SAP ISA B2C  - concurrent connections

We have a SAP ISA Solution develop over CRM 4.0.
We are in productive now.
We are getting some performance issues in our CRM system (CRP) when we
have a high number of users in our SAP ISA B2C site at the same time.
We’ve noticed that our CRM system is not responding so well, the Dialog
instances are always in its maximum processing, leading to a bad
performance in our Online Site.
We get all the Dialog processes (21) fill up with the execution of the
reports SAPLSZA0 and SAPLSZA13, getting 20 – 25 seconds to process the
request. It seams that these processes refer to our default user login
(when a client enters in our site, the site automatically logs him in
our system, with our default user). In a normal user site access the
processes only take 1 – 2 seconds.
We had to close the site, temporarly to see if we could solve the problem. We have closed the site in the firewall, but still, all these processes
remained in the CRM system and they have continued there until we have
turn off our SAP ISA J2EE application server (always coming more and more
processes). Only then the processes disappeared from the CRM system.
Is J2EE making a big queue of processes when we get a high number of
connections, even when the users has left the site?
There is some tool to analyse how many connections we have in a specific moment ?

Hello Harsha,
perhaps you get some help in the Best Practice Guide http://help.sap.com/bp_crmv250/CRM_DE/BBLibrary/html/BBlibrary.htm -> C14: CRM E-Commerce.

  • Wanted R/3 ISA B2C with example.

    Hello All,
I am new in this field and would like to have document about creating Step by step an ISA project with NWDS for B2C scenario and B2B scenario NOT on CRM but on R/3 edition.
Please send it to me on my email address [email protected]
I really appreciate any one help in this matter and also pl. tell me if there are other helpful site on which I can read about how to start programming in r/3 ISA B2C with example.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Rajesh

    Hi Rajesh
I'm working with Rapidigm-Fujitsu Consulting Co. in pune..
Now I've successfully deployed and configured the ISA..
I've also created the users in the CRM and assign
    respective roles to them ..
Below is the procedure to deploying and configuring
the CRM ISA B2B Application :
Before starting I assume that you have following
    compoonents with you.
    1.) SAP J2EE Engine 6.2
    2.) ISA WAC SP03
3.) MSSQL SERVER 2000 (Optional, If u need to use
    JavaBasket in ur application)
    Procedure :
    1.) Extract ISAWACSP03.sar file using command sapcar.exe
2.) You will get following archive files :
        a.) Novell_LDAP.sda
        b.) SAPPortalsUMRefrence.sda
        c.) useradmin.ear
        d.) webcatadmin.ear
        e.) shopadmin.ear
        f.) b2b.ear
        g.) b2c.ear
        h.) and many other files..
3.) Also download the latest JBasis Library from service.sap.com..
4.)Open the SDM tool integrated with SAP J2EE ..
    5.)Deploy the JBasis_<LatestVersion>.sda using SDM.
    6.)Deploy Novell_LDAP.sda using SDM
    7.)Deploy SAPPortalsUMReference.sda using SDM
    8.)Deploy Useradmin.ear using SDM .
Note before deploying the useradmin you have to specify the path of the xcm, always take it in the another directory eg. : C:\usr\sap\rp0945\java\xcm\useradmin
also give the other parameters before deploying the application
9.) Follow the above procedure for shopadmin.ear and webcatadmin.ear and deploy the application.
    the xcm path
    ->for shopadmin: C:\usr\sap\rp0945\java\xcm\shopadmin
    ->for webcatadmin: C:\usr\sap\rp0945\java\xcm\webcatadmin
10.) To deploy the b2b.ear I'll suggest you to first build
the application using BuildTool(For more info on
Buildtool see the sapnotes on service.sap.com)
11.) After building deploy the application (b2b_<NameGiven>.ear eg. b2b_client.ear ) in the
"project_ear" folder of your buildtool directory.
Note:  Before deploying b2b application you have to
provide certain paramters (like xcm path etc.) in the
lower left frame of the SDM window.
If the parameter option are denoted with red icon then there are certain parameters left for deployment..
The parameter icon should be green to successfully deploying the application ...
12.) Now test the application by opening the url
    http://localhost:50000/b2b_client/b2b/init.do
13.) You will get the b2b index page on your Web Browser.
14.) Till now we have completed the deployment procedure of B2B, Now some configuration part is left to
    successfully running the application ...
    CONFIGURING THE ISA ..
There are 2 types of configuration involved in the ISA :
1.) At the CRM Server level
    2.) At the Application level
1.) CRM Server level Configuration :
This configuration includes the creation of Users
and assigning the roles to the Users..
We have to create 2 type of users :
a.) Service User (RFC Enabled users)
      b.) Dialouge User
    a.) Service User :
1.) Open the transaction SU01 and give the username="WEBCONNECT"
2.)  Assign the type of user = "Service"
           Maintain a valid email address
3.) In the roles tab, add a user role = "SAP_CRM_ISA_ITS"
Give the alias name of the user : "WEBCONNECT"
       4.) Click on "SAVE"
5.) Create another user namely "WEBCONNECT1" and assign
          the same role to it.
Maintain a valid email address and give the alias
          name : "WEBCONNECT1"
       6.) Click on "SAVE"
    b.) Dialog User
       1.) Open transaction SU01
2.) Create another user namely "WEBADMIN"
3.) Maintain the email address for this user
4.) Assign the following roles to it :
           -> SAP_CRM_INTERNET_CUSTOMER
           -> SAP_CRM_ISA_UA_SUPERUSER
           -> SAP_CRM_ISA_WEBSHOP_MANAGER
       5.) Click on "Save"
6.) Close the CRM Gui client and login with this user
(WEBADMIN) and then change the password.
2.) Application Level configuration using XCM
       a.) open url :
           http://localhost:50000/useradmin/admin/xcm/init.do
           Login with Username : Administrator
                      Password : <blank>
b.) Now in the Menu Components->Customers->jco
create ur own jco configuration for eg: I've created
          with configuration name  "jco_myconfig"
       c.) Provide the Following Parameters
           Base Configuration : SERVER_CONNECT
           ashost : crmserver.company.com
           client : 100
           lang   : en
           maxcon : 100
           passwd : <your WEBCONNECT password>
           sysnr  : 00
           user   : WEBCONNECT
d.) save the configuration and click on "run test"
e.) If you get the green screen then
"connection succeeded" else you will get a Red
            Screen if the connection failed.
        f.) Now in the Menu
           Start->ApplicationConfiguration->Customer
Create your own configuration and assign ur jco
configuration to it ("jco_myconfig" in my case)
g.) Follow the same procedure for shopadmin,
            webcatadmin .
h.) You can follow the above procedure for b2b but
with diffrent username and password (In my case
            "WEBCONNECT1" )
           RESTART THE J2EE ENGINE...
        i.) open the url :
           http://localhost:50000/useradmin/useradmin/init.do
provide the login Username : WEBADMIN
           Password : <whatever u have provided>
j.) Create a user using this web application and
assign the roles according to it .(Remember now
you are creating a B2B User,so assign the roles
            as needed).
k.) Save that user and open url :
            http://localhost:50000/b2b_client/b2b/init.do
        l.) Thats all ...
You can now run your b2b scenario application
online and can create online Sales Order and much more
I hope you will find this tutorial helpfull...

