Sent email from gp workflow

hi,
I have a gp workflow in which there are 3 stages.
The callable objects are created using (Form) webdyn pro form.
End user submits a form(Webdynpro form) to his approver .When the approver rejctes the form can I automatically sent an email to the enduser telling that he is rejected.If he approves it has to go to the next level approver.If the second level approver rejects the form again mail has to be send telling that he is rejected and if approved also mail has to be send that he is approved.
can i trigger a mail while clickin on approve or reject button?
please help me to solve this issue

Sorry for disturbing this thread.I thought it would be better to continue this thread as my doubts are quiet relevant to the current topic.
Well to add to this, I have few doubts regarding this EMAIL stuff in GPs.
Doubt-1 :
Where does this email id gets picked up from ? Is it from User's General Information that is maintained during User creation ? Or is it from the backend user's SU01 ?
Doubt-2 :
As said in the above thread, you said you can check the server log, is it some kind of tab in GP Desing time of Callable Object's ? Or should we check the logs in Server itself.
Doubt-3 :
Can we use RULES of Workflows inside GP's, I hope you understood what I mean. To be more clear, we have a standard Rule 168 to determine it's immediate reporting manager and we have the option of defining Custom rules in workflows. Can we reuse these rules in some way?
If not, As suggested in some thread, we have to create a set of import/export parameters and call a FM from GP and determine the Agent as an PARAMETER. Now, can we use this AGENT PARAMETER as reciepent of email.
Sorry, I am not fully into GUIDED PROCS. But just started with it.

You can't. There is no way to eliminate those remembered addresses in the mail app. Eventually if you keep ignoring that address it will go away, but it can take some time before it disappears. The only way that you can eliminate now, is by restoring the iPad to factory settings and that's pretty radical just to get rid of a mistyped email address - IMO anyway.

talk to your work's IT department. Find out if their policies allow you to do this, then they can give you all the settings.
If they don't, then you can look into if your work has webmail and access your mail via the internet

But where can i find the history of my sent emails from iphoto. I can´t find it in mail.

iPhoto and Mail are two entirely separate apps, so Mail keeps no record of what iPhoto does and vice versa.
iPhoto's mail feature is aimed at folks who use web mail generally, and who wanted templates. It's a handy way to send photos to Grandma, it's not an email client. It doesn't have a history or sent mail box.
Workarounds:
You can set iPhoto to bcc yourself automatically
or
Use Mail. It has templates too, and more of them.

If you have a POP account, this will not happen. If you have an IMAP or Exchange account signing in as the other poster stated will work. So, it depends on what type of account you have.

Restoring sent email from IMAP account using Time Machine backup

I see others are having trouble with sent mail after Snow Leopard upgrades, but I think I have a different issue.
After my domain host's most recent 12-hour downtime, I shifted my domain's email hosting to Google. Everything's working fine sending and receiving, but now I'm missing a year's worth of sent email from that account. It's all backed up on Time Machine, but I'm looking for advice on how to restore the backed up sent mail from Time Machine while preserving the couple of weeks' worth of sent email that's in the Mail app's sent box for that account now.

Sorry for the lag time closing this question out. I eventually shut everything down, including the external hard drive, spun everything back up and tried again. (I had been on the correct, earlier backup file and not on the current day, which was why the grayed out restore button was so disconcerting.)
The second attempt worked, but it took two or three tries to retrieve all the sent emails. The first two outings only recovered about 10 days' worth despite having months of sent email selected and available to recover. The third time it grudgingly worked correctly.
The whole experience has left me very wary about Time Machine, frankly. I do thank everyone for their help. I'll post this note in the other forum and so there's a resolution to bot

There is no built in way to do this in iOS. If this trick doesn't work for you, then it can't be done.

You can't send emails? Do you receive an error message when you try to send them? Have you done ANY troubleshooting on the device at all? If you don't have time to try things yourself, it will almost certainly take longer to try it in here.

This depends on which account you are talk about... The gMail account should automatically sync the sent items from your device but some accounts wont allow sync of all folders and the only way without a third party app is to send a CC to yourself when you sent the messages.

Sent email from my SMS on iPhone 4 - was received by my GF's iPad, but not her email...

My GF's iPad is wifi ready. I've sent her emails from my iPhone 4 SMS hundreds of times and they go to her hotmail account with no trouble. Today, after sending several already, one of them went to her iPad's SMS (or whatever the message system is called) and NOT her hotmail account at all. We don't understand how it happened and REALLY want to prevent this from happening account. Another interesting factoid - her email address shows on my phone as an active iDevice ready for an iMessage...

I am not sure whether this is related, but I had a problem with Gmail where each time I sent and email via my iPhone it would bounce back in my Gmail account as unread. You migh want to check this Google article explaining why this happens and how to avoid it:

Sent email from my iPhone not synching with my desktop Mac

I am stumped. When I send email from my iPhone (using my POP account) the email is sent, shows up in my iPhone sent folder but does not show up in the sent folder in the Mail application on my desktop plus the little icon showing that I responded is not there. I guess it is not synching. This is a problem because I often don't recall if I responded to an email from my iPhone and I end up responding again to the email when I see it on my Mac desktop. My synch is working great with contacts and calendars, both push and fetch. I am also receiving emails, push and fetch, just fine. Can anyone offer advice or insight? Thanks!

I am having the same problem. When I send from my iPhone (old version), the messages are not shown in my send folder on my desktop Mac. They are showing up in MobileMe, however. I have checked settings on my Mac and on the phone and still can't figure out what has happened. This all started with the new syncing system.

Just depends on what type of mail protocol you are using. Works just fine for IMAP or Exchange.
