The scripting works fine with windows XP but on other computer in windows 8 or seven the script don't find the file. message : file not found.
I have update the sap gui 7.30 to package 10 but we had the same problem even if we execute SAP in administrator side.

  • LNScrpt with Windows 7?

    Hi.
I have been using LNScrpt (Cool Solutions: Login Tracking Scripts) with Windows XP for many years and it works very well. Recently, I tried it on Windows 7. I'm getting every field that I need except for the machine's IP address. I'm guessing it has to do with IPv4 and IPv6, but I'm not sure how to proceed. Can anyone help?
    Thanks,

  • Run diadem and Script automatically with windows

It would be possible to give an exe or something like that, with windows and after execute this, DIAdem automatically run and when Diadem opened, run my script also automatically??
    Thank you
    Sara

    Hi Sara,
You can absolutely run the DIAdem exe automatically from Windows, for example, as a startup executable, Windows Scheduled Task, or batch file.
Using DIAdem, if you want to automatically run a SCRIPT when the application opens, use the Start Script option under Settings » Options » General » Start Script.
If you want your users not to see DIAdem executing, there are a couple of approaches you could take, depending on your desired behavior and comfort with programming.  For example, you could:
Call DIAdem programmatically using ActiveX from another language like LabVIEW and choose to hide the environment when running, or
Have DIAdem SCRIPT run a SUD dialog that masks the DIAdem screen and reports a simpler version of information updates to your user, or
Use DIAdem's customization abilities to programmatically hide all Panels and Toolbars, or
Use your script to programmatically switch the screen mode in DIAdem (try pressing Ctrl+U interactively!) while your script is executing.
    Good luck!

    Hi,
You might be trying to edit the script in non original language. You can change the layout only in the original language.
Check the attributes of the script to see the original language.

  • Very slow download speeds with new laptop with windows seven- WRT160N Router

Just bought a new Laptop with windows 7 and  of course wireless.  Download speeds are horrible (0.2 mbs)  and upload speeds are normal for me ( 8mbs) Have a wrt160N  Wire less router.   Older laptop  and desktop work fine  with normal( around (8mbs) downloads and uploads.
    How do I fix this?

Do you have QOS enabled in your router? Did you try plugging the win7 laptop directly and check the speed?

As seen, windows is installed in the MBR of /dev/sdb and grub, using the chainloader should be able to boot it (i guess).
I have the following in my 40-custom.
    menuentry "Microsoft Windows Vista/7/8 BIOS-MBR" {
    insmod part_msdos
    insmod ntfs
    insmod search_fs_uuid
    insmod ntldr

    ntldr /bootmgr
where the first is  "--hint-bios= ..." is given by
    sudo grub-probe --target=hints_string -d /dev/sdb1
    and the UUID by
    sudo grub-probe --target=fs_uuid -d /dev/sdb1
When I try to boot the above configuration, I get an error saying that "ntldr cannot be found" - and indeed, while I find "ntldr.mod" in "/usr/lib/grub/i386-pc/" I cannot find it in "/usr/lib/grub/x86_64-efi/".
I've also tried getting refind to identify "bootmgr" from windows without success. I guess it does not support NTFS or something.
Anyway, do anyone have any idea of how to get this to work - without reinstalling Windows in EFI-mode?
    Thanks in advance,
    elt

As seen, windows is installed in the MBR of /dev/sdb and grub, using the chainloader should be able to boot it (i guess).
I have the following in my 40-custom.
    menuentry "Microsoft Windows Vista/7/8 BIOS-MBR" {
    insmod part_msdos
    insmod ntfs
    insmod search_fs_uuid
    insmod ntldr

    ntldr /bootmgr
where the first is  "--hint-bios= ..." is given by
    sudo grub-probe --target=hints_string -d /dev/sdb1
    and the UUID by
    sudo grub-probe --target=fs_uuid -d /dev/sdb1
When I try to boot the above configuration, I get an error saying that "ntldr cannot be found" - and indeed, while I find "ntldr.mod" in "/usr/lib/grub/i386-pc/" I cannot find it in "/usr/lib/grub/x86_64-efi/".
I've also tried getting refind to identify "bootmgr" from windows without success. I guess it does not support NTFS or something.
Anyway, do anyone have any idea of how to get this to work - without reinstalling Windows in EFI-mode?
    Thanks in advance,
    elt
UEFI GRUB(2) does not support booting BIOS boot loaders in non-Apple systems. For Apple Macs that support exists in form of 'appleloader' grub command. You might have better luck with rEFInd bios boot support but as per its author Rod Smith (srs5694) even that support is severely limited http://rodsbooks.com/refind/using.html#legacy .
You 40_custom is correct but that will work only in bios grub(2), not in uefi grub(2). 'ntldr' grub module is specific to bios grub(2).

