Server failed during initialization ...(authentification for user denied)

hi,
I'm using weblogic 7.0 server to replace my weblogic 5.0. I've got an error during
login to the server:
<server failed during initialization Exception: java.lang.securityException: Authentification
for user denied..>
could you help me and tell me what to do ?
Thanks you.
Cyril

cyril,
You should use the same username and password that you used to boot your 5.1 server with.
hope it helps,

    Thanks

    Never mind, the correct command is:
    wls:/nm/IDMDomain> pr=makePropertiesObject("username=weblogic;password=weblogic0");
    wls:/nm/IDMDomain> nmStart('AdminServer',props=pr);
    It would be interesting however to have a list of all names of environmental variables that we can possibly set.
    Cheers.

    Hello,
    I have installed Weblogic and Soa Suite according to the SOA Suite installation "Oracle® Fusion Middleware Quick Installation Guide for Oracle SOA Suite

    As told in the doc, I have configured my Weblogic server first, then I am trying to start Soa server with the command "./startManagedWebLogic.sh soa_server1"

    Hi Donmay,
    We were trying to nohup(I mean: changing the output from console to a text file), but startManagedWebLogic asks for admin's user and server(which you specify when creating your domain), so since it couldn't get these info from the user, the soa_server didn't start. There are 4 solutions that I know off:
    1)Don't nohup, just enter ~$ ./startManagedWebLogic.sh soa_server1
    2)Specify the user and passwd in startManagedWebLogic. The two variables are WLS_USER and WLS_PW
    3)Create a boot.password file in .../domain/bin and in the startManagedWebLogic add this -Dweblogic.system.BootIdentityFile="fileGoesHere" JAVA_OPTIONS (http://blogs.oracle.com/middleware/2010/05/weblogic_not_reading_bootproperties_1111x.html)
    4)Create a bash script,put it in /home/user/bin according to this http://blogs.oracle.com/reynolds/2010/03/cold_start.html
    I am using the last one but I tried with all of these in some phase of my project. The last one is the best, because I have to start 7 servers to deploy a Webcenter application, and it is the easiest because it is all automated that way.
    Sorry for the late reply, I have posted from my phone.

  • [JTAExceptions:119002]A logging last resource failed during initialization

    Hi Guys,
    After creating data source when we restart the weblogic/soa/osb server..we are getting following error.
    Reason: [JTAExceptions:119002]A logging last resource failed during initialization. The server cannot boot unless all configured logging last resources (LLRs) initialize. Failing reason:
    javax.transaction.SystemException: weblogic.transaction.loggingresource.LoggingResourceException: java.sql.SQLException: J
    DBC LLR, table verify failed for table *'WL_LLR_SOA_SERVER1', row 'JDBC LLR Domain//Server' record had unexpected value 'soa_domain//AdminServer' expected value 'soa_domain//soa_server1'>* .
    I checked the table 'WL_LLR_SOA_SERVER1', this tables have poolnamestr = 'soa_domain//soa_server1'..
    some times we get the error: 'WL_LLR_SOA_SERVER1', row 'JDBC LLR Domain//Server' record had unexpected value 'base_domain//soa_server1' expected value 'soa_domain//soa_server1'>* .*
    My concern is ..we have only one domain (soa_domain) also 'WL_LLR_SOA_SERVER1' table is populated with correct value..then from where 'base_domain' value is coming?
    Our SOA server is running on linux 64 bit platform. and it's not a cluster installation.
    can some one suggest me how to fix this issue.
    thanks,
    AB

    Hi Anuj,
    Yes We have only one domain and this issue we face when we bounce the server after creating datasources.
    Sometime this issue also appear when we try to deploy the datasource in managed/admin server.. for example..
    An error occurred during activation of changes, please see the log for details.
    weblogic.application.ModuleException:
    JDBC LLR, table verify failed for table 'WL_LLR_SOA_SERVER1', row 'JDBC LLR Domain//Server' record had unexpected value 'soa_domain//AdminServer' expected 'soa_domain//soa_server1'*** ONLY the original domain and server that creates an LLR table may access it ***
    thanks,
    Ab

  • Authentication for "user" denied

    When I startup the Weblogic server 7.0 with correct username and password, it throws Authentication for "user" denied error message. Does anyone know what could be the problem?

    Go to your WL_HOME/WL_DOMAIN/SERVERNAME and rename the ldap directory to e.g. ldap_backup.
    WLS will then create a new LDAP direcory at boot time. If you are using adminserver
    please remember to rename its ldap server, hence the managed servers ldaps retrieve
    data from the admin servers ldap.
    It worked for me.
    Cheers
    Heini

    I compared the classpath of the MS1 ( Running fine on Machine1, on the same box Admin is also running fine. ) and MS2. They are exactly same and we are passing the same start up argument.
    But when I am trying to start the MS2 through admin console its throwing the same error.

    Hi,
    Were you able to initialize the application using initialize_services.sh?
    Check Discover.0.0.log in <apps>/Discover/logs/ directory and check for more detail exception stack trace.

  • Can't start managed server - Authentication for user denied

    Greetings,
    I have a WebLogic 10.3.6 based domain. The admin server works correctly. Using the admin console, I created a managed server. It is not associated to any machine and I don't use node manager. The managed server listens on localhost:7101 while the admin listens on localhost:7001. Starting the managed server asks for an user/password authentication. Using the same as the one used for the admin console says:

    I googled a while and found a post saying that the realm is probably altered or in an incorrect status. I reset the the admin's credentials using weblogic.security.utils.AdminAccount but this disn't change anything. Of course, upon the managed server creation, I initialized the fierlds user and password in the server starting tab of the admin console.
    Many thanks for any help.

