I cannot seem to figure out how to use the Netbeans GUI in my Project with existing Ant Script. Is this possible? • How can I delete a row in access using the database toolkit?

I want to delete just one row of a access table using the database toolkit. Can it be done and if so How?

Take a look at page A-1 of the database connetivity manual. It has information on making a sql query that will delete. You will need to use this command with the dbtools execute query function. Look in the shipping examples for an example with this function.

    Hi,
I have a windows 2008 R2 Enterprise servers with standalone MS-SQL 2008 R2 named instance.  The server is having two networks, once production and the second for backup. The server FQDN is resolving to the production IP. The backup NIC

Successfuly able to connect using the instance name, the production hostname, production IP and backup IP.
but while trying to connect to the insance using the backup hostname getting the below error:

    Hi Sheri,
You might need to hard-code this --

    so.addParam("seamlessTabbing", "false"); // Add This

  • Internet access using the 3G net in Sweden

Hi! Swedish users hopefully understands what I meen if my English is poor. Thinking about buying a iTouch, my question is if it is possible to get online using a 3G modem? My provider in Sweden is Telenor and I have one of theirs modem.
    Thanks!
    /u

    frittfall,
The iPod Touch uses WiFi only.
The iPhone will use EDGE networks where available. In the U.S. most GSM locations that have 3G also have EDGE, including all of AT&T's 3G areas. EDGE, sometimes called 2.5 or 2.75G, was skipped over in some countries, and so you will only have GPRS (2G) in 3G areas.
    Hope this helps,

  • How to disable sap easy access menu for SAP GUI HTML

    hi,
in our portal i created an iview, which calls an SAP-ERP-Transaction, and displays it with the SAP GUI for HTML (webgui). well, i have a big problem: when i got a timeout, the user has to log on to the its and then i get the sap easy access menu.
the users should NOT be allowed to see the sap easy access menu ! they ONLY need to see the called transaction.
    any ideas ?
    best regards, Martin

    hi,
i have  set the 'singletransaction'-parameter in sicf for the webgui-service to value 1.
BUT: as soon as i click on the iview to display the transaction i got the message

  • Use the authorization object while creating RFC

    Hi All,
I'm able to create a RFC, can login from one sap system to another sap system and use the  following FM.  Here my concern is how to make the RFC more secure, i mean any user can access the target system with my login. Meanwhile came across a authorization object text box in the LOGON and SECURE tab while creating RFC.
so please put on light on how to authenticate the specific user to logon using the RFC.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards
    Lalitkumar.

    Hi Lalit,
Usually for RFC connection will be done with the, user type   system user type (means, they should not be able to login to system thru GUI)
    2. Even if the user know the login id / password, he should  have auth to create RFC like (SM59 and related auth objects)
and even for remote connection also we have different auth to restrict
    3. These type of authorization will be  given to basis guys only.
    4. Logon/Security
                 Lang-En
                 Client-` client no
                 user-  user
                 Password - bw password.
Here you will be specfying the  user id  ( system type)  / password for connecting from one system to another.
and in next tab you can do Test connection.

  • Query on rendering the Human Tasks in the customized GUI application.

    Hi All,
In oracle11g BPEL, Is there any way to render the Human Tasks in the Customized GUI (Weblogic Portal) application rather that using the applications like "Oracle BPM WorkList"?. Does the Oracle11g BPEL supports this ?. My requirement is that, i need to render the Human tasks inside my own GUI application. I do not want to allow the end user of my application to use the other GUI applications like Work List to wotk up on the human tasks. Instead of this, User must be able to access and work up on the BPEL human tasks through my Customized GUI (Weblogic Portal) application. Is there any way in Oracle11g BPEL to achieve the required functionality?.

    Hi Naga
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E14571_01/apirefs.1111/e10660/toc.htm
    1. I would not recommend using APIs unless and otherwise if you do not have any other option. You can always create the TaskForms in your own custom pages using out of box generated bindings for each .TASK file. This gives more flexibility. There are lots of stuff associated with a Task apart from your own custom payload like full Task details, system attributes, headers, history, comments/attachments etc. You do not want to use APIs to get all these.
The below 2 links should give you an overview of overall architecture of a Workflow and TaskForms.
Re: Integrating BPM taskflows into an ADF application
Re: deploying a large Oracle BPM Application with multiple UI projects
    Re: What exactly 'PAYLOAD' Means???
Once you have basics covered, refer oracle docs also that shows how to reuse a single project.
    Thanks

  • Using my new GUI component in an applet :Help!!!

