Replacing Faulty FWSM module in Cluster

Hi,
We have a faulty FWSM module in Cisco 6509 switch in Active/Standby cluster mode
We have purchased a refurbished FWSM module to replace it. It has the same FWSM OS 4.0 (4) and is in factory default configuration
What procedures should I follow to make this unit live and sync the config between the current active unit to this one.
Can one of you please explain me the steps and if an link to an article which explains this will be great

Firstly, insert the newly purchased refurnished Cisco FWSM module into the slot, where the fault Cisco FWSM module was originally located. Second, paste into the configuration from the working unit to this newly purchased refurnished Cisco FWSM module. Note: Please do ensure under the failover commands, one side is primary and the other side is secondary. Lastly, issue the command show failover, to ensure the failover status i.e. NORMAL, is in good working condition.
I’ve done this countless times, you should do just fine. This is easy.

Faulty Bluetooth Module, Need Help to Completely Disable

I have a 2 GHz Core Duo Macbook running 10.6.8 and I am currently having a very frustrating issue with my bluetooth module. When I attempt to sleep my computer it immediately wakes, as addressed by users with faulty bluetooth modules. Bluetooth is also not found in my system profiler so it must be a hardware issue. At this point I am just holding out for a the new macbook pro and am trying to get by with this machine. My question is how can I completely disable bluetooth on my computer so that my mac will not sleep. I do not have any bluetooth devices and am not concerned about regaining bluetooth functionality, I just want my computer to get some sleep. I am familiar with basic terminal commands.

I don't think the wire is part of the Bluetooth. If you enter the BIOS and navigate Security ► I/O Port Access, do you see Bluetooth listed? If so, is it set to Enabled?

Two FWSM module act as Single

We have two switches and TWo FWSM module is inserted into the Two switches .Can I add the FWSM as a separate device instead of module because i can't telnet the fwsm from Switch.Customer is not ready to configure the telnet option.FWSM module is working as a active and active mode..so virtual single ip is configured....How can i add the FWSM module in this network.

Replace Faulty IronPort ESA in a Cluster

I have a cluster of 2 IronPort ESA appliances and one of these is faulty and will not boot. I am awaiting a replacement from Cisco.
I cannot find an exact guide that explains how to re-instate the new appliance to cluster and therefore am making an assumption that the easiest way to do this is as follows:-
1) Physically connect the new device.
2) Login with console and ensure the new device has centralised management feature and all other keys.
3) Configure the management interface with the original machine level IP address from the old configuration of the faulty device.
4) Use Clusterconfig command to join new device to cluster.
The only thing I am concerned about is licensing and serial numbers. I seem to remember that the primary cluster device will check the serial number at some point and therefore if its a new device then it will not join the cluster. If this is the case then I assume we would have to remove the orignal device from cluster and add the new one as a brand new one. This would mean all other machine level configuration would be lost such as IP addresses of Data interfaces and DNS names etc.
Can anyone clarify please. Also can anyone point me to which configuration is required for machine level only.

So - to help out - yes... it would be pretty much...
1) Once you get the RMA appliance, rack and cable the appliance, and bring it online with the quickstart guide. We'll call this ESA3.
2) Once ESA3 is online - you'll need to make sure that you get the RMA on the same matching AsyncOS version as ESA1. (*This may mean you'll need to upgrade ESA1 to get a compairible revision running...) Also, just go ahead and make the IP and hostname the same as you had for ESA2... if not done @ quickstart.
3) Once the version is matching - just transfer over the license/feature keys from the old ESA2 to your new ESA3 (RMA unit):

4) Once licnesing is completed - just join to cluster. (*If you are running 8.5.6 --- clustering is included in the release --- just run clusterconfig on the CLI to assure operation.) From ESA1, running clusterconfig and removemachine - choosing ESA2. From ESA3, clusterconfig and join cluster:

Mac Genius said i need to replace SCREEN due to faulty Bluetooth module

I have a Aluminium Macbook.
It is under Apple care. I took it in today because the bluetooth kept loosing connection and then the Mac says no bluetooth hardware found.
The Genius at the Apple Store said they need to replace the screen because the Bluetooth module "may" be behind the screen as it is not on the airport card anymore.
Can anyone confirm, in the Aluminium Macbook (2008) where is the bluetooth receiver???

Correct. The Bluetooth adapter is not mounted onto the display assembly clamshell. It actually sits behind where it says "MacBook" which use to be the location of the Inverter board on the polycarbonate units (plastic). The Bluetooth adapter on the plastic MacBooks were mounted in front of the right hinge (wedged in between the hinge barrel assembly and the optical drive).
It's not "behind" the screen, but the unit does have to be significantly disassembled in order to get at the Bluetooth module.

