REST using C# File Binary

hi
i am using REST Api to get the File's Binary USING C#
Please suggest I have tried this code but does not seem to work.
HttpWebRequest endpointRequest = (HttpWebRequest)HttpWebRequest.Create("<Url>/_api/web/GetFileByServerRelativeUrl('/libname/Study%20material/%20aaa%20DP.pdf')/$value");
endpointRequest.Method = "GET";
endpointRequest.Accept = "application/json;odata=verbose";
endpointRequest.Headers.Add("X-FORMS_BASED_AUTH_ACCEPTED", "f");
endpointRequest.Headers.Add("X-RequestDigest", D);
endpointRequest.UseDefaultCredentials = false;
endpointRequest.Headers.Add("binaryStringResponseBody", "true");
endpointRequest.Credentials = new NetworkCredential(UserName, Pwd, Domain);
try
HttpWebResponse endpointResponse = (HttpWebResponse)endpointRequest.GetResponse();
WebResponse webResponse = endpointRequest.GetResponse();
Stream webStream = webResponse.GetResponseStream();
StreamReader responseReader = new StreamReader(webStream);
var bytes = default(byte[]);
using (var memstream = new MemoryStream())
responseReader.BaseStream.CopyTo(memstream);
bytes = memstream.ToArray();
string s = "";
foreach (byte item in bytes)
s = s + Convert.ToString(item, 2);
Thanks, Parth

  • Read an avi file using "Read from binary file" vi

    My question is how to read an avi file using "Read from binary file" vi .
    My objective is to create a series of small avi files by using IMAQ AVI write frame with mpeg-4 codec of 2 second long (so 40 frames in each file with 20 fps ) and then send them one by one so as to create a stream of video. The image are grabbed from USB camera. If I read those frames using IMAQ AVI read frame then compression advantage would be lost so I want to read the whole file itself.
    I read the avi file using "Read from binary file" with unsigned 8 bit data format and then sent to remote end and save it and then display it, however it didnt work. I later found that if I read an image file using "Read from binary file" with unsigned 8 bit data format and save it in local computer itself , the format would be changed and it would be unrecognizable. Am I doing wrong by reading the file in unsined 8 bit integer format or should I have used any other data types.
    I am using Labview 8.5 and Labview vision development module and vision acquisition module 8.5
    Your help would be highly appreciated.
    Thank you.

    Hello,
    Check out the (full) help message for "write to binary file"
    The "prepend array or string size" input defaults to true, so in your example the data written to the file will have array size information added at the beginning and your output file will be (four bytes) longer than your input file. Wire a False constant to "prepend array or string size" to prevent this happening.

  • DAQ vi to perform digital write and read measurements using 32 bits binary data saved in a file

    Hi
    DAQ vi to perform digital write and read measurements using 32 bits binary data saved in a file
    Two main
    sections:
    1)
    Perform
    write and read operations to and fro different spread sheet files, such that
    each file have a single row of 32bits different binary data (analogous to 1D
    array) where the left most bit is the MSB. I don’t want to manually enter the
    32 bits binary data, I want the data written or read just by opening a file
    name saves with the intended data.
          2)
    And
    by using test patterns implemented using the digital pattern generator or  build digital data functions or otherwise, I need to
    ensure that the
                binary data written to a spreadsheet file or any supported file type
    then through the NI-USB 6509 is same as the data read.
    I’m aware I can’t use the simulated
    device to read data written to any port but if the write part of the vi works I
    ‘m sure the read part will work on the physical device which I’ll buy later.
    My Plan
    of action
    I’ve
    created a basic write/read file task and a write/read DAQ task for NI USB 6509
    and both combine in a while loop to form a progress VI which I’m confuse of how
    to proceed with the implementation.
    My
    greatest problem is to link both together with the correct functions or operators
    such that there are no syntax/execution errors and thus achieve my intended
    result.
    This
    project is one of my many assignments for my master thesis, so please i’ll
    appreciate every help as I’m not really efficient with LabVIEW programming but
    I prefer it because is fun and interesting if I get to know it.
    Currently I’m
    practicing with LabVIEW 8.6/NI DAQmx 8.8 Demo versions and NI USB 6509
    simulated device.
    Please see
    the attached file for my novice progress, thanks in
    advance for the support

    What does your file look like?  The DAQmx write is expecting a single U32 value, not an array of I64.

  • Conversion from scaled ton unscaled data using Graph Acquired Binary Data

    Hello !
    I want to acquire temperature with a pyrometer using a PCI 6220 (analog input (0-5V)). I'd like to use the VI
    Cont Acq&Graph Voltage-To File(Binary) to write the data into a file and the VI Graph Acquired Binary Data to read it and analyze it. But in this VI, I didn't understand well the functionnement of "Convert unscaled to scaled data", I know it takes informations in the header to scale the data but how ?
    My card will give me back a voltage, but how can I transform it into temperature ? Can I configure this somewhere, and then the "Convert unscaled to scaled data" will do it, or should I do this myself with a formula ?
    Thanks.

