Required Field name and Table name
Hi All,
My customer is extracting DATA from SAP and send it to Oracle. In oracle we have 3 fields
1. Unapplied Amount: means for example, there is a invoice for $50.00 and customer sends the payment of $100.00, so customer paid $50.00 extra, this $50.00 will be called as a Unapplied amount.
2. DEPOSIT DATE : Now the day when the customer sends the payment will be called DEPOSIT DATE
3. GL_DATE: On the day when invoice gets cleared and updates the GL, will be called as GL_DATE
If any one has any idea regarding the above fields and tables please let me know.
Thanks & Best Regards
Shashi

if i am right in understanding your question, then you wanted to know the technical details about the project number or should i say project id, from which wbs elements are created, on which we finally place the orders.
if this is what you want, then for getting the prject number for a particular order, at the table level, follow the below steps -
using the po number or order number as an input in ekkn table, along with the po line item, you will get the wbs element for the order number for that particular po line item.
and using this wbs element as an input in prps table, you can find the current project number.
finally using this current project number as an input in the table proj, you can find the project id or project number = proj-pspid
so you will require 3 tables to get the required details.
hope this helps you.

hi
in my specifications i have Complete Order is there
which field i need to take,
at report complete order need one check box its completed need check box? or leave blank how can i take this field?Hi Suneel,
There are so many fields which says that the order is completed.
The main logic depends on area of you are working,
If you take Sales & Distribution then the order completes after the generation of the Billing order Doc.
If you take Material Management then the order completes with Delivery order Doc
If you take COPA then the order completes if the Accounting document fully paid or completed.
If you take finance the order completes if the Accounting document is paid fully paid in AR.
for these different situations we have different fields.
Please go through the tables with SD, MM, COPA, FI as per your requirement.
Only functional people can give you correct field name and data source or table level information for this type of issues.

Making First Name a Required Field
Hello everyone!
I'm attempting to make the first name attribute on the user form (For direct user creation via xelsysadm) required.
I have 5 current user accounts (And tons of old deleted accounts), all of which have first names. However, when I go to the "User Configuration" page and attempt to make the field required, OIM 11g tells me that all users must have a value for that field....
Is there an easier way to do this (Such as metadata manipulation?) If so, which xml is it?
Lastly, how can I get UDFs to be displayed on request-based user creation. I've used an authorization policy to view/modify the attribute, but it still doesn't show up.
Thanks in advance!Let's do it by parts.
1 - To check which accounts don't have a "First name", connect to your database repository as OIM account owner (usually DEV_OIM):
select usr_login, usr_first_name, usr_last_name from usr
where usr_first_name is null
order by usr_login2 - The metadata xml file is /file/User.xml, use the metadata import/export feature to modify the required fields;
3 - Follow BB's tip, and that note will show you how to do it. -

vvvHi,
It is always better to check with your concerned functional consultant.
In initial search you can make use of SE84 --> ABAP Dictionary --> Fields --> Table fields.

