SCXI-1166 SPDT GP Relay, how to program in NISE and Teststand

Hi,
I have a SPDT GP relay and I wanted to know how the routes should be created.  For example, in NISE when you create a route you have two endpoints.  Endpoint1= Comx but what should Endpoint2=?.  Should it be:
Endpoint2=ncx  or
Endpoint2=nox
Lets say the route name is called "MyRoute".  If I chose my Endpoint2 to be "nox" then when I go into Teststand and use the "Switching tab" under Properties and say Connect "MyRoute" then the connection should be between "Comx->nox".  Now when I say Disconnect "MyRoute" will this cause the connection to be "Comx->ncx"?
Thanks for your help in advance.

Guy,
NISE communicates with switch devices through an IviSwtch-compliant drivers, based on the IviSwtch class specification.
This specification does not prescribe the behavior for form C relays - the only way to ensure that the normally-closed position is connected is to create two routes and call connect on the other one after calling disconnect on the first one. Complicated, but that's the only way to ensure the behavior across switches that may behave in different ways.

    You'll need a 3rd party app for custom gestures.
    Take a look at MagicPrefs to see if it does what you need.

    You can ise a dialog inside the popup and use a dialogListener to check how hte dialog has been closed
    public void handleDialog(DialogEvent event)
      if (event.getOutcome().equals(DialogEvent.Outcome.no))
        setGender(getOldGender());
        // reference to the gender component is from component binding
        // see selectOneRadio above - binding="#{sharedPopup.genderComponent}
        RequestContext.getCurrentInstance().addPartialTarget(getGenderComponent());

  • I Have an SCXI-110 & SCXI-1126 in multiplexed mode, how can I scan both and get accurate readings?

    In Lbaview if I just scan either the SCXI-1100 or the SCXI-1126 the reading are accurate, but scanning both causes inaccurate reading on the SCXI-1126. Is this hardware not meant to be used toghter?

    All of the SCXI modules can be used in the same chassis with no problems. There's not enough information here to give you any specific advice, but check you can:
    1) Put your DAQ card (the one controlling the chassis) in differential mode.
    2) Check your signal connections for proper referencing of you signal sources.
    3) Try connecting the channel before the 'inaccurate' signal to ground and include it in the scan list. If it cleans up, then the output impedance of that source is is probably too high; slow down the channel clock rate.

  • How to program the LPC2368 and LPC2468 using microprocessor SDK?

    Hi
    where to start? I have not found on the site of corresponding materials.
    thanks for the help
    Solved!

    Hi Sergiv,
    I would suggest taking a look at the following document: LabVIEW Embedded for ARM Porting Guide - Chapter 1: Introduction.  It is a generic document that will explain the process of porting to any microprocessor.
    If you have LabVIEW Embedded for ARM module, I would suggest that you take a look at one of the shipping templates.  There is a template already build for the LPC2468 that you should use.  And if you don't have the module you should download the evaluation version to get the template and save yourself a bunch of time.
    I hope this helps.

    When sending an email from my Ipad. I get "receipient was rejected by server because it does not allow relaying". What does this mean and how do I correct it?

    On the email account's settings (Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and tapping on the account on the right), go into it's outgoing SMTP settings and try putting in your email name and password (they might currently show as 'optional')

    How to program a midi foot controller on Mainstage? Does anyone knows how to program the foot controller with exclusive solo channel in order not to dance "tip tap" while from clean guitar I go to crunch or solo? How to do this programming on Mainstage?
    I basically managed to learn how to invert parameters which allows me to be as default in the clean guitar channel and if I switch the first button on the midi foot controller I switch to crunch, but at this point I tryied so hard to programm the second and third button to switch, only through a button in one step, to a third channel for distorsion or a 4th channel for solo guitar but I couldn't figured out how this work can be done!
    I would appreciate if anyone could help or share this experience with others who are experiencing the same problem.
    Cheers.

    To add to sig's reply, "calibrating" does not calibrate Lithiu-Ion batteries, it calibrates the charge reporting circuitry.  If you look at the effect of deep discharging Lithium-Ion batteries in the data from the independent test group, Battery University, you will see that doing so shortens the life of the battery significantly. It looks like an optimum balance between use and life is at a discharge level of 50%.

  • How to program mails to be sent in future date

    hi
    i would like to knwo how to program my mails to be sent in a future date.
    in the mail application and Outlook for Mac.
    (outlook for windows allows me to program de date a mail may be sent)
    best regards

    You can use the Automator app to set an alarm on your calendar which sends the mail at a future time.
    It's simpler than it might sound.  This explains how:

  • I want to send 10 bit ADC from PIC via serial communicaton. i send it separetly 8 bit first then the other 2 bit. how to program in labview to capture those two packet then combine it togother

    i want to send 10 bit ADC from PIC mCu via serial communicaton.
     i send it separetly 8 bit first then the other 2 bit (2 bit --> with zero at 6 bit from LSB).
    how to program in labview to capture those two packet and then combine it together
    so i have 10 bit in lab view
    thank you

    Close, but now quite. You need to specify to the VISA Read how many bytes to read, not how many bits. Thus, the input would be 2, not 16. It's also not clear why you're trying to use the "String to Byte Array". The Type Cast will give you a number based on what data type you wired. You're basically telling it how to interpret the string. In this case we're telling it to interpret the string a 16-bit value, so we'll get a 16-bit integer. I know you said you wanted a 10-bit, but you can't have that. You'll get a 16-bit with 6 bits set to zero. Note: I did not completely understand what you said so we may need to change this slightly, but we want to get the communication and reading collection working first.
    Also, since you seem to be setting this in a loop you probably want to monitor this or to collect the data. For that you need a shift register. See attached for a modified version of your attempt. You need to set the datatype to I16 or U16 based on whether the value you get from the PIC is signed or unsigned.

  • Modify the TicTacToeServer /client from deitel How to program

    We've been given example code from the deitel & deitel book how to program and have to carry out the following alterations:
    a) Modify the TicTacToeServer class to test for a win, loss or draw on each move in the game. Send a message to each client applet that indicates the result of the game when the game is over.
    b) Modify the TicTacToeClient class to display a button that when clicked allows the client to play another game. The button should be enabled only when a game completes. Note that both class TicTacToeClient and class TicTacToeServer must be modified to reset the board and all state information. Also, the other TicTacToeClient should be notified that a new game is about to begin so its board and state can be reset.
    c) Modify the TicTacToeClient class to provide a button that allows a client to terminate the program at any time. When the user clicks the button, the server and the other client should be notified. The server should then wait for a connection from another client so a new game can begin.
    d) Modify the TicTacToeClient class and the TicTacToeServer class so the winner of a game can choose game piece X or O for the next game. Remember: X always goes first.
    So far I have only been able to do part a) of the exercise im having a lot of difficulty with part b) which allows the client to play a new game.The code ive done so far is listed below if anyone can help i would be forever greatful. Thanks
