Search based on data

Hi
Does BerkeleyDB support a search based on the data stored along with a key.
I know that it supports a search based on both key and data.

The functionality you are requesting is provided by secondaries.

Jai,
You could anytime do an enhancement to read the relationships for a BP whenever an incoming call is there. I think you could also make it specific to only incoming call as well.
I am not sure if there is some customizing to navigate directly to relationship form the BP data.

How to process data in the past based from data in the present

hello guys,
i have a problem in my labview programs. how to process data in the past based from data in the present ?
i have a formula self-organizing maps
this formula is looking for D1, D1 is neuron index that will be searched for the smallest value.and the result are D1=2 ,D2=5, D3=17 from calculating with formula .it means the smallest value is 2, "2" from weight [2 2] in file attached.
and then it will be in other formula
it mean [2 2] + 0.5 ( [1 1]-[2 2] ) = [1.5 1.5]
and the weight will be [1.5 2 2 ] in matrix
1.5 3 5
I would appreciate any input/help on solving this

Moving your records from internal table into the database table depends upon various scenarios :-
1. If you use INSERT statement.
INSERT <database_table> FROM TABLE <internal_table>.
But in this case, you need to make sure that you don't have any duplicate entries in your internal table that violates data entry into database table, else you will get a dump.
INSERT <database_table> FROM TABLE <internal_table> ACCEPTING DUPLICATE KEYS.
In this case, you are forcefully inserting duplicate records into your database table which may lead to data redundancy in your database table.
2. If you use UPDATE statement.
UPDATE <database_table> FROM TABLE <internal_table>.
This will update the existing records in your database table from the internal table.
3. If you use MODIFY statement.
MODIFY <database_table> FROM TABLE <internal_table>.
This statement works both in combination of INSERT & UPDATE statements.
Existing records (in database table) will be eventually updated/modified and new records (not in database table currently) will be successfully inserted into the database table.

Searching based on the content of an uploaded document

Is it possible to search based on the content of the document I have uploaded. The system used is ECC 5.0.
Eg : I have uploaded resumes of employees and I have search based on their skills. Is it possible to search based on the skill which is mentioned in the resumes and provide the output.

I can't do that without knowing the structure of your document, it all depends on wether the data you need is in a fixed position in a fixed line or it's in a variable position and the correct line or position needs to be found before using it.

Deletion based on data.

Formatted search based on screen entry

Hi,
I need help to create a formatted search based on a field that the user entered on the screen. For example, I want a formatted search on the Purchase Order screen where the item search will only show the items where the vendor entered in the Default Vendor field of the master record is the same as the vendor specified in the Vendor field of the purchase order. Please advise on the correct sql statement.

I am trying to duplicate the query for the following scenario.
I have a user defined field U_Freight in the Business Partner Master Data (OCRD) and also in the sales order screen. I want to create a formatted search for the freight field in the sales order to automatically find the freight from the business partner master data screen based on the customer entered in the sales order.
I have tried the following as a formatted search on the sales order screen, but it does NOT work.
SELECT T0.U_FREIGHT FROM [dbo].[OCRD] T0
WHERE T0.CardCode = $[$4.0.0]

I have created a search page based on VO which contains creation Date field. Creation Date field stores date with time into database.
af:query is created on this VO. Suppose I have created 10 records today and want to query that by providing today's date(6/21/2011) in CreationDate field. On click of search, it does not return any record.
Since records in database are timestamp based, it does not return any record.
How to achieve this functionality where user can search by specific date?

Process Chain - How to make decision based on data in PSA and execute DTP

Need to create process in Process Chain, which will execute the DTP based on data in PSA.
Say we have two DSO A & B, both getting data from same datasource.
In process chain, we need to read data in one of the date field in PSA and make a decision, which DTP to get execute in process chain.
Say if date field contains year = 2000, than load to DSO A, if year is 2001, load data to DSO B.

Trigger events based on year
event1 -> for even year data
event2 -> for add year data
2) Develop local process chains for each DTPs and schdule it with events mentioned above.

Batch Determination based on date of consig recieve

I am getting problem when i am trying to do manual batch determination in the outbound delivery.
I have created a record in VCH1 based on customer/Material/Plant. In this i have maintained a sort rule also. what characteristaics i must use to make my batch determination based on customer consignment recieving date?
If i go in MSC3n with Material, Plant and batch data then in the screen ( table MCHA, MCH1) onlt data available is for ERSDA, LAEDA and LWEDT.
In delivery when i click on batch determination button. my Sort rule is not automatically determined. So i have to maunally entered my soirt rule but at the same time my qty proposal in the same screen is 1 which is nothing but

When i am taking characteristics LOBM_VFDAT for sort rule in Cu70 then i am not getting batch determination as i required even if i maintained Shelf expiry date in MSC3n.
Please suggest where i must look into so that my batch determination would be based on date of consignment recieved.. currently if it s taking based on max qty available in MMBE.

How to schedule the webi report based on data changes in the report data

Hello,
I want to schedule a webi report based on data change in a column in the report.
The scenario is something like below:
1. If a data of a particular column changes from 2 to 3 than I would like to schedule this report and sent it to users mail box.
I know how to apply alerts or schedule a report or data tracking for capturing changes in the report but I dont know how to schedule the report only for data changes.
Anybody done this before.

What I would like to do is as follows:
I have a fantasy hockey league website. For each team I have
a team page (clubhouse) which is generated using PHP/MySQL. The one
area I would like to clean up is the displaying of the divisional
standings on the right side. As of right now, I use a URL variable
(division = id2) to grab the needed data, which works ok. What I
want to do is clean up the url abit.
So far the url is
clubhouse.php?team=Wings&id=DET&id2=Pacific, in the end all
I want is clubhouse.php?team=Wings.
I have a separate table, that has the teams entire
information (full team name, short team, abbreviation, conference,
division, etc. so I was thinking if I could somehow do this:
Recordset Team Info is filtered using URL variable team
(short team). Based on what team equals, it would then insert this
variable into the Divisional Standings recordset.
So example: If I type in clubhouse.php?team=Wings, the Team
Info recordset would bring up the Pacific division. Then 'Pacific'
would be inserted into the Divisional Standings recordset to
display the Pacific Division Standings.
Basically I want this
SELECT *
FROM standings
WHERE division = <teaminfo.division>
ORDER BY pts DESC
Could someone help me, thank you.

Assuming two tables- teamtable and standings:
teamtable - which has entire info about the team and has a
field called
"div" which has the division name say "pacific" and you want
to use this
name to get corresponding details from the other table.
standings - which has a field called "division" which you
want to use to
give the standings
SELECT * FROM standings AS st, teamtable AS t
WHERE st.division = t.div
ORDER BY pts DESC
Instead of * you could be specific on what fields you want to
select ..
something like
SELECT st.id AS id, st.position AS position, st.teamname AS
team

"Searching for movie data in file [filename]" and iDVD hangs.

I have a project I saved and I want to open and make a change to. iDVD loads the project and displays the title. When I click to edit one of the scene selection menus, it goes off "searching for movie data" and hangs until I kill it.
Anyone have any ideas how to fix this? I really don't want to have to re-do my project.

This frequently helps solve some problems. Quit iDVD. Search for the file named com.apple.iDVD.plist and trash it. (A new one will be created next launch of iDVD.) Or look in: User/Library/Preferences. This may solve project loading errors too. Restart and use Disk Utility to Repair Permissions.
You'll need to reset some Preferences.
