Remove the extra space at the end of each page in the report

Hi,
When the RDF report output is seen in notepad, it shows empty lines at the end of each page. Is it possble to avoid these empty lines and display the output without any empty lines.
Thanks in advance.

In the headers and footers of table/loop nodes, use event "at page break" on condition tab. Read some documentation like [Printing Data in a Table|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_NW70EHP1core/helpdata/en/0b/e06b192d8411d5b693006094192fe3/frameset.htm]

Please how do I remove the thick line that appears at the end of each page of my report anytime I publish the report unto the Web.

Bring up the property inspector against the report object. In here you will see the settings for HTML output. Remove the entry against the "After Page Value" property.

  • Text in the textfield  has "=" symbols at end of each line. how to remove ?

For certain cases, if one does cut & paste (multiple lines of text ) into the text area from email, the symbol ("=") appears at end of each line. I was told to handle such cases and remove the "=" at end of each line from the text area. If I replace "=" with space, It would replace every single appearance of "=" with space instead of just only at the end. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi
Try to find out new line character. And if position of thses "=" is specific to new line char. you search it out from there and then can replace with any char or space.
    Hope this will work .

  • The extra space created due to Conditional Build Tags

    Hello,
I am authoring a online help file, for a web application. As different content is needed for the 4 different roles of the user, I have used Single Sourcing option and made use of conditional build tags for the content that is not common among the different roles. I even have images which are difffernt for the differnt roles. I have used conditional build tags for these too. The problem is that, extra space appears in place of the images which are not applicable to build I am publishing. Is there any workaround other than modifying the HTML files to remove the extra space added?
    Regards,
    Deepti Korwar

    hi Deepti,
I have seen this issue on multi-level lists (in RH9) when using soft returns (Shift-Enter) within the lists.
An extra space is added before images marked with CBTs. But this only caused problems in print.
Are you seeing this space on all outputs or just print?
Can you paste a code snippet from one of the offending list?
Perhaps you can get round this by opening up the HTML tab and carefully examining and perhaps moving the CBTs.
    e.g. <?rh-cbt_start condition="xyz" ?><img src="xyz"  > <?rh-cbt_end ?></p><?rh-list_end ?>
Will be helpful to see the code.
    thanks

I am somewhat a newbie and I am working on a webpage for a

Vertical Elasticity should be expand.
Also you can try by setting the property *"Vert. Space between frames"* for the Repeating frame.

  • How to find the extra spaces from personal computer?

I cannot update Adobe new items since the box window told me that there were no spaces from my computer. Who can teach me how to find the extra spaces from my computer? Besides, there are 1/3 spaces for IOS, 1/3 spaces for virtual computer and 1/3 spaces for Adobe in my computer. No any photos and movies  in my computer now.

I do not understand the question... what do you mean by spaces?
What size is your hard drive, and what does your system tell you about unused hard drive space?

  • Putting buttons at the end of each row of a report

    Hi
Was wondering if anyone new of a way to put buttons on the end of each row of a report. Basically i want a button and a LOV box next to the end of each row so that the user could set the value of the LOV box click the button and that would update just that row. Obviously i want to give them the option of batch processing it as well but for now i just want them to be able to update one row at a time.
This does not nessacary need to be with a LOV box it could also work with radio buttons to specifiy the value to update.
If anyone knows a way of doing this or any information where i can read about it then please let me know as i would be very interested.
Or can you make report fields eidtable so that i can just run a massage update on the using all the values in the report?
    Thank you for your time

No such luck a tabluar updat form shows all the rows for that table. I only want the user to be able to update their rows in the table.
This is bascally what i want to do.
I have two reports that only show records that are realted to the current user that is logged in.
The first report shows all records in the table for the current user where the supervisor (the current user) type is set to confirmed.
The second reprot shows all the records in the table for the current user where the supervisor (the current user) type is set to requested.
That is what i have acheived so far.
I want to be able to make the superviosr type in the second report editable with a list of values requested, rejected and confirmed. The user can then select what he would like the type to be for the specific record in the report and then press a button that updates all the reocrds (or a button at the end of each row that updates each row). If the row is confirmed it moves to the first report, if it is still requested it stays in the second report and if it is set to rejected then it will be in neither report.
Therefore my question is if i make the supervisor type eidtable how can i link it to the id of that row so that it updates it?
If this is not clear please state to me which part i have not made clear.
    Thank you for your help.

