Search tutorial for HTML code

Hi everybody,
I need help with a project of mine.
I want to be able to search through text in orer to find specific data and store that. Basically what I'm trying to do have a text like the following and store certain fields.
For example, the values for population and generals.

Why does the topic say "html" while the question doesn't mention html? You can use regular expressions if the text is plain text, and not html.

I use the RH_ShowHelp API command to connect a HTML Help file
(.chm file generated by RoboHelp Word X 5) to my Visual C++
application. My application is able to call up this HTML help file
in context-sensitive mode and everything is working great in the
Contents and Index panels EXCEPT when I click on List Topics (after
I enter a KEYWORD for search) in the Search panel.
I got an error that said “Unhandled exception in
xxxx.exe.(HHCTRL.OCX):0xC00000FD: Stack overflow”
I am able to execute this .chm file by itself and the search
function works well in this case. I am using HHActiveX.dll that is
created on 2/23/04. Is this the correct version?? Any advice what
to do here??

Hi agschin and welcome to the RH forums. The hhactivex.dll
file is not used by the search function so you can rule that our.
Have you tried recompiling and seeing if the problem still happens?
You can also start the Bug Hunter feature in RH - View > Output
View and then select the Bug Hunter button - and see if that throws
up any clues.

Search help for material code in VA01

Dear Experts,
In VA01 tcode in item level if user press f4 in the material code then we will get all the f4 helps for few fields.Now i need to add one more field mtart from mara table in the existing search help of material code.
plz suggest me how can i proceed.

How to build search help for company code (BUK) in SRM

Hello,
I am new to SRM and was wondering if any have come across similar requirement. I am a workflow developer and we are building a custom table to derive deadline escalation timelines. We are also adding a field in our custom table for company code so that we can have company specific deadlines. table T001 is empty in SRM and hence we are unable to use F4 (search help). Is there existing functionality in SRM that gets this search from the backend ECC system and displays when F4 is pressed. How can I use that functinoality?
Appreciate any info folks.

How can I make a SH for company code from backend system? I already made a SH for account assigments from backend with USAGE_SH_F4 functioanality, but i don't know whether I can use it for Company code or not? And how?

I need functionality where I will manually maintain backend system, and then I need bind search help for this backend system with my input field for web dynpro. Search Time Machine For HTML Code

I need to find when an email address was changed in the code of an HTML file I've been working on the last couple of days. The Time Machine preview pane will render the browser view of the html and I can see the changes over time, but I can't see the embedded code for the email address. Since the preview changes, my hunch is the code is available somehow unless TM is taking a billion little jpgs at every backup.
Any way I can get the preview to view html instead of rendering it?

Great attempt at a solution, however, so far, a dead end. I've been using Time Machine for years but have only needed to fetch a file "from the past" a handful of times, so I may be missing something on how to use it.
I changed the .html files associated application to TextEdit universally. Even restarted the machine for good measure and headed back into the past. The info pane sees TextEdit as the associated app, but the preview sheet still reneders the browser version. I see the "Open with TextEdit" button at the top of the preview pane which is enabled, but no function fires when I press it. I also tried associated all files with SkEdit just for kicks, same response.
OH, SOLVED!
I didn't know you could open the bundle directory and drill down to the file. Years ago when that was called a sparsebundle you couldn't get into it so I've been assuming that was still true. I was using the Star Wars Time Machine UI to retrieve which is why the limited functionality. Ok all is well, thanks.

Is there a way for html code to be automatically loaded in a html document?

I am using DreamWeaver (CS5.5) what I am looking for is two (2) things:
Most webpages are consistently formatted, Header, Navigation, content and footer. Typically the Header, Navigation and footer are identical from page to page in the website, be it two (2) paages or 2,000 pages.
It would be nice if there were an HTML tag or a JavaScript procedure that would allow the designer to create a series of html pages that only contained one of the page elements, header, navigation or footer and after testing be able to import this code into a page that is under development like you can a snippet.
I know that I could create the code and test it then copy and paste it into each of the new pages being created.
What would be ideal is html tag like the link tag that would automatically import the tested code into the new page, like is done with css, so that the designer and/or the coder only has to create and test this code once.
obvisouly integeration testing would have to be performed.

To add to Preran's response, you could also consider using php includes. Look here for an example: http://www.tizag.com/phpT/include.php
The only change is your file extension from .html to .php. You can then let your server handle the parsing of PHP. Note that in order for PHP to work on your local (development) system, you need WAMP (Windows) or MAMP (Mac).

Search Help for transaction code KE53

Hi Experts,
I want to add one more elementary search help in already existing search help PRCT for tcode KE53.
This is a collective search help. I am trying to create an elem. searh help which includes 3 input fields
Profit Center (PRCTR), Text desc. of Profit Center (LTEXT), and Company Code (BUKRS). But the problem is PRCTR & BUKRS are in table CEPC_BUKRS and PRCTR & LTEXT in table CEPC. Then how do i club the 3 in a single elem help. Do i have to use Search Help Exit. I have created a FM in which i have written a select query as follows:
SELECT APRCTR ALTEXT B~BUKRS
       FROM CEPCT AS A
       INNER JOIN CEPC_BUKRS AS B
       ON APRCTR = BPRCTR
       INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE ITAB.
ITAB is the table in FM. The FM also includes the changing parameters :SHLP & CALLCONTROL and tables SHLP_TAB & RECORD_TAB (but i dont know the use of the parameters). How do i proceed.
I dont have any idea about search help exits. Also there is no table which includes PRCTR, BUKRS and LTEXT.

Hi,
No need to write a search help exit. You can instead give a database view in the selection method. This database view can be a join on the tables CEPC and CEPC_BUKRS.
Refer to the search help PRCTN which uses a database view as the selection method.

How to search object for T-Code?

Hi,
Is object is some short of table name in which data get store for standard transaction .
I have some transaction of SD for which we have to define object link in DMS
va01,vl01n,vf01. could you please let me know the object for these t codes if possible.

Yes Object is some sort of table name in DMS.
Like to link WBS PRPS is object , for Asset Master AENR , for Purchase Order Item EKPO for Sale document item VBAP etc..
you can find the same in DC10 Transaction " Define object links" or Maintain object link descriptions.
If it is not available in standard then you have to go for small abap enhancement to create that object link.

Not sure what you expect. Your URL is absolute and pointing to a local file resource. It's not a proper relative HTML link. Beyond that it's toatlly unclear how you actually plan to load your image and where they are hosted, so nobody can tell you anything. Either way, there is an obviously painful lack of understanding of even the most basic web techniques, so the best advise anyone would give you is to spend some time with a web search and actualyl learn some of that stuff...
