Selectinv and displaying

Question

i posted a similar thread the other day about inserting into a db
but today im having trouble selecting from one with a dynamic query
i have this SQL statement in my java file
  public static final String getCustInfoQuery =
    "select NAME, ADDRESS_LINE1, ADDRESS_LINE2, CITY, STATE, ZIP from CUST where ID =  'ABCD' ";but i want it to be dymanic like this so when the user selects an id from the drop down on one jsp it displays on the other jsp the cust info

here is the first jsp where the user selects an ID from the drop down -- this works -- the user selects an id and onSubmit it passes it to the second jsp

ID=<b><%=id></b></td> ---- this works the id is sent from the first jsp to this pagebut how do i get ID to set to the ? in the SQL statement so when the user selects from the drop down the proper info displays????

You'll have to pass the ID obtained as
String custId = request.getParameter("id"); to the getCustInfo() method.
In the method the query is built as follows
public static final String getCustInfoQuery =
    "select NAME, ADDRESS_LINE1, ADDRESS_LINE2, CITY, STATE, ZIP from CUST where ID =  ? ";
ps = conn.prepareStatement(getCustInfoQuery );
ps.setString(1, custId);//rest of the code follows.
