Thank you...

Hi Victor,
ad 1) What exactly do you want to do? Store a created PDF in KM? Fill a PDF template with user data received from portal? Store created XML data? Please explain.
ad 2) The portal content portfolio is a special area here in SDN where portal content provided by SAP as well as third party content is listed (business packages). It was formerly known as iView studio. You can find it <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/developerareas/contentportfolio">here</a>

  • SAP Interactive Forms and SAP Smart Forms for Human Capital Management

    Hi gurus,
pls help me understand what are SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe and SAP Smart Forms for Human Capital Management (HCM)?

    read here
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ABAP/SAPInteractiveFormsbyAdobe#SAPInteractiveFormsbyAdobe-WhatarethedifferencesbetweenSmartFormsandAdobeForms%3F
What are the differences between Smart Forms and Adobe Forms?
For both of them, SAP dynamically creates a function module that must be called from an ABAP program to generate the form
In Smart Forms, it is possible to add ABAP code during generation of the form, that is not possible with Adobe Forms
It is possible to add javascript or FormCalc code in Adobe Forms, which is executed during the generation of the form

  • Third party software and sap interactive forms

    Hi,
Is it possible that data (from a third party software) be sent to an SAP interactive form hosted on an SAP instance?
    Thanks
    Benoît Vézina

Here is what i want to achieve. I want to create an Adobe form in my DM instance (webdynpro or java). I still have some old application that are not on the SAP platform but those applications could use the same adobe Form. So instead of maintaining Adobe form for DM and another for my non-sap application, i would like send the data from that non-sap application to the forms that is in my DM sap instance, is it possible.
    Thanks for your time

  • Interactive Forms and submit to sap

    Hi Everybody!
I'm doing a application using interactive forms and web dynpro. However nothing happens when pushing the Submit to SAP button.I've been watching all foruns about this issue....but the submit to sap button doesn't work.
Could somebody tell me where I can find a read-to-use project that works fine with submit to sap button?
    Thanks!! =)
(I'm using WAS 6.40, the Adobe reader 6.0.2, NDS 2.0.11 and the ACF is installed.)

    Hi Luiza
some of the interactive Adobe tutorials on the Web Dynpro tutorial page also contain Submit buttons.

<i>Integration for Business Workflow and SAP Interactive forms by Adobe (RIG session 7)</i>
I can play nearly all the other eBooks, but not this one. Any idea ???

It is not possible to view the ebook with IE 7.0. So I removed the new Internet Explorer and everythink is working fine.

  • What we can do by SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe and What we cannot do

My question is what we can do by SIFbA and What we cannot do. Means advantages and disadvantages of SIFbA in online and offline scenarios.

You can save a PDF file into another PDF file. If both are interactive forms and after completeing one process (first form) you want to keep the reference in the second form, you can upload the first one as the attachment into the second one. In the backend SAP system you can extract data from the second, extract the attachments from the second (what is the first form), then extract data from the first one too. if you have no access, there is no help. But if you have ocasional access to the net, you could use web services called from your forms.

  • "Credentials and Password for SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe" is expired

    Hi fellow SAP'ers.
Apparently the test credentials for SAP Interactive Forms in the downloadsection on SDN is expired.
These were valid until October 2009.
I hope I'm doing the right thing by posting this here.
Can someone from the SDN-team renew it or pass the message to the correct person?
    Thank you for your feedback.
    Best regards,
    Tom.

    Ok it has been renewed.
Thought it was for a longer period but apparently these credentials are renewed each month.
    Best regards,
    Tom.

  • How can user attach file to interactive form, and be read by abap program?

    Hello,
I created an abap interactive form, sent to the user, then user fills out the form fields, then it is uploaded back to sap, then my program reads this data and process it.
    It works.
Now I want users to be able to attach any file they want, and the abap program to extract this file out of the PDF, to put it into SAP (or anywhere).
I succeeded in attaching a file, I can "see" it via function module get_annotations, but I get the file in compressed form by Adobe (filter="FlateDecode").
Do you know how to unzip the file, or is there another way to attach files in adobe reader/extract them via abap?
    I use acrobat reader 8.1.2
    Thx a lot!
    sandra
Below is the xml obtained by GET_ANNOTATIONS. We see that there are other text annotations, and that the attached file has {length="98005"}, though real file (before "attach file" to the PDF, and also after "detach file") has length 111 995 bytes. It's why I deduced that there is a compression (I also tried to extract it as-is and open it with adobe but it doesn't work.

    Hello everybody,
I am sure you have an answer to my question above. It was :
how is it possible for a user to ATTACH files to a PDF interactive form, and then be able to READ them via a program ? (I guess the solution to read them via ABAP or JAVA is quite the same?)
    Thx a lot !

  • Need Sap Interactive forms Scenario.

    Hi Experts! Its an urgent,
I need some simple scenario based on HR related for Sap Interactive forms by adobe, If it is workflow invoved also no problem. Any  one can send that plz.
    Advance Thanks,
    vikram.c

    Hi Vikram,
If the MSS (manager Self Service) packages are deployed in your portal, you will be able to use the PCR (Personnel change Request) Forms. You can submit the forms and the approvals can be prorperly routed using the Worlkflow.
There are a list of standard PCR forms provided by SAP. Please do look into them for a demo.
At the R/3 end, you will get the details of these PCR forms (ISR - Internal Service Requests), using the transaction - QISRSCENARIO.
    Do dig into this link.
      <a href="https://websmp109.sap-ag.de/adobe">Interactive Forms based on Adobe</a>
Hope you have got your answer.
Kindly update if it helps you. Also search in SDN for relevant detials. There are many general threads in this forum, regrding introductory links.

  • JetForm und SAP Interactive Forms

    Hallo zusammen,

  • SAP Interactive Form & ABAP Webdynpro course for Senior ABAPer

    Hello Experts-
I am experienced ABAP developer and mostly getting ABAP Dev lead kind of roles in my projects.
Having this back ground I want to learn more about SAP Interfactive forms and abap web dynpro technology.
Can anyone help me to understand which SAP Courses should I take to understand these new technologies to lead my teams.?
Please let me know if you need further details.
    Thanks,

Have you tried any of the eLearning courses available on SDN?  There are several courses that may be a fit under the Intermediate and Advanced tabs.
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/interactiveforms-elearning
Where are you located?  I believe SAP Education in EMEA has put together a course on SAP Interactive Forms; however, it has not come to North America (yet).
    Hope this helps.

  • SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe in ABAP testdrive?

    Hi
Can I try  SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe in ABAP environment?
According to the download page the java testdrive 04s SP9 contains SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe , but I would like to use it in an ABAP environment  and - again according to the download page - the abap testdrive 04s SP11 doesn't contain the SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe.
    Best regards
    Thomas

    Hi again
I solved the problem by installing the Adobe Designer 7.1.
Now my next problem is that I have no ADS (Adobe Document service).
That makes sense to my Adobe forms newbi brain. My guess is that the ADS must run on the JAVA stack and my testdrive is a ABAP stack only.
My next shot will be to install an JAVA testdrive on top of my ABAP testdrive and see what happens.

  • SAP interactive forms by Adobe

    Hi All,
I have SAP-CRM 5.0 installed in my system. Kindly let me know what are the extra softwares and hardwares configuration needed inorder to work on the SAP interactive forms by Adobe.
Also, I want to know the basic architecture how it is working.
    Thanks,
    Samm

    Hi cozy,
you have to configure ADS on your Java Visual Administrator for Adobe forms development. No extra H/W configuration is needed. You can search for the document containing details of ADS configuration or tell me your email-id I will send it to you.
    Reward points if helpful.
