In receiver structure, in header, i have to generate filename,linecount,and total sum of the messages to be collected at the end of the day.
Can anyone help me on this issue

Hi,
To generate file name duynamically
Dynamic File Name Part 1
/people/jayakrishnan.nair/blog/2005/06/20/dynamic-file-name-using-xi-30-sp12-part--i
Dynamic File Name Part 2
/people/jayakrishnan.nair/blog/2005/06/28/dynamic-file-namexslt-mapping-with-java-enhancement-using-xi-30-sp12-part-ii
For line count and total sum you can use standard function provided in message mapping -> statistic -> count , sum.
Else a udf.

  • How to copy Log text (with Date, Time stamp ) User IDfrom BP to Transaction

    Hi Experts,
                     Can someone guide us how  to copy Log text (with Date ,Time & User ID) fron Business partner  (Prospect) to transactions by text detrmination procedure.
    Regards,
    Basavaraj Patil

    save text
    Fill out following parameters of SAVE_TEXT function module:
    HEADER
    TDOBJECT C 10 BUT000
    TDNAME C 70 10 digit BP number
    TDID C 4 Z001
    TDSPRAS C 1 Language
    INSERT = ’X’
    LINES
    TDFORMAT TDLINE
    |
    |testtttttttttttttttttttttttt( Your text)
    I would suggest you to use some other BAPI that would attach your text to BP than SAVE_TEXT.
    If you still wanted to use SAVE_TEXT then first make sure how the TDNAME is generated. It depends on the text determination procedure. For examples, it can be guid of BP, GUID followed by date or time or else the BP number itself.
    Just go to BP transaction, double click on the text pad, it will open you the SAP Script editor. Click on menu GOTO and select Header which will give you info about your TDID, TDOBJECT, TDNAME....
    Hope this helps.

  • Idoc- File with date+time stamp, getting overwritten

    Hi,
    I have a scenario where in am writing Idocs from R3 to a Txt File in 3rd party system.
    For an instance upon running a Tx, am generating 3 idocs. I need all these 3 idocs to be written to a single file. Hence for the file naming i have used "CREDAT_CRETIM.txt" from EDI_DC40(all idocs carry same date+time).
    I have configured the file mode as Create -> using Temporary fileschema of "Ord.xfr". I need this for locking before FTP to the 3rd party system.
    If i check the OVER WRITE EXISTING FILE checkbox, i get only the last idoc written to the file(overwriting previous 2 idocs).
    If i Uncheck the OVER WRITE EXISTING FILE checkbox, i get only the first idoc written to the file(other 2 idocs are not written) they are shown successful in MONI.

    hi BRamchan,
    >>>><i>If i Uncheck the OVER WRITE EXISTING FILE checkbox, i get only the first idoc written to the file(other 2 idocs are not written) they are shown successful in MONI.</i>
    If you can see in moni successfully process, look in the RWB communication channel monitoring of the receiving channel, there you might find error.

  • LG Octane Camera Date/Time Stamp Issues

    The pics I take with my LG Octane are designated a number associated with the date/time the pic was taken (ex 0401121345, would be April 1, 2012 at 145pm). When I transfer the pics from my phones memory card to my computer and open the pics, I can see the pics info (date/time) and everything seems correct.
    The problem comes in when I load my pics onto a website that verifies the pics date/time thru the digital encoding on the pics file. (Digital Pics are encoded with date/time stamps that can be recognized with computer software). This website rejects my submitted pics from my LG Octane because this encoding is either not there or not set correctly. I had no issue previously when using my Samsung env last year. Please Help!

    I take it you are noticing that the photo shows in your gallery with the correct time for the name. But, when you look at the photos on your computer it is showing a time so many hours off (ie. phone shows 12:00 and computer shows 4:00). What it is actually doing is time stamping it for GMT for some reason.  This has been a problem for as long as I know. I have not found an answer and have come to believe there is not a way of changing the time/date stamp on the phone. I have not even found an app for it.
    Sorry I don't have an answer. But, maybe some one else will.

