Runtime error 2147467259 (80004005) Method Position of objectcommandbarfail
Hi,
While I tried to open the query pop up screen, it is giving one pop screen with the following message
Runtime error 2147467259 (80004005)
Method Position of objectcommandbarfailed
So Plz suggest me how to overcome this runtime error.
Hi Venkata,
You most likely will solve this issue by re-installing the BW 7.0 AddOn (FEP).
You can check also if you meet the requisites at SAP note 1013139.

Instant Client with ADO on VBA -- Run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)' -
VB 6.0 uses Instant Client and Win XP Pro sp2 operating system. The MDAC has been checked and it is 2.8 sp1.
The same project works on Win 2000 pro.
Installing the run-time, thick, client makes the application work.
We are getting the following error:
Run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)';
Oracle error occurred, but error message could not be retrieved from Oracle.
Any ideas?
We have tried privleges, ORACLE_HOME variable, all kinds of things. Bring us your suggestions we are weary.....
Thanks,
LindaIt looks like some sort of overflow. Instant Client does not support ADO.NET yet, if that is what is causing the problem. I hope that helps.

VijayHi,
seems so it is kind of permission related error.
http://www.computerperformance.co.uk/Logon/code/code_80004005.htm
Either your users do not have the right access to something local or if it tries to connect back to the server (or something like that) it does not have the right permissions.
Hope this is at least a good start.

Runtime Error When executing Method from JavaScript
Greetings In the name of the creator of all things, space, and time. I have a problem with scripting an applet using Javascript (JScript). The problem is as follows: I receive the runtime error - An outgoing call cannot be made since the application is dispatching an input-synchronous call.
I invoke the applet from a JavaScript from within a web page. The applet populates and display a JTable. From the Table I select an element in a row and press a button which kicks off another page. From within the page I called one of the applet's method i.e. _applet.cfquery(window, hastable).
This method connects to a data source and returns some data. When the method is invoked I receive the runtime error.
What is the problem and How do I resolve it? Note: The same code works with Netscape 7.0 with out any problems.
Particulars:
Browser: Internet Explorer 6.0 - Version 6.0.2800.1106C (SP1)
Operating System : Windows 2000 (Service Pack 3)
Scripting Interface: LiveConnect.
Scripting Version: JavaScript (1.5)
I know Microsoft Uses ActiveX to support embedded object. I recently came up on the JavaScript Object
ActiveXObject(appname.className [,remoteServiceName]). Could I use it to access my applet and how would I specify the name of my applet's? What do they mean by class name. Please help me I have searched the Internet until my eyes almost fall out by I have not found any solutions.If the javascript to invoke applet.cfquery(window, hastable) happens automatically (onload,...), try adding a button to your page and using that to invoke applet.cfquery(window, hastable). See if waiting until the applet loads and settles down makes a difference.

Runtime error Calling Java Methods from C++
I'm trying to add Java methods to an existing C++ program.
I'm working in W2000 enviroment using Cygnus GCC compiler.
Before adding these methods, I tested invoke example from Jni tutorial.
All worked properly. But the problems arouse when I tried to run non-static methods.
Here is the code I'm testing now:
#include <stdio.h>
#include <jni.h>
#define PATH_SEPARATOR ';'
#define USER_CLASSPATH "." /* where Prog.class is */
int main(int argc, char *argv[]) {
JNIEnv *env;
JavaVM *jvm;
JDK1_1InitArgs vm_args;
jint res;
jclass cls;
jmethodID mid;
jobject jobj;
char classpath[1024];
vm_args.version = 0x00010001;
JNI_GetDefaultJavaVMInitArgs(&vm_args);
sprintf(classpath, "%s%c%s",
vm_args.classpath, PATH_SEPARATOR, USER_CLASSPATH);
vm_args.classpath = classpath;
res = JNI_CreateJavaVM(&jvm,(void **)&env,&vm_args);
if (res < 0) {
fprintf(stderr, "Can't create Java VM\n");
exit(1);
cls = env->FindClass("Prog");
if (cls == 0) {
fprintf(stderr, "Can't find consola class\n");
exit(1);
mid = env->GetStaticMethodID(cls, "Entrada", "()V");
if (mid == 0) {
fprintf(stderr, "Can't find consola.consola\n");
exit(1);
env->CallStaticVoidMethod(cls, mid);
/* jobj = env->NewObject(cls, mid);
if (jobj == 0) {
fprintf(stderr, "Can't find Prog.main\n");
exit(4);
jvm->DestroyJavaVM();
And the java code Prog.java:
public class Prog {
public static void Entrada() {
Consola Cons = new Consola();
And Consola a user class tha shows a Java window and let's do something more.
These code works fine and The Prog and Consola classes run properly.
But when I try to change Entrada method to non-static, following error appears in a window.
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime library
Runtime Error !
Program: D:\javaini\JNI-INVOKE\invoke.exe
abnormal program termination
If I try
jobj = env->NewObject(cls, mid);
if (jobj == 0) {
fprintf(stderr, "Can't find Prog.main\n");
exit(4);
instead of
env->CallVoidMethod(cls, mid);
I get the same error.
Could anybody help me ?
Am I doing anything wrong ?
Thanks in advance. Ignasi Villagrasa.I found it.
In JNI examples I saw
mid = env->GetMethodID(cls, "<init>", "()V");
to run constructor.
And then NewObject function.
So it's solved.
But I find another problem now.
If the class I'm calling is a graphic java class (In this case from swing), when the window is closed the application in C++ stops too.
Should I create another thread to manage the window ?
Couldn't I follow running lines after NewObject method ?
Thanks in advance, Ignasi Villagrasa. -