I started getting this when we upgraded our sandbox ERP system to EHP4 and our ISA/E-commerce java apps to 7.0.
We also updated our ERP's OS to Windows Server 2008 R2 and SQL Server 2008R2.
The Java side is a Developer Workplace installed on Windows XP.
I have checked t-code WWM3 and ERS300_001_001 is there and there is data in it.
I checked SRMO and the indexes look fine as well as TREX. ( I have also deleted and recreated them)
All the connections seem good between ERP and TREX.
There are no short dumps or errors in ST22 or SM21.
ST11 doesn't have any error logs that I can see when I am trying to connect from B2B.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thank you,
    Neil

The issue was with the TREX configuration in Visual Administrator.
    From Visual Administrator:
Server -> Services -> TREX Service
    Then change nameserver.address to tcpip://<host>:<port>

    Thanks Ashok,
I created a B2C reference user, but I am still getting the same error. I used that user's email address & password to create the account. It gives runtime error & the log shows the null pointer exception in RFCWrapperUserBaseR3.class.

  • TeaLeaf for ISA B2C shop version 4.0

    Hello,
i have installed the TeaLeaf software with the MS SQL Server Portal feature and i have connected my b2c sites with the tealeaf server. I can see from the tealeaf server, the tealeaf socket status and the activity when i navigate in my ISA b2c sites which are hosted in a number of servers.
For the Tealeaf web administration i choose <<All Active Sessions>> http://myserver:19000/STCSessionList
but although a lot of people (with different IP addresses) access my b2c site at the same time, in the <<All Active Sessions>>  web administration i see only 1 session and only the hits are increasing!
If i check the SessionInfo link from Tealeaf web administration http://myserver:19000/STCSessionList i see that all the TLTSID and TLTUID=00000000000000000000000000
My conclusion is that tealeaf only records the hits and not the Sessions and the Users. Why??????
Check the following SessionInfo  xml :