    Your program does not create an Excel File.  It creates a text file that Excel is able to open up and import.
    As it is right now, the name of the file you create is  determined by a dialog box that pops up with the old version of the Open/Create/Replace file that you have.  If you want the program to determine the file name, you need to build a file path out of string data in the same manner you are using the string coming from the Get Date/Time String function you have inside the loop.

  • Can we sign a PDF with AD ID & date & time stamp?

    Can we sign a PDF with AD ID & date & time stamp?

    So what you really want is for your signature's appearance to contain user's ID and signing time. To do that you sign PDF with a regular digital signature and apply custom appearance to it. The "Sign" dialog contains "Appearance" field that has a drop-down list on the right which lists all available appearances and a "Create New Appearance" button. The standard/default signature appearance already contains signing time. You can create a custom appearance that includes additional information that you want to appear there. If you want your username to appear in the signature appearance you create an image file that contains your username and add this image to your custom appearance.
    Multiple users can definitely sign the same PDF. Usually the signing certificate owner's name appears in the certificate itself and is included in the standard/default signature appearance. This is not Windows username but still identifies the signer, IMO better than Windows username. I do not think you want to disclose your password by placing it in the signature appearance.
    You keep mixing two completely different and unrelated concepts: authentication and signing. I still do not understand what exactly you mean by "authentication". It has nothing to do with signature.

  • File name with Dateand time stamp.

    Hi All,
    I want to generate a file with a date and time stamp.
    For that in File Receiver adaptor i am using option "Add Time Stamp" in File Construction mode. however it is generationg file name as: FileName_20082104_121211_645.txt . In this I don't know what these last three characters "_645" are? And In the File name i only want a file name with datetime stamp . I don't require underscore in between. for eg: FileName_20082104121211.txt (FileName_dateTime.txt)
    Can anybody suggest me the way to achive this?
    Thanks,
    Atul

    @FileName_20082104_121211_645
    The date time stamp in XI's file adapter will be in that format. This is to avoid over writing of files created simultaneously at the same time. So the last 3 digits is a form of an unique id to distinguish between the same.
    In case you want the format as FileName_20082104_121211, use the dynamic configuration and create the file name inside the mapping itself and pass it across.
    To get an idea about the same, ref:
    /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/11/10/xi-the-same-filename-from-a-sender-to-a-receiver-file-adapter--sp14 - an usage of the same.

  • Need to add date/time stamp to file name without time change creating new files

    We have setup our application to save data once a trigger event occurs. We also need the date/time stamp as part of the file name. We used Format Date/Time String and concatenated it into the file name. It all works good, but as the time changes (seconds, minutes, etc.) it causes the Write to File to create a new file with the new filename. Is there a way to create the file and save/latch/buffer the time in the file name so that it doesn't create a new file for every second?
    I've attached a shot of the relevant part of our VI. It's all in a big while loop. The data save is in a case/switch so that when it is triggered it starts saving. (The for loop is to split the data up
    into 4 different files). Like I said, it all works except new files are created every second as the time changes instead of just putting it all in one file with the initial time in the file name.

    I need a loop in order to use a shift register. I cannot stop the outer while loop (because it would stop the hardware from collecting data), and I cannot add loops inside which bogs down the processor to where the app stops. I've attached a simpler version of my VI which illustrates the problem. While the button is pressed (the trigger) it should save the data (in this case just cycle numbers) into one file with the initial date/time. But, you can see that it creates 1 file/second. I tried using shift registers, but without adding extra loops I can't see how to do it. Thanks

  • Save the file and give date & time stamp

    1. Reading the Excel file from the selection screen as a parameter.
    2. Using F.M. ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE reading Excel file into
        Internal table.
    3. Implementing the Business Logic.
    4. Move output to Final Internal table.
    5. Final internal table should generate a Flat file. By using GUI_DOWNLOAD.
    6. That flat file should be saved with the name and location given in the Excel.
    7. When ever I run the program output file will generate in the same location but with date and time stamp. Because I’m running the program for range of employees say initially I run for 1 – 10,000 employees next 10,001- 20,000 like that.
    Whenever I run for 2nd time it will overwrite the previous output, that’s the reason I’m using date and time stamp.
    Eg:
    PERSONAL Numbers              Name                                         Location
    00000001                 xxxxx-24.04.2007-10.30          C:\
    00000002                 xxxxx-24.04.2007-10.35
    00000003                 xxxxx-25.04.2007-10.40
    00000004                                  xxxxx-25.04.2007-10.30
    Can any one help me how to save the file and give date & time stamp through hardcode?
    please help me in this issue.