    Nanie, I've used these example extensively and I think I can help. Incidently, there is actually a bug in the examples, but I will start a new thread to discuss this (I haven't written the post yet, but it will be under "Bug in Graph Acquired Binary Data.vi:create header.vi Example" when I do get around to posting it). Anyway, to address your questions about the scaling. I've included an image of the block diagram of Convert Unscaled to Scaled.vi for reference.
    To start, the PCI-6220 has a 16bit resolution. That means that the range (±10V for example) is broken down into 2^16 (65536) steps, or steps of ~0.3mV (20V/65536) in this example. When the data is acquired, it is read as the number of steps (an integer) and that is how you are saving it. In general it takes less space to store integers than real numbers. In this case you are storing the results in I16's (2 bytes/value) instead of SGL's or DBL's (4 or 8 bytes/value respectively).
    To convert the integer to a scaled value (either volts, or some other engineering unit) you need to scale it. In the situation where you have a linear transfer function (scaled = offset + multiplier * unscaled) which is a 1st order polynomial it's pretty straight forward. The Convert Unscaled to Scaled.vi handles the more general case of scaling by an nth order polynomial (a0*x^0+a1*x^1+a2*x^2+...+an*x^n). A linear transfer function has two coefficients: a0 is the offset, and a1 is the multiplier, the rest of the a's are zero.
    When you use the Cont Acq&Graph Voltage-To File(Binary).vi to save your data, a header is created which contains the scaling coefficients stored in an array. When you read the file with Graph Acquired Binary Data.vi those scaling coefficients are read in and converted to a two dimensional array called Header Information that looks like this:
    ch0 sample rate, ch0 a0, ch0 a1, ch0 a2,..., ch0 an
    ch1 sample rate, ch1 a0, ch1 a1, ch1 a2,..., ch1 an
    ch2 sample rate, ch2 a0, ch2 a1, ch2 a2,..., ch2 an
    The array then gets transposed before continuing.
    This transposed array, and the unscaled data are passed into Convert Unscaled to Scaled.vi. I am probably just now getting to your question, but hopefully the background makes the rest of this simple. The Header Information array gets split up with the sample rates (the first row in the transposed array), the offsets (the second row), and all the rest of the gains entering the for loops separately. The sample rate sets the dt for the channel, the offset is used to intialize the scaled data array, and the gains are used to multiply the unscaled data. With a linear transfer function, there will only by one gain for each channel. The clever part of this design is that nothing has to be changed to handle non-linear polynomial transfer functions.
    I normally just convert everything to volts and then manually scale from there if I want to convert to engineering units. I suspect that if you use the express vi's (or configure the task using Create DAQmx Task in the Data Neighborhood of MAX) to configure a channel for temperature measurement, the required scaling coefficients will be incorporated into the Header Information array automatically when the data is saved and you won't have to do anything manually other than selecting the appropriate task when configuring your acquisition.
    Hope this answers your questions.

    Which agent are you using to execute?
    Standalone? If standalone, did you start it with OPMN?  I've seen such issues with standalone agent started with OPMN.
    Generally these kind of issues occur when you try to run with standalone agent started with OPMN.
    Because OPMN does not have access to the environment shell variables PATH or ORACLE_HOME and therefore the sqlldr.exe binary (or other Oracle product binary) is not found for execution.
    In this case, you need to specify PATH and ORACLE_HOME variables in opmn.xml file like below for your agent(say "MyStandaloneAgent" in this case)
    <ias-component id="MyStandaloneAgent">
    <process-type id="odiagent" module-id="CUSTOM">
      <environment>
         <variable id="ORACLE_HOME" value="C:\oracle\product\11.2.0\client_1"/>
          <variable id="PATH" value="C:\oracle\product\11.2.0\client_1\BIN;$PATH"/>
    After that, start and stop the agent and try the execution once again.

    Hi;
    Microsoft Windows 7 certification will begin with Oracle Database 11gR2 (11.2.0.x). That means, Oracle Database 11gR2 will be the first Oracle Database product certified/supported with Microsoft Windows 7.
    You need to download 11gR2 (11.2.0.x).

  • Using java files with JSP

    Ok, so im pretty new to this JSP lark and have a question.
    I have Java Classes resting in .java files, i need to know how
    do i link these files to my .jsp page so that the classes/variable etc.
    declared with the java files are recognised when they are come
    across in the .jsp file.
    I dont know if I have explained that properly.

