The Question is quite vague. Very hard to answer a question when you do not know what they are asking.
As to automatic indexing and updates of data to files and the impact of indexing:
A file checked into UCM server is indexed based upon the system setting. A server could be set to DATABASE.METADATA indexing or some kind of full text indexing. Either way if a file is checked into the Content Server the file gets indexed. If any metadata is changed by a later update the index is indeed updated automatically. If the file in a full text indexed system has a set of text edited or a totally different file is checked in the index is updated automatically also.

On CPSC 9.4.1 R2, I am unable to find any REST API operation to get and update task data details (all the service form and dictionary fields).
Task operations only return limited task meta-data not the details of the task/requisition data submitted, fields, etc.

To enable anonymous Search REST queries, we need to create queryparametertemplate.xml and upload it to the correct library in SharePoint.
From your description I can know that you have created the file, then I recommend to check the things below:
Please use “QueryTemplatePropertiesUrl” instead of “queryparametertemplate” in the Search REST API query as following: &QueryTemplatePropertiesUrl='spfile://webroot/queryparametertemplate.xml'.
Make sure that the Query Properties you need have been added to the QueryProperties element in the queryparametertemplate.xml file.
Make sure that the query parameters you need have been added to the WhiteList element in the
queryparametertemplate.xml file. For example, if you want to use Refiners in the REST API, then the Refiners should be added to the
WhiteList element in the queryparametertemplate.xml file as following:
<a:string>Refiners</a:string>.

Problem in Updating L.S. Configurator (CMS)i.e. Save and Update Domain Data

As i m having Sneak-Preview 2004s SR1 with SP9 and my NWDS is also having the same service pack i.e. SP9 on my local machine. And i m trying to implement the NWDI and JDI on my machine and i have done all the post installation issues as per the documents in market place. but my problem is as follows.........
As according the tutorial in SDN, i have created the new SC and when i m trying to save and update the domain data in the Landscape Configurator i m getting the following error...

Add zfield to va01 and updating the data base

Hi friends,
I have requirement to add Zfields to vbak and updating the Zfield value to VBAK.
But my problem is when am trying to save or changing the Zfield into data base it is not saving the zfield value and it is not detecting the change value of Zfield in VA02.
Can any provide the solution if possible.

my requirement to update the Zfield information in vbap table. Even if am try using the user exit move_field_to_vbap it is not getting triggered if we chage the zfield value.it is only getting triggered during the change of standard field.
when am trying to save the Zfield value we are getting the message No data changed. in that case data is not getting updated to data base table vbap

If you have a sheet in Excel with data from a SharePoint Online list you can switch to the PowerPivot ribbon and ask to add it to the model. This will allow you to reference this table when you create a PowerView report.
This workbook, with the Odata feed can then be refreshed via the scheduled refresh feature of Power BI Site.
Insert the data using the Odata feed
The Odata URL will be something like:
https://MyCompany.sharepoint.com/MySite/MySubSite/_vti_bin/listdata.svc/MyList
If you are not sure what is the list name, you can drop just browse to
https://MyCompany.sharepoint.com/MySite/MySubSite/_vti_bin/listdata.svc and this will provide a list of all the lists in that site/sub-site.
Once you have those in the model and you setup scheduled refresh, it will refresh the lists directly from SPO (using the owner identity)

Retrieve and update using 2 webservices in ADF

Hello,
We are trying to build an application using ADF and struts with jDeveloper 10.1.2.20. We use webservices to go between the model and view layers.
We have for instance a webservice to retrieve data using 1 parameter, and another different webservice to update a tablerow.
We can get a JSP page to show us the data using the first webservice. (Build a Datapage, called from a DataAction to fill the parameter).
And we can build another JSP page to update a row using the second webservice. (Build a Datapage, create a new DataControl to select the appropriate fields and send them to a DataAction by using an event with ${bindings.MyDataControl_Iter.currentRow.dataProvider})
Both pages are built by implementing tutorials and examples from the Oracle page and forum.
The problem is, that we cannot get our application to do both. Get the data from the first webservice and show it, then alter some of the values and submit it to the second webservice to update the table.
Does anybody know anything about this problem and have a solution? Maybe in the form of an example.

unfortunately changing the NDValue (of one NamedData in myDataWrite MethodAction) is not working for me, although I tried it with a lot of values: constants, values from the binding of the reader service and values from a (session-scope) backing bean. However, the input field always remains empty :(

I understand that we can store this as a Blob or Bfile format.But I need to retrieve the data and display it on the GUI in the same format.

Updated as new installation 613 to 616 iphone 3GS, the 613 backup is nolonger listed, and all data gone. Anyway to restore 613 with data and update keeping data?

I chose new installation instead of update from 613 to 616. The new installation is missing all the data, and app data, notes, etc. The previous backup is nolonger listed, only new one for 616, anyway to restore 613 with data?

A backup was listed for earlier today, I did a backup before new installation. Once new installation, it did an auto backup of new installation, and only this one is listed.
This matches documentation, it says cannot restore to earlier version from itunes. Do I have to do a restore factory settings to see previous version backup, and restore this earlier version?

Everything is set right, artistid and even the hidden field

click on EDIT, it takes me to the edit page but it's all empty.
What am I missing?

There are several options. One of them could be
1) use <input name=rc[j] value="..."> instead of
display a raw text
2) parse parameters in doPost method of your servlet
to update appropriate values.
3) Make a empty row enable inserts

You could have a cell where you enter the month and year...
Or you could pull the month and year from the first entry in the date column. Like Barry I would want more information regarding your set up before proposing any other, more specific, ideas.

Insert and update a data block which is based on view--urgent help required

I created a view(A_VIEW) which is based on a union select. I have created a data block A_VIW_BLOCK which is based on this view. I need to insert/update one of the base tablesfor A_VIEW through this data block. I also need to be able to make a query through all the fields in the view.

We have a report already developed. Now we need add some fields from some table which is dynamic in feature to the final report which is already there.
I need to know how come we can include the dynamic fields into the final internal table.
I tried declaring fieldsymbols inside the data stmt of the final internal table but it shows some syntax error.
