Scroll Bar functionality

Hi All,
I have a Multi Record Block with vertical scrollbar attached to my block and a horizontal scrollbar at the bottom attached to the window. However, the problem is when I have multiple records in the block and I want to scroll up or down using the vertical scrollbar it scrolls one record at a time I want to scroll down to the set of new records that are not displayed i.e like a page down. Is there any way this can be done and if so how?

Hi,
You can push the rectangular whish is located between the upper and lower side of the scrollbar and point it up or down as you desire!!!!!!
Otyherwise , if you press the lower or upper side of the scrollbar just one at each time then one - by - one record would appear !!!!

Dear All,
I have made a module pool program for gate pass. In which i have taken a TABLE CONTROL WITHOUT WIZARD. Now my problem is , the table control does not have the SCROLL BAR functionality. It is not showing the scroll bar also. So can any one of you can help with the code that i can use to bring that scroll bar.
Table control is without wizard.

In PBO module write the code as,
    data: fill TYPE i.
    DESCRIBE TABLE itab LINES fill.
flights-lines = fill.
   Flights is the table control name in screen and itab is the internal table name.

Custom Scroll Bar

Hi,
I want to implement a custom scroll bar which functions like the one in StartMenu->Programs option. Instead of a vertical scroll bar I want buttons at the top and botton of the frame and on mouse over of it I want to implement the vertical scroll bar functionality. Is there any way to do it in Java. Basically I have a panel where in I have added a JTree component. I want to implement these scroll bars in this panel.

Why would Apple change a fundemental part of the UI? Removing scroll bars and arrows from the UI is unacceptable in my view. I understand you can restore scroll bar functionality from system preferences but having the arrows on certain apps is very helpful. What possible reason or improvement could warrant this action?

I'm a Wacom tablet user for many yeras, an not planning to get a Magic Mouse ($60.89) or Magic Trackpad ($96.03).
Why? Till 10.6.8 it work fine. It looks to me that Apple wants te sell more of there Mouse and Trackpads.
Just bring back traditional scroll bars and arrows as a option.
Apple starting to look like Microsoft. "We know what's best for you".
Just give the OSX users a option. I'll wait for a OSX update or for some one how writes a nice small utility to bring theme back. He/She will be a hero.

I'm using Labview 8.0 an I have a small expirence with Labview
I got 5 Waveformcharts with different ranges, is it possible to link the zoom an scroll bar function, so that i could zoom in one graph an the other will change dynamicly like in Diadem "dynamic Zoom" and is it
possible to control the visible area of the 5 charts with one scroll bar?

Hello Densel,
I searched for an easy implementation with the help of a property node, what I found is attached in my VI. It is just a solution to change the axes properties of x and y for one chart, but it should also works with more charts.

ITune side scroll bars won't scroll when up or down arrow held

This is a problem, only in iTunes. My side scroll bars stopped working. When I push arrow up or down, they barely budge. I have to manually slide the bar.
I want my scroll bar function back. Thanks for your help.

Scroll Bar with achor-type functionality

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has any reference to a horizontal
scroll bar that scrolls a MovieClip and its functionality includes
the ability to jump to a specific y position of the movieClip
inside of the ScrollBar MovieClip and of course the scroll bar
would move to its correct coordinates. For example, I need the
MovieClip to go 333 pixels down (this is pretty easy) and then tell
the scroll bar to go to its corresponding location. Anyone have a
good example of this that is pretty dynamic?
I have an example of this which is close to working, but I
would like to know if there is a better more dynamic way of doing
it.

Continuing this conversation with myself, I opted to use the
ScrollPane component and use the vPosition property. We had to use
all the event listeners before it worked,
my_sp.addEventListener("complete", listener);
my_sp.addEventListener("progress", listener);
my_sp.addEventListener("scroll", listener);
This worked well and I could feed the vposition and wind up
where I needed to go in the scroll pane.
So now I am having a problem with skinning the scroll pane. I
can skin it just fine. But seeing as my scroll bar, the scroller in
the middle of the scroll pane that you drag to get to the location
you want to go is different in size from the original (aka scroll
thumb). It does not adjust its size so it believes it has something
like 56 more pixels in either direction.
What happens is the scroll thumb will start 56 pixels below
where it should and it stops about 56 pixels before it should stop.
So, your content finishes scrolling and your scroll thumb does not
finish its entire scroll - it is hanging 56 pixels above where it
should. You drag it back to the top, the content that is being
scrolled is back at it original position where it should be while
the scroll thumb is hanging about 56 pixels below where it should
ultimately be.
Is there a way to adjust the size of the middle scroller
– what in the skins is called the scroll thumb? I need it at
a constant size. I can re-skin it so it looks like it should but it
does not function as it should.
Any suggestions?

