Select-options - select multiple values from personal value list

Hi experts,
In my application, I am using select-options. I select the values required from the search help into the personal value list . I want to copy these values from the personal value list into my ranges table. Do I have to copy them one row at a time. Is there any way to select the values directly into the ranges table of the select-options field?

I have a Category with an Attribute defined as an enumerated list. Is it possible to select more than one value from the enumerated list? If not, does anyone have a recommended approach for configuring Categories or Attributes that often have more than one of the Attribute values selected? Do I just use multiple Categories and/or Attributes with the same enumerated list? If so, is there an efficient way (API, maybe) to copy the enumerated list values from one Attribute to a new one (or one Category to another)?

Requirement to maintain select-options for multiple fileds in webdynpro aba

Hello Gurus,
We have a requirement to maintain select-options for multiple fileds in webdynpro abap.
now we are able to create select-options for a single field using wdr_select_options componet usage.
how can we achive this select-options feature for multiple fields.
Could anyone please suggest solutions?
and if possible send me the sample code for this requirement.

How do I select multiple addresses from the contacts list at one time to send an email. Each time I select one, the address book closes and I have to touch the "+" key to open it back to select another address. Is there a way to select all of them at one time instead of making a group? Thanks.

Yes, once you select a person from your Contacts app, you either need to select more from the '+' button or you can tap in the 'to:' field and type in the first few letters of a contact and select from the list. Kinda bummer but gotta make do.

Replacing Null Values From existing values in table.

(no PK/FK)
I want to inset the missing values (null values) of columns B & C by taking values from filled values from same table on base of Col_A.
Examples
Col_A || Col_B || Col_C
Item_1 || Red || 2Kg
Item_2 || Blue || 1.5 Kg
Item_1 || Null || Null
I want to inset values in the Null value fields of Row3 (Col_B & CoL_C) from Row1 as Col_A is same at both rows.

Where is this example spreadsheet? Without seeing it I can only guess at what you are asking.
To make a drop-down list (a pop-up menu in Numbers-speak), format the cell as a pop-up then edit and add to the list of items.
If the example spreadsheet is pulling in a dollar value based on what car you chose in the pop-up, it is probably using LOOKUP or one of the other lookup functions, getting the information from another table (a lookup table). If, instead, these dollar values are what you are choosing in the pop-up, then you need to create a pop-up with these values in it.
The Help menu includes a link to a page where you can download the Numbers Users Manual. It also has a link to the Formulas and Functions guide. Both are useful to new users.

FROM MY CUSTOM PROGRAM I AM CALLING A TRANSACTION CODE. IN MY REPORT I WANT TO SELECT MORE THAN ONE RECORD AND TO CALL THE TRANSACTION BY PASSING THE SELECTED VALUES TO THE SELECT-OPTIONS OF THE TRANSACTION.

Call the Report directly using:
(First declare the Ranges)
ranges : R_matnr for mara-matnr.
(Fill the values into Ranges Table and call the report )
SUBMIT <REPORT>
With s_matnr in R_matnr.

Select options for multiple entries

in selection screen i have 2 select-options as below
SELECT-OPTIONS: s_belnr FOR bkpf-belnr ,
                              s_bukrs FOR bkpf-bukrs.
the problem is if BELNR or BUKRS are not given the error message should be displayed as enter the required fields.
if i keep the OBLIGATORY i will get the message but if i keep OBLIGATORY first they need to enter one belnr or bukrs in selection screen then it allows for multiple option but the bussiness want to directly goto multiple option and upload data.
please help

Urgent Help. I have to make a select-option in my selection screen for date to use the field wadat from likp. Now the after the following code what should I be doing:

Select Options in multiple views

I am running into a problem. I have an application with 2 views. I use select-options in both views, but with different fields. When I move from view 1 to view 2, it works correctly, displaying the select-options for view 2. When I return to view 1 however, the container still shows the select-options for view 2. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alex, please explain what you mean by 'clear the nodes'. All the setup for the select-options is currently done in the WDDOINIT in both views.
Sarath, could you please explain what you mean by 'changing the lifetime'. I've never heard this term. Where would this be done.
I copied the select-options code I had in my WDDOINIT into my HANDLEIN screen, and it dumps on the first 'ADD_SELECTION_FIELD' method call. If I add a
l_ref_comp_usage_so->delete_component( ).
before my
l_ref_comp_usage_so->create_component( ).
the selection screen comes up blank.

BEX F4 help values from posted values in Info Provider not from Master data

We have an info object called Archival purpose and it is display attribute of Master data info object Archive Number. Both Info objects are used in a cube. Posted values in cube have only two value for info object Archival purose which is "EXCOM" and "EA".
But when we do the F4 in the bex query, we see some other F4 values. Although Master data is having other entries but we have defined in the bex property of both the info object to read the f4 value from the posted values in the info provioder.
Please suggest how to get values in bex F4 help only from posted values in info provider and not from the master data.

Hi,
You don't need to change the Infoobject definition as it will become global and it will be applicable for whereever this infoobject is used. Instead you can manage this setting for this particular Infoprovider.
Go to RSA1 and double click on your infoprovider used for this query, go to change mode. From the right hand side dimension tree search for the Infoobject for which you want to maintain this property. If it is navigation attribute then you can search it in navigation attribute tree.
Once you find the infoobject right click and from context menu choose the first option "InfoObject specific properties". In the next popup in the last option about F4 values for filter you can select the option, "Only values from Infoprovider".