  • Safari with Windows Media Player cannot use PHP as filename/src/url

I'm running Windows XP Pro SP2 with Windows Media Player 11
and Safari 3 public beta. In addition to being the absolute
slowest browser among MSIE, Firefox, Netscape, and Opera, the
Safari browser has two annoying WMP defects.
    1) Even with WMP 11 installed, the code below for embedding
can use either the classid for WMP v6.4 or v7+ but Safari
(or rather it's plugin) always displays a v6.4 looking UI.
All other browsers display the media player using the v11 UI
    2) Safari will not download the movie if the "filename" param
is a web url (e.g. getmovie.php?select=1234 ) rather than the
precise name of the movie file itself (e.g. "movie.wmv"). The
other browsers may differ in use of the param name="xxxx", where
xxxx is "filename" or "src" or "url" or "data" ... but Safari
will not work using any of these.
Has anyone successfully embedded a WMP object that uses the
URL as a PHP page (or other server-side script) ? I have already
my server-side PHP code that works perfectly for MSIE, Firefox,
Netscape, and opera. Safari is the only problem browser.

    <!--> <![endif]-->
    </object>

I have run into several issues pointing to what you are describing...
I fixed my Safari by installing the WMP plugin. I am able to view visualizations embedded into a webpage, one of which I created...I am able to view videos and so on.. Before I installed the plugin, All that would load is a place holder which looked like the old WMP and would not function properly. However this is what is displayed beside the media which is embedded.
I think that I got the plugin by going to the download page for Safari and looking for plugins. Funny thing was that the plugin that I installed was the one for Firefox on its site that nobody every installs because Firefox gets the plugin if you already have WMP11 installed. Anyway this should solve your problem...with most..
I have noticed just now that PHP served links or applications which launch in their own window and are protected by PHP script do work but still display a lack of functionality showing the Version 6.4 that you are speaking of. I checked it out using the KDGE Live Stream which opens another window, and displays version 11 properly ( in other browsers ), the link which is served is also protected and will close any media player that tries to play it on its own. It soley depends on the script which is coded into the page or window for the player. I can see this method as useful for a corporation as large and well advertised as ClearChannel Productions, because of the lack of bandwidth and cost to the company. Several sources do this and it winds up being an issue for the website administrator and designers to take care of, or update the script, or the person who has written the plugin, which could be from a number of resource; this particular instance would be the author of the WMP Plugin for Firefox.
For any other purpose though the plugin I mentioned above should get rid of ( MOST ) of that problem.

  • Better privecy does not work with windows vista home prem. what other program removes LSO'S AND HOW can I stop trackers?

    Question
better privacy does not work with windows vista home prem. what other program removes LSO'S AND HOW can I stop trackers? edit
    Details

As a temporary workaround, I believe this Adobe management page allows you to clear your "Flash cookies": [http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html Adobe - Flash Player : Settings Manager - Website Storage Settings panel] (hosted on macromedia.com -- Macromedia was the original developer of Flash).
Regarding the script error, if I'm reading the script correctly, it is related to accessing your Flash cookies directory. It seems the publisher's support forum is not currently available for searching, but that might be a good next step.
In the meantime, could you check whether the script has the correct location for your Flash cookies directory? If you can't access Tool > BetterPrivacy, you could check here:
    (1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
    (2) In the filter box, type or paste '''bpr''' and pause while the list is filtered
    (3) There should be a bolded setting named '''extensions.bprivacy.DataDir''' which looks approximately like the following:
    C:\Users\''yourWindowsUsername''\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia
Do you have a similar value? If you paste the path used by BetterPrivacy into a Windows Explorer window, does it open? Also, click a couple levels in the folder, can you see:
    Flash Player \ #SharedObjects
If the value is wrong, right-click the wrong value and choose Reset. BetterPrivacy should update the value the next time you try to access it.
If the value is blank, you could try inserting a sensible value and see whether that helps.
    Any luck?