    I am not clear with your problem. Based on the understanding of your question,
    there  can be two cases.
    1- U want to insert time stamp in the output file.
    2- Time stamp is already there, u just have to solve the overwriting issue.
    If your question goes with option 2, You can make use of import parameters
    <b>CONFIRM_OVERWRITE</b> : Which will ask for confirmation before overwriting.
    <b>APPEND</b> : which you can choose either to append the data to the existing file or overwrite it.
    Please inform if the issue is not resolved.

  • Error messages when sending date-time stamp to Oracle Database

      I have a complex application that communicates with an Oracle database.  One of the table values that gets written to the table is a date-time stamp.  Until recently, the user only required a date, and this was never an error. (The format String used was %d-%b-%Y)  Now they need a time-stamp as well, so I attempted to edit the format string input of the format date/time string function to include the time. I have tried numerous format strings, each of which returns an error on execution.  Depending on which format I use, I get one of 3 different error messages.  The really odd thing is that both the date and time always get stored in Oracle without any problem (regardless of what date-time I use, as long as I include the date and any part of a time stamp - I get the entire timestamp even if I only include %I for the hour).  The only issue is that LabVIEW generates an ODBC error if I try to include the time to the date-time stamp.  In other words, teh date/time stamp writes to the Oracle database, but an ODBC error occurs every time.  I've included a word doc with screen captures of the format strings used, the resultant date/time stamps written to Oracle and the error messages generated within LabVIEW. Any advice would be most appreciated.

    Summary of ODBC Error messages related to date-time stamp.doc ‏65 KB

    Oracle has a standard date format: 12-Mar-2009 that it accepts as a string, but if you want more than that, you need to use the todate() function. I used this string going into the standard LabVIEW ''Format date/time sting vi'
    to_date('%d-%b-%Y %H:%M:%S', 'DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MIS') to create the value needed for Oracle.
    Then I use standard format string to create SQL: insert into mytable (mydate) values(%s) and select * from my table where mydate = %s using the string above for %s.
    I think you can also define a global format for all time strings but I haven't bothered figuring that out.

  • How do you vary the Date/Time stamp format in File Adapters

    In the receiver channel of the File Adapter where you specify the 'File Name Scheme', you do have the option of specifying a 'File Construction Mode' of 'Add Time Stamp'.  How can you specify a different Date/Time stamp format ( eg MM/DD/YY vs YYYYMMDD vs MMDDYY, etc. ) without changing the Date/Time stamp for the entire SAP system?  Also, can you control where the Date/Time stamp appears in the filename?

    Hi,
    There are many threads discussing the same issue. Go thro the following:
    Dynamic file name (Date) in Receiver File Adapter
    Receiver File Adapter - TimeStamp
    Bhavesh's reply in above thread:
    You can use Adapter Specific Identifiers and then change the file name in the mapping. Append the tiem stamp in the format that you want and so on.
    Just use this code in an UDF,
    DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
    DynamicConfigurationKey key = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File","FileName");
    String SourceFileName = conf.get(key);
    java.text.SimpleDateFormat dateformat = new java.text.SimpleDateFormat( "yyyyMMdd" );
    dateformat.format( new java.util.Date() );
    String newfilename=SourceFileName+dateformat;
    // change to new file name
    conf.put(key, newfilename);
    return "";

  • PTP camera - how to retain date/time stamp on photos [Gnome]

    I have a USB PTP Camera that comes up in Nautilus under "gphoto2://[usb:001,007]/DCIM"  I can copy/paste the photos off the thing to ~ but the date/time stamp gets changed to the present.  How can I copy them over retaining the original date/time stamp?

    By using the exif info I suppose.
    http://linux.die.net/man/1/exiv2
    -t
        Set the file timestamp according to the Exif create timestamp in addition to renaming the file (overrides -k). This option is only used with the 'rename' action.
