Script inputs cleanup

how can i clean the files in the storage with the help of my shake scripts.
Need to just delete the unused inputs from the storage and keep the used inputs only

Hi Gautam,
I am using PS1 file. I copied the PS1 file at the same location on couple of servers and executed the script through command line rule- scom 2007 r2.
I have one query. I have developed a powershell script to check the high memory consumption processes and created a diagnostic task for the alert "Available Megabytes of Memory is too low". Therein, during the creation of a diagnostic
task, the target was by default set to Windows Server 2008 R2 Operating System. I tried to create the task by providing the below details:
Post providing the parameters, I tried to create it, but it was throwing some error about the target, so I changed the target to Windows 2008 r2 core operating system. After the creation, the script is not yielding any results. However, when I created the
command line rule with some interval, it was running fine, but that will not suffice the requirement.
Any suggestions on that.
Kind Regards.

  • Using array as a MATLAB script input in a subVI - labview crashes

    Hello
    I am having troubles in creating a subVI that includes a matlab file which has an array as an input.
    I have created a VI, that executes a simple matlab script, having an array as an input and an array as an output. This worked fine, untill i assigned the terminals in order to use it as a subVI.
    After the terminals have been assigned, labview instantly crashes when running the file.
    I also created a VI to test the subVI, but I couldn't get it to work at all, labview always crashed...
    Does anyone know a solution to my problem? They only thing i can think of is to not use it as a subVI, but then my main file will get huge, as all the matlab code would be included in there...
    attached are both files, so that you better understand my problem. (test_... is the main file)
    any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Hey Jarno,
    I did some playing around with this (sorry for the delay) and another workaround we can use is adding an Always Copy to the array before passing it into the Script Node. This will allow you to continue using Double precision arrays instead of going to Singles.
    It looks like there is an issue with the array copy that is passed into the SubVI through the terminal, but we can get around it by making a new copy that the Script Node can properly work with.

  • Script to cleanup the C drive

    Hi,
    I have SCOM 2007 R2 installed in our environment.  I need to cleanup the C drive space through powershell script. I have already prepared a powershell script. When we manually run the script through powershell, it clears the space from temp directory
    and other locations, which is futile. Now, my question is:
    Can I schedule the script through SCOM so that every time the alert for C drive appears, the script could run automatically and clear the space in C drive?

  • Matlab Script Inputs

    I'm trying to run the example file "MATLAB Script - Lorenz Diff Eq.vi" and get the following error. Any idea why?
    Error 1047 occurred at LabVIEW: LabVIEW failed to send variable to the script server.
    Server:"Inappropriate input array sizeE" in MATLAB Script - Lorenz Diff Eq.vi
    Possible reason(s):
    LabVIEW: LabVIEW failed to send variable to the script server.
    Also, when I run the example code from the help file in a separate vi:
    a=rand(50)
    surf(a)
    it works fine, but when I add inputs and outputs to the same script, the inputs and outputs work, but it never draws the surface 'a' or seems to update 'a'.
    Thanks for your help!

    Alejandro,
    Thanks for your help. When I run the sample code for the rand() and surf() functions, Matlab runs the code properly, opens a new figure to display it, updates dynamically and even outputs the variable 'a' back to Labview correctly.
    So, outputs seem to work fine, but I haven't been able to get any inputs to work. So that leads me to believe that the Matlab server is working (as it can crunch code and send back data), but perhaps it's not enabled to take an input or I'm trying to pass the input improperly.
    Is there any trick to send an input to Matlab? In other words, if I send a constant, for example, the number '2' to Matlab, I wire a constant '2' to the input on the Matlab VI block and then set the data type as 'Real', and I get the
    error.
    Does the error have to do with the array size (as it claims, even though I'm trying to pass in a single real constant, not an array...), or is it really a communication error as you suggest? Thanks for your help!

  • Close window script not working in safari?

