Session Process

Hi All,
What are the problems in processing batch input sessions?
How is batch input process different from processing online?
Thanks in advance..
Anshu,,

Hi Anshu,
i) If the user forgets to opt for keep session then the session will be automatically removed from the session queue(log remains).  However if session is processed we may delete it manually.
ii)if session processing fails data will not be transferred to SAP database table
I think it ll help u..
if satisfied rewards me..
Kind Regards
Yogesh

  • How to increase the Max. No. of connections(Sessions) & Processes in DB?

    Hi,
What are all the options to increase the Max. No. of connections(Sessions) & Processes in Database?
Also, I would like to know How we have to validate the count to fix the No. of connections based on the Database Health?
    Kindly clarify me on this.
    Thanks,

Also, I would like to know How we have to validate the count to fix the No. of connections based on the Database Health?Check v$license.SESSIONS_HIGHWATER value. That would give you an indication of highest possible load on the database. In case of a brand new setup (with no information about the number of concurrent users), you need to start with a reasonable value and revise if needed.

  • IllegalStateException: Internal Servlet Session Process Error Found!

I keep getting the annoying error as listed, and the server also keeps reporting
that I can only connect from 0 unique ip addresses. Has anybody else seen these
type of frustrations on 8.1 sp2, or can explain them.
              With as much detail omitted for simplicity;
              Frustration 1.
I have a 8sp2 server running all ok, occasionally after a redeploy of an ear file
I attempt to load a jsp file, and the error below is thrown.
The JSP has a bean which is session based, and as from following the stack trace
it is around some weblogic code which tests if my license allows access to the
http session (on a developer license). I then have to start another server instance
and do a deployment of a v.simple war, and access this, then deploy the same war
to the broken server and access that, then the initial jsp works fine. no code
changes just environment stops, starts and redeploys!
              Frustration 2
Server runs ok, tray and connect from two machines (I have an ldap server that
wants to 'broadcast' messages to my server), error of too many connections.
The ip connection issues can in most cases be removed with a server restart.

  • Unable to connect - v$session.process property...

I recently needed to move my DB instance - including SQL Developer - to another location (simply copied the entire Oracle Home). Everything went smoothly - DB runs fine - no issues. All client applications work fine as well - except for SQL Developer.
SQL Developer has no problem launching or locating user preferences - however it simply can not connect to any database (not just the local db instance). The following error is thrown: "Status: Failure - Connection Property: format error: Property is 'v$session.process' and value is '[email protected]'"
I'm using Oracle 11g on Oracle Enterprise Linux 5. SQL Developer version 1.2.0.
    Thanks.

    You may try

Then try processing batch input session.

  • Error in batch session processing in background mode

    Hi ,
I am trying to do data transfer using batch session for transaction FD32.
Here the batch session is executing when I am processing the session in foreground.
Whereas in background mode it is failing.
    Please check and assit.
    Regards
    Kishore

    Hi Kishore,
Probably it will be some information or warning message which is coming in the background execution of the session.
That is the reason your session is going into error. Run the errored out session once again in foreground mode. You will get to know the reason of failure.
Please let us know of any doubts.
    Cheers

  • Error in BDC session processing

    hi all,
I am running the BDC session method. while running the session the interface throws warning message. If it gives more than one warning message in background the session goes into error. is there any way to skip these and still continue the processing of session in background

    Praveen,
By default all the warnings are suppressed irrespective of the number of warnings.
You must be encountering a error not a warning

  • BDC Session processing in SM35

    Hi,
Please let me if a session in SM35 has lot of data to process, will it be timed out??
    Thanks & Regards,
    Soumya.

    Hi Soumya
If you are not sure whether the huge data while processing would time out.
    Follow these steps:-
    1.Go to SM35.
    2. Select the data to be processed.
    3. Click the Process button. A pop will appear.
    4. In Processing mode Select Background Radio button.
    5. Also check the Extended log check button in additional functions.
    Second way is:
    1.Go to SM35.
    2. Select the data to be processed.
    3. Click the Process button. A pop will appear.
    4. In Processing mode Select Display Errors Only Radio button.
    5. It will process data in backgound and errors will appear in foreground.

  • Problem in background session processing

    Hi Experts,
I am performing BDC by batch input session method.
I acheved BDC by traditional recording method and able to create batch input session in SM35.
Whenever I process batch input session in FOREGROUND it processes successfully. But whenever I processes it in BACKGROUND it throws an exception
    runtime error.
This recording is for transaction CK74.this transaction screen contains some table controls.Error is "Control Framework: fatal error: GUI cannot be reached".
Please let me know if anybody has solution for this.
    Thanks,
    Yogesh.

    Hi yogesh,
I think u might be using the function module upload or ws_upload to upload the data to the internal table. Try to use GUI_UPLOAD, while processing the session on background.
I think it will solve ur problem.
    Regards...
    Arun.

I run it again and I get something different, this time the lock is still there, but no session. select * from v$session where sid= 514 returns nothing.

It seems here, that I am catching the same SID on new sessions, but it is probably a different serial # than the original session locking the table rows.
    I get nothing from
    select * from dba_waiters;
    select * from dba_blockers;
Now why are those 3 tables row locked on some rows and I can't find the session responsible? The developer tells me his application crashed and the rows are locked since.
So far ( keep in mind I am not a locking expert) the only way I found to release the locks is a DB bounce, its a test DB so no biggy.
Is this a bug? Am I missing something?
This is the second time this has happened. How can I solve this issue?
    Best wishes to all.

    Thank you for your reply.
I do not think I can kill the session (514) it does not exist, even though v$locked_object reports tables are locked by session 514

  • Session processing

    Hi all,
how to process the session in background(from the program).
without have to go to SM35.

    Hi Saritha,
Sorry to interrupt between the post but couldnt find your contact id from ur business card. I have seen one of your blog on IS-U Migration Workbench. You said that u have some document on the tool. Could you please forward me the document if it is different from the EQ81 tcode. I'm expecting something like a  tutorial document. Please do mail me the document at [email protected]
Im sorrry once again for interrupting between the post.
    Thanks.

  • Log of Batch run, session processed ia RSBDCSUB

    Hi All
I have used the below code to push the BDC sessions for processing:
    SUBMIT RSBDCSUB
           WITH...
           WITH..
           EXPORTING TO MEMORY
           AND RETURN.
Now i want to get the detail if any errors in the processing.
How do i achieve that, i am unable to find.

You need to poll for the completion of the corresponding job(s), then read the batch session logs/statistics using the RSTS_* functions.  You can see the call sequence using runtime analysis on SM35.
