SAP Scripts : Multiple Performs in same program

dear All,
I am working on SAP Script. I had user a perform statement and written a Code in Sub-routine. that works well, Now I have to use other perform to a carry other operation, Can I use same program, and Add new code to it or Create other program.
I will try to explain more clearly ..
PERFORM GET_TEXT IN PROGRAM ZGET_STEXT
Using var1
using Var2
Changing Var3.
Now if I tooo Add other perform to my Script.
Can I use
PERFORM GET_STtext IN PROGRAM ZGET_STEXT
Using var4
using Var5
Changing Var6.
and Add extra code to do extra operation for same ZGET_Stext program,
Please advice me.

In first form I have assigned
text = Sgtext.
So I guess I have to clear int_cond and assign new value for second form .

Hi for that you have to do following.
1. Create a ZPROGRAM
2. Write a Perform in your SAP Script.
3. Write Form inside it your ZPROGRAM.

1. while calling subroutines from sapscripts,
there is a special technique,
which has got its own limitations.
2.
FORM abc
TABLES
in_tab STRUCTURE itcsy
out_tab STRUCTURE itcsy.
ENDFORM.
3. The perform in se38 program should be of the
above format only.
4. We cannot pass internal tables.
5. Rather we need to pass
VARIABLE NAME
VARIABLE VALUE
(see the structure of itcsy in se11)
6. In this form, we have to read
the internal table in_tab
to capture the variable name and its value.
7. Similary, to return the values,
we have to put one record (for each variable)
in out_tab.

Calling ABAP Subroutines: PERFORM
You can use the PERFORM command to call an ABAP subroutine (form) from any program, subject to the normal ABAP runtime authorization checking. You can use such calls to subroutines for carrying out calculations, for obtaining data from the database that is needed at display or print time, for formatting data, and so on.
PERFORM commands, like all control commands, are executed when a document is formatted for display or printing. Communication between a subroutine that you call and the document is by way of symbols whose values are set in the subroutine.
Syntax in a form window:

You can print Multiple lines but if the content is exceeding the window size then it is truncated that means it is not displayed and we cannot have flow data with secondary windows .

Using Sum field in Sap script

I am trying to add content of field (Tax VAT) in sap script and put into another symbol using following command

I am modifying medruck std PO script and using standard prog. for it i.e. SAPFM06P.
Please tell me wheather it is necessary to make sum symbol dynamically define in SAPFM06P and how to do this.

If you need to summ numbers or do any operation, in your SAP Script you can call subritunes and do all the operations you need.
On your SAP script write:

PS: You can use as many USING AND CHANGING as you need.

I think you have to use MODIFY instead of append for the OUTPUT table.
MOdify the table with KEY. This should resolve the problem.

how to create a spool number for a SAP script. What is the program name which we should modify to write the code logic for spool creation for the tcode ME9F ?

Hi,
Spool Request in Transaction SP01 and there by generated a Spool Request Number.
Spool request is a document for which a print function has been selected. However, it has not yet been output to a printer or another device. The output data for the print document is stored partly formatted in a data store until an output request is created, that is, until it is sent to a particular output device.
The spool system uses a spool request to store the print data temporarily and to access it. The data is stored in a temporary format. You can also display the print document. The system automatically assigns a 10-digit ID number to a spool request.
Output request: From the point of view of the SAP spool system, an output request outputs the print data of a spool request to a particular output device.
Multiple output requests may exist for a single spool request. Each represents an instance of the output of the same spool request. Each of these output requests may have different attributes, such as the target printer or number of copies.
By differentiating between spool request and output requests, the spool system provides a means of storing the data temporarily.
You will get the spool no. in the parameter JOB_OUTPUT_INFO after calling the smartform function module in print program. The spool ids of the prints is stored in table JOB_OUTPUT_INFO-SPOOLIDS.
Also if this spool is being generated internal to your program, then SY-SPONO should have the value.
You need to create an Adobe Form Application, get the data from the backend based on Spool request number.
You can create an application in Webdynpro, wherein when you click on a button and the Adobe Form is displayed with all the data from the backend and you should be able to print it.

In that one field is amount discription "REGUP-SGTXT". i want to use field "REGUP-SGTXT" as a discription. for sap script payment print i use T-Code f-43, fb03,f-58... now in whic T-code i fiiled the value of "REGUP-SGTXT"?? how can i update value in my sap script?? cause i ceateed so many doc no but "REGUP-SGTXT" its blank... so how can i fill this fiels???

So better write an external PERFORM subroutine in the SCRIPT and fetch it from BSEG/BKPF tables using BELNR field and use in the cheque printing.

Problem in sap script for Item data

Hi Guys ,
Although I am working in ABAP for last 1 year but I am new to SAP script , This is first time I am doing this -
I am creating excise invoice profarma and able to print all that data except J_1IEXCDTL ( Item data ) that I have to display in loop ,
I am using
LOOP AT ITAB_J_1IEXCDTL.

My problem is that this is working fine for 1 record but if there are more than 1 record in ITAB_J_1IEXCDTL. , it is showing only first record ,
Other thing i want to know what is connection of element between Driver program and sap script , Can we give any name to element and it doesnt make any impact on Sap script

Break point in SAP Script

Hi Guys,
I just wanted to clarify something.
In report if i do write break point then while running the program the system will halt there allowing me to debug.
Is this functionality possible in SAP script too??
I mean is breakpoint a valid statement in SAP Script?

1) If you want to debugg the perform then
there are 2 ways to bebug a sap script.
one by using standard program
goto se38 and ececute RSTXBUG and give ur script name debug the perform.
other one is
put a soft breat point in u r perform code(in program)
like
BREAK SAP-USER.
then when u execute u will directly goto debug mode.
2) normally you can debugg the script by
In se71, Chose from menu:
Utilities-> Activate Debugger
From the transaction, In the output message screen, you chose chose your output type, Go to Further options, Chose the dispatch option as Send at periodically scheduled jobs . then save the transaction. And run the prigram RSNAST00 It would stop at the debugging.

In the text that is in bold in teh code snippet, I am tring to pass the values one-by-one and print in the output.
But only the last line item from that table is begining printed. The other lines are overwritten by the last line.
How should I display all the lines in the internal table it_cond.

U are using a variable window to print the 'total_cond' text element..
so whenever u call the write form for a variable window .. it will get over written by the current contents.. I t wont append the contents to the form...
Instead u use this text element in the MAIN window then onli u will get all the data..
i hope this is the problem..

Question on form printing in SAP scripts

Hi,
I would like to know whether it is possible to print color logos in forms using sap scripts or not ?
If possible, please provide the steps for uploading a color logo into the form using a sap script.
Is the color of the logo displayed only in the printout or can it seen in the print preview as well after uploading the logo?

Hi,
First you have to import the logo into SAP through TCode SE78 (if it is a BMP file) and using program RSTXLDMC (if it is of TIFF file).
Go to SE78 -> Double click Graphics -> double click BMAP -> then go to Menu Graphic then select Import. Then give the name and description. Then choose whether it should be in colour or black and white. This completes the process of importing the logo into SAPscript.
Then you can use the name of this object in SCRIPTS .IN Sap script, YOu can include text object(if you have uploaded the image using rstxldmc) or include graphic if you have used se78 in text elements section of the Page windows.
