Remote Server - WLST Deployment adapter error
Hi everyone.
I have a issue I hope you can help with.
The task: To use a Python script to create a FTP Adapter / DbAdapter connection to a remote server.
The problem: Script works fine with WebLogic working on localhost but gives <b>error with any remote server including Virtual Machine</b>
The area of code concerned:
FTPappPath=get('/AppDeployments/FtpAdapter/PlanPath')
print(FTPplanPath)
FTPplanPath=get('/AppDeployments/FtpAdapter/SourcePath')
print(FTPsrcPath)
print '--------Start loadApplication-------'
myPlan=loadApplication(FTPsrcPath, FTPplanPath)
When deploying to any server except localhost, it fails at the last line in the above.. "loadApplication" . I have checked and the FTPplanPath and FTPappPath are correct when looking at the print statement.
The error:

REP-0177: An error occurred while running in a remote server.
I am getting the following errors while trying to run a report script. The report was created in Report Builder.
REP-0177: An error occurred while running in a remote server.
Reference parameter OT_RUN_DATE in the distribution list is invalid.
OT_RUN_DATE is a static field converting SYSDATE to a string (TO_CHAR(SYSDATE, 'YYYYMMDD')). Unfortunately, I inherited this report and did not create it. I do not know what purpose it serves but would like more insight into what the reference parameter and distribution list mean.
REP-0177: An error occurred while running in a remote server.
Too many errors pushed on the stack
I assume this is related to the first error but am not certain.
Any help is greatly appreciated...Michel,

Whenever I connect to the remote server I receive a error message, "Cannot display the server folder: ..." Does anyone know how to resolve this error? Is it a issue with WebDAV, the Server, and/or Dreamweaver?
I recently updated the NetIODav.dll file to try to resolve the error and that cause a different server to quit working. Could that possibly have something to do with it? http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/webdav-error-connecting-server-using.html

I have installed the standalone beta on OS X and manually installed the Administrator files on my CF8 development server running Red Hat Enterprise 5.3 (SELinux is disabled). The Administrator starts with no problem on the server, just some info notices. I followed the excellent blog post linked earlier to set up the remote server, and got no errors on the client or the server.
However, the client never changes from "unknown" status. I tried changing the server config in builder to an incorrect port, to see if it was communicating with the server and I *did* get an error message in the console on the server. RDS works fine for files and datasources. I realize builder is only supported for Mac and Windows at launch, but I haven't seen anything about not supporting linux remote servers, which would be a show-stopper for us.
I also tried a CF9 beta server on RHEL, and saw the same problem. Any insight would be appreciated.Sure. The server is Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3 with SELinux disabled, 32 bit, kernel 2.6.18-128.2.1.e15.
Apache 2.2 (2.2.3-22.el5_3.2) unmodified.
CF 8.01, no hotfixes, standalone. Clean install of 8.01, not upgraded. Installed the administrator files by hand, fixed permissions.
CFBuilder is a standalone install, not plug-in, on OS X 10.5.7, Mac Pro, 8 cores, 10 gigs.
The test servers are VMs, so I can clone and break them if you want me to test anything. -
Acknowledging alarms in remote server context
Hi there,
Just wondering.. If I have a local SunMC server and a remote SunMC server which is referenced to the local one, is it possible to acknowledge alarms without logging into the remote server console?
The error I'm getting is: "Exception occured while acknowledging alarms. The node is not in the current server context. No allowed action -- acknowledging alarm"
I know this is the default security policy, but is there any way to open this so I can just acknowledge alarms?
Communication between server contexts is done with the user "espublic", I tried adding this user, giving it access to SunMC and adding espublic to the group "esops" but that gives users access to almost everything on the remote server, even if they have read-only rights on the local server, .....not really an option ;-)

Are you trying to do this so you can "stack" SunMC Servers (i.e. have one Server that can see all the Agents in other Servers) or are you just trying to ack from another tool that isn't SunMC? If you're just looking for a way to ack from outside, EventAction can be configured to receive SNMP traps to ack alarms:

Error while deploying to remote server
Hi,
I'm trying to deploy an application from Java Studio Creator2 (running in my home office) to a Java System Applicatio Server PE 8.2 (running in our company). The server is behind a NAT router an has a private IP address on the company LAN (10.0.0.0 network). The ports 4848, 8080 and 8181 are open and directed to the server and I can connect using a web browser.
I can also register the server in JSC2 as a remote deployment server and that little green arrow shows up imediately (I can see/change settings, ...). If I start to deploy an application to this server it fails. JSC2 and the server start talking to each other but after a few minutes I get a timeout error. This is the output in the JSC console:
Building jar: /export/home/tim/Documents/source/Creator/Projects/Test/dist/Test.war
Deleting directory /export/home/tim/Documents/source/Creator/Projects/Test/dist/tmp
dist:
run-deploy:
Distributing /export/home/tim/Documents/source/Creator/Projects/Test/dist/Test.war to [ni000g02:4848_server]
Start registering the project's server resources
Finished registering server resources
Deployment error: Deployment timed out after 240 seconds.. See the server log file for details.
Exception=Deployment error: Deployment timed out after 240 seconds.. See the server log file for details.
Deployment error: Deployment timed out after 240 seconds.. See the server log file for details.
The Application is on the server but it's disabled and theres no automatic test (starting the browser, calling the page). This only works once. After I removed the crippled app from the server, I can't redeploy it.
Maybe the problem is the server being behind a NAT router?
Any help is appreciated!
Tim RichterHi,
I did a fresh install (plain vanilla) and tried to deploy again. Here's the complete log:

