Release Build FAIL (but debug build works perfectly)

Hi to all.
I've a serious problem with making a release build of my project.
Here the error screenshot:
The debug build works perfectly
I searched in the all hard drives for a "bin-release" folder, but it does not exists.
How i can make a release build?

Solved!
Simply i added the following node to <linkedResources> on .project file:
        <link>
            <name>bin-release</name>
            <type>2</type>
            <location>my-realese-directory-path</location>
        </link>
And the release build gone sucessfully

920 camera AF fail but video AF work

In some situations, my 920 cannot auto focus, where the focus frame misses at last. And it happens when the weather is nice/ day time/ all settings are auto/ the object are colourful and contrasty with surrounding/ and the lens is clean and I know the button can half press to focus.
what is wierd is that the camera AF fail, but the VIDEO FOCUS works quite well.( links are photo(all fail, upload 1, all the same), and video. all files just resized).

[iPhone] Calc.app builds fine, but doesn't work as intended

Hi,
Trying the Calc example in "Xcode Quick Tour for iPhone OS", I end up with an application that builds and launches fine in the iPhone Simulator, but that doesn't work.
Did anyone try this example and did it work for you ?
Here is what I observed :
When I press a digit, the displayField's value isn't changed.
Going in debug, I can see that the instance of the Calculator class does receive a message with the "input" selector and with the parameter "character" worth the digit that I pressed. The [_diplay appendString:character], but _display seems to keep being "nil".
Any idea ?

The Calc example worked well for me. The only bugginess I found was that if the text field is forced to reduce it's font size it never gets reset to the original size.
Assuming you didn't touch the Calculator class files it's probably something simple. Check the IB connections, especially the connection between the displayField outlet and the UITextField. Maybe put a NSLog in the press method to check \[_calculator display\]. Of course if your Calculator class files are different from mine all bets are off, so if you don't have any luck we'll need to compare those.

Only firefox executing mysql query two times. but other browser works perfect why?

i am a web developer. and i am facing a problem only with firefox. every time i use MySQL query in my php code fire fox execute it two times. but same query is working fine on other browsers.

Yes, the problem is seen without extensions and also in safe mode.
But, I am starting to think that firefox is running low on memeory or CPU.
Without extensions the possibility of failing is 1 in 3.
I am still unable to explain why closing the browser or aborting the request can cause the stuck request to immediately reach the server.
Is there a way to collect Firefox logs and post it here ?

PDF print problems Preview Fails but Adobe Reader works?

Hello All,
I'm having issues printing pdf documents, it appears to be a Font problem, that is when I print from Apple's Preview 7.0 the document prints, but the spacing of characters is wrong, some symbols are missing etc. When I print from Adobe Reader 11.0.07 the documents look normal.
More Details: All pdfs generated using Latex fail this way, so it might be an issue there. PDFs generated from iWork's Pages 5 print fine UNLESS I copy the Latex images into them then they print incorrectly again.
I suspect the issue is with Apple's Preview missing a font, although I'm not sure that's it nor how to fix it. Adobe prints without any issues at all.
I am using OS 10.9.4 on a 2009 iMac. I am printing to a HP Laserjet M4555 over Bonjour Service.

Unfortunately this has not solved the problem. I ended up disabling them all and ultimately deleting the duplicates. Adobe works so that is my work around for now, although I prefer Preview.

Airport fails - but Dlink Router works! Why?

My ISP is struggling to get a static IP working for me. I am having the same connection problem with two different Apple routers:
1.) When the laptop is configured to the static IP address, it works fine.
2.) When the Airport(s) are configured to the same static IP address, and the laptop is connected DHCP to the Airport, cannot load pages.
3.) When the antique Dlink DI-624 is configured to the same static IP address, and the laptop is connected DHCP to the Dlink, it works fine.
4.) And - just to make it more difficult - when the Airport is allowed to obtain a WAN address using DHCP, it works properly!
So using the exact same static IP configurations, the Dlink works and two different Airport routers fail. The Apple router only works if set to DHCP.
What is the difference between the Dlink and the Airport? What can I adjust on the Airport to get it to work properly as Dlink does with no special adjustments?
This has me and the ISP stumped. Any help will be appreciated!

The "modem" is actually an antenna and can function in router or bridge mode. At present my antenna/modem is set back to router mode and the Extreme is in Bridge. However, the Extreme is part of the three router set - all Apple - that establishes a secure network to computers and a video phone. The Dlink cannot duplicate that configuration.
The three Apple set used to work. Something changed on the ISP end and neither I nor the ISP can figure it out.
I need some extreme gear head who knows the internal workings of the Dlink and the Extreme to tell me what the internal routing-NAT-DHCP difference is between the Dlink and the Extreme so I can adjust or configure the Extreme to function properly.