    Just include this statement at the top of your jsp:
    <%@page import="yourpackage.yourclass"%>
    The .java files should of course be compiled into .class files prior to using (and you don't include the extension when importing).

  • Upload attachment using BPM File Chooser in OBPM 10g

    Hi,
    I am currently working on OBPM 10g.
    Can anyone please help me with upload attachment using BPM File Chooser using BPM Presentation?????

    Do not use the existing Fuego.Ui.FileChooser component. This OOTB Oracle BPM component would work fine if you're trying to get a file from the server where the Engine is running, but will not work if you want a file from the end user client's machine.
    Take a look at a project I uploaded to http://www.4shared.com/file/aq-cY2qN/_2__FileChooserDemo.html
    It has both a JSP and a BPM Object presentation. The BPM Object presentation has a button called "Attach File", If you click in the presentation editor and then click the Properties tab you'll see that its "Name" property is "AttachFile" and the Action property is set to "submit". This means that it will return the text "AttachFile" in the result predefined variable in the screenflow. If you open the screenflow, you'll see the conditional transition from the "AttachmentViewerInteractive" to the "FileChooser" task. The name of this transition is "AttachFile". Because this was named "AttachFile", the logic behind this transition evaluates if "result ==AttachFile".
    Be careful with this example project. It will succeed when a small text or binary file < 100k is selected. It will go to the "File is too big" task in the screenflow shown below when the file > 100k. To make this maximum size limit larger, simply add a new line in your
    <Oracle BPM Enterprise Home Directory>\webapps\workspace\WEB-INF\workspace.properties file:
    # Max size of a file coming from a client machine (default is 100k)
    fuego.workspace.servlet.Attachment.MAX_ATTACHMENT_SIZE=2000000
    Once the file has been retrieved, do not store this as an instance variable unless it has been marked as a “Separated” instance variable.
    The “AttachView1.jsp” is invoked from the Interactive activity’s “FileChooser” task in the screenflow.
    Once the end user selects the file from the JSP, work flows to the “Add file” task. This is where you can retrieve the selected file’s:
    - Name: fileHolder.file_filename variable
    - Content type: fileHolder.file_content_type variable
    - Contents: fileHolder.file binary variable

  • Starttin Oracle using received files on another machine

    Hello gurus,
    Someone sent me 6 dbf files including sys,temp, undo and the rest plus 3 log files plus one ctl file and finally a spfile.
    I want to create and startup the database using those files on my machine.
    Can someone please give me the details and the steps how can I do that. I am experienced DBA but haven't done it for long long time, never needed!!! so please feel free to talk Oracle language and detail and preferably step by step what I should do. I am assuming he had to send me a ctl file using backup to trac but not sure.
    Any help appreciated
    Thank you
    BTW it is a 10g and I guess original machine was a Linux machine but I am not limited, I can use any Os on VM too.

    If all control/online log/data files available(and these are not intact also correct) then just create new directory according files and create pfile(from your spfile).Then make change this pfile for your setting and try startup database as
    export ORACLE_SID=<SID>
    sqlplus "/as sysdba"
    startup mount pfile='pfile_location'
    /*IF your old and new directory structure are different
    then you have  to rename data and log files using
    ALTER DATABASE RENAME FILE 'old_location' to 'new_location'*/
    recover database;
    alter database open;

  • Add PXI 6508 to existing Cont Acq to file (binary)

    I currently run LV Rt on a PXI chassis that has a PXI 6030E card installed. I have modified the example vi: "Cont acq to file (binary).vi" that NI provides as a DAQ example , to acquire 6 analog channels. I now want to append digital data to the binary stream and save to disk. I'll be reading in 50 digital lines using the PXI-6508 card.
    I'd like to know how I might add the digital data acquisition inside my existing loop, make sure that the digital lines are appended to teh analog data, and if possible, I'd like to use a digital signal coming into te PXI 6508 to trigger data acquisition (rather than jhust running at the 240S/s that i currently run).
    I have attached my existing code for the data acquisition.
    Basically this code controls the release of a sled chair in which a human subject sits. the subject initiates release of the chair by a joystick, a laser fixation point is turned on and off at various times, and data from the joystick as well as various linear acclerometers is acquired. The data acquistion loop is in frame three of the main sequence. You'll notice that i am using some of the digital lines of the PXI-6030E but want to include many more digital lines by using the 6058

    Hello,
    You would just need additional port configs and some port reads for the ports on the 6508 you are using. Appending this data to the end of the analog data is fine. When writing binary data, the only thing that is important about the formatting is that you read it back in the same format you wrote it. You might look at some of the digital-only examples as well as some of the analog input with start trigger examples to combine some of these concepts.
    Also, if you have more questions about this, you might try positing this question to the general data acquisition group. This sort of operation would behave the same way in Windows as it would in RT, and you would get a larger audience there for more possible responses.