  • Compatibility with Windows Mobile 5.0 ?

Does anyone know if Flex apps would work on PocketPCs, ie.
    using Windows Mobile 5.0?
    I haven't purchased one yet, so I can't test.
At this link, Adobe identifies Flash Player 7 for Pocket PC:
    http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer_pocketpc/
This page identifies FlashLite 2.1 which seems to be based on
    Flash Player 7
but includes Action Script 2.0 support:
    http://www.adobe.com/products/flashlite/
Does anyone know for sure? We'd like to do some monitoring
    & reporting
in Flex & make it available on the go for people, but
don't want to go buy the phones
until we know it is possible.

If so, then Flash is installed fine. Note, though, that Flash
    content will
only play when viewed in a browser (html file) or when
    embedded in an
application using ActiveX or similar. So if you are tryting
    to play a swf
    file, that won't work.

  • GP login script causes windows to crash

We have a script that runs on all computers that opens our intranet. This script crashed Windows build 9926 overtime. Is there any way to fix this. Also I can't install the new build because the HP printers update fails everytime.

    Hi,
How did you determined that it is the script caused this problem? If this problem caused by the script indeed, what't the function of this script?
For HP printer problem, it's probably a driver compatibility with new system problem, it would be better to contact HP support to confirm this issue.

  • Success with Arch, Fail with Windows

So I successfully partitioned Linux, and got everything working(internet, drivers, the whole shebang), as a dual boot with windows. However, now when I try to boot into Windows, it gives a /boot/bcd error, saying that I should use an installation disk to repair it. When I try the installation disk, it says that the disk is not compatible with this version of windows.
I know that I partitioned the HHD correctly, and here is the output of lsblk:
NAME   MAJ:MIN RM   SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT
    sda      8:0    0 931.5G  0 disk

Please help, I have a LOT of extremely important data on Windows, so please reply quickly and accurately. I don't mind if I have to delete Arch to get windows working again, windows is REALLY important, so please help me save it!
    Thank you for your help...

Ok, I'm really sorry that I didn't respond sooner, but I will run those tests, and please reply as quicky as possible!
I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate, dual booted with Arch Linux.
I used by BIOS to boot into the Arch Linux iso cd I created, and then installed it from there, and now I have Grub to boot into things.
    fdisk -l /dev/sda
    Disk /dev/sda: 931.5 GiB, 1000204886016 bytes, 1953525168 sectors
    Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
    Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
    I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
    Disklabel type: gpt
    Disk identifier: 0A569326-EF92-4480-AA6F-DA1BBB621D7B
    Device           Start          End   Size Type
    /dev/sda1         2048       206847   100M Microsoft basic data
    /dev/sda2       206848   1577846467 752.3G Microsoft basic data
    /dev/sda3   1577846784   1577848797  1007K BIOS boot partition

    /dev/sda6   1793855488   1898713087    50G Linux filesystem
I thought it would be safe because I already had successfully installed Bactrack 5 R3 into it's own seperate partition. I soon tired of seeing the script kiddy community, so I decided to go to Arch. So, I removed backtrack from the partition(Windows disk managment), so that it was about 179 Gb of free space. I then made sure that windows booted(it did), and then popped in my arch linux cd. I installed arch(no easy task, but this OS is definitely worth it), and then, for reassurance, booted into windows. When I tried(selected to boot from GRUB menu), I got the /boot/BCD error, and when I tried use the installation disk, and go into repair mode so that I can access the cmd(only half-way decent thing about windows, I think), it says that "this version of system installation disk is not compatible with your version of Windows". The problem with that, is that I tested it before I installed Arch, and it worked fine.
    Thanks again.
That a guid partition, not an mbr one.  But win7 should be able to boot from that, I think.  Grub has some sort of ability to boot windows with grub bootloader.  You're not using a 64-bit version of Windows installer on a 32-bit Windows?  You can boot from the 64-bit CD to override that.
