Rlogin service incomplete error

Good night all,
We just installed a database server on a solaris 11 zone, but our veritas server need to get via rlogin to the ngz, but when i tried to enable the service got the following message.
svcadm enable svc:/network/login:rlogin
svcadm: svc:/network/login:rlogin: is not complete, missing general/complete (see svcs -xv svc:/network/login:rlogin for details)
and when i do the svcs -xv
svcs -xv svc:/network/login:rlogin
svc:/network/login:rlogin (?)
State: -
Reason: Service is incomplete, defined only by profile /etc/svc/profile/generic.xml
Impact: This service is not running.
First time i see this error, any help will be really appreciate. Cannot get a production DB without backup.

The use of these legacy remote login protocols such as rlogin and telnet has been discouraged by the security community for 15+ years. Since ssh has been part of Solaris for more than 10 years, we no longer install the daemons and related services for legacy protocols by default on minimized configurations. The default zone installation uses solaris-small-server, which is a minimized configuration.
The Solaris Administration Guide offers instruction on how to enable these legacy protocols.

The text for that section is a little bit wrong. It should read:
The ability to remotely log in to a zone is dependent on the selection of network services that you establish. Logins through rlogin and telnet can be added if needed by installing the package pkg:/service/network/legacy-remote-utilities then enabling the required services.
To install the legacy-remote-utilities package:
root@zone# pkg install legacy-remote-utilities
To enable the rsh sever:
root@zone# svcadm enable svc:/network/shell:default
To enable the rsh server on a system that uses Kerberos:
root@zone# svcadm enable svc:/network/shell:kshell
To enable the rlogin server:
root@zone# svcadm enable svc:/network/login:rlogin
To enable the telnet server:
root@zone# svcadm enable svc:/network/telnet:default
For more information about legacy login services, see rshd(1M), rlogind(1M), and telnetd(1M). The suggested replacement for these legacy login services is secure
shell. See ssh(1) and sshd(1M).
I've opened CR 7175961 to address the documentation problem.
Note that 'rsh hostname' really uses the rlogin protocol. 'rsh hostname command' uses the rsh protocol.

Ben (support) - no that's not a time out concurrent connections are a little different then sessions and or connections. Lets say for an example you have 5 images on your site and 5 7 users come to your site this is not 7 concurrent connections but 35. They
do close after awhile hence why the 503 error comes and goes. You can have these connections close sooner using code but this is something you have to research using your favorite search engine

The link provided tells us : All Plesk accounts are limited to 200 simultaneous visitors.
From what Ben (support) says and a little extra research, if those aren't visitors but connections then it's quite easy to max out, especially if the connections aren't closed when finished using. I'd suggest forwarding this to Kasem to see what he thinks.

Does anyone know how to resolve Financial Management service validation error from EPM Diagnostic Report?
Environment:
Quad-Core AMD Processor 2.2 GHz (Server Machine)
5 GB RAM
Server 2003 Standard 32-Bit SP2 (also tried in Enterprise)
Application Server:
WebLogic Server 9.2 Custom Installation (with Add-Ins)

The following are the sequences of steps carried out during the Installation and Configuration of EPM:
1) Installed the Server along with its respective SP2 – Shutdown the machine
2) Assigned IP and DNS addresses
3) Installed Window components by ticking Application Server Console, Enable COM+ access, IIS and DNS
4) Run “dcpromo” to create a Domain Controller with default values and assigned a domain name – Shutdown the machine
5) Installed Weblogic Server 9.2 and configure it using Configuration Wizard – Selected “test environment” and ticked default “listening port” – Shutdown the machine
6) Basic installation of Oracle Database 10gR2 using Step-by-Step guide provided by Oracle and carried out Password Management steps. After installation, I then created a user “oracle” and assigned it to ora_dba User Group with the required Local Security Policies – “log on as a batch job” and “Act as part of operating system”
7) Logged into database and acknowledge the licensing window – Shutdown the machine
8) Restarted the machine and checked all relevant and newly installed Database and WebLogic services are running.
9) Started Installing EPM components by double clicking “InstallTool.cmd” and selected all relevant components at ONCE as per Installation Guide – Result: - All selected EPM components were successfully installed without errors or exceptions
10) At the end of installation window, I carried out the configuration in the following scearios:
Scenario 1: Configuration all at Default settings
Scenario 2: Configuration all, except “Application Server” I selected the WebLogic9.2
Scenario 3: Configuration all, except “Application Server” and “Workspace Web Server” were being Welogic9.2 and IIS HTTP
RESULT: After all numerous installations, all came down to ONE ERROR from “Diagnostic Report” stating the following:

FAILED SVR: HFM Service Validation Check if HFM service in working state.
Error: Error message: <03/11/2010 05:32:26 PM> CreateApplicationCAS... Failed at line: 2
Recommended Action: Make sure HAT utility is working. 1 s
I then simply ignored this error and tried to deploy an Application, all worked fine until you get to the point at “Job Console” where you need to press “Refresh” button. Progress remained at 12% until it got timedout after 300 seconds and force attempt of refreshing resulting in “aborted” job with the following error:

This is, I believe preventing me from deploying Consolidation Apps, including Sample Application provided with EPM Downloads. I have tried installing and configuring by components. All failed with the same outcome.
I have been working on this effortlessly in different combinations to get at least one Financial Management Application get deployed so I could enhance my learning adventure. As it stands, I am not sure where to get help and completely lost in the World of Oracle. I am also come to wonder whether “Free Downloads of EPM” are indeed, is “complete and is in working-state” or do I need a licence to use for personal learning experience? Are there different downloads for different needs or/users For example, eDelivery downloads are different from OTN Agreement downloads?
I have downloaded the files from following URL:

