Requirement in pricing procedure

whta is the use requirement in pricing procedure?  gurus please explain me briefly?

Hi Durga,
Requirement:
• It is a routine that is written by an ABAP consultant according to the business requirement.
• By defining Requirement in condition technique we can restrict the access of condition type.
• To understand the concept, we will take the example of the Rebates. Rebates are to be included during the billing document processing and not in the sales document processing. As rebates are given on the delivered quantity and not on the ordered quantity (in case of cut-off period for rebates).
• For rebates we use the condition types BO01 to BO05, and in the Requirement column we give the value 24 which is "Only in Billing Document".
• This Requirement will ensure that these condition types will appear only during the billing document processing.
• If new Requirements are to be defined we follow the procedure given below.
o Go to T.Code: VOFM. - Maintain Requirements & Formulas
o Click on the "Requirements" in the top menu and then click on "pricing".
o We have a list of requirements, we can ask ABAP consultant to create new requirement based on the client requests.
o And we assign the application type like V - Sales/Distribution etc.
Hope this info has been useful.

    Hi Gurus.,
First of all thank you very much for giving me so tremendous response, But my client requirement is,
He has one customer and for that customer when raising an order ,for some orders Tax shouldnot caliculate and for some orders Tax should be caliculated,
For example :  If he gives price 100,Then the base price should be 100,For some orders he  gives price as 130 rs which is inclusive of tax like 110 should be the base price and 20 rs tax should get caliculated
So i have tried in the pricing procedures and we have standard pricing procedure RVAA01 & RVAB01 ,In which RVAB01 is the price inclusive of tax procedure,We can assighn different pricing procedures if any of the combination in OVKK is changed,But he dont want to change the combination in OVKK.
So client asks now when he raise an order he decides how the price should be caliculated, i.e the price may be he give price or price inclusive tax,of which the pricing procedure should automatically split the tax and price accordingly,He is asking in the way like when we raise a sales order we should do like a pop up box should appear asking which pricing procedure should be selected,So on selecting the pricing procedure the order should caliculate based on the selected pricing procedure
    Thanks & Regards

  • Pricing procedure mm Packing and forwarding to be calculated on Basic price

    Hi experts
we are having one pricing procedure where in details are as follows.
    basic price                                                 100
    excise                                                           12.36
    total                                                             112.36
    P & F 2 %  0n (112.36)                                   2.24
    total                                                             114.60
    Vat 5 % 0n (114.60)                                       5.73
    Grand total                                                   120.33
Now we require new pricing procedure wherein  Packing & forwarding to be calculated on basic price & not on basic + excise
so can we change in same pricing procedure or we have to create new ?
Can you elaborate with the  configuration steps ?  Any changes required in Tax procedure also or not ?
    Thanks in advance
    regards

    Hi,
No need you can add the condition type to the pricing procedure at spro--mm---purchasing--pricing procedure ---calculation schema with proper calculation to get the percentage on base price and add to the total .

  • Pricing procedure execution...

    Hi Folks,
How SAP reads the pricing procedure..
    Example
    Con.Type      Requirement        Routine
    ZSAA            601                     901
    ZSAB            602                     902
Doubt 1: -Is system reads this pricing procedure line by line or coulmn by column?, In the debug we noticed it goes column by colmun? why?
Doubt 2: - I want to know the value found for ZSAA during the execution of 602 requirement. Example scenario is if ZSAA is more than 100$ don't execute ZSAB.