    Hi,
    Have you configured LDAP Authenticator on the server?
    If yes, afther the change did you restart both the servers - admin and managed?

  • Authentication for user denied in realm weblogic

    Hi,
    I was testing distributing EJB's to different server with their client and kept
    hitting my head to the wall with the following problem almost the whole day:
    Stacktrace = javax.naming.AuthenticationException. Root exception is java.lang.SecurityException:

    It seems that the problem was with an error with weblogic documentation about
    getting InitialContext. The example code from bea was:
    Context ctx = getInitialContext("t3://localhost:7001", "user1", "user1Password");
    static Context getInitialContext(String url, String user, String password) {
    Properties h = new Properties();
    h.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY,
    "weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory");
    h.put(Context.PROVIDER_URL, url);
    h.put(Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL, user);
    return new InitialContext(h);
    Funnily, password is not used....after realising that I added line
    h.put(Context.SECURITY_CREDENTIALS, password);
    and the code works. Is it possible that this was the problem (and documentation
    has been incorrect for years now) or was there something that I missed?

    we will get that corrected.

  • Error in Application log SCOM mgmt server 25934 Credentials are null for user

    Hi,   We recently started getting errors like the one shown below on one of our SCOM management servers.

    Thanks Lance

    Hi,
    If agent is installed on the VMM server, it will collect the information and send it to SCOM server. The event indicates the SCOM agent tried to access the registry key that was included in the User Profile but failed.
    Please specify a local account or domain account as the SCOM action account for a test.

  • Mail server automatically cc all email for user to other acct but group...

    Back on April 2007, David_X answered this question:
    How to have the mail server automatically cc all e-mail for user to other accounts, (gmail, hotmail, etc). Here is the old post that explains that:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=4357149&#4357149
    What I did not catch at the time was if you setup a Group, one of three ways, the cc step no longer works. There is a fourth way but it is not practical. Creating local groups on individual Macs.
    *Group method 1 per David_X:*
    Use edited group files on the server.
    The following sends to members of groups but does not show all recipients in the received message...
    In /etc/postfix/aliases, add...
    groupname: :include:/path/to/groupname.txt
    In a file called groupname.txt (using plaintext editor)...
    [email protected]
    [email protected]
    Reload aliases...
    sudo newaliases
    sudo postalias aliases
    sudo postfix reload
    Mail sent to [email protected] gets passed to amavisd once, before then being relayed out for each individual recipient.
    *Group method 2 per David_X:*
    Make a user, e.g., "accounts"
    In mail settings, select 'Forward' option and enter the group members' email addresses, comma separated e.g.,
    [email protected],[email protected]
    This gets a bit 'long' for lots of members.
    The email then gets sent to each of the people in this list.
    *Group method 3 that I just discovered:*
    Create a group in Workgroup Manager.
    Drag the users you want in it.
    Save.
    Test sending to that group.
    Best part, the group name shows up in Address Book if you have LDAP setup.
    So I have setup all three. If I send an email to any type of group, they work.
    The problem:
    If one of those members in the group also has a BCC setup to Gmail or any other outside email, they never get the e-mail copied out to the external account.
    Example:
    I send an email to [email protected]. He gets the email there and also a copy at his Gmail account.
    If I send an email to the Sales group that jsmith belongs to, he gets the email there but nothing at the Gmail account.
    It looks like the mail server processes the "aliases" file and skips the "Recipient_bcc" file that handles the forwards.
    Is there a way to have my cake and eat it too? David_X your thoughts also?
    Thanks everyone!

    Bump.
    Short version. Sales guy has a Gmail account he wants his e-mail copied to also.
    Send e-mail directly to his Xserve account, he gets it there and it gets sent on to his Gmail account.
    Send an e-mail to the sales Group that he is a member of, he gets it there but it never gets sent out to the Gmail account.
    Ideas?

  • Writing client app to connect to Exchange Server 2013 and set OOF for users on vacation

    I am coding an C# app that should connect to Exchange Server 2013 on-premise (Servers Location is not in our Company). I`ve got an account (User and Pass) with readonly admin-rights for now and want to read and set OutOfOffice Objects for other users. I
    decide to use EWS Managed API over Autodiscovery but I am bit confuse how
    I tried to connect with "service.UseDefaultCredentials = true" and read contacts -> this code works:
    try
                ExchangeService _service
    = new ExchangeService(ExchangeVersion.Exchange2013_SP1);
                _service.Credentials
    = new WebCredentials("service.exchange",
    "1234", "domain");
                _service.TraceEnabled
    = true;
                _service.TraceFlags
    = TraceFlags.All; _service.UseDefaultCredentials
    = true;
                _service.AutodiscoverUrl("[email protected]",
    RedirectionUrlValidationCallback);
                foreach
    (Contact contact in _service.FindItems(WellKnownFolderName.Contacts,
    new ItemView(2)))
    var test = contact;
            catch
    (Exception exception)
                Console.WriteLine(exception);
    After that I tried the same with _service.UseDefaultCredentials = false; got error -> "The Autodiscover service couldn't be located." I am not shure if this "direct log on" is the right way, On msdn I've read about "delegate access"
    and "Impersonation" (NTLM and Basic Authentication) I'am a bit confused. Can anybody help me?

    hi,
    when you set a credential, you don't have to set the UseDefaultCredentials property (it is already updated).
    For autodiscover, you should try to set the property EnableScpLookup to True if you are in the Exchange domain or it is known by the current domain.
    Autodiscover uses a domain query (through Active Directory) and/or a dns query (this requires a DNS register for autodiscover.domain.net) to determine the access to the autodiscover service URI.
