean is :
I am trying to excess an application deployed on an SSL Weblogic as :
https://adc2110491.us.oracle.com:12004/Calendar
But when i configure this through OHS, and then try to access the same application via URL :
https://adc2110491.us.oracle.com:4443/test/Calendar - This doesnt work !
Instead if i append an extra "Slash" in the URL, the application is accessible(This is a workaround and not an expected behavior) :
https://adc2110491.us.oracle.com:4443/test/Calendar/ - This works !
For such kind of configuration from OHS side, I enabled a property called "*WebLogic Plug-In Enabled*" from "WLS Managed Server -> General settings"
Please note that, in case When above mentioned Weblogic-Server is NOT SSL, this works fine.
This error is only in SSL case.
Also, Pasting the log file below for one such failed request :

Hello All,
I am writing to request your help on the following blocking issue :

• How can I redirect a request for testing?

There is no internet access on the development machine and I have written for testing purposes a servlet to simulate a web server that my app accesses.
However I need a program or way of redirecting a (secure and non-secure) url request to the local host.
i.e. the application calls either:
http://www.thewebsite.com/foo?bar=1
or
https://secure.thewebsite.com/foo?bar=1
which is then redirected to:
http://localhost/thewebsite/foo?bar=1
How can this be done?

Hi, thanks for the replies. I thought about that
(it's a windows machine) but there is still a couple
of problems.
1. I can't specify the sub-directory can I?No, but your webserver can prob. do that.
2. I want to handle a secure request but have it also
go to the same locationssl would have to go to ssl. But setting up ssl normally is not too hard.