I am having exactly the same problem using Windows 2003 Standard editions SP2. Is there anyone who knows a possible solution for this? The effect on HFM is that is not possible to create an application, since I always get an error that says "Server execution failed"

Remote Desktop Management service not starting. service-specific error: %%2284126209 - Event ID: 7024

Hi Forum members,
We have a client that has intermittent issues with RDS on a 2012 R2 server.
As an overview of the environment, the client has a single VMWare host support 2 x Windows 2012 R2 VMs one is the File/Print/Email server and the 2nd is the RDS server used to allow the client to run MYOB Enterprise. Both servers have the AD DS role and
DNS roles amongst others.
The 1st issue is that the RD Connection Broker shows the error: "The server pool does not match the RD Connection Brokers that are in it. and then "1. Cannot connect to any of the specified RD Connection Broker servers".
The above issue seems to be caused by the RDMS service not starting. When you attempt to start it, the service stops and the error in the title is logged in the "System" event log. Full transcript below:

I have been attempting to resolve these errors for some time, without success. I have read the many KBs and forum entries related to the above and applied a number of the suggested fixes, including the one which suggests to add the NT SERVICE\ALL SERVICES
to the "Logon as a Service" in the "User Rights Assignment" of the "Default Domain Policy" which is linked to the domain level, that both servers are objects of.
My question to the forum is, can anyone come up with a solution to resolve the above issues and all the RDMS service to start which will then hopefully resolve the broker error?

If virtual machines on the server are Windows Server 2012, then it is not supported to install Remote Desktop Connection Broker on a Domain Controller.

If the VMs are Windows Server 2012 R2, I suggest you install RDS on a separate machine to see if the issue persists.

Service Battery error message for a battery that looks ok

Hello,
I have a 13 inch Macbook Pro with model number 5,5 and after upgrading my hard drive to a WD scorpio black 750GB and also adding 8 GB of Kingston memory I get a Service Battery error message. My OS is 10.6.8. The strange is that my battery is in a fairly good condition. I did check with coconut battery and it looks ok. I also add a print screen.
Does anyone knows how can I remove this error message ?
Do I have to replace my battery ?

Service battery means replace battery as soon as possible.
Reset SMC and see whether it changes the notification.

503 Service Unavailable Error: Application cannot be started!

Hi Experts,
 I have NWE 7.11 SP 01 installed . While try to update to SP04, the server restarted automatically & when i try to access the portal link http:<host>:<port>/irj/portal am getting err as 503 service unavailable. I am able to see irj, JMS_Provider,tcjewebservice_srv,tcwddispwda services in failed state. Please help me out.
 I got the log file in dev_server0 as follows

Looks like network related issue. Make sure the server is in the network and has proper hostname to IP address mapping maintained.
SiPeekPendConn failed 172.20.50.242:3300
Next check if the port 3300 is free using the netstat command.

PLease help, I've rstored from backup three times with no success I'm getting the following error
"Unable to initialize the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service. - Error 0x96f. "
It's LDap related but i have no idea why :-(

IPv6 had been disabled for months on my SBS 2008 Server running Exchange 2007 SP1. I ran 40 or so Windows Updates; subsequently, the next morning Exchange was no longer running; topology issues, event ID 2604, 2114 and 2601 were all over my Application
Log. After 12 hours of research I found this post; figured it was worth a shot and instantly all my services for Exchange fired up. Thanks for the tip; I have no idea which update changed what in regards to needing IPv6 enabled, but that silly
little check mark fixed it.

"No Service" OS error

I've updated my iPhone 3GS to iOS 4.2.1, and was hoping that the "No Service" OS error was fixed, but now it appears more often, and I can't fix it with just turning "Airplane Mode" On (wait a few seconds") and then back Off again - now I need to either take out the SIM-card (and put it back) or do a restart of my iPhone.
Is there a more usable official Apple procedure available to fix the "No Service" OS error - or is it just fixed with iPhone 4 ??

I've installed Lync Server 2010. There was no error during installation. But when i start Lync Server Front End Server, i'm getting following error:

Also I've installed all Lync Server updates.
But I still could not start Lync Front End Sever. How can I solve this problem?

Web Service deploy error

Hello everyone!
I've created a Web Service from a VI. This VI has two inputs values: a String and and Int8 and one single output: an array of DBL values (array of 1x3). Both inputs and outputs are well connected through the Connector Pane.
So, in the Project>> Build Spedifications I've created WS, builded with the Advanced>> Use LabVIEW 8.x file layout option checked, in the WebService(RESTful) settings dialog. The problem appear when I try to deploy this WS. The next error is shown:
Error LabVIEW: (Hex 0xFFFEF84D) LabVIEW Web Services: An error occurred when extracting the deployed Web service. Rebuild the Web service by selecting the "Use LabVIEW 8.x file layout" option in the Advanced tab of the web Service properties dialog.
How can I solve this problem?

This is exactly what I've done! I build my web services with this option checked. I don't know the reason why the error still persist.
I attach a zip file containing the Web Services VI and other VI needed. If you coult try to build the WS and deploy it...

Web services build error

Hi All,
I have created and deployed a Java web service banking project now i want use this web services methods into .net clint. For that in .net peoples able to see the list of web services mathods when they are use those methods they face the problem like "Web services build error...". But when the java clint call the same web services methods it works fine.
Im tired to resolved this problem please any one tel me how to resolve this problem.

Both. I deployed the application under the IAS (902) and a standalone (903)environment. The IAS (port 7777) an the standalone oc4j (port 8888) is running with the same error.
P.S. The server is down today for hardware technical reasons

Access is denied..
Looks like a permission issue or maybe the assembly don't exists on the server where the package is running; you should check that first.