    Pricing Procedure:
    Determination of Pricing Procedure:
In SD, Pricing Procedure is determined based on Sales Area (Sales Organization + Distribution Centre + Division) + Customer Pricing Procedure + Document Pricing Procedure through T.Code: OVKK. Sales Area is determined in Sales Order Header Level. Customer Pricing Procedure is determined from Customer Master. Document Pricing Procedure is determined from Sales Document Type / Billing Type (if configured). Once the pricing procedure is determined, Condition records are fetched. If appropriate condition records are found, the price is determined. If Mandatory pricing condition is missing, system will through an error message.
    Configuration of Pricing Procedure:
    Step 1:
Condition table (T.Code: V/04): If existing condition table meets the requirement, we need not create a new condition table. Considering the requirement for new condition table, the configuration will be done in spro as follows: IMG --> Sales & Distribution --> Basic Function --> Pricing Control --> Condition Table (select the required fields combination, which will store condition record).
    Step 2:
Access Sequence (T.Code: V/07): If existing access sequence meets the requirement, we need not create a new access sequence. Considering the requirement for new sequence, the configuration will be done in spro as follows: IMG --> Sales & Distribution --> Basic Function --> Pricing Control --> Access Sequence (Access sequence is made up of Accesses (Tables) & the order of priority in which it is to be accessed. Here we assign the condition table to access sequence.
    Step 3:
Condition Type (T.Code: V/06): If existing condition type meets the requirement, we need not create a new condition type. Considering the requirement for new condition type, the configuration will be done in spro as follows: IMG --> Sales & Distribution --> Basic Function --> Pricing Control --> Condition Type. It is always recommended to copy an existing similar condition type & make the neccessary changes. Here we assign Access sequence to Condition type.
    Step 4:
    a. Pricing Procedure (T.Code: V/08):  It is recommended to copy a similar pricing procedure & make the neccesary changes in new pricing procedure. Pricing Procedure is a set of condition type & arranged in the sequence in which it has to perform the calculation. Considering the requirement for new Pricing Procedure, the configuration will be done in spro as follows: IMG --> Sales & Distribution --> Basic Function --> Pricing Control --> Pricing Procedure --> Maintain Pricing Procedure.
    b. Pricing Procedure (T.Code: VOK0): After maintaining the pricing procedure the next step will be determination of pricing procedure. Configuration for determining pricing procedure in SPRO is as follows: IMG --> Sales & Distribution --> Basic Function --> Pricing Control --> Pricing Procedure --> Determine Pricing Procedure.
    5. Condition record (T.Code: VK11 / VK12): Condition record is a master data, which is required to be maintained by Core team / person responsible from the client. During new implementation, the condition records can be uploaded using tools like SCAT, LSMW, etc. Condition Record is maintained in T.Code: VK11 / VK12, which are captured in Sales Order & Billing.
Also check document pricing procedure in Sales Document Type (T.Code: VOV8 - Sales order Type, VOFA: Billing Type (If Required)), customer pricing procedure in Customer Master Data (T.Code: XD02), ... are in place.

    Rajesh Banka

  • Pls help in MM Pricing procedure?

    Dear Gurus,
clients wants to implement one new condition type "exmn" to sto pricing proc "xm1000".their requirement is as below:
Additional condition is required to implement minimum excise tax calculation:
    "exmn" - Excise Tax Minimum
Condition exmn should not be mandatory as the same pricing procedures are being used for Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, but minimum excise tax calculation rule is not applicable for Lithuania.
System should check, if minimum excise tax is required (if it was defined).
If the result of the standart excise tax calculation is lower than minimum excise tax rate, then "exmn" is applicable for the product and condition "exmn" will be used.
kindly guide me...is ROUTINE required in pricing procedure?
    Pls help..

Pls look into this issue gurus and provide ur valuable suggestions..

  • Standard Pricing Procedure Control Options

    Hi,
Need to know the use of columns in control tab of the pricing procedure like: counter,  From & To with an example.
    Say i have 10 - 100 steps ....
In the 50th step i have From as 10 and To as 40......what will happen for the 50 th step condition value....Also, in the 50 th step you have condition type and condition records are maintained.......
    Regards