Hi,
We are trying to deploy the provider hosted app in server environment . we are getting the "The remote server returned an error :(401) unauthorized" error after deploy the app in server.
stack Trace:
[webException:Te remote server returned an error:(401) UnAuthorized.]
System.Net.HeepWebRequest.GetResponse().
Followed the same MSDN steps , but sill same error. We have attached the certificate and using the same issuer ID in the app web.config.
Verified the IIS setting and still getting the same error when we call the "Clientcontext.ExecuteQuery()" method.
Same code is working fine in my Local dev environment.
If anyone have idea about this issue, please let me know.
Thank you,
MylsamyHi ,Thank you for your response. We have tried all the options and everything is same (Client ID,Issuer ID...etc) and finally figured out the issue. The below link saved my day.http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/dn762439(v=office.15).aspxIn "TokenHelper.cs" GetRealmFromTargetUrl method always return null andWhen we analyze the issue we found some variable name assigned for "Realm" Instead of GUID in SP server.Power shell command to get the Realm in SP server: Get-SPAuthenticationRealmWe have followed below article to generate the new GUID for realm.http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj219756(v=office.15).aspx$c =Get-SPServiceContext -Site "http://<websiteurl>"Set-SPAuthenticationRealm -ServiceContext $c -Realm "a686d436-9f16-42db-09b7-cb578e110ccd".
Thankyou,Mylsamy -
Application not working after deployment in remote server
I have a standard web application working in my localhost. But when I deploy the same in a remote server it gives the following exception. This happens for all the jsp:useBean. why is the container not able to fund the Beans. The Tomcat is installed properly and I use it's manager tool to deploy the WAR.
I checked the WEB-INF/lib directory and it has all the required JARs.

Edited by: danbrown on Feb 8, 2008 8:32 AMYour error stack refers to a class with the package sequence "com.news.pubt.weather....." but your jsp file refers to a class "com.news.pub.weather...
Is there an error in your jsp page? If so, did you change the package name, and do you still have old class files on the classpath on your local machine with the old name?
Anyway, the top of the error stack refers to line number 68 in the Container class. So that is where you should see a problem regarding the NullPointerExcpetion. You could post that line of code. -
Hi,
Any help appreciated!!
I'm getting this error: "The remote server returned an error: (401) unauthorised when I debug a provider-hosted app. I get the error on this line:
HttpWebResponse response = (HttpWebResponse)request.GetResponse();
See code below
I created a high trust development environment following the instructions provided here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/fp179901(v=office.15).aspx and
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/office/fp179923
I created a provider-hosted app with the intent to:
create a SharePoint list in the appweb
Use self-signed certificate, tokenhepler.cs and sharepointcontext.cs to retrieve current user context and access on SharePoint. (No changes were made to tokenhelper.cs and sharepointcontext.cs)
retrieve list items from the SharePoint list in a button click event handler on a default.aspx of the remote web
What happens:
The app is deployed successfully to the Dev site
The SharePoint feature is deployed and activated
The default.aspx page of the remote web loads
The error (see image) is returned on clicking of the button
My environment is an on-premise SharePoint 2013 with AD and my dev box is standalone windows 8.1 running Visual Studio Professional 2013 Update 3.

Hello,
I have a lightswitch web-application in development, which I need to copy from one computer to the other. I have tried doing it both through Git and by simply copying the solution and opening the project on another machine. The project builds without errors,
but when I try to debug it, it opens a web-browser, loads to 100% and pops up an error - Load operation failed for query 'GetAuthenticationInfo'. The remote server returned an error: NotFound.
Now, I have tried repairing Visual Studio on my machine, reinstalling .NET framework and setting <basicAuthentication enabled="false" /> in web.config, yet it still does not run.
When using Fiddler, it shows an error while loading the application - "HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error" , which I honestly don't know what it means.
The application uses ComponentOne and Telerik modules, but they are both installed on both machines.
The application does run perfectly on the original machine, but it is not working on any other one.
Both machines are using Win 8.1 and Visual Studio 2013 Update 4.
I have tried to look this up online, but most people's problem are when they are deploying the app, not just debugging. I would be really happy for any help with this issue.
Thanks!I have the same problem on one of my development machines. Whenever I create a new project, the System.IdentityModel.Tokens.Jwt nuget package is not referenced properly. The project compiles correctly but you are not able to debug as I get the same error
as you.
If you open up your references and there is an error next to any of your references make sure that you correct them. In the case of the jwt reference error, I have to remove the jwt reference and then add it back from the packages folder.
This may not be your problem but could point you in a direction?
