RSS Photo Viewer not working

So in trying to learn CocoaRuby on Xcode 3, I've tried this ADC tutorial and I know I've done it correctly, but I can't get the app to run. (I've done this app from scratch twice, the second time using cut and past for the large chunks of code.)
.I 'build' the code using Xcode. Then, I hit either 'Go' or double click the .app file. The app icon appears in the Dock for about a second and then disappears. With the 'Go' method, Xcode tells me the application ended with a status of 1. What's going on here?

I've managed to get the application to start by linking to the Quartz framework in XCode.
To do this right click on the "Linked Frameworks" group in XCode, and select "Add -> Existing Frameworks..." in the menu. You'll then be presented with a list of available frameworks, browse through the list for Quartz.framework and double click.
Unfortunately while the application will run, the image browser view completely fills the window. The other controls will still accept input (try clicking where the url field should be), but I can't see them.
I have no idea why this is happening, as I'm only just starting out with Cocoa development, but if anyone can shed any light I'll be a happy bunny.

N8 Video Player and Photo Viewer not working prop...

Hi I just got a N8 a few months ago and its been going great until a month ago.
My video player is not displaying any the videos that I had on the phone or any of the videos I try putting on after. I then tried the photo viewer (it displays video as well for some reason) but that didn't have any of the videos and only some of my photos are being displayed.
I previously had the problem with the music player where it would be stuck on the music updating screen (not frozen) but I solved that by looking through the net and finding that you delete a certain file and it fixed that.

The problem is, I'm trying to find a solution to a whole host of other problems on my N97, e.g. The problems I'm having with GPS (Maps 2 and 3 are both currently unusable), the problems I'm having getting my widgets, email etc to detect which connection I need using etc, the problems I'm having with reception, the problems I'm having with my ringtone etc. So this photo viewer problem is just another issue to add to the list.
As for the Facebook App, if I take a picture using the camera link within the application, it won't let me upload anyway, so I've stopped using it. I just use the standard Facebook Mobile site as the Nokia Facebook App is so slow, it's borders on useless.

IPhone 4 Photos Accelerometer not working

I just received a new iPhone 4 and the Photos application appears to ignore the accelerometer and is always stuck in portrait mode. All other apps work fine, just Photos is not working. This is a new phone setup, not a restore from a previous phone. I have triple checked that the screen rotation lock is off and I've turned off photo sync in iTunes, deleted all photos and re-synced; it still does not work. Anyone have any ideas?

1) Press and Hold the Home and Wake Sleep buttons until the Apple Logo appears.
2) If that doesn't work, try a reset, To reset go to Settings, General, Reset, Reset.
If it still doesn't work, take it in to an apple store so the expert can test it out.

Next time you open the photos application hold down both of the keys suggested and then launch the application in the usual way. If you do this you will be presented with the opportunity to repair your library.

Order by in MATERIALIZED VIEW not work successfully with first column (ID)

I am trying to create a Materialized View as below:

where rownum < 5000 order by employee_id desc ;But while querying the MATERIALIZED VIEW, it did not work successfully as the data did not appear in the accurate order.
I tried to create the same MATERIALIZED VIEW but order by another column (Column Date), it worked successfully and the data appeared in the accurate order.
It means that MATERIALIZED VIEW not work successfully with the first column (id).
Can you please help me in this ?

A few pointers :
1. As has been pointed out, the ROWNUM has been incorrectly placed. ROWNUM values are assigned as rows are fetched from the source before the ORDER BY. You need to ORDER BY first (in a SubQuery) and then ROWNUM afterwards (outside the SubQuery).
2. I wonder why you want only the last 5000 EMPLOYEE_IDs. What if Employee_ID 1 is still an active employee (he is the founder, first employee and CEO ?). There could be very many "low" EMPLOYEE_IDs that are still active.
3. Logically I would expect some filter other than the ROWNUM ... ORDER BY to be used to select candidate rows. Then, an ORDER BY in the CREATE query would be unnecessary.
4. When querying the Materialized View you must explicitly ORDER BY (irrespective of whether you did or did not do an ORDER BY in the CREATE ...)
5. How do you expect to refresh the MV ? Will it always be a COMPLETE Refresh ? Remember that your "5000 employees" filter would likely exclude older employees at the next refresh. If you use some other filter, it should be consistent across all refreshs.

On your Mac disable Photo Stream in the System/iCloud preference pane
and in iPhoto's Photo Share preference pane.
Reboot and reenable both respectively. That should jump start Photo Stream.

Is Photo Stream service down? (all other services in iCloud is working)

Try deselecting the box next to: Automatic Import
in iPhone > Preferences > Photo Stream
Then try deselecting Photo Stream in System Preferences > iClould then reselect to reset.

I had same issue and went back to snow lepard, there was a known issue with Lion and a patch was issued last wednesday for Lion it may be ok if you update it I dont know

Please let us know if that works or not, there are several other things you can try.

RSS in iWeb not working

My RSS button is not working. I get this message back when ever I click on it.
The requested URL /todpardon/tod_blog/rss.xml was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Same problem. Am using Firefox 24 (W7x64).
I've tried setting it to use the built-in PDF viewer, to always asking, to using Adobe plugin, to using Nitro plugin.
I changed the pdfjs.disabled in about:config to true but that didn't help.

What version of Lomboz are you using? J2EE View was available in Lomboz 2.x releases and is not found in later releases. These olde versions used a lightweight JSP editor based on jasper. Your message looks like it is related to that.
I would recommend upgrading to one of the later releases such as 3.3, which can be found at:

Why does photo stream not work on 4g

Hi, I have a iPhone and a Mac and an iCloud account, but why does photo stream not work on 4g, but as soon as I connect to wifi, it send photos to photo stream, can please tell why it does not send photos to photo stream when on 4g, thanks.

The data requirements for sending potentially many photos can be too taxing/costly on a carrier's data plan.

I was unable to make DVD, so I went to apple Store and they downloaded Idvd for me, Now I can create DVD, but now i realize my I photo is not working.
I stay far from Apple Store, and It is not convinient to visit the store again. I am trying to update softwear, but it is not working as the softwear was updated In apple store with support ID, so now If I go for softwear update, it is asking for same support login ID of the store which I do not have and in absense of it I am unable to update I photo.
Is there any suggestions you can advise...

You need to contact that store, because you will never be able to update without sorting out that login ID.
What does "not working" mean?