    Hi,
Hope the below reply helps you.
    Step:
Number that determines the sequence of the conditions with in a procedure.
It indicates the position of the condition type in pricing procedure.
    Ex.: 10, 15 etc.
    Counter:
System uses the counter to count the steps and also it can be used to count mini steps of same condition types. So that number of steps can be reduced in the pricing procedure and hence enhancing the system performance.
Access number of the conditions with in a step in the pricing procedure.
During automatic pricing, the system takes into account the sequence specified by the counter.
    Condition Type:
It represents pricing element in pricing procedure as a base price, discount, freight and tax.
The condition type is used for different functions. In pricing, for example, the condition type lets you differentiate between different kinds of discount; in output determination, between different output types such as order confirmation or delivery note; in batch determination, between different strategy types.
    Ex.: PR00 - Price
    K004 - Material Discount
    K005 - Customer/Material Discount
    K007 - Customer Discount.
    Description:
System copies description of condition type from its description (V/06).
    From and To:
        1. From: This can be used as a base to the condition type for calculating further value.
        2. From and To: The range between the steps from and to can be used to specify the range between same condition types. So that depending upon the condition type, the system deducts or adds the total value of those condition types from specific common source.
    Manual:
This indicator specifies whether the specific condition type can be determined manually during sales order processing.
If we check the box then the entry is going to be manual, if we uncheck it, it is going to be automatic.
For Base Price and Taxes, the entry should be automatic.
For Discounts and Freights, The entry should be manual.
If we check the box, in VA01 when we go to conditions at the header/item level, the condition type will not be listed. If we require we will have to manually enter it.
If we uncheck the box, in VA01 when we go to conditions at the header/item level, the condition type will be listed.
    Mandatory:
This indicator specifies that particular condition type is mandatory in the pricing procedure.
If we check the box, then in VA01 at the header/item level in the conditions tab, if we delete the value in the condition type and try to save the document then system will not allow us to do it and throws an error.
If we uncheck the box, then in VA01 at the header/item level in the conditions tab, if we delete the value in the condition type and try to save the document then system will allow us to save it, without giving any error.
Mandatory check box should be checked in condition types which are compulsorily required in pricing procedure. Ex.: PR00, MWST.
If the condition type is checked with mandatory option, then value should be maintained for that condition type, otherwise the system will not allow the user to process the document.
    Statistical:
This indicator if it is activated will not allow the value of the condition type to be taken into net value calculation.
It is used only for information purposes only.
This indicator causes a surcharge or discount to be set in the document statistically (that is, without altering the value).
This is commonly used for condition types
    SKTO - Cash Discount
VPRS - Cost (Moving average price/Standard Price).
    Print:
The value of this field specifies whether line item can be printed or not in the sales document and at what level it is to be printed.
    Subtotal:
The value of this field determines where the values of subtotals to be captured i.e. in which table and which field.
Controls whether and in which fields condition amounts or subtotals (for example, a customer discount or the cost of a material) are stored.
If the same fields are used to store different condition amounts, the system totals the individual amounts.
These condition amounts or subtotals are used as a starting point for further calculations. You may, for example, want a subtotal of all the discounts included in the pricing of a sales order.
    Requirement:
It is a routine that is written by an ABAP consultant according to the business requirement.
By defining Requirement in condition technique we can restrict the access of condition type.
To understand the concept, we will take the example of the Rebates. Rebates are to be included during the billing document processing and not in the sales document processing. As rebates are given on the delivered quantity and not on the ordered quantity (in case of cut-off period for rebates).
For rebates we use the condition types BO01 to BO05, and in the Requirement column we give the value 24 which is "Only in Billing Document".
This Requirement will ensure that these condition types will appear only during the billing document processing.
If new Requirements are to be defined we follow the procedure given below.
Go to T.Code: VOFM. - Maintain Requirements & Formulas
Click on the "Requirements" in the top menu and then click on "pricing".
We have a list of requirements, we can ask ABAP consultant to create new requirement based on the client requests.
And we assign the application type like V - Sales/Distribution etc.
AltCty - Condition formula for alternative calculation type:
It is again a Routine that is written by ABAP Consultant.
It is an alternative formula for the condition type that can be used instead of standard formulas.
For example, let us take the Profit Margin which can be both + / - , so here this routine will help us in generating the value which can be either + or -. Profit margin is not a condition type so it cannot be classified as +ve or -ve in the V/06.
    Ex.: 950 0 Profit Margin 11.
So we assign 11 - Profit Margin.
If new routines are to be defined we follow the procedure given below.
Go to T.Code: VOFM. - Maintain Requirements & Formulas
Click on the "Formulas" and then on the "Condition Values".
We have a list of routines, we can ask ABAP consultant to create new routines based on the client requests.
And we assign the application type.
AltCBV - Alternative formula for condition base value:
Formula for determining the condition basis as an alternative to the standard.
It is again a Routine that is written by ABAP Consultant.
It is used as a basis to calculate value of the condition type instead of using it from the "FROM" column.
    Ex.: Freight - KF00.
Freight is calculated based on weight, volume etc. and not on the base price. In pricing there is no entry of weight from which the value can be referred like we do for discounts using base price. We have to get the value from the Material master.
In this column we can mention the value as 12 - Gross Weight or 13 - Net Weight.
During pricing, the system will consider the value that is mentioned in this column and determine the freight based on this value.
Suppose we have Net weight: 100 kgs and Gross Weight: 150 kgs. And if we mention 13 in this column then the Freight condition KF00 will be calculated using the weight as 100 kgs.
    AcyKy - Account Key/ Accrls - Accruals:
The values of the Sales Revenues, Sales Deductions, Freight Revenues, Tax Revenues, and Rebate Accruals etc. are going to be posted in the respective G/L accounts in Fi Module.
In order to do this we assign account keys/ accruals to the different condition types based on their classification. The classification shown below.
    ERB Rebate sales deduct.
    ERF Freight revenue
    ERL Revenue
    ERS Sales deductions
    ERU Rebate accruals
    For Ex.,
For all Price condition types like PR00 etc. we assign ERL - Revenue.
For all Discount condition types like K004, K005 etc. we assign ERS - Sales Deductions.
For all Freight condition types KF00 etc. we assign ERF - Freight Revenues.
For all Rebates condition types BO01 to BO05 we assign in Account key ERB - Rebates Sales deductions and for Accruals ERU - Rebate Accruals.
This account keys and accruals are in turn assigned to respective G/L accounts. So the system posts respective values in respective G/L accounts in Fi-Co Module.
This also one of the areas of SD - Fi Integration. SD consultants assign the account keys and Fi Consultants assign the respective G/L accounts in T.Code:VKOA.