I am seeking help for the following
Define class MyColorChooser as a new component so it can be reused in other applications or applets. We want to use the new GUI component as part of an applet that displays the current Color value.
The following is the code of MyColorChooser class
    * a) We define a class called MyColorChooser that provides three JSlider
    * objects and three JTextField objects. Each JSlider represents the values
    * from 0 to 255 for the red, green and blue parts of a color.
    * We use wred, green and blue values as the arguments to the Color contructeur
    * to create a new Color object.
    * We display the current value of each JSlider in the corresponding JTextField.
    * When the user changes the value of the JSlider, the JTextField(s) should be changed
    * accordingly as weel as the current color.
    * b)Define class MyColorChooser so it can be reused in other applications or applets.
    * Use your new GUI component as part of an applet that displays the current
    * Color value.

  • Block database access using toad or other tools

We have a forms application running on oracle database 10g release 2, with the users created in the application the database can be accessed using the same id's through sql plus or any other tool. We have already restricted sql plus access by product_user_profile. Is there any other way to make sure toad or any other tool can be stopped from accesing the database.
    Thanks

I've a blog post on this issue. You can look for .exe extentsion of the program which connects to the database

  • Passing variables using the URL

in the past I have alsways used internal navigation methods
within Flex - i.e. viewStacks, and linkBars etc... but I need to
use an (existing) external menu and link (communicate) it to my
    Flex Application.....
is it possible to pass variable to (into) a flex 2
    application using a URL
    e.g.
    http://...............
    ?page=homepage
picking this variable ("page") up and getting its value (in
    this case "homepage")
and then use the variable in the Flex application to display
    the relevent component...... ???
basically, I am trying to navigate through a Flex application
using an external menu system etc...... and displaying the
particular components within the Flex application relevent to the
select links (within the external menu system) communicating the
    two using a URL etc......
    thanks,
    Jon.

Passing data into a Flex app using the url on startup
requires working with the html handler, causing it to build
flashvars in the Embed or Object tag. Inside Flex, these are
    accessed using the Application.parameters array.
But it sounds like you want ongoing communication between the
Flex app and the browser. For this you should use
ExternalInterface. I have not used it at all, so I can't be any
    specific help.

  • Kids are using the WiFi all night long and not sleeping... How can I temporarily turn off the WiFi at night using the Airport Extream or Airport Utility?  I must keep the guest network up as I have a tenant in an apartment over my garage using that.

My kids are up all night streaming Netflix and using the WiFi on their iPads and Apple TV. The next day they don't want to get up and go to school. Is there a way I can set up a separate access point for just the kids in AirPort Extreme and then turn that one off when i go to bed? Or somehow turn off the main network when I go to bed, without having to reconfigure the entire router the next day, and then simply turn it back on the next morning?  I have to keep the Guest Network up as I have a paying tenant living in an apartment over my garage that uses that network.
In the event it's not possible with the AirPort Extreme, any other suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

You can configure the AirPort Extreme for Timed Access using the AirPort Utility. Basically what you are doing is restricting the time of a wireless device by its MAC address has access to the base station's wireless network.
To access this feature: AirPort Utility > Select the Extreme > Edit > Network tab > Enable Access Control: Timed Access Control...

  • How can I set the caption text of picture controls inside an array or how can I choose which array element is assigned using the array elements caption text property.

I have 8 picture controls inside an array and I would like to set the caption text of these controls.
I have used the property node of the array and used the array elements property caption text to set the text.
The problem is however that I set the same text to all the picture controls inside the array.
My question is how to set caption text of specific elements (Picture control) that I have so far only been able to access using the array elements caption text property.

    Some more help
1 You could use the caption of the array and place it in front of the selected picture and update that using property nodes.
2 Like Norbett said if you use a cluster of pictures then their caption can be updated individually.
Here is a an example that demonstrates the above

  • Limiting web access using an RV110W

Is it possible to set up an RV110W to limit access to only specified websites according to a schedule?
I can block access to specific sites using the Internet Access Policy settings under Firewall, but I can't figure out a successful way to block access to all sites except those specified.  I also tried establishing access rules but that did not work either.

    The Internet Access Policy
worked mediocre for me, It opnly work if I specify the optional client MAC address or IP
BUT it only bliock http pages (port 80), if the client access the blocked site in https (port 443) it allow him to do it.
so I was not able to block Facebook access using the Internet Access Policy
I need to it in the Access Rules, and by this I had to type all the IP address that Facebook use (I just hope they don't add new IP soon)
