Scope of list ALV for MM report

Hi,
somebody knows like creating a scope of list format that is ALV?exists some check to determine that the list format is ALV? I need to visualize report ME2L in ALV format.

Hi,
Go to path SPRO->Materials management ->Purchasing->Reporting->Scope of list->Define scope of list.
Select the scope of list for which you want to see the ALV, then click on the details button.
Check the box Use ALV grid control at the bottom.
This will provide ALV display.

Scope of list ALV not defined (please correct) in rm06bkps program

hi experts,
i have to add some fields in me5j t-code, for this i have copied the standard program as z prog. But at time of execution it gives an error
"Scope of list ALV not defined (please correct)
Message no. ME287"
At the time of debugging i found gf_factory object is not filled, but im unable to trace that variable
even i have searhed the same on SDN but the quetion is not answerd.
please help me out ASAP.

im_service variable has programe name, im_scope has "ALV" . then it execution goes in case statement where it checks the im_service with standard prog name.
as in case im_service has zprog, so it doesnt go to any when case and hence the prob.

when i run the z program and change the parameter scope of list to ALV i get the message

in fm

Config Scope of list ALV as default for reports ME5A / ME5J / ME5K

Hi all,
We had performed configuration SPRO> Materials management-> purchasing> reporting>maintain pur.list->scope of list->define default values for transaction to set ALV as default scope of list for a number of transactions.
It is all okay for transactions: ME2B, ME2C, ME2J, .... ME3B, ME3C, ME3J, ME3K, ME3L, ME3M. But for ME5A / ME5J / ME5K, the default of scope of list became "A" (3-line + n special) instead of "ALV" even the configruation had been done.
How can we solve this? Thanks.

For T-code ME5A / ME5J / ME5K Configuration path is Materials management-> purchasing> reporting-->maintain PURCHASE REQUSTION LISTS --->define default values for transactions to set ALV as default scope of list.

We have taken a Z Copy of ME2N to add a few fields. Now we are not able display the report in ALV . But the ALV view is displayed in standard ME2N transaction. Kindly advise.

Using Select List value for building report

I have an interactive report form. I have a "After Header" (LOAD) process that run sql commands that will populate a table with the data that the report needs for a given week.
I have a Select List item that is run as a "Before Header" that gets a list of dates from a table. The dates only contain the first day of the week for the past two years. It is called "WEEK_OF" table and the column is called "WEEK_OF_DATE".
The default value for the Select List is the first day of the current week. And then all of the first day of the week from the WEEK_OF table.
I would like the LOAD process to use the value in the Select List. So at start up I would like the List to show the current week and report to begin with data from the current week.
So I have tried to use the variable :WEEK_OF_DATE (Item name) as the beginning date for the report. However :WEEK_OF_DATE is null.
Also, after I have the report displayed, I would like to select a new date from the list and have the report automatically refresh with that new data.
Any Ideas what I am doing wrong?

Hi Lyle,
When setting a default value for a select list that is to be used to filter a report, I have found it best to do that using a computation, conditional on the item being NULL and running Before Header. If other computations rely on this value, then it should have the lowest sequence number to ensure that the value is available for those.

Hi, Abapers ... i try to write a programme which using ONE oop ALV but 2 different structure internal table. the last result should be 2 radio button. first button is r_wbs and 2ns r_kpi. r_wbs will display 4 column answer and r_kpi will display 10 columns answer with different column name. i successfully implemented using FIELDS SYMBOLS but the problems i failed to perform customized setting forALV (report's tittle, column name, different layout etc) for 2 different reports. this is the programme. I had similar requirement wherein I was supposed to display different data using 2 different internal tables on a subscreen area.
The screen consists of two parts: 1) selection-screen with few input fields and two buttons 2) Subscreen area where the report need to be displayed. This report is displayed based on the button that the user is selecting. For this I have done the following things:
1. Capture the sy-ucomm when user is clicking on any of the two buttons in PAI. Then perform data fetch operation.

ME55 was executing successfully in ALV Scope of List but not ZME55.

ALV output for Purchase reports

Hi Friends,
How can I have ALV output for my Purchase reports like ME2L, ME2N, ME2M. My scope of Lists do not have ALV output as yet. How do we configure it..?

which ECC version are you working on? I think versions below 4.7 didnt have ALV (im not sure though)
Try this path :
SPRO->Materials mgmt->purchasing->Reportng->Maintain Purchasing lists->Scope of lists->Define scope of list.
check if ALV is maintained here. if not , create ZALV by Copying from ALLES or make your own new one ZALV , and inside ZALV , make sure to Tick the "Use ALV grid Control" in the last tab "settings for ALV grid control"

List header for alv grid using abap objects

Hai all,
I have displayed alv grid in container control using abap objects i.e. using method set_table_for_first_display.
now i need to display list header for this alv grid.
please help me how to create with a sample coding.

Create a splitter using CL_GUI_EASY_SPLITTER_CONTAINER with a top and bottom half. Put the alv grid in the bottom half. Use cl_dd_document (documented in help.sap.com ) to build the header in the top half. Use events on CL_GUI_ALV_GRID to handle the top-of-list printing.
Or, if available, use CL_SALV_TABLE, and read the documentation on that. When I needed a header for my report, that's what I did. There's plenty of good documentation about if you'll search for it.