16 columns - Define Pricing Procedure
    •     Select the pricing procedure which is the standard and copy it and create our own pricing procedure.
    •     Highlight it and double click the Control icon in the LHS screen.
    •     We can see that there are 16 columns in the pricing procedure, these are going to be used by the system to control the condition types.
    •     The detail description of each column is given below.

    Hi,
Please note pricing procedure will be based on client or vendor or Purchasing organization.
If the pricing procedure is based on purchase organization then as per your query it seems you have just created a new plant then no problem the pricing procedure which is assigned to your purchasing organization will be triggered automatically no need to assign  any where.
If it is based on vendor then you have to maintain the vendor schema  and assign in the vendor master purchase view in the field schema group vendor.
Please let me know if have any further query.

  • New pricing procedure for invoice correction

    Hi ALL,
We want a new pricing procedure during invoice correction request.
Scenario:When we execute a sales order ,create a delivery & create a billing  docuemnt with z@1111 a pricicng procedure.
Now we want to create an invoice coreection with different pricicng procedure Z@0002.
    can any one help!!!
    Regards,Rajneesh

Maintain a new Document Pricing Procedure in Invoice correction request. This will help in determining new pricing procedure based on assignment in T.Code: OVKK.

  • Pricing procedure(Condition technique)

    Hi All
Can someone provide me all the configuration steps in pricing procedure in MM...

Select the pricing procedure which is the standard and copy it and create our own pricing procedure.
Highlight it and double click the Control icon in the LHS screen.
We can see that there are 16 columns in the pricing procedure, these are going to be used by the system to control the condition types.
The detail description of each column is given below.
1.From: This can be used as a base to the condition type for calculating further value.
1.{+}From and To: + The range between the steps from and to can be used to specify the range between same condition types.
If we un-check the box, in VA01 when we go to conditions at the header/item level, the condition type will be listed.

  • Pricing procedure - Formula / Requirement

    Hello,
I have a requirement for sales and distribution as follows:
Condition ZXXX has the price of the material determined  by an access sequence
Another condition type (YXXX) has to be reported and it´s value should be calculated as follows:
    YXXX = ZXXX * Q (where Q will be a percentage)
How should I do this in the pricing procedure ? is there any requirement or formular that already does something like this ?
YXXX will be calculated only if condition ZXXX is in the sales order
    Kind Regards.

This is my code but I don´t know if im updating correctly the field:

  • Pricing Procedure Requirment

    Dear guru's,
my client requirment is as follows.
we have Two materials one is Service and other is Trading Material. Here service material is not collected any VAT Tax. Where as Trading Material needs to calculate VAT Tax.But these Two Materials are in one Sales Area.Document Type is one only.
Now is there any way to use Two Pricing Procedures for One Sales Area and One Sales Document Type.
                 kindly anybody guide.
    Thank you
    suribabu

    Hello,
    This is very normal scenario...
Say you are Selling a Air Conditioner & also charging Rs. 1,500 for Installation. Here you need to charge VAT on A/c but there would be no VAT (instead it would be Service Tax) on Installation (Service Item)
As you will have two seperate LIne Item in Sales Order, Maintain different Tax classification ('0' in case of Service) for Material & Service.
Also in Material master of Service, in Sales view there would be Tax Classification indicators. Maintain '0' for the VAT condition type.
Another option, if in the Key Combination of your VAT Condition Record if there is Material code, then dont maintain VAT Condition for Service Item. Thus it will not at all appear in the Sales Order.
    Hope this helps...
    Thanks,
    Jignesh Mehta

  • Requirements not fullfilled for Condition type - Pricing Procedure

When I am doing the pricing procedure, the error thrown is "Requirements not fullfilled for Condition type". Can any one suggest how to fix this problem ?

    Hi Sunil,
Please first of all check the condition type in Pricing Procedure. In condition type column check the requirement. Here conditon is,  once requirement is fulfilled which you have mentioned in the condition type then only it will be executed. Take a help of  ABAP'er regarding this requirement if it is customized requirement.
We should know the purpose of requirement in condition type.