Powerpill -Sy fails but pacman -Sy works

I recently got in trouble with pacman and powerpill after we are forced behind a proxy by the uni. I have exported the several proxy env vars, then a strange problem comes out, I could use
pacman -Sy
to sync my pkg db, but I could not with
powerpill -Sy
, it always fails with the error msgs
error: failed retrieving file 'core.db.tar.gz' from ftp.archlinux.org : Transient resolver failure
, so on through every mirror. Anyone could help me with the prob? Thanks.

Maybe it seemed like nothing happened because the database was already in sync. Regardless of how it updates the database, powerpill continues with the download before passing control to pacman to complete the operation, if there's anything left to do.
I'm not sure why it worked as expected with the Rebase option but not without. Powerpill uses the Perl's LWP::Simple module to check and retrieve the databases. The module probably detects the proxy settings on its own. I don't know why it wouldn't work when using pacman if you're able to sync the databases directly with pacman. It might be due to missing variables in the environment of the system call to pacman. *shrugs*

Autostart of network-service fails, but manual start works fine

I followed a guide to set up a network connection. The steps were to create a network config (/etc/config.d/network)

After the rebooting calling systemctl states the service as failed. If I start it manually using systemctl start network everything works fine.

With 'a guide' I presume you referred to this guide
The guide states
To set static IP on enp3s0 interface you will need to create /etc/conf.d/network@enp3s0 config file and run:
# systemctl enable [email protected]
where enp3s0 has to be changed into your own interface name.
Note that the EnvironmentFile has to change to /etc/conf.d/network@<interface>.

Premiere CC won't start up past the splash screen, but Photoshop CC works perfectly. For Mac.

I tried to open the crash report (saved as a word document) but it won't let me.
Anyone with any insight on how I can get this going asap?

I found my iPhone on the side of the on-ramp thanks to "Find my iPhone". It was within 5 feet of where it had been tracked.

I long ago gave-up on Apple Support Communities as a source of technical info, and instead drop-by from time-to-time for entertainment purposes.

Build fail without errors

I've been getting often enough strange compilation errors from the labview application status window, the weirdest being

Status: Build failed.
The build failure without errors seems to be a red herring; it actually builds and links fine, but for some reason Labview takes offense to it and reports a build failure. If you rerun the build again it resumes where it had "failed" and the target is loaded and started... very strange behaviour, and it is not limited to the LM3S project, I get it with the MCB2378. Anybody knows why this would happen?
Anyway just putting this out there for others who would encounter this problem.

When you reload the code and it compiles correctly does it operatre as expected? Here are some things that I believe we have gone over but should be useful for other members of the forums:
Debugging in Keil uVision
After c generating an embedded application, you should have the project loaded in the Keil uVision IDE. The following steps will help you debug the application.
Click "Reset CPU"
Click "Run"
Click "Halt."
You should be stopped in a loop in a function named OCDI_RDMWaitOnStart in OCDICheckPoint.c. The function waits for LabVIEW to be ready by checking the variable named OCDI_RDMStart. Since we are not using LabVIEW to run the application, we need to change this variable manually using the watch window.
Add the variable OCDI_RDMStart to the watch window.
Set any other breakpoints that you want in the project.
Select View->Period Window Updates
Click "Run"
From the watch window, change the variable OCDI_RDMStart to 0x01. The application will exit the loop and run your VI.
To run the application again:
Click "Reset CPU"
Click "Run"
From the watch window, change the variable OCDI_RDMStart to 0x01.
You can also add "one button dialog" nodes to your VI, and this will do a printf that you can see in the Keil IDE. Choose View->Serial Window->Real-Time Agent Terminal to see the window that receives the output.
My guess is that the first time you run it the project is looking for a pointer or something and then the second time it know knows where it is and finishes without error.

Build failed

I use BPM standalone 10g and BPM studio 10g.
I copy the AntTasks folder to F:
Then, I change the BPMHOME of all files.
Then, I ran the ant.
However, the ant is fail.
Error mesage:
F:\AntTasks\build.xml: 268: The file or path you specified (..\..\basic) is invalid relative to F:\AntTasks
or The command line shows error:
Build failed
F:\AntTasks\build.xml:268: Cannot resolve path F:\AntTasks\..\..\basic
The build file is like that

How to change the path?
Then, I copy the above folder to D:\BPM_HOME\samples
I rerun the ant script.

But the build is failed again. The error message as as follow:

However, I do not delete files.

Now, I use the original AntTasks sample and run the scripts. I stop the BPM application.
I follow each step of the readme.txt. But during the first step, it shows error of illegal arguments.
New engin can be created. But it cannot be run through ant. And I cannot deploy the BPM project.
I try in the second method.
I have a Default Eirectory Configuration named default. If I just want to deploy .exp file to default, how to modify the script files?
I just run the script of deployment. The build is still failed.