One of my users is getting a continual Runtime Error 2147467259 (80004005) when attempting to use Presenter 7.0.5 with PowerPoint 2007 under Windows 7 (with all the latest critical patches). Uninstalling Presenter (and Acrobat Pro Extended) completely and reinstalling does not fix the problem. The same presentation opens on a Windows XP system with PowerPoint 2007 and Presenter 7.05 without problems.
Similar problems posted in the forums and elsewhere seem to have no solid resolution.
Anyone have a fix, or at least suggestions?
EDIT: Additional information: we completely removed Acrobat Pro 9 Extended and Presenter and installed Acrobat X and Presenter and it does exactly the same thing. Is Presenter just not compatible with Windows 7?
Thanks in advance.
Dave SawyerI have gotten this error too - running Windows 7, Office 2010 (all installed by my IT department, I have no access to those installers). New install of Presenter 7.07 after uninstalling previous versions. Still happening.
Try this, as it SEEMS to have worked for me:
File > Options > Trust Center > ActiveX Settings
Select "Enable all controls without restrictions and without prompting..."
So far, working for me... I'll try to come back to this thread and update you if that changes... -
Hi,
kindly suggest me a OSS NOTE on this runtime error. Points will be rewarded for the appropriate suggestion.
Runtime Errors COMPUTE_BCD_OVERFLOW Except. CX_SY_ARITHMETIC_OVERFLOW Date and Time 21.12.2007 12:31:23
Short text
Overflow during the arithmetical operation (type P) in program "RMNIWE90_01".
What happened?
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "RMNIWE90_01" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
What can you do?
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
administrator.
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.
Error analysis
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_ARITHMETIC_OVERFLOW', was not
caught in
procedure "WERTE_BERECHNEN" "(FORM)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING
clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
An overflow was discovered in an ongoing arithmetical operation with
operands of type P. Possible causes are:
1. The result field of type P is too small for the result.
2. The result or a intermediate result has more than 31 decimal places.
How to correct the error
The result field must be enlarged, if this is still possible. It may
also be possible to break up the current process into subprocesses so
that only smaller values occur.
If the error occurred in your own ABAP program or in an SAP
program you modified, try to remove the error.
There may already be a solution to the error in the SAP notes system.
If you have access to the SAP notes system first try searching with the
following keywords:
"COMPUTE_BCD_OVERFLOW"
"BCD_FIELD_OVERFLOW" (Until release 4.0a, this runtime error occurred at this
position)
"RMNIWE90_01" or "RMNIWE90_01"
"WERTE_BERECHNEN"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
notification to SAP, include the following information:
1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
(Unconverted)".
2. Corresponding system log
Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File
(Unconverted)".
3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP
program: The source code of the program
In the editor, choose "Utilities->More
Utilities->Upload/Download->Download".
4. Details about the conditions under which the error occurred or which
actions and input led to the error.
The exception must either be prevented, caught within proedure
"WERTE_BERECHNEN" "(FORM)", or its possible occurrence must be declared in the
RAISING clause of the procedure.
To prevent the exception, note the following:
Information on where terminated
Termination occurred in the ABAP program "RMNIWE90_01" - in "WERTE_BERECHNEN".
The main program was "RMNIWE90_01 ".
In the source code you have the termination point in line 805
of the (Include) program "RMNIWE90_01".
The termination is caused because exception "CX_SY_ARITHMETIC_OVERFLOW"
occurred in
procedure "WERTE_BERECHNEN" "(FORM)", but it was neither handled locally nor
declared
in the RAISING clause of its signature.
The procedure is in program "RMNIWE90_01 "; its source code begins in line
797 of the (Include program "RMNIWE90_01 ".

