  • Error with "Open/Create/Replace File" function with cancel button

    I've attached a very simple VI that embodies what I want to do with my Open File function. I simply want to stop the rest of my program (theoretically encased in the Case Structure) from running if the user deigns not to specify a file location.
    However, if the Cancel button is clicked an error is produced before the rest of the program runs. If you ignore the error and continue, the "cancelled' variable is appropriately made true and the Case Structure runs properly. I simply want to remove the error message LabView gives me.
    Any ideas on why or how?

    The cancel button gives you error code 43 (if I remember correctly). After your file vi's, use the general error handler (GEH) to clear this error (and no other errors). Use
    [exception action]=Cancle Error on Match
    [exception code]=43
    type of dialog=no dialog

  • Java function with Dynamic config throws null pointer exception

    hi Experts,
       I am using dynamic config using java function in my message mapping.
      The source message has a field called "fname".
      The value of "fname" is the input to my java UDF.
      The java UDF code is:
       public String getDynamicFile(String fname, Container container) throws StreamTransformationException{
       String str = fname + ".xml";
    DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
    DynamicConfigurationKey FileName = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http:/"+"/sap.com/xi/XI/System/File","FileName");
    conf.put(FileName, str);
    return str;
       When I test this message mapping I get the following exception:
       Runtime Exception:[java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method com.sap.aii.mapping.api.DynamicConfiguration.put(com.sap.aii.mapping.api.DynamicConfigurationKey, java.lang.String) of an object loaded from local variable '<4>'] in class com.sap.xi.tf._<message mapping>_ method getDynamicFile[test, com.sap.aii.mappingtool.tf7.rt.Context@2e52cb31]
    What am I doing wrong in this UDF?
    Thanks
    Gopal

    Hi,
          Your UDF will run fine in an end to end execution,i.e, during runtime. However, if you want to test your message mapping test tab without the dynamic config UDF throwing an exception, encpasulate the code in a try catch block
    public String getDynamicFile(String fname, Container container) throws StreamTransformationException{
    String str = fname + ".xml";
    try{
    DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
    DynamicConfigurationKey FileName = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http:/"+"/sap.com/xi/XI/System/File","FileName");
    conf.put(FileName, str);
    }catch(Exception ex){}
    return str;
    The above code should run fine when you test in the message mapping test tab.

  • Difficulties replacing some BC functionality with XI (refer to example)

    <b>Difficulties replacing some BC functionality with XI (refer to example)</b>
    I am transferring all interface processing from BC to XI and am having difficulties replacing some of the current BC functionality.  Please refer to my example below
    <b>Current process</b>
    <b>SAP R/3</b>
    SAP R/3 executes an abap that extracts certain data.  This data is passed via a remote function which is configured to point to Business Connector
    <b>Business Connector</b>
    Business Connector takes control and the relevant package does some internal processing then calls the remote enabled function BAPI_ACC_BILLING_POST
    <b>SAP R/3</b>
    Control is returned to SAP R/3 to post the data and on completion control is returned to Business Connector
    <b>Business Connector</b>
    Business Connector again takes control where some more processing is done to generate an xml version of the data prior to returning control back to SAP R/3
    <b>SAP R/3</b>
    Control is returned to the abap immediately following the call to the remote function and processing completes
    The initial synchronous call from SAP R/3 to Business Connector remains open whilst Business Connector executes a subsequent synchronous call to SAP R/3.
    Finally the initial synchronous call in SAP R/3 completes
    <b>Proposed Process</b>
    I am transferring all interface processing from BC to XI and am having difficulties replacing some of the current BC functionality.  In this instance I can set up the initial synchronous call via an XI Integration Process (sync/async bridge).  This allows me to perform subsequent asynchronous calls prior to closing the synchronous bridge
    I have successfully performed synchronous calls to SAP R/3 from XI for different scenarios and have set up the XI design and config in the same manner
    When I try to perform the synchronous posting back to SAP R/3 from within the SA bridge I get the message ‘Message is incomplete. No Sender found’
    Unlike BC, it appears that XI does not allow me to perform the synchronous posting back to SAP R/3 from within the SA bridge.
    <b>Refer to</b> http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/83/d2a84028c9e469e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm <b>for the SAP description</b> To enable the communication between a synchronously calling business system (synchronous outbound interface) and an asynchronously called business system (asynchronous inbound and outbound interface), you can define a sync/async bridge in an integration process. You can only define one sync/async bridge for each integration process.
    How can I replace the current BC functionality using XI?
    Regards,
    Mike