  • When I print a selected area of web page, it doesn't fit to the paper. The end of each page are cut off. Is there any solution?

When I print a selected area of web page, it doesn't fit to the paper. The end of each page are cut off.
I'm very sure my printer is set cirrectly.
Can't Firefox shrink to fit when I want to print a selected area of web pages?
This has never occurred in IE.

File >Page Setup -- check your margins, I have set size to 85% which is probably left over from some problem. Also check your printer that it is correctly set to the size of the paper.

  • How to print a value at the top of each page in the detail section of a rpt

Thanks for helping, I will try to get right to the point.
I have RTF template. Very simplistic template. I have the Group at the top (there is only 1 per XML file) and several DETAIL lines with like 10 columns.
The first displayed field is "ACCOUNT_NUMBER". The user wished that if the ACCOUNT NUMBER for line 2 was the same as line 1, that it be suppressed, for example:
Acct No other other other other
    1234 XX XX XX XX
    YY YY YY YY
This was not a problem, I was able to accomplish it with the following code:
    <?if:position()=1 or ACCOUNT_NUMBER!=preceding::ACCOUNT_NUMBER[1]?><?ACCOUNT_NUMBER?><?end if?>
But what happens is that IF THE FIRST line on a page has the same ACCOUNT_NUMBER as the last line on the previous page, the ACCOUNT NUMBER is not displayed.
What I would like is for the ACCOUNT NUMBER to be displayed anytime we are at the first record on a page, AND anytime it is different from the previous record's value.
I do not know how many lines per page are possible, because there are other line breaks which exist which put a space between lines when values change too. So I cannot just count how many total lines and divide it by lines per page.
My thought was that there must be a way I could store a variable called LAST_PAGE, and at the end of each record, copy the current page number to that variable. Then in my ACCOUNT_NUMBER code, I could check if current page is NOT equal to last page along with my other conditions.
    1. Is this the best way to do this? If so, please help, I am new to BI and am having trouble figuring out where to put variables and stuff like that.
    2. If not, how can I do this?
    3. If your recommendation is going to be to group my items by Account Number, I may not have time to redo the report that way. I will happily supply the rtf and xml if that will help you help me.
    Regards:
    Michael Coughlin

Here ya go. Obviously you can duplicate the G_DETAILS blocks to get enough for 2 pages. I have the data pre-sorted before the output is generated because I had trouble getting the RTF to work if I didn't, just so you know.

  • How to display a header on each page of the smartform?

    Hi,
I have a main window with a header and a table.I want my header to be displayed on each page of the form when the table streches on several pages. In my case,my header is a template and i want it to be displayed every time my table is longer than the first page.
    thanks

    Hi
Yes,i know that the header is displayed on every page, but i cannot insert a template into the table.
I also cannot use a flag, because only the content of the table is processed until all the data from the table is displayed.I have to force that window to be displayed on each page if the table has overflow.
    Any other ideas?
    later edit:
I gues the option Sravathni gave me,is the only possibility.I have to declare rows  exactly like the one from the template and move the whole template into the header of the table.
But isn't there an easier way to do that?

  • How to Print the Report Column headers on each page of any report

Can someone offer assistance on how I can go about achieving the ability to show and print the Report Column headers on each page of any report using the Print Attributes of APEX 3.0? These reports will be printed using Excel and Word.
I read a thread with a similar request but the answer seems vague for my level of understanding.
I am connected to a print server and using BI Publisher.
    Thanks,
    Ric

    Hello Ric,
    >> These reports will be printed using Excel and Word.
I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to do. You are using a very powerful tool – BI Publisher – why do you need Excel or Word for printing? Is there a special need only Excel or Word can provide?
One of the major advantages of using BI Publisher is that it's taking care of all these tedious tasks like reasonable page breaking, headers and footers, and also table headers.
    Regards,
    Arie.