Check for required fields before locking subforms and submitting
Hello,
I have a 5-page form with many questions, to be completed by the original requestor and multiple approvers. What I'm trying to do is have the original requestor's Submit button on p. 3 lock the input on the first three pages, but first check if all those fields have some content. I currently have all the fields on pp. 1-3 set to "Required" in the object properties, but my script still locks them when there's is one empty one. Here's what I have:
//Lock portions of form
Page1.access = "readOnly"
Page2.access = "readOnly"
Page3.access = "readOnly"
//Save document, allow user to change name
app.execMenuItem("SaveAs");
//Submit via e-mail
Submit_REAL.event__click.submit.target = "mailto:[email protected]" +
"?subject=Subject text" +
"&body=Message";
Submit_REAL.execEvent("click");
The automatic check for required fields happens after the pages get locked. I would like the check to stop the process before it locks the pages. Is there any way to check all at once that all "Required" fields on those pages have some content before allowing the script to proceed? I know how to script it to manually check the 50 or so questions on those pages, but I would like to avoid that. Thanks for any help.There are a few problems that I can see from the start. First, your code is going to pick up EVERY node that exists on these pages. Some of those nodes will not have a rawValue, and some will not have an actual name. As an example, you can take your code and create a text field to dump all of the names of the nodes that you get when you pull in all of the nodes this way. Here's an example:
The result:
Now, the question is, do you have a consistent naming convention for your fields that might be empty? That could be text fields, radio button lists, etc. For instance, I always prefix the names of objects in order to more easily keep track of what they are in scripts. Since I'm doing that, I can check the name of the field for tf, nf, rbl, cb, or whatever I have included to make sure that I'm checking an actual field before I check for things like rawValue.
var nodeName = oNodes.item(nNodeCount).name;
if (nodeName.indexOf("tf")>-1 || nodeName.indexOf("rbl") > -1 || /*check other field types*/) {
//insert your code to check for empty answers here
As for your line 7 issue. The syntax problem is that you've put extra parentheses in your if statement. Take out the parentheses that are just before and after the or "||".
*This is my fourth attempt to reply. Something was going on with Adobe/Jive earlier, I suppose. -
Can field names not start with a single letter camel case?
I am using Hibernate 3.6, JPA 2.0, and Spring 3.0.6. I have fields in my objects like the following:
class PersonContact {
Long eAddressCpId;
ElectronicAddress eAddress;
I use field access (in my orm files) and queries/inserts/etc work without an issue. The fields are both in the class as well as in the orm files. But on startup of the application, the JPA configuration load spits out warnings:
2011-02-22 15:38:10,785 [[STANDBY] ExecuteThread: '3' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] WARN org.hibernate.cfg.annotations.reflection.JPAOverridenAnnotationReader - Property com.foo.model.contactpoint.ElectronicAddress.eAddress not found in class but described in <mapping-file/> (possible typo error)

If I change my field names to be from eAddress to electronicAddress and eAddressCpId to electronicAddressCpId , then I don't get these warnings.
Is there requirements around the field names?
Thanks..jayHi,
If you have this PersonContact.eAddress in your mapping file, Hibernate will look in PersonContact for
1 a public field called eAddress
2 a public member method called getEAddress (Or geteAddress).
3 a public member method called isEAddress(Or isAddress)
Your fields aren't public, so my guess is that getEAddress is found. From this "get" is stripped away and the rest is "decapitalized".
This decapitalize method has these lines:
if (name.length() > 1 && Character.isUpperCase(name.charAt(1)) &&
Character.isUpperCase(name.charAt(0))){
return name;
}So yes, I think there is a requirement with fields names. (Or rather getter names, since fields aren't decapitalized)
You could try and change your mapping file into PersonContact.EAddress to see if I'm right.
Btw, I am not a Java programmer, so this is what I could manage from a poor mans view at this (Open) source of Hibernate's.

The field name lengths in the Citadel database are approaching 80 characters when Citadel adds the total path to each field. I am saving data from a process running on computer #1 to computer #2. I am using OPC and to select the analog input values require an extremely long length to the field names.
i.e.
"\\Dispatchbd1\Freq_Process\FreqOPC.'OPC DAQ Items'.'Analog Input'.'PHS Narrow Freq'" is just one of my field names. When you have 75 values in a database that you want to look at this long name gets discouraging. Any help would be appreciated.Hi Wapa,
You are right the names are a bit long. Citadel stores the absolute names (includes computer and process name), to make sure the names are unique. For example if process1 and process2 have both Pot1 and you are storing the data to the same database, unless you log it with a process name and computer name you would get a conflict - (if there is just Pot1 you would not know from which process).
So, the computer and process parts are always there. The Item name has to be also included, but you have more choise there. The member ('OPC DAQ Items'.'Analog Input'.''PHS Narrow Freq') can be aliased to anything you want (and is valid). Go to the Edit database - select the item in the second window - select the datatype - type in alias (for example item1) - check the log to
historical database and hit save (you are going to get a warning - don't worry about it, just make sure the alias (item1) you typed is is not already an existing item - because of the folder structure exposed by DAQ OPC you'll be fine).
Now instaed of using "\\Dispatchbd1\Freq_Process\FreqOPC.'OPC DAQ Items'.'Analog Input'.'PHS Narrow Freq'" you can go with "\\Dispatchbd1\Freq_Process\FreqOPC.item1" - you can stop loggin the original member.
If you need to go even shorter, you can create an expression object for every member you want to log and then log the expression. Then you get to something like:
"\\Dispatchbd1\Freq_Process\Exp1"
I hope this helps.