    Hi all,
    I cannot replicate the current BC functionality in XI
    So I will take this opportunity to simplify and improve the design for XI --> R/3

    Mike

  • CRM Survey Suite - Validate fields with custom Java Function

    Hi all,
    Does anybody now how to validate the survey fields when pressing a custom button and before submitting it to the CRM database?
    If I add a custom field, it appears in the html as:
    <a onMouseOver='return true;' href="javascript:void(0)" onClick="return htmlbSL(this,2,'SUBMIT:SUBMIT')" class="sapBtnStd" id="CHECK_VALUES"><nobr>CheckValues</nobr></a>
    Which makes impossible to handle the event with a client side function defined in java script in the html code.
    I've tried to setup the EXAMPLE_DYNAMIC_SURVEY, but I wasn't successful.
    Any tips?

  • Using PL/SQL Function with CLOB types and a Java Source

    Hi people.
    I have some problems trying to use a function in pl/sql with a CLOB parameter to a java source function.
    Here is the problem: I have to read a TXT file and return a CLOB with the data of the file. The reading is done with a java source function.
    The problem is how to read the file without messing the content and return it to the pl/sql function?
    Another problem: If I pass a CLOB as a parameter to a pl/sql function and have to write the content to a file, how to do it without screwing the EOL chars and so?

    pwFile.close();
    } catch (Exception ex) {

    return mensagem;

    Due to Repalce with patterns in  flex, i am facing issue.
    I  want to make cutomize replace function with  parameters
    1 Parameter - String to replace
    2 Parameter - Start Posion.
    3 Parameter - Last position
      which return string value.
    For Example
      replaceInWholeString(str:String, sPos:Number, lPos:Number ):String
    values like
    1st paramter - "asked"
    2nd Paramter - 11
    3rd Paramter -  15
    Original String :: I want to reply
    Output string : I want to asked
    Please Reply ,if someone having solution

    You can use any number of the String methods to acomplish this.
    I would proabably go with something like: slice(...) + input + substr(...);

  • Replacing consolkit's function with systemd

    The arch wiki says that it is possible to replace consolekit's function with systemd.

    Has anyone already done this? I guess there are other packages which have to be recompiled? e.g. gdm and gnome-session, since they depend on consolekit.
    As i'm already using systemd i'd like to give it a try, but i'd feel more comfortable with a howto
    So if anyone has an idea where to find one, i'd appreciate that.

    project how can I do it.
    Edited by: Turkfutuh on Jul 14, 2008 3:00 PM

    Solutions.
    1. Find an existing Java interface library
    2. Write a C executable, use the matlab library and write a communications api. Your java app talks to the communications API.
    3. Write JNI code that does something similar to what is in 2.
    Solutions 2 and 3 require a moderate level of experience in a programming language besides java, probably C or C++.
    Solution 2 requires work in the communications api while 3 requires a similar amount of work via the JNI api.

  • BAPI explorer functions with java

    I am a newbie in SAP.
    I have tested out some sample JCO programs. Then worked fine.
    Now I want to go for some more.
    Is it possible to implement applications like BAPI explorer with JCo ?
    Basically I want to be able to list all the BAPIs with JCo ?
    I have tried "RFC_FUNCTION_SEARCH" with "*" entry for all input values and
    the output was null.
    How do I list all the BAPIs with JCo (Java Program)
    Thanks !!!!

    I was asking so obvious question with simple answer.
    I have figured it out and it worked great. It's been a week since I started JCo program.
    Anyway my problem was RFC_FUNCTION_SEARCH returns output in a table.
    So I had to look up the table for result message.
    Now I am asking another ? I have searched the forum already and couldn't find the answer.
    How do I create the hierarchical view of BAPI with JCo ?
    Basically I want to implement something like BAPI explorer (tree navigator) with Java.