    So I have a behavior from a DW extension that controls the

    have a clue why
    that might be? Here's the script:

    Can you post a

    fyi.. Massimos Control Window does work in Safari to close

    there's something else wrong. Could be that you do not have

  • Calling stored procedure from script on remote server

    We are migrating our database to a virtual server environment. On the current dedicated environment, the database and scripts(calling stored procedures) are on the same server. In the new envoirnment, the scripts, input and output files will be on a different server. Does anyone have any examples of scripts on one server calling stored procedures on another server. Don't laugh, but the db server is currently running Oracle 9i (part of the new enviornment to move to 11g).

    sorry my terminolgy is not correct. the stored procedure is in the database and the database is on server a. The script is on server b. In your example you show how to log onto the database. That I know. In your example your example, how would you point to server b so you can log onto the database?Do you want to mean that your procedure (location A) want to call a script from location B ?
    make the script located folder as shared and ,You may try this

  • Powershell script to get list of softwares installed as shown in registry on all the remote systems in a txt file

    Hi
    I need to know the command for getting list of softwares installed on all the remote systems in network  which are existing in their respective registry like HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE of all other systems

    Hey
    Sorry this isn't powershell but it should do the job if you want to use it. The problem with using the Win32_Product WMI Class to enumerate the installed software (especially on Windows 2000 & 2003 Servers) is that the WMI class is NOT installed by default. Here is a VBScript i wrote to read a list of hostnames from a text file named "ComputerNames.txt" from the scripts directory and attempt to remotely enumerate all subkeys within the following registry key
    HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
    For each subkey enumerated it will attempt to read the value of the "DisplayName" key and output the results to a csv file.
    (the results should be the same as what you would see when you open Add/Remove Programs)
    Hope that helps
    Cheers
    Matt :)

  • Checking input before sending request

    Hello JSP-fellows,
    I have an jsp-page with a number of input fields which I would like verify before I send the request.
    Is there any possibility that after pressing the submit button I go to
    a java script input check and if the check is not OK I do not send the request to the server?
    My submit button tag looks like this (the ordinare way):
    <td ><input type="submit" value="Submit" name="submitButton"></td>
    Can I, in some way, embed an onClick() script in the tag above and not execute the submition in case any input field is wrong?
    Perhaps there are some other better ways to do an input check in an jsp page before sending request?
    Thanks in advance for you help,
    Best regards
    Danny

    Not really a JSP issue, more general HTML.
    But, yes you can. You can, like you already wrote, embed an onclick in a submit button. A better approach, in my opinion, is to use the onsubmit function of the FORM tag:
    <FORM action="..." onsubmit="return validate();" >
    Let the validate function return false if the validation wasn't successfull, then the form will not be posted.

    I am having a similar issue, except that I need to save each layer as a .jpg, and the Export Layers to Files script is compressing the images in some fashion so that a previously seamlessly tiling layer now has a border that ruins the tile.  If I save each layer individually using either the Save As command or Save for Web and Devices with the proper settings (Maximum Quality, Progressive, and Baseline Standard), the resulting images don't acquire this border, so I feel pretty certain it is something in the script that is messing up (changing the compression of) the layers, but I honestly don't know what.  I have tried modifiying the jpeg portion of the script this way, hoping to prevent it from deviating from the usual Save As options:
            case jpegIndex:
                docRef.bitsPerChannel = BitsPerChannelType.EIGHT;
                var saveFile = new File(exportInfo.destination + "/" + fileNameBody + ".jpg");
                jpgSaveOptions = new JPEGSaveOptions();
                jpgSaveOptions.embedColorProfile = true;
                jpgSaveOptions.formatOptions = FormatOptions.STANDARDBASELINE;
                jpgSaveOptions.matte = MatteType.NONE;
                jpgSaveOptions.quality = jpegQuality; // 12
                docRef.saveAs(saveFile, jpgSaveOptions, true, Extension.LOWERCASE);
                break;
    but this doesn't seem to affect whatever setting is being changed.  Layers saved to .jpg this way still acquire the border.  I don't see what line might control whether the image is saved as progressive or not, nor anything to affect the text setting "Maximum" that I use when I successfully save each layer individually.
    I am a complete novice at scripting, so please excuse/explain the obvious mistakes I may be making here.
    I have since installed the script listener plug in and isolated a bit of script for saving the intended way, and hope to insert this snippet into the Export Layers as Files script, but I can tell that some of the lines are extraneous (like where it points to the file path I took), but I don't know what is safe to trim out.  I sincerely appreciate any assistance with this!

