Report on ODI Execution Log

I am looking for Report on Execution Log so that we candump it in file format and view later for analysis. Report should have step level analysis. Main intension to know which step/package is taking more time.
Any work-around ?

Capture odi error log files

how to capture an odi error log file for an odi package?
Kindly suggest me in this.

ODI execution log is stored in the repository, so you could query it to retrieve the needed information. Also you could use substitution api getPrevStepLog() to retrieve error log (code & message) for the certain step. And for OdiOSCommand you could capture error log in the specified Error file.

Reports on ODI's Execution Log

Please let me know how to export / extract required information from execution log from Operator.
To breif, If I want to know execution time , records inserted,updated,deleted from specific time, Is there any tool or option availble in ODI .

The SNP_SESSION able holds the bulk of the data you are looking for. In terms of the errror row information you will need to query the SNP_CHECK_TAB table which is created when static/flow control is enabled, by default, this table will be created in the work schema of your default physical schema of your DB data server. How to get ODI execution results into ESS log file

Hi,
In out project, we are launching ODI scenario from ESS. Once, we launch the scenarion from ESS, we did not know whether the scenario got executed successfully or not. Is there any way to get the ODI execution result (i.e,. Failure message or success message which we can able to see in Operator window of ODI) into ESS log file.

As per your query, You need see log file for failure execution and for successful execution, you can also use odisendmail option, below is and example, it may helps you
Please arrange below 3 in pkg
1) OdiSqlUnload
2) OdiSendmail ( Odisendmail1 and Odisendemail2 )
3) create an excel file in your local machine (eg: in D: drive Error_log_Report )
Flow in Pkg:
Interface --->OK ----> Odisendmail1
|__>KO ---->OdiSqlUnload ---> OK ----> Odisendmail2
Please enter below details in SqlUnload properties
Target File: Provide Error_log_Report.xls file location (Eg: D:\Error_log_Report.xls)
JDBC Driver: Provide Target DB Drivers
JDBC URL: Provide Target DB JDBC URL
User: Provide Target DB username
Password: provide target DB password
SQL Query: write select query of SELECT FROM targetDB_Schema.E$_table_name (write select query for E$ table)

Need help regarding SAP Report execution log. Here Client wants to develop a report, which displays the information about reports Usage (ABAP Report, ABAP Query and Report Painter).
The report requires the following information.
1. Users who has run the report
2. T-codes of reports
3. Type of report (ABAP Report, ABAP Query and Report Painter)
4. Run times for each instance that the report was run
5. Dates for each instance that the report was run.
Requesting to share the information about the tables or function modules, where I can get the data.

It displays a log of all the details required.

How to view report execution Log files on RAS Server

I wish to view the log files that are generated when a crystal report is run. In my application the crystal report is triggered from java application. The report templates are stored on the BO server. The report is executed converted to PDF and then returned back to java app for viewing. I need the execution logs and the activities performed by the server for this report generation.
1. Where can I find the log file with this information on the server?
2. Are there any setting required to be made to capture these information ? If yes, where and ho can I make these settings ?

Thank you very much for your reply. I am fairly new on working on the Admin side and this is my first opportunity to be managing some tasks of this role. I have majorly been a CR report designer.
The answers to your questions are as below :
1. The reports are developed using CR 2008.
2. I have access to the CMC. The product version as specified in the settings tab is Product Version: 12.1.0.882 .
3. The Dev application programming language is Java(Spring,hibernate etc)
4. I have access to BusinessObjects Enterpriseu2122 XI Release 2 Administratoru2019s Guide. However I couldnt find anything that can give me report execution information.
Am I looking at the correct application (CMC) and docs ? If not, what is the correct BO application I should be using to enable Iogging. In the settings tab, I can however see that Auditing is enabled. Below is the complete information I can see under Properties in the Setting tab of the CMC application.

Ora-07445 reported in the alert log file

Hi all,
We are using the following platform:-
OS: Solaris Operating System (SPARC 32-bit)
Oracle Server - Enterprise Edition / Product Version: 9.2.0.5.0
We encountered the following problem:-
There is Ora-07445 reported in the alert log file.
"ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kgghash()+308] [SIGSEGV] [Address not mapped to object] [0x3222
000] [] []reported in the database."
These errors are signaled in more than 3 independent, unexplained, occurrences every day.
When this error occurred while User was accessing the application system, by right the case will be shown on the system, but they were no case found.

VAT REPORT BASED ON CURRENT LOGGED IN USER

I am Working for a client and it they are having 9 branches and for each branch there will be divided by different Series and different Tax Codes and they want a TAX Report based on the User Logged in.Each User Will be Assigned a branch and in the tax code an UDF(Location) has been created and for each tax code location has been entered there.
So when User 1 of Branch 1 is running the report then the report should show only the record of that particular Branch 1 and
     When User 2 of Branch 2 is running the Report then it should show only branch 2 records .
I Tired using an FMS to record the Current User Logged in but i am unable to include this in the below query.

In the Below query , the Report needs to be filtered automatically based on the Current user Logged in(User who is running the report).
There will be different Branches and Each Branch has One O Two Licenses and whenever the User1 Of Branch 1 runs the report then the report should display only the record related to that particular branch within the given date range.
So ,to differentiate the Tax codes for each Branches we have created an UDF(Location) in tax codes and enter the branch name in the UDF and also each branch will have 3 different document series and each series.
Instead of Giving the Location as a Parameter to choose we need to filter the report by the User logged in .

Passing values to subreport in SSRS throwing an error - Data Retrieval failed for the report, please check the log for more details.

I have the subreport calling from the main report. The subreport is based on MDX query agianst the SSAS cube. some dimensions in cube has values 0 and 1.
when I try to pass '0' to the sub report as the parameter value, it gives an error "Data Retrieval failed for the report, please check the log for more details".
Actually I am using table for storing these parameter values. In the main report I am calling this table (dataset) and passing these values to subreport.
so I have given like [0],[1] and this works fine. when I give only either [0] or [1] then it is throwing an error.
Could you please advise on this.

Based on the current description, I understand that there is no issue if you pass two values from main report to subreport, while the issue occurs when passing one value to subreport.
To narrow down the issue, I want to confirm whether the subreport can run if there is only [0] or [1] in the subreport. If so, it indicates the query statements exist error in the subreport. If it’s not the case, this shows the issue occurs during passing
values from main report to subreport. To make further analysis, please post the details of query statements of the subreport to the forum.

The data written to the security audit log correspond to the DDIC structures RSLGENTR (up to release 4.6) and RSAUENTR2 (in newer releases). DDIC structures can be viewed using TA SE11 (data type).