Scroll bar has lost zoom function

I'm using LP 9.1.7
Since I upgraded to Mountain Lion, my scroll bar zoom function has vanished.
It's there in Waveburner.
I can't find any preferences that can help me.
Any help greatly appreciated -- I use tyhis function all the time and I'm lost without it!

Really simple question, stop function and scroll bar won't work

I was working on different parts of this VI separately, when I put them together the scroll bar and stop button stopped working.
In the individual VI both are in the while loop. In the final one I was one scroll bar and one stop button to apply to all 5 while loops.
I tried taking the scroll bar in and out of the first loop to attach it to the rest but it still won't work.
I'm sure that there is a really stupid simple answer but I've been playing with it for a while.
I attached the VI that I am working on as well at fake data (to test the color boxes).

You have a typical beginner problem due to incorrect understanding of dataflow. Run the code using execution highlighting and watch the diagram to see.
Your stop button is outside any loop and thus will only be read by the code exactly once at the start of the program.
Your scroll bar is read in the first loop. All other loops cannot start until the first loop has completed and since (1) is true, it will never happen if the boolean is false when the code starts.
Why do you have so much duplicate code? 95% of the loop code is the same and can be re-used. I am sure the entire thing could be written using 5% of the total code. Put everything in one loop, the iterate over the 2D array to get all the values. Don't forget to place a small wait inside the while loop.

Missing (Functional) Vertical Scroll Bars In IE 11.0 After Upgrade

We are in the process of upgrading our SharePoint 2010 Farm to SharePoint 2013. We have begun our database-attach upgrade and have not yet converted the "look and feel". (The SharePoint 2013 farm has the latest patches and fixes)
The sites have no customizations or custom code. Under SharePoint 2010 farm the sites render correctly in Internet Explorer 11.0, Chrome, etc. The migrated sites do not show the vertical scroll bars in Internet Explorer 11.0, but show correctly
in Chrome (Version 39.0). Both the original farm and new farm are using the default unmodified v4.master page.
I have tried searching in the forums for an answer and on the internet and I see references to .css and .js settings. I don't know if that is the issue.
Oh and we have tried the compatibility settings but they did not make any difference.
Any thoughts?

Please reset IIS and check if there is any application pool is not start in IIS.
Would you please capture the screenshot about missing Vertical Scroll Bars and let me know the URL address.
Also, please collect ULS log for further research:
Collect the ULS log:
•Enable Verbose logging via Central Admin> Monitoring> Reporting>Configure diagnostic logging(You can simply set all the categories with Verbose level and I can filter myself).
•Reproduce the issue for three times.
•Record the time and get a capture of the error message(including the correlation ID if there is). Collect the log file which is by default located in the folder: <C:\Program files\common files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\15\LOGS>. Compress
them to a zip file and send it to me via workspace
•Stop verbose logging.

In FF 4.0 why does the down arrow no longer function in the vertical scroll bar?

Prior to FF 4.0 when I positioned my cursor over the down arrow of the vertical scroll bar in Hotmail and depressed the left mouse button, the scroll bar moved downward toward the bottom of it's column limit. Now in 4.0 it turns into an adjustment cursor forcing me to readjust the size of the Hotmail window rather than moving the scroll bar down the column. This only seems to happen in Hotmail.

Ok. I'm stumped. The right side scroll bar on my pages documents disappears sometimes. I don't know how to restore that function. If I widen the page field, it will appear for a short time. Very annoying if I am just using trackpad. What to do?

I've tried closing and reopening and restarting my macbook pro. If I widen the right side, I get the scroll bar for just a few seconds and then if fades away. I can't find anything it the help menus that fits it.

The scroll bar is consistent with the Full Screen approach in trying to maximize the working area of your screen. The scroll bar fades to make room for data. So, use your 2-fingered scroll or arrow keys for short moves. If you have a long way to scroll, the scroll bar will activate any time you scroll with the trackpad or the arrow keys and you can grab it and pull it to your desired position in the document.

The textfields should have the same number of lines. You can have the scrollbar (sb) assigned to one textfield (t1) and then have an event listener/handler for the scrollbar adjust the other textfield's (t2) scrollV property to match the first one's scrollV property:

ALV top-of-page remove scroll bar

In my ALV i have a header with some information and a logo. With the logo it creates a vertical scroll bar. I can't reduce the size of the logo because it as to be that size.
So...i've been searching for some way to remove the scroll bar from the header, butt i didn't found anything that could help me.
I'm using 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY' with i_callback_top_of_page   = 'TOP-OF-PAGE'. And in form top-of-page i use
CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE'
    EXPORTING
      it_list_commentary = t_header
      i_logo             = 'LOGO'.
to call the logo.
Is there a way to remove or set the header to a fix size?
