Needs sample ABAP code for field routine

Dear Expert,
There is a field "Pay Scale Group" in my DSO which stores the data in the format
AA1/B1/CCC2/DD2/EEE1, A1/BB2/CC2/DDD3/EE2 etc. These data has to be transferred to
InfoCube where "pay Scale Group" in the InfoCube will store the data like EEE1,EE2 etc.
I need to write a field routine on the transformation between DSO and Cube.
Can any one please help me with the sample ABAP code for this scenario.
Some more examples for better understanding of the requirement:-

You can use the following code :
Suppose the technical name of the field coming from DSO is ZPAY_SGRP.
And also for example let me take one record, that is ZPAY_SGRP = AA1/B1/CCC2/DD2/EEE1 .
My assumption is that there will always be 4 '/'.
In the field routine write the below code
data: V1(5) type c,
          V2(5) type c,
         V3(5) type c,
          V4(5) type c,
         V5(5) type c.
data : VAR1 TYPE /BIC/OIZPAY_SGRP.
split VAR 1 at '/' into V1 V2 V3 V4 V5.
result = V5.
V5 will be having the characters after the last '/' .That is V5 = EEE1.

In the Oracle Forms, I have a datablock based on the above stored procedure. When I execute the form and from the menu if I click on Execute Query the data block gets filled up with data (The datablock is configured to display 10 items as a tabular form).
At this point in time, I want to automate the process of displaying the data, hence I created a button and from there I want to call this stored procedure. So, in the button trigger I have the following statements

A SFCS1.T_Cursor;
BEGIN
SFCS1.Company_Selection(A);
go_Block ('Block36');
The cursor goes to the corresponding block, but does not display any data. Can you tell me how to get the data displayed. In the future versions, I'm planning to put variables in the WHERE clause.

i'm using the Apache Http Server together with the ServletExec AS which enable the Apache server to run JSP..
I've created a package where i've put my classes...
WEB-INF/classes/tbd(package name)/my classes
and i've added.. package name.. in my java program..
and then in jsp... i've written..

but when i run the page it says the package does not exist...
can anyone tell where to place the folder WEB-INF so that it can run fine?

Hai,sir this is surendra i am doing a project using jsp and mysql.
In that each user can put his image and i am storing that image in mysql blob but that results to that database size.
So i need jsp code for image compression or another way for storing images.

There's no need to store images in db. You may store them in a dedicated folder.

Now after browsing a jpg image file from client side and pressing submit button ;
I am unable display the image in the Upload.jsp file.Though I use
<img src="UploadedPicture.jsp">image</img> HTML code in Upload.jsp
file .
Now I am unable to find out the mistakes which is needed for displaying the picture in the Upload.jsp page..

The link in the src is just a URL not a filetype. So just because it ends with JSP does not mean it has to return HTML. The content type is determined by the browser using the Content-Type header returned by the server in the HTTP response. In this case the header is set to be a jpeg so that's what the browser will attempt to interpret the content part of the response as.
So in fact one is not limited to just HTML or images but whatever content type you would like to return (that the browser can understand anyway). This could be HTML or it could be an image of some type or it could be a PDF or it could be an Excel spreadsheet. All you have to do in the JSP is set the header appropriately and then send content that is actually in that format.
This does not just apply to JSP by the way but all other web programming languages. You can do similar things to produce the same results in PHP, Perl, ASP etc.
The only JSP/Servlet complication is whether or not doing this in a JSP is a "good" idea but I am not an expert enough at that to make a definitive statement. Mostly though JDBC in a JSP is a no-no.

Basic would be ;
RESULT_FIELDS -xxx = <SOURCE_FIELDS> -xxx
you have the source fields as source, and result fields for as the target. In between you can check some conditions as in other routines of transformation.

I've been google searching for some sample source code to implement a voice recorder on my AudioVox 5600. I would like to learn how to read from the microphone and write to my SD card in a standard file format like wav, wma or mp3.

We are trying to use a continuous servo on our FTC team. The motor just runs and runs and never shuts off even when the programmed button is released. We see sample code for the 180 degree servos, but nothing for the continuous ones. Is there any sample code anywhere? Thanks.

I am using ucm10gr3 and want to implement sso with my web application running on wls, I don't have OAM, I need to implment sso with ucm by my code, reading the following statement in metalink:
REMOTE_USER is a computed Common Gateway Interface (CGI) variable that is used by the web server to indicate that the current acting request has been successfully authenticated as acting as the user identified by the value of this CGI variable. Getting the web server to set this variable for you is highly dependent on the particular APIs and data structures available in that web server. This may also require some customization and code be written within the web server, such as a custom web server plugin. This should not require additional code or components to be written on the UCM side.
In other words, This is not specially a content server configuration issue. If you can get any standard 3rd party web application (such as PHP -- for example a Wiki application) to get the SSO solution to work using standard webserver authentication techniques and doing nothing special in the application, then it should work without needing any additional UCM specific code.
All web servers have a built in understanding that the current request can act at the behest of a particular user. When web servers execute CGI applications, such as PHP, the standard CGI specification specifies that this user name be used to populate a parameter called REMOTE_USER. The mechanism by which this parameter is propagated to the script or plugin that is executing the request tends to be implementation specific. This parameter can be picked up by the CS web server plug-in.
Per my understanding, I need to use CGI to produce a variable named REMOTE_USER, and save username in it, but I am not a CGI guy, who can give me a demo for this?
Or is there any other solution to implement sso with ucm?

Sample JSP code needed with jdbc select lists

Hello java experts!
I need to create a series a jsp pages that connects to an ms access "books" database. This first page should connect to the books.mdb and populate select lists with the values from the database. The solution would be similar to the the books shopping cart in the CoreServlets book, EXCEPT I must do everything in JSP only.
All I have done to this point is Java servlets. (I've done shopping cart stud in ASP.net, but not JSP).
I know everyone hates to post code samples, but seeing the code will help me understand. I've read the API, the tutorials, 3 textbooks, and any other doc I could find. I understand Java beans and jsp, but I need to see the JSP for this to finally crystalize.