Thanks and Regards,
SKUMAR.There should not any need of SAP Note for this.
This could be because of the wrong value passing to the field which is of type P.
Check the value of the field and correct it and execute it again. This is surely work.
Reward if it is useful.

Using Runtime exec() method to run java files and return runtime errors
Hi
I'm writing a java editor and I use
Runtime.getRuntime().exec(command)
to compile the java files. That works fine and I deal with the returned errors using the getErrorStream().
My questions are:
1. Can I use the same technique for returning runtime errors. In any posts I've read the process runs from begining to end, returning the errors after completion. How do I return the errors of the app as they happen interactively?
2. If i cant use the exec and getErrorStream() methods then does anyone know how it is done?
Thanks in advance for any help!Read this:

How to raise exception in bor method without showing runtime error
I want to raise custom exception in the bor method like below. However, it will show runtime error when executing codes below. Any knows how to raise custom exception in the bor method without runtime error?
raise 9021.Hi Nick
You need to define the exception 9021 for the method and then you use the macro EXIT_RETURN as below
exit_return 9021 sy-msgv1 sy-msgv2 sy-msgv3 sy-msgv4.

JavaScript runtime error: Object doesn't support property or method 'Load'
I'm pretty new to SharePoint 2013 apps and CSOM. I have written a simple SharePoint-hosted App in Visual Studio 2013 which attempts to display the current user's user profile picture using CSOM and JavaScript. Here is the code in my App.js file:
$(document).ready(function () {
var context = SP.ClientContext.get_current();
var peopleManager = new SP.UserProfiles.PeopleManager(context);
var userProperties = peopleManager.getMyProperties();
context.Load(userProperties);
context.executeQueryAsync(function (){
if (properties) {
var pic = userProperties.get_pictureUrl();
$('#userProfileImage').attr("src", pic);
I am getting error "JavaScript runtime error: Object doesn't support property or method 'Load'" on line "context.Load(userProperties);"
I have SP.UserProfiles.js referenced, which is why this command executes successfully: var peopleManager = new SP.UserProfiles.PeopleManager(context); Is it my context object or userProperties object that is causing this error, and why? Thanks
in advance for your help.
Frank ForemanHi,
This method is case Sensitive, try this context.load(userProperties); -

In passing generally best not to disable screenupdating, alerts or events unless need to do so. More importantly though you should ensure they always get reset. As written you have several Exit Sub's before any code that resets them. Also in case of an error
consider resetting them in an error handler. -
I tried the latest Apple fix to resolve the installation issues of iTunes 11.1.4 and had no success at all. This was the fix that asked you to remove .dll files and place them on the desktop before unistalling and reinstalling iTunes. I followed the procedure exactly and obtained the same results as before.
Namely,
Runtime Error: R6034 -An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly
iTunes was not installed correctly. Error 7.
At this point, after spending 1.5 days attempting to install iTunes I am giving up. Hopefully, someone will come up with a fix that really works and I will install it then.Hi
I had the same problem on my PC's with Win 7 and Win XP.
I solved it this way:
- De-install iTunes, best with a special tool, like, for example "Your Uninstaller" from Ursoft. Any other un-installer will do the job, provided it cleans the registry of traces from iTunes
- De-install "Apple Mobile Device Support". This seems to be the culprit. It is a sub-program of iTunes. But if you just de-install iTunes this sub-program stays in your PC. If you still have it on your PC and you try to update to 11.1.4, it will cause these problems.
- De-install also "Apple Application Support", but I am not sure it is really necessary, but de-installing does no harm, since it will be re-installed automatically.
- De-install also "Apple Software Support", but I am not sure it is really necessary, but de-installing does no harm, since it will be re-installed automatically.
- Re-start your PC
- Download the latest version of iTunes from the Apple webpage and install it.
For me this worked on both of my PC's.

We are unable to trace the error in the 'default trace' log file and although refreshing the cache solves this issue, it is difficult to explain this to every user individually.
After many such errors, We found one log entry, which we are now not yet sure if it is relevant. The error states:
