Removing table gaps on catalog pages

Has anyone found a solution to the following?
Instead of using products on a Catalog page, I want to add my own images and direct them as needed. When I do this, I get a gap under the category and Cart Summary as seen here:

When I create the template by itself and apply to to a regular page (non-category) I get the results I want:

How can I remove the gap that occurs everytime? Also, it seems that if I add a product to the cart from any other page, a cookie isn't carried over and the page continually states that the cart is empty.

Hi,
You'll need to make some adjustments within your CSS. I'm using firebug (https://getfirebug.com/) to help pinpoint certain divs causing the spacing.

How to remove the Personalize link from the table layout displayed on Page.

While i create a new page and a table layout is created on this page it displays a link called Personalize this table. For every table i create the same is displayed.
If 10 such table layouts are there i get personalize options on all such 10 layouts on same page.
If anyone of u knows @ this please help me out how to remove that link from the page.

You can set the value for the profile FND: Personalization Region Link Enabled / FND_PERSONALIZATION_REGION_LINK_ENABLED to No.

Inspector > Table > Table > Cell Borders
The buttons immediately below "Cell Borders" allow you to choose left, right, inside, outside etc.
Choose None from the border style Pop-up.
Download the Number'09UserGuide from the Help menu in Pages. Search for borders.

Table not breaking on pages

Hey all,
I'm building a document that has a long table on it with content in two columns. Basically it's a storyline on the left and technical notes on the right.
The problem is that Pages seems to break on table rows, creating gaps on some pages because the next row doesn't fit on the page.
Is it possible to have Pages break the row and fill the page (and continue on next page)? Or can't this be done?

Sorry its a bit late, but may be of some use...
Numbers (I've found) can do it, but it's only ok while you are in Numbers. As soon as it's put into pages, it does the same.
I'm trying to do the same, but on Ipad3. Google does give examples of how to do it with a Mac...

Remove all gaps

Is there a way to 'remove all gaps' between footage items in a timeline?
Does Premier have scripts like AE?
Why not?
Someone could then write a script that removes all gaps in a timeline.

I've done a 'product request' with Adobe before and I'm not a fan of the system.
A user submits a request and then what???
Is there a way to see the list of request so users can add votes, comments, or discussions?
There was no feedback at all when I posted to the request page.
Can't say I'm surprised by this response as I've long thought that the Premier team liked to ignore the users.
It's only since CS 5 that I've had any sort of impression that the Premier team cares about selling product at all!
Lets be honest, Premier 'braked' pretty hard when the guys left to build Final Cut.
I'd rather post in a public forum to see what sort of feedback one gets from the community.
I guess I've been spoilt by the Red camera forums where users are encouraged to feedback to the company and each other.
I'm an AE user and I'm used to a much more energetic development.
What is it with the basic wipes???? There is no soften edge or motion blur. Do I have to use the plugins 'that look like they were ripped straight out of AE' that require me to place the clip in the layers above???
Why does Premier take five times longer to preview a clip from a series of TIFFs then AE?
When I jump to a Sub Comp in AE the CTI jumps to the same relative frame in the subclip. Why doesn't Premier do the same?
I wish the blasted 'generate preview timeline' hot key was the same as AE (0 on the keypad)!
I get that the team doesn't want to spend time building in each and every little feature request, so bolt in a Python scripting engine.
Look FCP isn't FCP any more so go and rip off all the features that were added to it instead of Premier, and steal features from AE (especally their work metadology)

Gaps in my pages

I am trying to build a new website for my company. Every now
and then I get these gaps in my pages around text or images. The
site looks fine in Dreamweaver 8 but when I view it in IE 7 thats
when the gaps starts and I have tried everything to correct this
but it just makes it worse. I have asked other people and all they
tell me is it's not me it's how IE renders CSS. So how can I avoid
this or can I still fix my page? My site isn't on line yet but I
created a file with the pages and the images and some more pics
showing what I am having problems with all you need to do is ask me
and I will send the file to you.

Add # of Classes to the class column on the Catalog page

Is there a way to personalize the catalog page to display the # of classes associated within an offering in the Catalog?

I believe this facility used to exist, but was removed. The reason it was removed was for performance. If you have to search the catalogue for the number of classes, the system has to read all those records to count them and it will slow down the rendering of the catalogue page.
Anders, who contributes regularly to this forum, can probably confirm!

Single row editing for multiple tables in a single page

Hi!
I have split a table with many many columns into more tables with a lower number of columns. There is an ID column (sequence generated) that is Primary Key common for all tables. Obviously, the relationship between these tables is 1 to 1, so its not about having to build master-detail pages.
What I need now is to edit all these tables in a single page: one single row from each table. The Automated Row Fetch & Automatic Row Processing (DML) processes used for the old table must be replaced by something else.
Is there a way to use in a single page more pairs of such processes for more tables?
I want to avoid manually writing processes with lot of PL/SQL code to handle row fetch & update.
Keep in mind that the page will have an ID item that can be used to identify unique rows in all my tables.

