Hi,
I want a report which should have these fileds vendor,vendor number,vendor address,vendor industry code,vendor industry description,buyer code,buyer name.Can anyone please help on this from where to pull all this data and how to do it SQVI

Hi,
For vendor side information can use the LFA1 &LFA 2 tables. For address field is ADRC. Buer is nothing but customer. Use the table KNA1 ,either you can get from KNA1-NAME1 ,KNA1-NAME2 or take the KNA1-ADRNR field . General table for address is ADRC table. You can get the information from here also.
The ateps for query are...
Steps for the T-code: SQVI
1)Give your "query name" and select"create"
2)Give title . Here In Data source " select Table join".
select basis mode -
> press continue.
Press Insert table--> Give the tabes one by one.
Drag the parameter and drop in another table to establish link and link all the tables.
Then select check to check whether your link is correct, then click on back
You will be able to see the tables and fields on left hand side.
Select the appropriate parameters for selection fields and list fields
Selection fields- For selection of data, the initial screen of report.
List fields are nothing but output.
Execute the report.
You will find the initial screen of report.
Give your parameters for output and execute again.
You will receive the desired output.
You can down load the output in spread sheet/ in the format desired.

Using SQVI to generate report of open and released delivery schedule lines

All,
I'm using SQVI to generate an excel spreadsheet for some buyers to show open released schedule lines because they are a 1 line item per scheduling agreement company.
I used the logical database MEPOLDB instead of a table joint and pulled fields from EKKO(vendor, SA #,&purchasing group), EKPO(Material Number), EKEH(schedule line type), and EKET(delivery date, scheduled qty,previous qty).
Does this sound like I'll get the results I want on paper as long as I use the right selection criteria, because the report I'm getting isn't quite what I expect? I am unable to identify which lines are authorized to ship vs. trade-off zone, planning, etc. in the report thus far.

I have faced same requirement. I am not sure about transporting to TST and PROD. I done by this way.
After generating SQVI program in DEV , I assigned that program to a transaction and tested in DEV. Later i have regenarated SQVI in Production. then I assigned the generated Program to same transaction in DEV. And transported the Tcode assignment of program to Production..
About authorization , if its not sensitive report, BASIS can restrict at transaction level.

Creating a service report using SQVI

Hi experts
I am creating a service report using SQVI
The report should have the following fiels
SrvPO No | SrvPO Data | vendor | Stata | City | Type of Srv (Ad\banner|maintnc.) | Amount | Status(open or closed)
I am using the following tables using table join fnc
1. EKKO
EBELN-PO No
AEDAT - PO Data
LIFNR - Vendor
PROCSTAT - Status of PO doc
2.LIFNR
REGIO - State
ORTO1 - City
3. ESSR
TXZ01 - Type of Service (Short text)
4.EKPO
NETWE - Net amount of PO
All the tables are legally join but after executing I am not able to fetch any data or hardly one service PO.
And the selection field will be only From Date and To date.or the Service PO No.

Using SQVI To Generate Program in DEV

I have read a lot about the merits of using SQVI for simple queries and then generating the code and assigning to a transaction code so that others can run the query/report. I have found posts in this forum that suggest using SE93 to create a transaction code and assign the SQVI generated program is the only way that an SQVI query can be shared. I certainly hope they were not assuming that users have SE93 in a production environment??
My question is, if I create this query and generate the program in our DEV environment and then assign it to a transaction code, can this be transported from DEV to TST to PRD intact? Will this work?
One other question, when the program is generated does it also create the required authorization checks? I am using USR* tables for this report, nothing considered sensitive, would any additional authorizations be required to allow just about any user to run the transaction?
Disclosure, I am a power user and not an ABAP specialist.
I appreciate a speedy reply if that is possible.

How can we create Query by using SQVI

Dear Babu rao
Normally, SQVI will be used to join multiple tables. Go to SQVI and do the following:
1) Give some description in "Quickview"
2) Click "Create" button
3) Give some description in "Title"
4) From the tab "Data Source", select "Table Join" and click blue tick
5) Press "Shift + F1"
6) Give the table you wanted and press enter
7) Again Press "Shift + F1"
8) Again give the table you wanted and press enter
9) Press F3
10) On your left screen you can see those two tables with header "List fields" and "Selection Field"
11) Whatever data you want to give as input, (say for example based on sales organisation, you want some report), select the white box under selection field
12) Whatever data you want as report format, select those fields under List fields
13) Execute the report

AGR_1251 &TSTCT Using SQVI?