Replacement of GE module on Cat6509 switch

My GE module was discovered faulty this morning and as a result, need to replace this module on a Cat6509 switch. My core switch is running VLANs, VTP and EtherChannel technlogies as well. My question is, if I change the GE module, will I need to reconfigure the VLANs etc? Btw, the module description is "SFM-capable 16 port 10/100/1000mb RJ45".

If it gets replaced with the same exact module you shouldn't have to reconfigure anything , the config is kept on the supervisor card.

Functionality
This function module reads the runtime information (nametab) of a table or in general of any type of the ABAP Dictionary. However, the runtime information does not contain any text. You should use the function module DDIF_FIELDINFO_GET to read the runtime information including text (or to determine the domain for table fields).
The types of the ABAP Dictionary are divided into data elements, structured types and table types.
A structured type consists of a sequence of components that are each identified by a unique name. A type is defined for each of these components. In addition to the types of the ABAP Dictionary, you can also use the built-in types of the R/3 System (CHAR, NUMC,...) to define the types of the components.
All its components as well as the fields of its structured components are called the fields of a structured type. The name of a field no longer uniquely identifies it within a structured type. For example, a structured type S could have a structured component F, which itself has a component called F. In this case S would have two fields with the name F. For this reason, its long field name is used to identify a field within a structured type. The long field name is the same as the name of the components for the components of the structured type itself. For the fields of a structured component, the long field name is a concatenation of the name of this structured component, the separator '-' and the long field name of the field in the structured component.
A field whose type is defined by a data element or a built-in type is also called an elementary type. A structured type whose components are all defined as elementary types is called flat. All other structured types are called deep.
This module gets the runtime information for the type whose name is defined in the IMPORT parameter TABNAME. If there is no such type, the exception NOT_FOUND is triggered.
Caution: If the IMPORT parameter ALL_TYPES is not set, only flat structured types are taken into consideration. In this case the exception is also triggered if the specified type is a data element, deep structure or a table type.
If the IMPORT parameter LFIELDNAME is not initial, only structured types having a field with the long name defined by LFIELDNAME are taken into consideration. The exception NOT_FOUND is triggered for all other types.
The internal representation of the runtime object is returned in parameters X030L_WA and X031L_TAB. Depending on the type category, this information is then edited in the corresponding parameters (see documentation about the parameters).
Notes
1. If parameter LFIELDNAME is not initial, X031L_TAB nevertheless contains the description of all fields of the structured type. The decoded form is only determined for the specified field, and the result is copied to DFIES_WA instead of DFIES_TAB. Since decoding for all the fields often takes up most of the runtime for this module, you should set parameter LFIELDNAME if you only need information about one field of the structured type.
This module gets the runtime information about a type. This means that only the currently active version of the type is taken into consideration. If none exists, the exception NOT_FOUND is triggered.
The corresponding function module DDIF_<object type>_GET is used to read the actual definition of a type of the ABAP Dictionary.
Caution: These read modules are much less efficient than the modules for defining the runtime information. You should therefore only use them if the runtime information is not sufficient.

Need Help in Replacement of Function Modules

I am working on Upgrade project from ECC 5.0 to ECC 6.0. I am facing problems for Replacement of two Obsolete Function Modules. Please give me a solution. FM's are as follows.
1) SET_AUTHORITY : This FM is obsolete in ECC 6.0 and there is not alternative FM present in help.sap.com or any other web portal.
2) WS_QUERY : Here as per my knowledge we use class CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES and methods FILE_EXIST or DIRECTORY_EXIST as per the parameters in old FM. For parameter 'FS' we use 'FILE_EXIST' and 'DS' we use 'DIRECTORY EXIST'.
But in our program prev. FM has parameter 'OS' i.e. Operating System.
But there is not method called 'OS EXIST' or similar. Please suggest suitable method.

Obsolete Modules can be used in newer versions, but it is not supported by SAP in case of any technical issues.If you still need a replacement, you can replace it by the source code in the FM SET_AUTHORITY itself and modify according to your needs.

Replace faulty iPod - now some vodcasts in my Library no longer sync to Pod

My iPod was in use for a day when I realized it had a faulty switch. Apple replaced it with no problem.
There had been on the first Pod a number of free Vodcasts, but I had actually played only two of them before exchanging for the new iPod.
Now, I cannot get these two vodcasts to get onto the iPod, although they are in my podcast Library. I have deleted and re-downloaded them. That did not solve it.
Since I began with a clean iPod, the problem must reside with some file in iTunes that "knows" I played these vodcasts, and assumes I don't want them synced. How do I fix this cleanly?
