Resize Application/Title Window

Below is the beginning code that is currently in place:

Hi,
Try setting the X and Y properties of your TitleWindow to 0.
Also set the cornerRadius of the TitleWindow to 0.

Yosemite FileVault resizes application reopened windows after login

HI,
I have a weird behaviour of reopened application windows (Reopen windows when logging back in feature) after I switched on the FileVault disk encryption. I think that it could be due to the fact that login screen is in 1280x800 resolution and my set resolution is 1680x1050. FileVault has different login process, when I had it switched off I did not notice this issue.
Now when I log into the system I can see all application windows at the top left corner with the smaller screen size than the ones which have been when I shut down the computer.
I have MacBook PRO 2013 Retina, Yosemite OS X 10.10 (14A389)
Does anybody have the same issue?

I am just seeing if anyone has a suggestion. The scenario is oddly similar. I had 2 drive in. First drive was being copied to second drive with Carbon Copy Cloner. First drive had some bad sectors and performance issues. Second drive wouldn't start up the system reliably, but the data was there. Installed a new drive, installed OS X 10.10.1. Everything runs great if I leave it there. Once I migrate the data from the 2nd drive in place, the loginwindow process slowly creeps up until 300 copies are running along with over 60 SecurityAgents. All memory is being used and the system is a challenge to work with (virtually impossible).
I am assuming a corrupt file is getting copied during the transfer, but I have no way to know what that file is. If it makes a difference, all loginwindow processes except "loginwindow console" are owned by root. "loginwindow console" is owned by my account as expected.

How to set the WebDynpro application title (IE windows title)?

I would like to set the WebDynpro application title according to the current transaction ID. This title is the IE windows title that is shown on the upper left-corner of the IE browser.
Rule: [Object Instance Information] u2013 [Application Title] u2013 [Browser Title]
For example: Trans. <No.> - <My App> - Windows Internet Explorer
I would like to set <No.> dynamically on run-time according to my current transaction number.
I have this piece of code that gets a reference to the application info:
data: lr_app_info TYPE REF TO if_wdr_rr_application.
lr_app_info ?= wdr_task=>application->application_info.
And there is lr_app_info->get_description() method to have the description of the application, but there is no set method.
The application description can be hardcoded in:
tx. SE80, opening the WebDynpro component, then accessing its WebDynpro application. In the properties tab, there is a description field. I need to append transaction ID to it.
Do you know any way to implement this? This issue is for WebDynpro ABAP.

My question is related to the title of the Internet Explorer that we all see on the top left-corner. For WebDynpro , this is the WebDynpro application title. How can we change it?

Application Catalog window not resizing

Hi all,
I'm not sure if this is an SCCM or h/w tablet issue. On a Lenovo Helix 3698 tablet when I open SCCM 2012 SP1 Application Catalog I have to scroll way over to the right to see Category and Requires Approval columns and the INSTALL button even with the screen
maximized. But this is the only app that does this - every other app and MS tool resizes to the window so I am not scrolling all over the place. And On a desktop in the same SCCM site the Application Catalog window resizes itself just fine.
Has anyone seen this and know how to resolve it?

I think this might be caused by browser.
Please try to open the Application Catalog using another browser.
Try to turn add-ons off in Internet Explorer.
If the step 2 not works, please try to reset the IE.

Resizing an apps window interrupts mplayer

I use mplayer to play music from internet radio but when I resize another apps window, the music is interrupted. I have an AMD Athlon 64x2 2.4GHz machine and this seems rather unacceptable to me... ;-) I have always used a custom-compiled kernel on my Arch x86-64 installation but this problem seems to have started with using a custom 2.6.24.x kernel.
Any hints on what kernel config item(s) could produce this problem? Is it a matter of unfair multitasking resource allocation?

On the mini, try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account. Disconnect all peripherals except those needed for the test. Shut down the computer and then power it back up after waiting 10 seconds. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear and again when you log in. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. When you reboot normally, the initial reboot may be slower than normal. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application un-installer. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don’t do them all at once.

Problem Description: If we had loaded youtube.com video url in a view stack and navigate to other index of stack or away from we UI screen within the same native window video or embeded tag of flash player or any other embed object will be displayed on top of all screens layer in same position of where the object should be placed in side of html loader only.
Steps to Reproduce:
1) go to http://get.straweb.com/StraWebBrowser/StraWebBrowser.air download and install
2) load 2 tabs and in the 3 tab load video player of youtube.com which will a sample video
before completing the load of 3 tab which trying to load video from youtube.com, navigate to other tabs 1 or 2 in few second once the flash player of youtube.com video player is load it will display in the current tab or UI screen.
3) Try navigating to other tabs than youtube.com loaded tab you see the flash player is on top it stable.
4) navigate to 3 tab and try to navigate to other tab you can observe that so how it will not show that flash player and only visible in that 3 tab which is fine.
Actual Result: Embedded tag of html page displaying on top of all layers of Adobe air application native window
Expected Result: Embedded tag of html page should only displayed in side htmlloader
This you can replicate in any adobe air plugin update and on any Hardware and Environment.
Applicable to all sdk versions of adobe air.

