How do I send a PDF with a file name rather than seeing the entire file in the e-mail?

Compress it and add the compressed file as an enclosure.
For example, control (right) click on the desired pdf in the Finder to bring up the Finder's contextual menu and then select Compress. It will make a .zip file of the pdf (it doesn't change the pdf). Then drag the .zip to the mail message. The receiver will get the .zip and they can expand it back to the .pdf on their end (if it's a mac then they can just double click the .zip to expand it).

I am not aware of a way except for photos that allows you to select multiple files in an email. I even checked settings in the Adobe Reader app, and it does not show that ability.

Following is the procedure to convert alv output to spool and then it to PDF Format.
After we display the ALV, we can check whether it is running in the background using system field u2018sy-batchu2018. Then,we call an function module named u2018GET_JOB_RUNTIME_INFOu2019 to get the current job information. Then go to spool request table tbtcp to get the spool id.

How can I send a PDF form for someone to complete, then lock it for no one to see except us when they send it back?

We would like to create a PDF form to collect sensitive information (phone numbers, payment information) from our customers. Ideally, we would like for them to be able to fill it out, then hit a button to encrypt it when completed, and send it back to us for us to view. Kind of like sending out an open, self-locking box for them to fill, and once they close it no one can see the contents without the key (which we would have).
I’m using Adobe Acrobat Pro XI (11.0.07) on Mac OSX (10.9.4).

You can use certificate encryption. Each of your customers needs to have a digital certificate with a private key and send you the public key version of his/her certificate. You also need to have a digital certificate with private key and to send each customer the public version of your certificate. Then after each customer fills in your form, she encrypts it with certificate encryption entering as recipients herself and you before sending this PDF to you. This way only this particular customer and you can open and see PDF filled with sensitive information.
This workflow presumes that you and each of your customers can procure a digital certificate (Digital ID in Acrobat-speak).

The SOFM Object should be created as follows.
1) get the relationship using class 'CL_BINARY_RELATION' using method 'READ_LINKS'
2) get the instance ID from INSTID_B
3) split the value according to the keyfields in SOFM and create object SOFM
4) bind each object to the Workitem or Email.

Error opening the PDF file while sending the PDF as an attachment

Hi All,
I am sending a PDF as an attachment in the mail. I am using the code pasted on 'Jul 28, 2006 8:59 AM' subject OTF Format of Purchase Order in email unreadable.
My problem is when I open the attachment in SOST or in the mail, I get the error message "Adobe could not open *.PDF because it is either not a supported file type or because the file type has been corrupted."
Please let me know if anybody has faced such an issue.

Here a spool output is converted into PDF and then sent as an email.
I think instead of using FM to change the width, try the logic mentioned in the link.
Also instead of FM CONVERT_TO_OTF use :
1. CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF
I hope this should solve the problem.
I had referred the same program from the link and it worked absolutely fine. Also check the adobe acrobat version, i guess old version doesnt support SAP, though not very sure.

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

How can I send a PDF via mail without it becoming an attached file?

Hi All!
I need to know how I am able to send a PDF file via mail, without it becoming an attached file. This means when the receiver opens the mail, he automatically sees the PDF without first having to read the normal mail text and scroll down to open the attached PDF file. Just like a spam newsletter
Also I want to know - I want some illustrations in my portfolio to be a hyperlink to a website, is this possible on a picture (not on an URL) - and if so - How?

Can you please provide inputs as to how one can send a PDF document to a FAX server . In my SCOT i have config done for FAX . I am able to send PDF document via e-mail . Wonder how to use FM 'CONVERT_OTF_AND_FAX' for sending fax ? There is a parameter called FAXOPTIONS in export parameter which we need to pass . What all we need to pass in here ? any idea or some other way here?

Sending a PDF form without a desktop email application

I developed a PDF form using Livecycle and now discoved that the computers that users have do not have an email client installed. instead, they use OWA. So my Save and Send Email button will save the PDF but not email it. Is there a way to send the PDF (I've read something about http or server-side scripts) that will be automatic so that the user doesn't manually have to attach the saved file to an OWA email and type in an email address? We've used pdformail.asp in the past, but, for some reason, it's not working for me now.I get a message saying that the page can't be displayed. The code for this action page is copied below.

that depends on the mail client of your email recipient. There is nothing you can control on the sender end. For example, Mail will display pdf attachments inline automatically.