    Here is the script that uses scriptlistner to do the jpeg save. Note I changed the name by adding '_mod' to the end to remind you that it has been edited. You can remove the origianl version by moving the file to another folder outside the scripts folder or by adding ~ at the start of the filename.
    I recommend saving this as Export Layers to Files_mod.jsx. If this doesn't work for you we can try using the scriptlistener saveForWeb.

  • CS6 form validation script code does allow return to form o get missing entry and then sends

    When submitting a form with a missing entry the validation code missing info popup window works correctly. However when you click OK to return to the form to correct it, the form is sent and doesn't return to correct the information. Something is missing in the Script code. I am using CS6 and the form validation software.

    I am using the software that comes with CS6 for designing and validating a form. I am not using Spry. Following is the code and the script:
    <input name="submit" type="submit" onclick="MM_validateForm('first-name','','R');MM_validateForm('last-name','','R');MM_vali dateForm('company','','R');MM_validateForm('zip-code','','NisNum');MM_validateForm('phone- number','','RisNum');MM_validateForm('email-address','','RisEmail');return document.MM_returnValue"   value="Submit" />
    <script type="text/javascript">
    function MM_validateForm() { //v4.0
      if (document.getElementById){
        var i,p,q,nm,test,num,min,max,errors='',args=MM_validateForm.arguments;
        for (i=0; i<(args.length-2); i+=3) { test=args[i+2]; val=document.getElementById(args[i]);
          if (val) { nm=val.name; if ((val=val.value)!="") {
            if (test.indexOf('isEmail')!=-1) { p=val.indexOf('@');
              if (p<1 || p==(val.length-1)) errors+='- '+nm+' must contain an e-mail address.\n';
            } else if (test!='R') { num = parseFloat(val);
              if (isNaN(val)) errors+='- '+nm+' must contain a number.\n';
              if (test.indexOf('inRange') != -1) { p=test.indexOf(':');
                min=test.substring(8,p); max=test.substring(p+1);
                if (num<min || max<num) errors+='- '+nm+' must contain a number between '+min+' and '+max+'.\n';
          } } } else if (test.charAt(0) == 'R') errors += '- '+nm+' is required.\n'; }

        document.MM_returnValue = (errors == '');
    </script>

  • Powershell scripting

    Need some help for the following script. My goal is to copy files from c:\tem to d:\temp
    after vopy, I need powershell to verify all the files are copied over to d:\temp\subfolder  and then remove the folder of files on c:\temp11\subfolder.
     $source =c:\temp
    $destination =d:\temp
    $cutoff = (get-date).addHours(-1)
    Get-childitem $source | where-object {$_.LastWriteTime -lt $time} |
    ForEach-Object {copy-item $_$destination -Recurse -Force -PassThru -ErrorAction Silentlycontinue
    Get-ChildItem $source, -Recurse | %{
      if (Test-Path ($_. -replace "^$([regex]::escape($source))","$desttion")) {
        Remove-Item $_ -Recurse

A: Powershell scripting

Tim,
Welcome to Powershell. You'll need to do some reading before you can get some use out of Powershell.. See links at the bottom of my signature to start.
See this script:
# Input
$Source = "c:\temp"
$Destination = "d:\temp"
$Subfolder = "c:\temp\T2"
# Copy files from $Source to $Destination
Copy-Item -Path $Source -Destination $Destination -Recurse -Force -Confirm:$false
# Verify all the files are copied over
$Difference = Compare-Object -ReferenceObject (Get-ChildItem -Path $Source -Recurse).Name -DifferenceObject (Get-ChildItem -Path $Destination -Recurse).Name
if ($Difference) {
Write-Output "Copy failed with the following files:"
$Difference.InputObject
} else {
# Remove $Subfoler
Write-Output "Copy completed successfully, deleting $Subfolder"