I am no longer able to resize my firefox window horizontally, any ideas?

I noticed earlier that I can no longer resize my firefox window horizontally, the border seems to have disappeared. I've searched, using google and various other sites to find a solution to this and I'm coming up short. I've tried multiple things, safe mode, hitting F11, clearing the cache/cookies, even reinstalling. The issue still exists and I don't know what caused it. It is also affecting various flash applications, they no longer scale to the window size and parts are cut off. Any ideas?

I can resize it using the arrow keys after selecting size but it doesn't solve my issue - once resized I still cannot use my mouse to resize it like I've always been able to. I can resize it Vertically fine but Horizontally doesn't work regardless of what I've tried. I gave thought to the localstore being corrupted as well and even tried making a new profile, it didn't solve the issue. I have added a screenshot showing the window, I don't have it maxed, I used to have 2 borders - 1 on the left and 1 on the right that I could hover over and it would let me resize using the mouse. They no longer exist. I'm using the default theme even since that was suggested as a solution on another forum topic.
Also, small edit, I apologize for choosing the solution as the fix, it's 3 am and I'm half asleep so I clicked the button meaning to click reply.
Second edit: I noticed one of my explorer windows having the same issue and part of the border not being there at all so I unloaded Windowblinds and the problem is solved, looks like my profile on it got damaged. Thanks for the replies. Topic can be closed.

Calling a method in Parent component from Title Window

Problem resizing application in SWFLoader content in DividedBox

Hi all,
I have some strange behavior in my application. I am extending the plugin system as described by Chris Cantrell, the problem I have might be of more general nature though.

I am loading a plugin (which is a WindowedApplication compiled to an .swf file and loaded via a SWFLoader) into a NavigatorContent within a ViewStack within a DividedBox. I am using pure AS3 files for logic and mxml skins for the GUI layout.
When I resize the main application window, the SWFLoader.content.application is resized twice (Resize Events seem to come from WindowedApplication window_resizeHandler (first) and setStageWidth (second)) in the main application window. The first event seems to return the correct size, the second seems to ignore the size of the other content Containers in the DividedBox and returns a stage width equal to the width of the DividedBox part that contains the SWFLoader, which also resizes the whole window to that size again.
When I only move the BoxDivider of the DividedBox nothing actually happens to the size of the SWFLoader.content.application.
I tried using some manual Bindings via BindingUtils to set NavigatorContent.width, SWFLoader.content.width and SWFLoader.content.application.width but no success. Any Ideas how I could force the components to the right size, first when resizing the main application window, second when moving the BoxDivider?

Deploy javafx applications on window. + uninstall old version

I have a problem on windows xp when I deploy a new version of my javafx 2.2 application.
The new version is replacing the previous version of my software, but when I look in my 'installed software'. My old version still appears.
(I think this is something to do with registry..)
I'm using wix to have a .msi file for the installer.
Wix is using the build.xml file used by Netbeans.
In my build.xml I specify next values for versioning:

Thanks for the info/suggestions. I had already done the "clean install" without knowing it. I also had uninstalled Firefox and Chrome and was looking at dumping Safari, but I found the culprit file "_Flash Player.plugin" (version10.2.151.49) on a search for "Flash Player" under Spotlight.
Strange thing was the file did not appear when just browsing through the various directories or searching with finder. Removed it and all is good.

IFrame(child container) still visible after closing the title window(parent container)

Hi All ,
I have created a sample project using a link button which when clicked opens up an TitleWindow which has an iframe and a text area in a hbox
When you execute the application ,
          Click the link button
          The Popup window opens up showing the title window with the close button
          Click the close button of the title window
          The Title window is removed and the iframe and the text area are not visible
Do this a couple of times
You can notice that the iframe is still visible even when the title window is closed
Can someone explain me how this issue can be resolved and also explain me why the iframe(child container) is still visible when the title window(parent container) is not visible.

Application title won't accept a "highlight"

I bought into File Guard by Intego and the Application name in Finder in "applications" won't allow me to Highlight it with a color... What could be the cause of this (being that all my other application titles allow me to highlight them)?
Any opinions, comments and or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.....

It probably just means that you don't have write permissions for that file. If you have admin rights then you can change the permissions - open the info window for the file, click on the lock at the bottom of the info window (under Sharing & Permissions), enter your password and change the entry for 'admin' to 'Read & Write'. The colour selector should become available immediately.
It's rare in OS X for applications to install without write permission for admins, but it does happen occasionally (I had only 1/66).
