Same Application Variables name in different websites on the same server.

Hi,
I have two websites in the same server that use both their own Application.cfm file.
In each Application.cfm file is defined the application variable Application.DB
In website1 the Application.DB = DB1
In website2 the Application.DB = DB2
Since I'm studying Application.CFC solution, and I did read that application variables with same name have as scope the entire server ... I'm a bit worried. This happen also with Application.CFM ?

That's not quite how it works. Each application has its own name, and application.foo on one application (name) is a different variable from application.foo within a different application (name).

You should definitely be using Application.cfc, not Application.cfm, btw.

With the AlwaysOn listener you should have a single DNS name to connect to regardless of which cluster node is active. Are you using the listener service? If not, please refer to the link below.

EJB was compiled by a different version of the Weblogic Server

I got the following error message when attempt to startup weblogic server to deploy my ejb.

Exactly what is says. You are deploying an EJB that was compiled with a
different Weblogic version (might be a different SP or a previous
version) that the one you are deploying on. Recompile with the same
version as the deployment and it should be fixed.

This message is the same. Because you have some of the classes of the EJB
in your server classpath you will not be able to redeploy that EJB but apart
from that it's harmless. To redeploy after changing the EJB you'll have to
restart the server.

The server name osr_server1 is unknown to the administration server

I have successfully installed OSR and created WLS Domain using config.cmd. But when I try to start by command line (startManagedWebLogic.cmd osr_server1) I got the error "server is unknown". I have no idea what could be wrong.

*** Scenario.
Oracle Enterprise Edition 11gr2 over Oracle Solaris 11
3 instances: PROD, QA, DEV
1 ASM instance
Listener ports: 1520, 1530 & 1540
 Those are production system
*** The problem:
Customer can't pay Oracle EE, they want to change to Oracle Std One
Limitations:
I cant have a similar system to test.
*** My idea:
Install Oracle Std One, in the same path:
/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db <-- EE
/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_one <-- Std Ed One
ASM:
/u01/app/11.2.0/grid <-- EE +ASM
/u01/app/11.2.0/grid_one <-- Std Ed One +ASM1
Create databases:
Asign similar disks to +ASM1
Create DGs on +ASM1
Create databases: PROD, QA, DEV for Std Ed one
- is it posible that they have same instance name?
- if not, i suppose create as: PROD1, QA1, DEV1
Configure Listener port : 1521, 1531 & 1541
Migration technique:
Create Tablespaces, schemas
Lock users in EE
down listener: 1520, 1530 & 1540
Import data of final users in a window maintanance
configure and up listener: 1521, 1531 & 1541

i mean PROD, QA & DEV has the same users.

1. I've seen physical servers with 3 ASM instances: +ASM1, +ASM2, +ASM3
 on Solaris & Oracle 10g, I suppose is posible on 11g
2. The sever has occupied 2 sockets (2 physical CPU), so I can use Oracle Standard Ed One.

2. - Why you want the same instance name?
If it is about the service name, which has by default the same instance name, just you can create a different instance name
and create the service name with the name that you wish.
SQL> alter system set service_names='instance_name';

PROD1, QA1 & DEV1
I consider add "1" at the end to refer "Oracle Standar Ed One"
But I agree with you, i can customize throught service_name.

 I am using the Client Object Model (Copy. Asmx ) To upload and download the file from the document library.
I am having the mandatory File ID for the each Document.
I tried to upload the the document (KIF53.txt) with File ID (KIF53) uploaded successfully.
Again I tried to Upload the document(KIF53.docx) With File ID(KIF53) its uploaded the file but it not upload the File ID in the Column

Why is my application name not showing up in the SQL Server connection properties?

If I understand correctly I should be able to have the application name from application.cfc show up in my SQL Server connection string (i.e. in the program_name column of sp_who2) if I go in to the DSN advanced settings and check "Application Name" under Client Settings.
However having done that I still don't see anything in the program name columns of the sp_who2 result set. Any ideas?

I drew my shape, then went to the GRADIENT panel and clicked in the default gradient box to apply the default white to black gradient. Normally you can click on either color to change it using the ways I described in my original post but those are not available to me. The only way I could add a color was to drag it from the SWATCHES panel into the gradient colors slider.
This means that I cannot make changes to colors directly in the gradient panel like before. I have to make changes to the individual colors but clicking on the color in the gradient slider then going to the COLOR panel and adjusting the color there. Or by dragging in a whole new color from the COLOR or SWATCHES panels. This is really killing my work flow.

Look this is going to sound pathetic, but i keep trying to get onto tumblr.com but no matter what i do it keeps sending me to Facebook.com. I've tried to go through google, yahoo, and bing but its still keeps sending me to facebook. none of my friends have ever had problems with firefox and untill the last two weeks neither have I. You can achieve by two way
One :

you will have to make dev60cgi as virtual directory

Same Oracle Bind Variable Name in 2 VOs not permitted?

JDeveloper Studio Edition Version 10.1.3.3.0.4157
I have 2 different Entity based VOs, those VO's use similar Entities but their WHERE is clause is different, one VO doesn't extend the other one.
I have used Oracle (first time use for me) named bind type variables with identical names in both where clause.
When I try to define a bind variable ex. TariffIdParam in the second VO the wizard shows me an error:
Variable name is a reserved word or a variable or attribute of the given name already exists ...
Does that mean that an Oracle Bind Variable Name must me unique in the whole application?
Partial where clause:
VO1
DeliveryDetailGroup.DELIVERY_TARIFF_ID = :TariffIdParam
VO2
DeliveryDetailGroup.DELIVERY_TARIFF_ID = :TariffIdParam

I created the second VO by using "File save as".
To resolve the problem in the new xml file I replaced the references to the other VO.

Query parameters with the same name and different values

According to HTTP, multiple query or post parameters with the
same name and different values are permitted. They are transfered
over the wire in the following format -
name1=val1&name1=val2&name1=val3
The problem is that I can't see anyway of assigning multiple
parameters with the same name and different values to the request
object of mx.rpc.http.HTTPService. I have tried using the
flash.utils.Dictionary object as it does strict key comparison but
that doesn't work too. I have tried setting an array of values to a
property of the request object but that sends the request to the
server in the following format -
name1=val1,val2,val3
The java servlet engines throw exceptions when they see this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you're not on 8.1.4 move there. 8.1.3 had limitations in the wsrp