IMHO that is a very bad idea. There is nothing wrong with having many columns in a table. If you would like to split them to better "categorize" them, just create views on the table and expose different subsets of the columns.
I want to avoid manually writing processes with lot of PL/SQL code to handle row fetch & update.
That is unavoidable given how you have designed the underlying tables.
You could try creating a view that joins all the tables by the PK and creating a form based on that view. Then write a INSTEAD OF trigger on the view that "doles out" the DML on the view to each of the underlying tables.

How to get the number of rows in a HTML table in some other page

I am incrementing HTML table rows on button click and saving number of rows in a javascript variable. But on submitting that page I need that number of row value in the following page
example:
HTML table is in the page first.jsp
and the javascript variable having the current row number is row_number
on submitting it goes to second.jsp page. There i need that row_number value.
Can anyone help me to solve this?

How to control selected row in result table on a search page?

Using JDeveloper 10.1.3.2.0
I have attempted to create an ADF page that contains a search and result table in the same page.
I have questions related to the result table. Let's say the result table shows 10 rows per page.
If I page forward there is no default selected row "clicked" on the page. Only if you return to
the very first 10 rows do you see a default selection in row number one of the results.
How would I go about making the first row of each page the default selection?

You'll need to code this into the RangeChangeEvent event of the table.

How to create a Table of Contents using Pages 09?

I have little problems creating a Table of Contents in Pages, though it seems quite simple. I'm working with the template 'Term Paper' and I use paragraph styles (Title, Heading I, II, etc.). I have some very long documents (about 80 pages long) so I wanted to create a TOC (using sections) but it says:
The table of contents is empty because none of the paragraph styles selected in the Document Inspector are used in the document.
When I compare the paragraph styles I do use and the paragraph styles in the Document Inspector, they match. So I'm a bit upset about this because I really need to use this great feature!

I would say: Try and Error. Create a copy of your document and unmark in the copied document in the document inspector all boxes for the TOC. Then mark them again. Maybe you should also delete the paragraph styles and mark them again. If that doesn't work, try to copy the complete text of your document to a new created one. Maybe that works.

How to set value in SupplierLov on Non-Catalog page when value is via hashm

I have created a link above the supplier name Lov field .
Click on the link opens a custom page which shows some supplier records based on business validation.Now I selected one record on custom page and clicked on select .--This forwardsImmediately back to non-catalog request page with hashmap carring supplier name.Now I want to populate the Supplier Lov field with this supplier name .
I tried below option

The value gets populated in the field but actually I feel its not the selected value as per behaviour of supplier Lov ..because when I immediately tab out of that field and try to select a supplier site it gives error message on the screen mentioning to first

Please advise as how can I automate this process

How can I automatically scale a table based on the page size?

I have multiple tables within 100s of pages of an InDesign file and when I use the liquid layout to scale the content of the pages based on the size, the tables stay the same. I've searched for a while now and can't come up with anything other than going in and manually doing it - which I don't have the time to do.

You probably haven't activated the layout adaptation (I'm on german ID, don't know the correct name for it in English) in the mini menu of the Liquid Layout panel.

SMARTFORM - Printing 3 tables in 2 different pages.

I have a form with 3 pages. In the PAGE 1 I need to print data of 2 different tables. These data may not fit in this first page and a second page can be printed. In PAGE 2 I also have a table that may get big enough to "push" all other windows to a second page. And we have a "normal" PAGE 3.
I create a form with these 3 pages. In PAGE 1 I've put one of the tables in a main window. The second table I put in another window.
PAGE 1 next page -> PAGE 2
PAGE 2 next page -> PAGE 3
PAGE 3 next page -> PAGE 3
I can't activate the form. I have problem because of the main windows in each table.

For sure, sy-subrc = 1 in Smartforms is a very tricky return code. The problem was in a template in PAGE 2 which height was greater than the window's size.
Now I can print my 3 pages. Great!
But I still have a little problem.
My PAGE 1 is like this:
HEADER (many windows)
TEMPLATE 1 ( main window)
TABLE 1 "
TEMPLATE 2 "
TABLE 2 "
COMMAND PAGE 2 (main window)
When I have too many entries in TABLE 1 or TABLE 2 a new PAGE 1 is printed. Ok. But this is almost what I wanted. Because in this second sheet of PAGE 1 is printed with the HEADER again. I don't want any header in this sheet 2.
I tried to use the condition "only on first page" in my HEADER but didn't worked. What can I do?