Hi All,
I need the Roles and its relevant TCodes with its text.When I combined AGR_1251 & TSTCT using SQVI.I used to combine both the tables with TCode field.But it shows as No relationship exists.
For what reason It shows as there is no relationship between 2 table even though it has TCode has common field?
Kindly help me to find the answer.

Where did you find "TCode" as a field in AGR_1251? Mapping of Two table extracts in ONLY possible if and only if there is a Primary Key (a common field) exists in between two Tables.

Problem while creating queries using SQVI

Guys,
I have many diff versions of sap's. 4.6c, 4.7, 4.7uc, 5.0, 5.0uc and so on......
I have to few queries in 4.7 in SQVI, i have to make it in sync in all the othr servers.
I have created all of them in all servers, but while creating in 4.6c, when i am using option "table Join" while creating query in SQVI, the system doesnt take me to next screen.
What could be the problem. Its going to next screen when i use option "table" but not when i use "table joins".
Can v transport these queries ( i mean SQVI queries, not those in sq01 ).

Can we write a Abap code (query ) using the Tcode SQVI?
Apart from doing table joins and getting the report output .
I know we can do it using SQ01 , but i do not have the access for the same.

Unfortunately this does not solve my problem FA module is designed for fiscal year. And it allows you to run the repotrs as at the last date of previous year or last date of current month.
However it does now allow you to run the reports as at some date in the middle of previous year. E.g. 31.5.2009. And these are the numbers I need to get from the system.
Do you have any recommendation?

ABAP REPORT using SQVI, need to hide Layout section

HI,
I have created report in Sqvi and imported in ABAP (se38) now I want to hide "Output Specification" block which asks for layout, how do I hide that? See attachment

You'll need to add some code inside a "at selection-screen output." event - something like:
loop at screen.
if screen-name cs '%LAYOUT'.
screen-active = '0'.
modify screen.
endif.
endloop.

Reporting on Services in POs (using SQVI)

Hi Folks
I'm attempting to create a Quick Viewer report which links Service data in a PO (e.g. Service Master code, Short text etc) with the PO item and the PO header. Problem is, I can't find the join between the service line and the PO item.
Have tried linking the package field in ESLL with the package field in EKPO but these are clearly two different things. I can't see anything else relevant in ESLL and I can't identify any other relevant tables.
Any ideas - I'm sure I'm missing something simple?

Hi David,
I also had a similar requirement and found that SQVI has some limitations. had to develop a custom report.
Link PO number in EKPO to PO number in ESLH. Also link package number from ESLH to ESLL.
You should get quite a few entries because of of the way ESLH & ESLL are structured (pack #, parent pack #, highest pack #).

I've created a query to identify approver from linking several tables. The result data show several duplicate record because I only want to retrieve the User ID. Is there a way to select only Unique Record?

What are the logical database source (SQVI) should i use for quick viewer

Dear expert,
Would like to seek for your help, how to use (SQVI) quick viewer/SAP query to generate the listing of and can I use SQVI -quick viewer and select the data source as logical database source to generate in order to generate the listing of GL account number,GL account descrition , tax category,posting without tax allowed column in the query by company?
Between, what are the data source should I use for logical database to generate the query with listing of GL account number,GL account descrition , tax category,posting without tax allowed column in the query by company?

Thank you for the prompt reply, what I would like the query to generate is the master data GL listing for GL account,GL description,Tax category, posting without tax allowed column where i use BRF as the data source for logical database to generate the quick viewver but the BRF data source do not have the GL description.
How I can join table/join query or what are the data source should i use so that i can able to generate the query with GL master data listing by company code by display GL account,GL description,Tax category, posting without tax allowed?
Between,do you have any reference/link/document on the how to use the SQV1?
Also, what the difference between SQV1 and SQ01 ?
And also what are the sap query,inforset query,quick viewer mean for and what are the difference between them also when should i use sap query,inforset query,quick viewer to generate the query?

The blank row that you get from your second select statement would appear at the end of the report. Put that statement first and it should be at the top of the first page

SQVI - Report for vendor bank details.

Hi all,
I am using SQVI -- Quick viewer reporting tool to get the vendor bank details. for that i am using tables
LFA1
LFBK
BNKA
TIBAN
I joined the above mentioned tables by using table joins. I cross checked the vendors in Tcode: FK03.
But i found that the vendor is not having IBAN number in the transaction, where as list is showing the IBAN number.
So please clarify me why it is happending.

If a vendor is having 2 IBAN numbers, then the first IBAN number is fetching not the two iban numbers.
Why it is not taking the first entry in FK03 tcode.
