Send PDF attachment to Multiple Receipents - SD Document Output Type
Hi,
i have created a new output type in v/30 transaction for the sales order to send externally (i.e. as Email attachment). Output type ZWWW and Application V1. In the mail Title and texts entered the title (Subject). In the processing routines selected medium as u201CExternal Sendu201D and program /SMB40/RVADOR01, Form routine as ENTRY and also inputted the custom smartform name in the PDF/Smartform form. In the partner function tree, selected sold-to party (SP) for External send. SAVEd it.
The above setup will send email to just one email id maintained in the customer master. I wanted to send the email to multiple email ids.
Any suggestions on how to go about doing this?

You can specify the Partners in partner functions in NACE transaction as you already given to sold-to party.

Attach a Smart form to a output type .

May i know how to attach a smart form to a output type in NACE transaction.
So that when we take PO printout from me9f it should work fine.

If you want to print a PO with smartform, please maintain it in t-code
NACE with SAP standard settings.
1- normal method using the standard PO printing:

Send pages document as pdf attachment without including the whole document in the message
What I am trying to do is to write a document in pages then send it as a pdf attachment which shows as a mail icon in the mail message. One then clicks on the icon and the attached file opens. Seems I can do it if I send it as a word doc but every time I try and send it as a PDF the whole document shows up in the email body....
Is there something I am not doing?

We also tried this:
Wrote document in Pages and used "export" to save it as a PDF document.
Fired up Mail, clicked on add attachment and as usual we got the document in the body
Highlighted the document and right clicked.
In drop down menu we selected "show as Icon" and it did just that
We then sent it to our Tablet where, believe it or not it came up as an attachment NOT in the body of the mail.
Just shaking our heads on this on but I do really think Jerry is absolutely right so will not take any more chances and add a second page if I have to send a pdf......

Attachment Content When sending PDF attachment in Send Mail Step

I am sending a PDF document which is on the file system using "send_mil" step . It is not executing the send_mil step with out entering anything in the Attachment Content. If i enter some thing , the Send_mil step is executed but the PDF is not opening in the received mil as it is not Properly decoded.

Attachment Content is not Mandatory to enter unless you wish to override the Attachment Property.
Basically we use this content along with Encoded Image Property like chart, spc and image loader action block.
If you are loading file from system using Proper path in Attachment Section then no need to use Attachment Content section.
Ensure that you have set the Attachment Content Type to "application/pdf" to send pdf files and a valid File path in Attachment section.

How to send pdf attachment through BPEL
Hi All,
I have been looking for a solution to send a pdf as an attachment in bpel. My requirement is,
- Send a SOAP request to 'SendAttachment' bpel service with all the input parameters
- SendAttachment bpel service validates the input and generates the pdf within the bpel process
- SendAttachment bpel has to return the generated pdf as attachment along with response payload.
I did some research but couldn't a relevant scenario. I have no idea about how to start with. Experts, please suggest on how to implement this scenario.

I tried to build a small application to handle the above mentioned scenario. But I am unable to send pdf as attachment in BPEL. Below are the details,
1) Created a standalone weblogic webservice(instead of ejb as you mentioned) - 'GetAttachmentService' in eclipse that will create a pdf and send it along with the xml response.
2) In GetAttachmentService, created pdf is converted into byte[] and mapped to a 'base64Binary' element in 'GetAttachmentResponse'.
3) Tested the above webservice successfully using SOAP UI. I am able to see the binary data as one of the elements in GetAttachmentResponse.
4) Now, I have created a composite in SOA suite that will have a webservice adapter(to consume GetAttachmentService) and a BPEL process - 'SendAttachmentBPEL' to read the response elements.
5) SendAttachmentBPEL response has a 'base64Binary' element to hold the binary data from GetAttachmentService response.
6) Modified the SendAttachmentBPEL wsdl to accomodate mime content as below.
7) Since there is mime part in wsdl, EM didn't allow me to test there. So I have used SOAP UI to test SendAttachmentBPEL, I am getting the pdf as binary data in one of the response elements rather as attachment. Please take a look at the below BPEL snippet and suggest if any changes are required.
My objective is when I hit the SendAttachmentBPEL in SOAP UI, I should get back a response along with pdf attachment.

Sending PDF attachement via OUTLOOK
Hello All,
I am sending the output of a sales order as a PDF attachment via outlook mail.
It wokrs fine. but only worry is the Chinese characters are appearing strange and not the characters what we need. The function module used to convert OTF to PDF is CONVERT_OTF.
If I print / preview the output in SAP it shows the Chinese characters correctly.
What can be the reason ? Please help.

It happened to me when using Mozilla and know updated to Firefox:
I Cannot send pdf files attached from my Hard Disk,I can send any other files (.doc,.jpeg,.xls etc..) BUT NOT PDF...I can recieved them,forward them,send them compresed (.zip) but not as a pdf.
But if i use the same computer in my Hotmail account with Safari I CAN!
Any idea?

Attachment and web standards being what they are, I think it is better if you simply upload the PDF to a website for people to view and just give them the link to it. Obviously Hotmail isn't using http://www.w3.org/ standards, otherwise the behavior of the site wouldn't be so different between web browsers. -
