Regarding Portlet Window Size...

Hi,
Can i control the portlet window size during runtime? Is there any API that i can implement so that i get the changes in the size of the portlet window based on some condition. Based on different conditions/events, there should be changes in the portlet window size during runtime.

try messing with the presentation style in the netiox:content element
you can hard code heights, widths and set scrolling

Portlet window size changes in Webcenter

We have a custom portlet that is deployed in Webcenter in AviTrust using the Application Page Template. As we step through the screens in the portlet, the width of portlet window changes. The portlet content itself is in a div and does not specify a specific pixel width.
I'm fairly new to this but the way I understand the DIV tag, the width of the DIV tag is determined by the enclosing container. This would imply that the width of the Webcenter containers enclosing the portlet content is not fixed.
I know one can fix the size fluctuation by setting the size of the portlet after it is added to a page. Is there any other way to stop the size change without actually specifying a fixed width in pixels?
Much appreciated if anyone could comment on this behaviour in Webcenter so I can be sure of the possible fixes for this issue!

I dont like full screen mode, I prefer to keep the window at a size which is comfortabe for me to work.
From what you have said, it seems as if I cant prevent the main window from constantly changing size each tyime I select fit to screen.
I am baffled, because I have been using Phtotoshop CS4 with a window size setting which stays the same regardless of how I zoom the image/canvas. Odd isn't it?

Did you mean change the Lync: Change the Default Font and Color of Instant Messages just as Edwin said above?
If not, as I know, there is no natural way to change it.
If yes, on the latest version of Lync 2013 client, there is a new option “IM” on Lync client “Options” list. And you need to change the default Font and Color of IM in the interface of “IM”.

Window size for day, week, month

In Tiger you could have a unique window size for the day view, week view, and month view. Is this option gone with Leopard? I liked viewing my day, week, and month in different size windows just by clicking on the buttons and having it go to that view.

If you like to set the default file format of the file you Edit in Photoshop CC thorugh Lightroom then perform following steps.
Lanuch Lightroom and go to Edit> Preference(Windows) Lightroom>Peference(Mac)
Click "External Editing" tab
Change the option for "File Format" to PSD as deafult format for Edit In Adobe Photoshop CC
Click "Ok" button

Changing window size of script in Non original language

Hi Gurus,
Is there any option to change the window sizes of a script in NON ORIGINAL language. Generally it wont allow to change window sizes in NON ORIGINAL language.Is there any workaround.Please help.

It is not possible to change the window size in non-original language.. only changes of windows paragraph formats are possible in original languages...
If your form is global templet.. make sure you inform the user and on there approval do customise your form and do the respective changes..

If you change the window size of the script in the original language, it should reflect in the other languages.
Please activate the script in english once again and see the spanish form again.

As far as chaniging window size is concerned, Please edit your script in ES and then change it.Or login in ES and then edit the script.
This is not possible, because the original script is in english.

Window size of MSS Reporting IAC's

Hi experts,
Is there any way to control the window size of the MSS reporting IAC's? I'm implementing Webdynpro on EP 7.0, ECC 6.0. Right now I choose a report from the list, click Define Selection Criteria, select employees, then Report Result. The resulting window is considerable smaller, and when I maximize it, my report stays the smaller size, with scroll bars. If I click print preview it expands to full screen, but how can I get it that way to start with??

Check the parameters for service HRWPC_FC_EXEC in transaction SICF to ensure you have at least those specified in note 969401.
We have the parameters set as follows:

We had the same problem with the old MSS report launchpad in 4.6C, but since upgrading to ECC 6.0 we now use the newer webdynpro report launchpad, and although I haven't found a way to control the size of the new window, maximising the window seems to also expand the report contents.

Windows size problem when resume apps, TTA SGD E4.0

Hi,
I have a problem and can�t find the solution yet.
I open windows apps in my desktop with a 800x600 resolution, the app is
configured for independent window, clients maximun size and fill my screen
completely as suppose to do. Then I close the window app clicking the X icon
to suspend the emulator session.
When I resume a suspended emulator session or move to other workstation and
take the session over the emulator session window size is 640x480 and stick
there whatever I try to do, worst is I can�t see the full window and also
there are no scroll bars, so I can�t reach the START icon on the lower left
to close the app because the session becomes useless.
The workarround solution was set the "scale to fit" properties in 640x480
and then I can see the full window to reach the star icon and close the app
to start over, but the user complain about the small letters and slow
performance. Another clue is if I click on the maximize icon the window try
to fill up my screen and then inmediatelly go back to 640x480.

Thanks for your answer but my problem is the Linux server OS, is Red Hat AS
2.1 wich is not supported in TTA 4.10.
When I tried to make the TTA upgrade failed due library issues.
Is my problem a reported bug for TTA 4.0 ???
Can you give any other advise or workarround ??

How to reset the default window size

Hi!
I played around with the different layouts of Adobe Connect Pro and somehow got a real chaos of window sizes and window positions when changing the resolution as well. How can I reset the layout to the default layout settings (window size, window position, which window should appear)? At this moment I cannot move a windows because it's too big to move or resize it.
Is there a possibility to undo these changes?

I was wondering, if there is a way to set the default windows size of quicklook. I usually open PDF files and on my PBG4 15" the window, that is opened, is pretty small so i have to resize it to get a better look on my pdf.
I there a way? Any ideas?

I looked around and there doesn't seem to be any way to set preferences for QuickLook at all. You can't even change the keystroke that activates it, or even disable it! You might be able to find or write a plugin that gives you more in-window options specifically for PDF files, but if not, I guess we'll just have to wait for Apple to allow better customization.

window.setWindowSize(600,400);
but it needs pixels as integers (600 & 400). I am afraid that there would be resolution problem.
Can we set the window size as:
window.setWindowSize(0.25 *Parent_Window_Width,0.25 *Parent_Window_Height);

OHJ Default Window Size

I have set specific dimensions for an Oracle Help window to be displayed and have amended the *.hs file of the wintype from "False" to "True". When a context sensitive topic is launched from a Help button the OHJ window is displayed the correct size. However, when the Help is launched from the help menu the size setting is ignored and the window is displayed too large.
Any ideas how I can force the window to be displayed the correct size?

This is Julie (just using a different login). Sorry for the delay in replying. I have been reliably informed:
The difference between a button and the help menu item is thus:
For a help menu we call CSHManager.showNavigatorWindow()
For a help button we call CSHManager.showHelpForComponent(Component thisComponent)
Otherwise the code is pretty much identical, certainly nothing that looks like it would affect the use of the default window size.
