Send an picture to body of an email (2nd way)
Hello to everyone,
Yesterday I post a message about the following problem:
"How can we send in ABAP, in the STD text to an email, with a picture in the body of the email (not as an attachment)?"
This message was brillantly responded by Rich, and resolved the situation.
But I was thinking. I used a http link to get the image. So when a mail is opened, it will get the image at the http link provided.
Instead of using the http link to get the picture when the mail is opened, it is possible to include the picture inside the email, making no necessary to email when opened, to search the link provided?
Best Regards

Hello everyone
Still, regarding with this question, exist any function module to send an email with a reference to images (context id CID) ?
for example:
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 color=navy face="Times New Roman"><span
style='font-size:12.0pt;color:navy'><img width=446 height=34
<b>src="cid:[email protected]"</b> border=0></span></font></p>
In Mail Form exist one functionality to insert Web Graphic that I may use to send mail with one image. But how do I include the picture inside the email body?
I send emails with function module CRM_ERMS_MAIL_SEND. Then I insert web grafics at Mail form but when I send the email with reference at my mail form with web grafics, the function module CRM_IM_MAIL_BUILDER don't return information about pictures.
Thanks in advance
Best regards from a rainy day at Lisbon

I'm having trouble with attachments. When I select a document to attach, in either Word (doc) or pdf, sometimes the whole file opens in the body of the document, instead of just appearing as an attachment icon. I can't figure out why this only happens sometimes...seems to happen more with documents I've scanned in and saved as either Word or PDF files - what might I be doing wrong?
There is nothing wrong. I never understood why Apple Mail shows attachments randomly as icon or inline documents or a mix of them.
If you ctrl+click the PDF or Word document you should be able to choose from the menu, show as icon.
If you want to permanently show the attachments as icons, close Apple Mail, open Terminal and issue the following command
defaults write com.apple.mail DisableInlineAttachmentViewing -bool yes -
Sending a picture to the body of email ( not as an attachment)
Hello everyone,
I have an abap program that sends an email to a list of users. In that email i have to send an image posted in the background of the email message. I have tried the following links but was unable to get the result.
a) Using CL_BCS to send email from ABAP
b) Send an picture to body of an email
I have tried uploading the image as a mime object and then get the url through function module. Also i have tried to implement it using html. I need your reply.
Thanks in Advance

Kulwant BoparaiHi Anshu,
Can you please let me know is the ERMS configured in your system or you are sending
the mail to the customer using Action Profiles. If you are sending the mail using a smartform
assigned to an Action profile then you can display that report internal table data or etc.. in
the smartform itself so that the output data will be available in the e-mail body itself.
Please let me know the way you are sending the e-mail if the above ones are incorrect.
Thanks

Edited by: Ravi Grover on Jul 27, 2011 12:34 PMTo display the image in other systems you will have to store the image in SMWO(SAP Web Repository)
Then call the function WWW_GET_MIME_OBJECT .
Please check this link to [Upload|http://abap-explorer.blogspot.com/2008/10/how-to-display-picture-in-screen.html] data in SMWO.

Sending a picture through email
how can you send a picture off your phone through email. on most phones it says send via email, but on the nokia 6111 it doesnt supply that option. wb xxx
I suppose you need to set up an email mailbox first (your operator's Internet access point settings, your email username/password, the email outgoing SMTP server, incoming POP3 or IMAP4 server, etc.).
The phone's user's guide should explain how to do it; the settings/values to use you get from your network operator and email provider. -
How to send a picture to facebook directly
How to send a picture from iphone to facebook directly
The easiest way is opening up a message to the desired person and hitting the camera icon to the left of the message bar, where you will be prompted to pick one from your camera roll or take a new one.
You can also choose a current picture from your roll and select "MMS" when pressing the new message icon (arrow and a rectangle) in the corner of the screen.
If neither of these ways are working, check settings > messages > and make sure "MMS Messaging" is enabled.
If you still receive this error double check your AT&T account to ensure that your plan allows for MMS messaging.

When I email an attachment (a .jpg file) with "Always Send Windows-Friendly Attachments" checked, the result is a picture embedded in the body of the email, not a attachment. What am I doing wrong.
1. "Always Send Windows-Friendly Attachments" has nothing to do with the display of attachments on either your machine or other ones. It's an esoteric setting that strips the resource fork from Mac files (that might have them) which could apper as a duplicate file on the Windows machine.
2. Send Plain Text emails. Then it will always be received as an attachment. -
Under attach, I selected file and then selected a photo. It appeared as an attachment outgoing, however, it was received inserted in the body of the email. Thank you in advance.
I think this depends on the recipient's mail client. Thunderbird, for instance, when used to view a received message with a picture attachment, will display the picture appended to the message. To a casual glance it would appear to be embedded into the message.
Send your messages using plain text (not HTML) and images ''cannot'' be embedded. If they appear to be embedded then it's the recipient's mail client to blame and therefore beyond your control.
You could zip your pictures to force them to be processed as attachments at the receiving end. ;-) -

How do you email photos from an iphone to a business email so that the photo shows up as an attachment vs. a part of the body of the email?
Eric, thanks for the info about the pictures, it worked. The mail icon is not the one that came with the mac(it looks like a stamp with an eagle) this appears at a notepad with a ruler, paintbrush and pencil. I can not open it, I did not download it and now I can not turn off the computer with shutdown I have to manually turn if off by pressing the power button. This can not be normal. Any suggestions. thanks, Ellen

How can I keep pictures images from opening up in the body of an email
Every time I attach a pic in mac mail, it opens in the body of the email. I never had this issue with Outlook.
I typically attach several pics at a time, the email becomes very messy. Any suggestions on how to keep it from opening.
I am using jpeg images.
Plantguy1It depends.
When you copy an image from a website in Firefox (right-click > Copy Image), Firefox stores the HTML code that website is using to display the image. Then when you paste into Yahoo mail, Yahoo uses that code to display the image in your message, by linking out to the source site.
However, if you copy the image from a source other than a web page, Yahoo mail (webmail interface) can't use this technique and although it sometimes seems to show the image in the post, when I send, I just get a strange "inline image" notation in its place.
If you access your Yahoo mail on a device in a dedicated mail client, then you usually would have more options because the mail program will encode the image into the message. -
How can I get a newsletter created in PDF format to appear in the body of an email I send, rather than attach it.
You cannot. (A few email programs might show it automatically; you cannot stop that either).

How can I get a picture to go with my email signature when sending emails from my iPad? Only a square box shows up on my signature not the actual picture I iploaded in my settings.
Only Apple Account Security could help at this point. You can try calling Apple Support in Canada - you'll have to find one of the several ways, such as Skype, to call an 800 number from outside of the relevant country - and ask for Account Security and see if they can help. Or you can find a friend who speaks Chinese and ask them to help you talk to Apple Support in China. There are really no other options that I know of.
Note, by the way, that these are user-to-user support forums. You aren't speaking with Apple when you post here.
Regards. -
I know this has come up before but I have not come across a satisfactory answer. Someone suggested removing my signature. I did that. It didn't help. I have a batch of photos I want to send to my computer to print out. I do not want to print out the emails, just the images. I know I can copy and paste the images into a word doc, other application doc etc., but that seems gratuitously laborious. I started off emailing the photos from the photos app, and the first couple arrived as files which I can right click and save, open etc. so I know it's possible, but the rest were sent as images in the body of the email.
Can anyone suggest anything? I am fairly new to apple products, so please don't assume I know all the ins and outs of them!
Thanks!Hello philip21,
You may need to remove the email account from your iPhoto Preferences, and then readd it.