  • How can we reset the session data in SAP ISA B2B application.

com.sap.isa.isacore.action.IsaCoreInitAction$StartupParameter this action class providing the special feature to store all data passed to it in the request as parameters into the session context and make them available for all other actions.
    1. But in the inner class they had defined private parametrized constructor.
    2. Action class is defined as final.(there is no chance to override the method)
    3. There is no setter method (only getter() is available).
    4. Creating a new Z_ class that is reflecting in entire application.
5.They had hard coded the Session attribute name in Action class.
    6. Application is expecting a session object with the same attributes.
Is there any chance to create a new object for this class or any where any chance to reset the session data. Am using the Multiple_SoldTO concept in my application. My back end ECC .Please help me.

I am not sure about your requirement, but yet.. Did you check UserSessionData object? It encompasses all the session variables.

  • Max concurrent connections

Coming back to a topic that was posted a few months ago with
    an
    additional question:
    >I believe you mean to ask, "What is the maximum number of
    >concurrent connections such as those used in loadMovie or
    XML.load?"
    >If this is what you're asking then there are no current
    limits. However,
    >the sending server may limit concurrent connections for a
    single client
    >to any number so the loads may fail if they exceed this
    limit. The
    >limitations are therefore server-based, not Flash based,
    and they will
    >differ from server to server.
    My question:
While Flash doesn't enforce a limit, do any/all browsers
    enforce
limits? If I wanted to load up 50, 100, 200 movies at once,
    where if
    anywhere would I be limited?
Also, it seems that, in a test program loading a bunch of
images from a server concurrently, I am not able to get more than
two at once. Is this purely a server issue?
    -andy

    Hi,
    I imagine it does.
Also I guess if we are talking about just some random UDP traffic it would also mean that the default timeout for a connection would be 2min. The most usual UDP traffic would probably be DNS querys. In those cases I presume though that the UDP connections dont stay on firewall for long as long as the firewall sees the DNS reply.
But as I said if we are talking about some random UDP traffic that is allowed through the firewall I would guess it stays in the connection table of the firewall for a couple of minutes. So you might be looking at 1000 concurrent connections or even more?
I have once witnessed a single server sending so much UDP traffic that it reached the connection limit of an ASA5540 which is 400 000 concurrent connections.

  • SAP ECC6.0 cannot connect to SQL Server Database after recreating DB server

We had a disaster with our ECC 6.0 Development system a few days ago.  The system is called “DEV”.  The SQL Server database server got wiped out and we didn’t have a backup.  Luckily, we did have a backup of the database.  Our system engineers rebuilt the server and our DBA reinstalled SQL Server and restored the database.  The database came up fine, but when we try to start SAP, it fails.  “R3trans –d” also fails.  The database is SQL Server 2008R2 10.50.2769.  The OS is Windows Server 2008R2.
We verified that the “devadm” and “SAPServiceDEV” accounts have permissions on the on the server. We set the following Environment Variables for the devadm account on the database server:
    DBMS_TYPE = mss
    MSSQL_DBNAME = DEV
    MSSQL_SCHEMA = dev
    MSSQL_SERVER = <database server name>
    SAPLOCALHOST = <database server name>
    SAPSYSTEMNAME = DEV
We also set the following Registry Key:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/SAP/DEV
    Type:     REG_SZ
    Value:   AdmUser
    String:   <database server name>\devadm
We didn’t install any kind of SAP software on the database server.
Is there any kind of SAP components we need to install on the database server?  Do we need to run the SAP installer on the database server to get everything setup correctly?  I looked at another one of our SQL Server database servers and it has SAP Management Console installed and there is a C:\Program Files\SAP\hostcntl folder.  I don't know what that is or it has anything to do with SAP being able to connect to the database.
Here is the error message in the R3trans log file:

  • Documentation for com.sap.isa.FrameworkConfigManager

    Hi,
We have a new Java developer that doesn't have experience with SAP E-Commerce 5.0 (specifically B2B) and I have been given the task to gather up as much documentation as possible for him.
So far I have found these documents:
    - IPC in SAP ECommerce for mySAP ERP.pdf
    - SAP E-Commerce for mySAP ERP: Business Scenario Configuration Guide.pdf
    - SAP E-Commerce 5.0: Examples and Tutorials.pdf
    - SAP E-Commerce 5.0 u2013 Landscape, Basics and Concepts.pdf
    - SAP Internet Sales (R/3 Edition) in a B2B Scenario.pdf
He now came back to me and wants specific documentation on: com.sap.isa.FrameworkConfigManager
Does anyone know where I can find this?
    Thank you in advance!
    Neil
